This hotel has really bad customer service. I booked a room months in advance for 2 people and PREPAID specifically because we were coming to a conference and might arrive overnight. When I arrived very early in the morning, our room had been given away! There was NO apology, compensation, or any kindness whatsoever from the front desk staff, just over and over rudeness and blaming me. They had actually cancelled our reservation without even bothering to check with us first. Also, *WE* were charged a cancellation fee when we didn't even cancel. THEY cancelled on US. Managers were conveniently too busy for us when we asked to speak with them. Maybe this cancelling customers within a very short window is industry standard? I don't know, but honestly I expected better from a hotel that is supposed to be working regularly with international conference attendees. The room was in the names of 2 business associates, so what are the chances that we were not going to show if there was any question? 0% chance. Big fail Marriott. Don't waste your money here.
