Best experience my wife Corinne and I ever had. We stayed five nights, always enjoyed conversing with Raymond and Laura.

Embassy Circle Guest House is our very favorite place to stay in Washington, D. C. Laura and Raymond Saba have the true gift of hospitality and go out of their way for their guests. The house has been lovingly restored, and designed for the pleasure and comfort of the guests. From the furnishings and beautiful carpets to the art work, to the food and wine, this is a 5 star establishment and a huge value. An additional bonus is all the wonderful and interesting people we have met while staying at this relaxed, yet elegant establishment. We come back again and again, and each visit is better than the last.

I have stayed in a number of B&Bs in DC, and this is by far the best. The location is great — — you can walk to DuPont Circle, the Metro, and the mall. The wine and snacks in the evening are a lovely touch, as is the fresh-cut fruit cup in the morning. Rooms are comfy and elegant. This will be my go-to place whenever I visit DC from now on — — AND they accept the government rate.

Great bed and breakfast. Located among the embassys, very beautiful part of town. Walking distance to many fine restaurants. Start the day with breakfast and lively conversation. More conversation in the evening. Laura and Raymond are great hosts.

Great place to stay. The owners are wonderful and so welcoming.

Pictures do not do this property justice. It is breathtaking the moment you walk into the door. To your left is the most inviting salon, perfectly orchestrated for conversation amongst strangers with a glass of tea, or even wine. The small, attentive staff along with personable owners make you feel like you are visiting friends, rather than visiting strangers. This is my go to overnight in Washington DC.

Worst place ever. I was there for company work and because of this hotel I have lost my job. There is no help on desk after 7pm and they lied to my company about me trashing the room because I said there is no one to help after 7pm. Racist mean focks.

We could not be better place than Laura og Reymond, we would definitely recommend this lovely B&B, beautiful rooms, nice breakfast and cozy with a glass of wine before dinner. The hostess and staff were very alert that we felt comfortable, the guests were presented to each other, we got good advice about the area, attention was given to birthday and Laura made sure we reached our plane. Thank you so much for a stay that made our holiday an amazing experience.

We stayed at Embassy Circle Guest House for four nights and enjoyed every minute of our time at the guest house. The breakfasts were great. Each morning Laura was at the table introducing new guests and engaging in conversation. Our room was very well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. We will recommend this guest house to any of our friends that plan on visiting the Washington DC area. The metro was just a short walk from the guest house and allowed us access to all of the sites we wanted to see, especially the Mall.

Very wonderful location right in the middle of embassy area. Very friendly staff and owners. You come in as a stranger but leave as a friend! I look forward to visiting this place again if I ever need to travel to DC.

Excellent guest house. So much better than a regular hotel. Laura and Raymond and their staff are superb. Would definitely recommend. Have been there now 10 times always a joy to come back. Feels like coming home.

Great guest house, very friendly, nice room, good location! Happy to debate anything over a glass of wine. Will use again if ever in DC.

Around the world in D. C. Is a great chance to learn about different cultures from many countries.

Today is the start of our second day here. I do not have the words to tell anyone how much I love this house. I am left breathless when I open my mouth to speak. There is a spirit of love, joy and peace that embraces you as soon as you walk through the front door. Thank you Laura and Raymond for showing unconditional love.

Great place to stay. Nice quiet neighborhood, great friendly staff, excellent breakfast and comfortable rooms. About a 10 minute walk from metro makes it easily accessible from all the sights.

If you are looking for an experience like no other, you need to stay here. It was exceptional, from the insanely comfortable bed to the friendly and entertaining breakfast table conversations. The host and hostess are some of the kindest people my husband and I have ever met. We could not have asked for a better place to stay while celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary. Again, what a custom and unique experience. 5 stars!

My husband and I spent Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend at this lovely bed and breakfast. It is located in Embassy Circle within walking distance of the metro and so many restaurants. The owners and staff were amazing! Breakfast was delicious and evening wine was delightful. Anyone looking for a beautiful, clean, relaxing place to stay in DC should stay here. We loved it and will certainly be back!

Staying here was the icing on the cake of a wonderful trip to DC. Betty welcomed us and took us to our beautiful 2 queen bedded room on the lower floor, she also had pre-loaded Smartrip cards which we took advantage of to save the faffing about at the metro station. Breakfasts were varied and plentiful with fruit, cereals, various breads and a different hot offering every day. Together with conversing with the other residents from all over the world it was just perfect. We really were made to feel like one of the family and nothing was too much trouble for Laura, Raymond and the rest of the staff. Would definitely reccomend that you visit this wonderful little gem which is perfectly placed for sightseeing in any direction. Go on — you won't be disappointed.

Outstanding accommodations, best hospitality, beautifully restored, wonderful food, warm and inviting B&B. The hosts, Laura and Raymond, and staff are amazing. This is a "gem" in the Dupont Circle neighborhood. Stayed for 4 nights in December and highly recommend. Yes, I loved my experiences with the Embassy Circle Guest House from booking to departure.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn for three nights this month. Laura and Raymond are smart, warm, thoughtful hosts as are their staff, Betty, Irina and Kate. Their attention to detail, friendliness and knowledge of the city (attractions, restaurants, means of travel) is extraordinary. I doubt the finest concierge in the city could match the service provided at the Inn. The Inn itself is spectacular. The Saba’s have renovated the former embassy from top to bottom. All the rooms are gorgeous…gracious, and simple yet luxurious. The common areas are exquisitely decorated and guests are welcomed to make use of them. The Inn is close to restaurants and a 5 minute walk to the Dupont Circle Metro Station – it is very easy to get to the museums, galleries and monuments. It is also great fun just walking in the neighbourhood. The former mansions of the Washington titans (politicians, financiers, masters of industry) now house foreign embassies. Laura will give you a list of favourite restaurants nearby, and her taste is scrumptious. We ate at Pesce (twice) and Mourayo and will go back to both next time in town. We looked forward to the delicious breakfast in the morning. After exploring Washington for hours, it was lovely to return to the Inn in the afternoon and have tea and fresh cookies waiting for us. The evening informal soirée (wine and treats) between 5:30pm and 7pm was filled with laughter and lively, good-natured discussion among all the guests and our hosts.

Don't expect too much in terms of accommodations. It's a good deal for DC though.

This may be the best bed and breakfast in the US and the reason is simple, the hosts are exceptional (Laura and Raymond). You eat breakfast and have a 5 a 7 with all the guests, seated together at one table and the ambiance is great. The hosts really create a friendly atmosphere and have tons of suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. On top of that, the place is exceptionally nice, with beautiful carpets and paintings throughout and a staff that is very friendly and professional. When we return, our choice of lodging will be easy.

My wife and I prefer to stay at Bed and Breakfast Inns whenever we travel. We found the Embassy Circle Guest House on the internet, and it is simply the finest Inn we have ever visited! Our room was immaculate, the location was perfect for tourists like us, and Raymond’s ability to find street parking for our car was most helpful. But most impressive was the kindness of our hosts and their ability to make us feel more like visiting friends than guests. Laura's ability to remember every guest’s name and introduce us to each other added to this welcome feeling. And we would be remiss if we forgot to mention the wonderful cocktail hours each evening and Raymond’s delicious grilled sausages and dipping sauces that were served the second night we were there! Angela and the rest of the staff were polite and helpful, and we are already planning our next visit! Don't even think of staying anywhere else when you're in D. C. Thanks, Raymond and Laura.

My wife and I have stayed many times at Bed and Breakfast and small inn's around the world. Embassy Circle is by far the finest Bed and Breakfast in a major city we have ever stayed at. The accommodations are first class. The house is unique, located in a world class location steps from many embassy's from all over the world. It is an easy 2 block walk to the Metro and you can be anywhere in a matter of minutes. The host's Laura and Raymond make you feel like you are part of the family. The nightly conversations over wine and snacks is a must attend for everyone. You meet the nicest people from all over the world. If Raymond is cooking one of his world class meals, cancel your reservations you will not want to miss these great evenings. If I could give it 10 stars I would We have stayed 2 or 3 times and make detours on our way to or from anywhere on the east coast just to stop for a few days. Don't waste your time staying anywhere else! You will not be disappointed.
