No complaints, great service! Highly recommended!

Clean, spacious, and excellent staff. Complimentary breakfast was well kept and staff, London and Antionette, were friendly, helpful, and went the extra mile to make you feel genuinely welcome.

We just had a very wonderful experience over Labor Day weekend. Super friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Mary Ann, a housekeeper, was the most wonderful of all. She went so out of her way to make us feel welcome and have a good stay. We can't thank her enough. Special thanks to Renetta too. The rest of the staff was very nice as well. Definitely recommended!

I recommend this hotel! stayed for 2 nights. Very clean and attentive staff. Really easy check in and check out. Complimentary breakfast was good. Fresh fruits and Starbucks coffee.

Just got home from Va Beach area trip and stay in Spring Hill Suites. Cannot say enough about the staff at this hotel. The smiles and friendly nature of the workers we encountered were amazing. What a pleasant stay. In addition to the great staff the hot tub and pool area was nice and the breakfast was tasty and perfect for our needs. Great and affordable hotel!

I am one of two members biking from New York City to Orlando in September to raise funds and awareness for spinal cord injury. Throughout the ride we will be stopping in multiple cities where we are hosting fundraising events. The events will take place at spinal cord injury gyms, craft beer bars, and fitness centers, etc. We are going to include as much of the local community as possible in each city. The inspiration for our ride is my sister, Siobhan, who was involved in a zip lining accident and suffered a spinal cord injury at the C5 level, resulting in quadriplegia. She was studying to be an Irish dancing teacher at the time of the accident and this dream was replaced with a completely new way of life. Siobhan has been battling debilitating nerve and back pain from her injury. We want to give hope to everyone suffering from spinal cord injuries that developments are being made in fields to improve their daily lives. We are writing today in hopes that you will be a part of our journey to bring attention to this cause. We look forward to working with you to unite the community and raise awareness for the people suffering from Spinal Cord Injuries. Because we are doing the ride for charity and fundraising efforts, we are reaching out to see if there is a possibility of offering us a room in Norfolk, Virginia the night of September, 9 2018. This hotel is right off the interstate — close to gas, shopping and food. The check in was quick and easy. The lobby was clean and up to date but The carpet on the hall leading to the rooms was worn and had stains Our Room was clean and spacious, but the toilet would leak with each flush. Maintenance tried to fix, but we ended up putting towels down. The breakfast was delicious — something for everyone — from sausage gravy and biscuits to scrambled eggs and Turkey bacon, bagels, yogurt and fresh fruit. The staff were amazing. Everyone from the front desk, maintenance, to the breakfast crew. This hotel is blessed to have great people working. Work on the upkeep issues and this hotel would get 5 stars.

The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The sweets are clean and spacious. I was especially surprised regarding the amenities of the kitchen and the size of it. For the price, you get a superior product. Obviously, this establishment is not meant to be a luxury resort but it absolutely suffices for basic lodging, if not more. If I go back to Virginia Beach, I will certainly consider this place.

Our family experience went above and beyond any other experience we had at other hotels.

She made sure every comfort was given in our meal preparation; she went as far as coming in to work on her day off to see that every need was met.

This place is great and everyone is so friendly; from Renetta in housekeeping to Lyanna and Chelsea running the front desk. They always great me with a smile. I'm happy to stay here and look forward to my next visit.

I visit this place a couple of times a year with my church. I love that they serve a full breakfast with variety, and it's always fantastic. Rooms are always clean. Staff is always polite.

Room wasn't ready when we got there. Had all the excuses in the world when they weren't. They tried to argue with my Mom about reservation times. On the flipside the rooms themselves were nice, clean, and spacious. At breakfast they told my brother he had to wear shoes to eat but most everyone in the hotel was headed to the beach and was also dressed for it. If it were just the physical hotel I would give it 4 or 5 stars, but the staff made this experience difficult.

Rooms are spacious and neatly set up, the couch can even convert to another bed if needed. The room has a mini fridge and a microwave available for use and complementary coffee is provided.

Recently they’ve replaced or reprogrammed their locks. Someone was given my room key and they entered my room while I was in the shower. I saw the man down the hallway with a suitcase. It took me 15 min to get to the front desk. I was told that I called engineering because my toilet was clogged. I made no such call and the front desk can see what room is calling. Their explanation that engineering was in my room did not make logical sense and their apology blamed me for calling the front desk. I never placed a call my entire stay. I did not feel safe and left the next morning. That morning I stood at the front desk for 20 minutes waiting for the front desk attendant to wake up. I will not stay here again.

The room was nice and large but slightly outdated amenities. There was only one power outlet near the headboards with two plugs. One plugwas being used by the lamp and the other by the alarm clock. If you wanted to charge your phone you would have to find another outlet farther away in the room. I use my phone as an alarm so I like to have it charging close by. The AC in the hall was turned off so it was hot in the hallway on my floor. The cleaning crew needs to do a better job, the outer shower curtain had mildew on it and other minor issues.

Nice place, but wish they extended their breakfast hours. Even the cheap hotels end breakfast by 10:30 or 11 o'clock. This is there only down fall. : (

Clean, friendly. Hot Breakfast was excellent; best huge sausage links. No exhaust fan in bathroom which leaves moister on walls and door after shower. Sofa bed needs new mattress.

Decent hotel for the price. The staff is friendly and the rooms are fairly spacious. The decor is very dated as well as the carpeting and furniture. We found several stains throughout our room that appear fairly old and the shower head was excessively strong.

Kind staff and comfortable clean room. The only downside the highway constructionand the mayhem that causes, nice location and easy to get to.

I do not recommend anyone stay at this establishment because they do not offer customer service. We called and asked for the time breakfast ended and the service desk proceeded to tell us that we were notified at check-in not knowing that we were guests of the initial person who booked several rooms. Then after we ate breakfast, they would not allow us back into our room to shower on the day of our check-out because the cleaning lady cleaned the room as we were eating breakfast at 10 am, although checkout was not until noon. We had to get the supervisor involved to get back into our room. Also, there was a leak in the walls that left the carpet damp and none of the electric plugs by the beds worked, no lights and no alarm clock. There was no reasoning with the supervisors. Steer clear of this place. Please.

Best. Hotel shower. Ever. I've been staying in hotels at least once a month for 19 years, and this hotel has the best shower of any. Amazing water pressure, (even on an the 4th floor) a good adjustable shower head with plenty of hot water.

The American Society of Naval Engineers held the monthly dinner, and the Food was Outstanding, and the service was superb! Very nicely done. However, the PA system could use some assistance.

Sad to say this was not as clean as other SpringHill Suites we've stayed at. It was just shabby. Guest were smoking weed at the front door! No coffee at night; if there was coffee, no creamer. On a positive note, the front desk staff were nice, but the breakfast staffs were wonderful! Especially the little lady who brings out the food and greeted everyone with a big smile. She was so sweet!

I love this hotel. It has good breakfast, amazing staff, and it looks beautiful. There arent many fining options within walking distance but I will always go here!

Front desk person was very nice. That's where the nice ends. We had 2 rooms (203 & 222). The rooms were dirty, had mold, the bed mattress where old. The pictures are a joke. The hotel needs to be renovated. We asked for new rooms and those rooms (602 & 605) where just as bad. Room 602 had a strong chlorine smell that gave me a headache. So we packed up and told the front desk and left. When we left, my husband was not able to get a receipt because they couldn't print out a cancellation. Hopefully we won't get charged. Hotel was a complete disaster!

The service was great from the overnight maintenance fixing the phone with a great attitude at 2am, to the great breakfast service. I can't wait to spend my next visit in Norfolk at the Springhill suites Marriott on Newtown Rd.

I stayed here for 2 nights work related. My room was nice and the bed was comfortable and the continental breakfast was basic bit good. No complaints a good quiet hotel.

Suite was very spacious and clean. Comfortable bed and the room was enjoyable to stay in. Breakfast was honestly not the greatest but it was free and there were definitely items that made it worth coming downstairs.

Very nice and clean hotel. Staff is always polite and greets you, say hi, etc. My room, which was nice sized, had a fridge and dishwasher and microwave. Fairly quiet in the rooms. Hotel also had a pool and hot tub and a small store with snacks. Free breakfast is normal hotel fair. There is a Denny's not more than a hundred feet from the hotel also. Pool could probably stand to be cleaned better after a ton of kids were in it because it was cloudy.

Bed was very comfortable. Slept great. Breakfast was better than most complementary breakfasts. Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly. Also has nice exercise room.

Beautiful hotel, rooms were very clean! They have wonderful customer service with prompt service when you request items to be brought to your room. Also their hot breakfast buffet was really nice. I recommend this hotel to anyone and I will definitely be back for my next visit! They get a 10 for awesomeness from me!

Everything in the area seems very run down. Shares a parking lot with a closed down restaurant which is a little creepy. Carpet/shower didn't seem overwhelmingly clean. Small exercise room with elliptical and weight bench. Small pool and hot tub. Probably was very nice when it first opened.

This hotel maybe the least convenient location I have ever seen. Other than a Denny's there is no place to eat or drink near it. And it has no bar so no beverages for adults anywhere in sight. The rooms are okay and a decent value for what you pay. I give it one star for convenience and three stars for value and quality of the rooms.

My family and I stayed there for a weekend in the summer. Front lobby was fairly modern. Our room amenities/style was in need of a refresh; small television; mediocre room lighting. The pool was "dingy" (my wife's words). The one highlight was the staff — they were courteous and helpful. I wouldn't consider this location a good value for the money.

Comfortable bed and pillows. Some questionable "marks" on the carpet (hence the requirement of flip flops for all hotel visits). Great breakfast selection, although the choice of turkey sausage is highly questionable. Turkey sausage people are generally more picky and probably more prone to making a choice from the granola bar or grabbing a tasty banana for breakfast. One of the two elevators was down in the morning so breakfast with seemingly two large family reunions on site was a little daunting, but neither is the fault of the hotel. Friendly staff. Quality amenities.

The cleanliness was only relatively acceptable and the space a little tight. But we were friends looking for a spot on a budget so I would recommend this to others who want a relatively nice place to sleep on a budget. The layout around the room was a little weird, but it met our basic needs.

Norfolk is a great city. There is plenty of attractions and a large deal of it is in walking distance. Walked to the Nauticus museum from the parking garage downtown, went on a naval cruise, went to the park, and the waterside market. The people there are really friendly. The room was great, two queen beds and a pullout couch. The bathroom was pretty big and the shower was really nice. The room was big enough for 5 people to stay in comfortably for 3 days. It was very clean and no the staff is very friendly, it has pretty good prices too.

I attended a conference at this location. Walking inside, the area was absolutely beautiful and high end. Staff was incredibly polite and helpful. At many hotel conferences I've attended, you so much as look at the free coffee and they yell at you. Here, we we're actually treated like guests, despite not renting a room. Overall, the professionalism and environment was leagues above other hotels I've attended.

Price was fair, but I guess you get what you pay for. We live right down the road, but we stayed at the hotel for the pool and hot tub. Unfortunately they were both disgusting. My sons eyes after being in the pool for 3 minutes were blood shot. I had to walk to the lobby dripping wet to ask for towels two diffeerent times for my family. Then, was told to leave said towel in the pool area, forcing us to walk through the lobby to the elevators and the 5th floor in our bathing suits. At least most The staff was pleasent. There was continental breakfast in the morning, with a variety of items. All in all. I won't waste my money again. It was more of a headache than a relaxation. Darn.

My crew has been staying here for the last month the staff is super friendly and treat us like family. They have great pool and fitness facilities. Is give them 10 stars if I could!

Very nice staff, comfortable bed. The couch isn't great, but it's nice to have a fridge. Standard continental breakfast. Overall, very happy.

I actually didn't stay at this hotel, I was picking somebody up and came into the lobby to grab a cup of tea off the continental breakfast (which looked awesome). The staff was immediately very friendly, and the lobby was very clean and looked newly remodeled. Nothing but good things to say!

Room was in nice shape and beads where comfortable. Staff was nice and friendly and breakfast was great.

Very nice indoor pool and hot tub rooms are nice and service is great.

Dawn and staff set us up and provided all of our special requests effortlessly. All of this during a VA Beach Marathon and St Patrick's Day Weekend. Room, breakfast and service, all superlative.

I stopped in briefly, did not stay as I was not in need of a hotel room, but the front desk attendant was nice.

The rooms are great. The shower is powerful. The breakfast was incredibly varied, but they ran out of regular coffee.

Good hotel. Indoor hotel and fitness room. This hotel is brand new but I walk into the business room I find a old crappy pc running windows Xp and the tower was halfway open. It looks like they got it out of a dump. The room service is nice. But one lady named Kim was OUTSTANDING! She met our every need. Complimentary breakfast. For lunch and dinner their is a bunch of places to eat and delivers right to the hotel.

Pilot here — stay in hotels all over the country. Spring hill suites are usually pretty good. This one was just as good. Free breakfast. Room was nice. Mini fridge and microwave. Just exactly what you expect when open the door. Only gave 4 stars because housekeeping was banging on my door even though, I have "do not disturb" on the door. When I answer, she just yells "room check! ". I yelled back, "Do not disturb! ". But wow the constant knocking on other doors and yelling, is not what I need when I'm trying to rest. Edit: bumped down from 4 to 3 stars. Housekeeping again knocked and came in to my room! I already told front desk we are late check out twice already when my keycard didn't work. Makes sense, she probably wasn't paying attention the first time because second time she couldn't lift her head from her phone to even look at me.
