We had a 3 day stay… The room we got was upstairs nice size room and very clean. Staff was super frindly! Breakfast was ok first day of our stay the second day we woke up a little later and we was S. O. L everything was gone Over all great place we will be staying again our next visit ❤

Everything was as expected. Good bed and room. The breakfast was a little light, but for the price, it was plenty good.

Decent hotel. Not the greatest hotel but reasonably clean and not a bad price. I would consider staying again. The breakfast had a waffle maker and cereal but not a lot else.

My stay here was horrible. I normally never leave a review but my stay here deserves a fair warning for anyone. I checked in and as I entered the room and felt like I stepped into the 80's. I honestly believe the only thing that has been replaced or updated since the. 80's is the tv. I turn the TV on and notice the remote did not work and there was no way to change the channel by the broken remote or the TV itself. Frustration sets in. So I decided to take a nap. I lay down and the springs from the ancient mattresses dig into me. Only a corpse could sleep well on the beds here. I put a do not disturb sign on the door and attempt to sleep. A short time later maintenance was knocking on the door and disturbing wanting to come spot paint the room. Why it was such a necessity to disturb me to paint is beyond my comprehension. Later on in the evening I go outside and people are literally cleaning fish in the parking lot. Those people dumped the remains in the grass out side the entrance to the hallway. The smell was overwhelming by morning. So in the morning I decided to check out of this dump. I called the front desk and informed them I would be checking out as I had booked the room for a longer stay. They said no problem and I left. The next day I noticed I had been charged for more than one night. Even that price was more than the one I was originally quoted.

It was a nice place to stay. Tv wasn't working they came straight up to check it out couldnt fit it so they put us in another room this was at 230am. Very nice people I would recommend this hotel.

Clean motel but a little on the run down side. We brought our dog with us and for a nominal fee were allowed to bring him in the room with us. The beds were clean (I used a black light) as well as the comforters. They gave you three huge pillows per our two double beds. The mattresses were comfortably firm and clean, and we slept well. There were too many plugs in the outlets for the TV and cable (fire hazard). The dryer did not work and made no sound to indicate was getting power. The cable remote did not work to change channels, but we called to desk and they immediately got us a new one. We had to unplug cable from wall, to TV to reset the system and wallah it started back better than ever. The manager was excellent and accomodated us with everything we asked for. The shower was clean, as was the bathroom floor and toilet, but the ceiling of the bathroom had peeling paint, mold and dirt on the exhaust fan and the light. The showerhead was in need of a good vinegar scrub as well, but all in all water was clean, hot, and great pressure. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. You had choice of waffles you make on a machine there, biscuit and gravy, toast, muffins, donuts, cereal, yogurt, bananas, oranges, and appples. The drink options were water, milk, orange juice, and apple juice. It was a comfortable stay and left us refreshed for our journey home. I would recommend for a quick stay with your pet.

Everyone was nice to us. Clean rooms. Easy access to places to eat. I recommend the Days Inn.

Very friendly. Great customer service. Rooms were clean. Not a high end place. But good for what you pay. Decent breakfast.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I just left this hotel (which is s motel)! I arrived approx 645 — 7am, after driving 10 plus hours. My issues started at checkin and continued from that point on. If I did not have to attend an event in a couple of hours and had some sleep I would have found another place to stay for one night! The room was neat in appearance initially. The carpet was dirty, the air/heat system and all vents were DIRTY! The toilet leaked, the refrigator door was broken. No one cleaned the room! When I returned that evening and went to the front desk to get clean towels. The young girl gave me two towels and I said that’s it. I said I need everything, her response was “you just asked for towels”, and when I told that the to had not been cleaned all day her response was “for real”. She finally me a complete set ie bath towels, hand towels and wash clothes. By the way, the items were hard and roug! I did not was wash clothes and just balled up the towel and pat dried enough to get dressed and get the heck out of this DUMP! I have never stayed at a place this bad in my life! DO NOT STAY HERE!

Very helpful staff. Convenient location to Tappahannock and very reasonable rates. Mostly clean except for the used tissue in the room safe and bottle cap under the microwave. Bathroom vent needed and TV should be mounted on wall. Hard to see from the second bed. Would still stay here again.

Recently renovated rooms. Love the breakfast. Well priced.

The lady at the front desk was very nice. This is my second time staying here. Never had a problem.

Stayed here a few years back with my grandma while she was visiting VA. It was very clean, staff was nice and always said good morning during breakfast. They made conversation and it was enjoyable. Had a great stay.

I wished I had taken pictures. Once I received my key I was unable to get into my room. After several attempts we summoned the clerk. She tells us the trick was to pull up on the handle and push. After several more attempts we finally get in. The clerk shows up and says "are you in your room? " Obviously we are as we are standing in it. She goes on to tell us again there's a trick opening it. She takes the key, closes the door and tries to demonstrate. She failed to get in. She makes several more attempts and finally gets onto the room. She jiggles the handle and tells us the clutch is bad and she cannot change rooms as we were part of a large group. Once inside the television comes on but no volume. Even at 100 no sound. We find pubic hairs on the shower walls. The hair dryer falls off the wall. The toilet paper holder comes out of the wall. There were grease stains on the wall. No internet that we could see. The room smelled of smoke despite being a no smoking room. If I had paid for this room I would have gotten my money back and checked out. But since I didn't pay for it and because it was 1 night I dealt with it. Stay away from this place. I'm sure there are violations abound that could cause this place to shut down.

The bed was too hard for me and when I walked in the room, it had a weird smell to it.

Nasty and smelled bad … have multiple flea bites.

Bed bug infestation. Stayed February 4 2016 and was eaten alive and was given another room. Went back because a co worker insisted and found bed bugs in another room co worker found one in his also. Don't stay until treated.

Well to begin our room was absolutely filthy the minute we walked in. Nothing was cleaned there was sticky cup rings on the table from where old drinks were. The drain in the bathroom didnt drain. Bathtub was filthy. Stains on the comforter. And the list goes on. I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone. As per the back seat of my car is 100 times better.

A nice convenient place to relax in. The price is pretty reasonable, the people are friendly, ready to spark a conversation with you. They even announced the breakfast times, highly recommended.

Dead bugs in the corner. Dirt and hair all along the baseboards. The blood on the comforter is when we packed up and left for the Best Western in Warsaw, which for $20 more was CLEAN and SAFE. Unbelievable, like something out of a hooker-slasher movie.
