Nice hotel for having bed bugs. I stay at a few days in through out the United States it's a shame, the hotel offers nothing for this problem u can leave in the middle of the night with no place to go all motels and hotels full this is really a bad deal. I would not recommend this location till the health department clear it. Come to find out that other in the hotel says they have bed bugs too in their room and the management is aware of this problem.

It's a gud place has a Chinese restaurant inside and also a nice big pool for the kids n adults to enjoy. U can cookout on the grill if u like invite a friend. So go ahead n enjoy urself. Customer service has a great attitude they r not rude.

Beds were comfortable room was clean but bathroom was gross… pool wasnt in working order so couldn't use it… overall it wasnt that bad… price was good…

Would not go back to this place. Could not check in until 1hr after the check in time. No towels or shower curtain in the room. Pool green! Computer down when trying to check out. A mess! And no hot breakfast like it said.

I'm laying in bed watching television when I see something out of the corner of my eye moving on the dresser. It was a mouse. One of us had to go and I knew it wasn't going to voluntarily leave so I did.

I know it isn't the Ritz but… stain on office chair, rip in recliner, dingy washcloth, bedside light didn't work, faucet in tub in disrepair. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful.

The beds were extremely comfortable! Good value for the price. Haven't eaten breakfast yet, so can't comment on food yet.

No stars Ughh where should I start… BedBugs ate me alive on 11/17/17 to 11/18/17 woke up with bites all over my back my neck and cheek… this was at 3:30 am and went to the front desk for a refund and the manager for information to report there problem up the chain. I was in rrom 133 started in room 139 but the little refrigerator and microwave had electric problems it’s didnt work pretty much… so we was switch and the nightmare began… so I went to the hospital because I had to wait for my refund until the manager came in at 7am so I get out the hospital and waited in the parking lot until 6:30 when I got a call from front desk that the manager wouldn’t be there until 8am… (to me he didn’t seem very concorned about my situation) well now the second shift clerk has come in and was told what happen to was in shock over the accusations but was really surprised so she proceeded to give me my refund that I thought I had to wait for. Now it’s 8:30 the manger walks in and was very rude… inconsiderate and very unprofessional all he talked about was u hope she doesn’t think we our paying for her insurance when she went to the hospital. Mine you I never said anything about insurance I just wanted my refund and help on what I can do to be reimburse for my belongings that I wasn’t taking home… but I see where his mind was at. Very nice staff here and the rooms were pretty good. We did have a light out in the bathroom but overall the bathroom and room were both clean which is way more important.

Very nice people. Met the new General Manager. Very friendly and concerned about our comfort and experience. Breakfast bar was inclyded and nice. Wish there were bigger cups for coffee but maybe most people dont drink as much of the stuff as I do. Room was comfy and bathrooms were custom tiled. Might could use a more thorough cleaning in the corners and under seat cushions. I heard they will have 24/7 coffee. That is a good thing as coffee appears to be a rare commodity generally in South Hill. I will stay again no problem.

Staying in a room right now. Burn marks in the comforter and a profuse amount of body hair in the showers. It's obvious the cleaning staff cares very little about keeping this place up. Additionally, a lot of the outlets have scorch marks on them or look very old, making me wonder about safety. Finally, not really a fan of location or the very small tv. Would stay here just to get a quick nights sleep and leave, but would never stay here on purpose unless it was last resort. Staying here now because the girlfriend booked it without trying to find someplace better.

There is nothing renovated about this hotel! This hotel is unorganized! After coming in from a children's sports tournament we waited for a hour as we watched other guess recieve room keys to a room that had people sleeping in them! They had booked a room over the phone and the room was giving away. The other guys key didn't work. Our group booked 1500 dollars worth of rooms earlier in the week, to come in after a late night to smoking rooms that were supposed to be non smoking, what seems to be a blood stain on the comforter, and utter chaos. This hotel should be completely shut down. This is a party stop hotel for late night travelers looking to continue there night drinking. The pool is even worse, so cloudy that I wouldn't dare attempt to swim in it. Stay away! While 74.00 dollars seems appealing trust me it's not worth it! As for the breakfast I'll pass…

Rooms were clean, check-in was quick. Everything worked in the room and the staff was great. Just pulled in for a quick nap for a few hours but had to pay for the whole 24. Wish there was a way they could charge less but then you get the riff raff so I get it. Nice place for what it is.

Lisa allow me to know all the places to eat in the area, and informed me time breakfast started. Made me feel as if she gave me the best price. Made me feel right at home, before I had left I was Rollin and Goosebumps. To Miss Lisa thank you so very much.

Our reservation were for a joining rooms but when we arrived we didn't get what we requested. There were stains on the carpet and comforter. The toilet seat had a major crack in it. It appeared as though the glued it back together. The overall hotel building had cracks and things falling from the ceiling. There were bugs in the hotel rooms. The pool water was murky and unclean. The pool furniture was dirty and rusty. The hotel seem as it was a motel and a place where locals live for long periods of time.

Easy access to I-85, Lake Gaston and surrounding area. Check-in area very nicely kept and the woman at the desk was sweet and gave us ideas and directions on places to go (winery). Rooms are clean and well maintained. This is a basic hotel but it does have an outdoor pool. My only reason for 1 less star was due to the other hotel guests. They were not extremely loud but were noisy and the pool area was too crowded to enjoy. Other than that, we were pleased with our stay. It is family friendly, pet friendly, and has smoking rooms. It is not a romantic getaway and doesn't have frills. But the breakfast was included and had waffles, bagels, eggs, sausage, bacon, rolls and an assortment of juices and cold cereal. The staff was very polite and treated us with respect. I would recommend this hotel for Lake Gaston and Lake Kerr community visitors. They are currently being renovated but they are taking care to avoid eye soars.

Worse hotel! I made reservations online the night before for a room with 2 queen size beds. My husband, mother in law and myself were in town for a family reunion. We traveled 4 hours. When we arrived my husband went inside. Instead of getting the room with 2 queen size beds they were going to put all 3 of us in a room with a king size bed. Then they found a room with 2 double beds. Mind you my husband and I aren't small. I went in to talk to them. Their excuse was they don't even have rooms with 2 queen size beds. But they did offer for US to purchase another room. I told them if we knew that they didn't have the 2 queen size beds I wouldn't even booked for that hotel. We left 2 hours after we checked in. I would never stay there again.

Absolutely awful. First thing that happens when we walk into the room is an instant smell of must and Oder. We had to spray the room multiple times with axe to get rid of the smell. Second thing we noticed was that the tub had dirt and grime all around it. Hell, even the faucet was falling off the wall. Thirdly, the beds made us all itch. Really really bad. I've been to multiple hotels and never had an itch like this. After I put my blanket in here and use my pillow, I'm finally able to sleep. I wake up in the morning only to find a bump on the back of my leg, and a bump on my left hands middle finger. ALSO, went to pee in the middle of the night only to find a cockroach like creature roaming around that grimy bathroom. Never go here. Definitely not worth $100 for a two bed a night. You can find a way better place for cheaper. UPDATE: My father and I woke up today with bunps. His way worse than mine. I explained mine so I'm not going to to that again, but his is more of an itchy rash with tiny bunps all over it. So this confirms that they most likely have bed bugs. Should definetly be investigated, and their bed should definitely be washed. The bed had s little thing on it stating that the covers have been washed, but you can reuse them your second day if you'd like. To me, it feels like they never washed them with the smell and itchiness I got from them. I stayed in Room 117 by the way so stay clear from there unless it's magically fixed.

The hotel is actually a motel. My wife and I walked into the room and was met by an immediate smell of stall marijuana. The trash can was turned over. The shampoo and soaps were hazardly tossed onto the vanity. There was no shower curtain and no hooks to have placed it on if it was there. The carpet appeared to be moist. This place states that it has been newly renovated but I believe they missed room 220.

Had to stop for a few hours of sleep during a long drive. The ladies at the registration desk were very friendly. The room was clean and everything was operable.

I always get the best night's sleep every time I stay at the Days Inn hotel the beds are amazing. The breakfast is very good, the rooms are clean and the staff is personable and professional. When I am in town and need a place to stay I always stay here. The price is great! I can't say enough good things. Try it once and you will return again and again. They make you feel like family.

This is basically a dump… solo is ok, but I would advise against a family stay. Descent amenities but service lacks much to be desired!

I agree with everyone else here, this place is a joke! Booked for 2 days, and I got a refund for the second bc I wasn't staying any longer. No Wi-Fi signal at all (even right beside the office), the TV and cable don't work at all, and to top it off the phones don't work so I couldn't even call the front desk to complain! I asked for the supervisor and they gave me some BS excuse that they had been struck by lightning and it missed up their tvs, Internet and phones! STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! Simply put, this place is a shit hole!

I should have slept in the truck. I've stayed in some rathole hotels Inn my travels but never have paid that much for so little. Only one outlet working in the room, horrible Wi-Fi coverage, crappy TV not and cable barely working. Rooms were filthy, and the staff incompetent at best. Avoid this there are better options around you.

If there were a 0 star rating, I would have chose it. The staff at this hotel are ridiculous. It's hard to tell who is the person in charge of things because everyone seems to be the boss here. One of the front desk men is so rude. He just looks at you like your an idiot when you go up there for any reason. They had "special rates" for a certain company that was in the area working. After these men had been staying at this hotel for over 3-4 months, they added an extra $100 to every week payment and used the excuse it was because they were under New management. Who gets the extra money? Management or the owners. Just saying. There are empty rooms with piles of garbage in them, there is no locks on the doors, with wild cats running in and out as they please. There is NO BAR like described on the website, also the continental breakfast is a joke. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, never again.
