Nice, clean, and pleasant employees!
Breakfast was delish.

Hair in bathrooms, hair on lamp shades, red stains on comforter, stains on towels, hair on wash cloth, cobwebs, toilet would not flush, bath tub would not drain, trash can full upon arrival, completely disgusted. Only resolution offered was to keep switching rooms. Do NOT recommend.

This place is very clean. The house keepers do an amazing job amd I admire them for working during a pandemic.

Clean rooms, has a small breakfast restaurant, good price, close to the caverns makes an effort to accommodate yourreuest.

Stayed here for four nights while we were in town for a dukes of hazard event. Staff was great, rooms were clean along with a comfy bed! Very relaxing and quiet stay and will defiantly be staying again when in the area! Also loved the pool. Breakfast staff was wonderful and so friendly!

Location is awesome, close to places but… our room was still dirty. Makeup was in the sink, hair on the bathroom floor and Broken GLASS in the carpet. They ended up giving us another room. So, it was okay. Happy my barefooted child didn't step on the glass.

Modern and updated. Very clean and attached restaurant gives a breakfast discount. Great, friendly staff.

Close for walking to East Main where all the little shops and restaurants are. Nicer looking than the last Quality Inn we stayed at. No free breakfast but they give you a 20% discount for the little place attached (we didn't check it out). Beds are a little harder than I'm use to, but if I was in town again I would stay here again. I would give this a 3.5 if I could but I am rounding up to a 4 to be nice.

We had a very nice experience, room was clean and front desk was friendly enough. Enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant in the morning too.

The motel was very comfortable and the staff was helpful. Breakfast is not free, but they did offer and inexpensive paid breakfast.

Clean room and very good customer service. Best value for the price. It was right near the caverns and you could walk to many good eateries.

I have only been in the restaurant for breakfast as a local but I hear some satisfied conversations with the travelers, the food is delicious and sausage is fresh made locally along with scrapple.

Very very very terrible place to stay this place is not pet friendly this place is a disgusting. The staff are rude and the rooms are nasty. The first room I got had German roaches in it the room I was moved to had been poorly serviced and it was deliberate. I only stayed two nights and thank God that was it. I've never been treated so rudely by the front office and I've stayed in a lot of places but this awful place gets 1 STAR that's all I could give. The food they serve is poorly prepared and is also very very BAD. Stay here if you like finding toe nails and hair inside thr bath rooms! this place is just terrible! never again will I stay here.

If I could give zero stars I would… The manager is rude and nasty and the house keeping staff are lazy they clean rooms only when you ask and they at times just pass you up entirely. They charged me 40 dollars for my small dog. The pool is small and dirty. This place is not pet friendly at all. Btw its run by indians so good luck understanding what there staying.

The room had not been serviced properly between guests and so I arrived to dirty sheets and towels. The bed had been made which indicates the lack of service was deliberate, not an oversight. Inspect your room carefully if you book here.

Descent all around. One problem, one of the housekeepers are a compulsive lair!

Checked in and went into our first room and it smelled of old cigarette smoke. Went back to the front desk and they were extremely nice about moving us. Room was a little dated, but it was clean and you can tell that updates are in process for many parts. Overall, would stay again for the price.

I see that the previous reviews are poor. I hesitantly booked there as I wanted to visit the caverns early. But during my stay I didnt face any issues. I agree it's a old fashioned Inn. But for a 2.5 star hotel what more can we expect. The blankets and sheets are clean. Free Wi-Fi, free parking, free toiletries. 20% discount on food in Restaurant. It's just 3 minute drive away from Luray Caverns.

Convenient place to stay while in Luray. Good value for price. Great Italian restaurant next door. Great restaurant for breakfast inside the hotel. 20% off coupon for those staying at the hotel. Friendly staff.

We stayed at the hotel while visiting skyline drive and the caverns we where really relaxed with the room we had we order room service food it was very good food the way it should be made the front desk lady Jessica was more than nice and helpful we will be back to that hotel again in our future trips.

Jessica, who works at the front desk, is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. No noise from neighbors. The pool was nice. And the location is very convenient for visitors to the caverns.

Location was perfect. Room was nice but could have been a little cleaner, floors definitely needed to be vacuumed better.

The front desk clerk was very nice and answered all questions we had. The hotel room was not the nicest but I did not expect much for the price. This is motel style, so you park right in front of your room. It was exactly what I expected for the price.

For what it is, the best Western is a place to sleep in a small town for cheap. It seems like it's lacking communication and hasn't been repaired or upgraded in a long time. After checking in and going to our room we found it still dirty with trash from the previous customers. The front desk was charming and everyone we spoke to was very accommodating, and it was great to have a place that was pet friendly, but it left a lot to be desired.

The room was okay. The guy was weird when we called. But other than that the staff was friendly and the hotel was clean!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The service, including breakfast, was good as well.

Toilet was dirty when we arrived, had hair and crud all over it, the mirror was smeared with God knows what, and we found a roach on the floor. I am so skeeved out with this hotel and I will NEVER come back here!

Extremely disappointed. For years I have stayed at various Best Western Hotels, enough where I reached “Platinum Elite” status. I recently made a reservation at the Luray Va location, but due to a family emergency I had to cancel, which I called to cancel the same day that I made the reservation. I was told, by the manager (Mika) that since it was out of the 48 hour window she would not cancel. I explained my situation and even asked for a credit that I would stay there within the next 30 days or eat the money for the night’s stay. I was again told that she would not help me. I am extremely disappointed how they treated me and will not stay at another Best Western if I can help it. I understand rules, but when an unanticipated family emergency arises I expected a little more thoughtfulness.

They Stole From Me! I called to cancel a reservation within the cancellation period, but then a few days later I saw that I had been charged the full price of the room. I called back and was told I would have to speak with a manager and the manager was not in — four calls later they were still unable to put me in contact with one. When I finally did call back and reach the manager, John, he essentially told me he thought I was lying and refused to do anything to help me, keeping the money I should have been refunded. It was also pretty insulting to be told that I was making up the whole story, just because I couldn't remember the name of the person I spoke with on the phone the first time.

Stayed there for 2 days. Rooms smell musty and smoked in. Even had bed bugs in the room, got back with bed bug bites. Avoid.

Not much to look at from the outside but spacious and very clean on the inside. Pool was quite nice and staff was very friendly.

Not a bad place to rest your head for the night. Room was clean and beds comfortable, what more could I ask for on a quick road trip to Luray Caverns.

I don't understand the reviews of the Best Western on this website. I stayed a Saturday night recently because a friend was getting married and the reception was at that place across the street that many of you have commented on. My daughter was in the wedding party and stayed in that place across the street. I saw the rooms across the street and they were not as large as the Best Western. My daughter said that the service across the street was awful. She had to check out at 11:00 am even though the reception went on the night before until 2:00 am. I was offered the opportunity to have a late checkout at the Best Western. I don't know what you expect for a Motel in Luray Va. The room was large, clean and the maids and people at the front desk were helpful. Don't believe the reviews on this website, enjoy your stay. Thanks Ed.

I took my family to visit luray late July 2017, staying in this hotel. It is worst best western hotel I had seen. As a BW member, I am so regretful to have stayed here. There were many flies, the room is compresive.

The room felt cheap and while was clean the maintenance could have been better. Overhaul the room is overpriced for what you get.

Saw some bad reviews here but it was really nice.

Found BED BUGS in 3 of the 4 rooms we inspected before finally choosing the last one. Usually you have to lift up the mattress and check between the box spring to find real bed bugs but these ones were also on top of the sheets. All 4 of the rooms smelled horrible but the last one covered it up with some old man cologne that made it bearable. We killed about 4 flies before giving up. The carpets looked as if they were not vacuumed for weeks. We were so mad that I spent $79 for a night at this garbage motel when I could have gone to the mansion across the street for $89 or the other not so bad looking one a few blocks down for $109. I don't want to step on any of the other reviewers toes but the people that said they were "very satisfied" are either the owners trying to make it look good, they may be very dirty people themselves, or perhaps there actually was 1 or 2 good rooms in the entire place. However, based off of the 4 rooms that I did look at, I am calling the health inspector for that area so hopefully nobody catches a disease.

Very satisfied with our room and the location of the motel is great. Good for the price and the restaurant served a nice breakfast at a reasonable price. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. No major complaints and would stay here again.
