The hotel: no coffee access except for limited hours; general stores had barely any stock for food; on grounds restaurant closed; hot tub broken; room so small the door to bathroom couldn’t open all the way.

This is our favorite resort. We enjoy to come in winter or any other season. The cabin are clean and very comfortable.

We took our two grandsons for five days. Our cabin was very clean as were all the amenities such as reception area and laundry facilities. The staff was all caring and friendly. We had no complaints. Only one thing to be aware of — the land line service in the cabins doesn’t work — yet. A long term problem. We have Verizon and T-Mobile. Both worked around the grounds. But T-mobile didn’t work in twin.

We have stayed in cabins and townhouse. Very clean and updated. All you need in kitchen. Sullies are great. Check in very pleasant and extra friendly. Will definitely come back.

We are absolutely in love with the resort. No doubt we will be back to see the baby horses and the other critters. The staff here are very supportive of our service dogs and helped me to identify areas where it would not be safe for him. We are quite happy with the cabins. The one we are in has a great view of the lake.

Loved having access to kayaks and such a nice swimming pool. We stayed in a cabin. Very nice as well.

Pools were beautiful, horses were fun, yurts were so nice and the entire are was beautiful.

We have been coming here for 3 years now, we enjoy the cabins and the privacy they offer. Love the quietness, fishing and relaxing. Horseback riding is fun, they have a putt putt course we have fun playing, it’s a beautiful place.

Incredible! So much for your family to do yet quiet for seniors. We are blown away! Such professional staff too. Really feel as if we are in a resort! Kudos!

I’ve only needing to the Lodge so far, room was nice and clean. Only bad thing is that there’s no place for breakfast or anything besides a pretty basic general store which is more for supplies for the cabins.

Staff is so courteous and willing to go the extra mile. Beautiful country there.

Very spacious, not too far from town if needed. I love the open yurts. Cabins and yurts nestled under the trees are awesome! Nice camp ground for RV's, amenities are nice!

The concrete drive thru pads are great. Nice outdoor kitchens and gas grills. Table and chairs are also provided. A lot of activities for the entire family. Pet friendly.

It is a lovely place, the cabin is quiet and cozy. It is definitely to rest from the city environment.

We stayed in a Grand Yurt that was absolutely wonderful and had great access to the pool!

It’s absolutely beautiful in every season! Great place to get away from it all. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, trail rides or relax by the pool. There is something for everyone. I like the 3 Bedroom Cabin, Open Plan Yurt and Townhouses the Best as far as accommodations. The Wineries, Presidential Homes, DC and Williamsburg are all short drives.

Very lovely place to get away and spend quality time with family. It was relaxing — the staff was friendly and helpful, and the environment was refreshing. However, I am not crazy about the restaurant they have on site. I have never heard that you pay for an entree meal and then pay extra for a side when it is supposed to be a complete meal. For example, no one in their right mind will charge a person a piece of chicken for $14 and pay $7 for rice! It is supposed to come together as an entree meal. Smh. Anyhow the macaroni cheese did not have any cheese or flavor to it. So the family was not pleased with their menu at all. Overall, we will be going back but this time bring our food or go to another restaurant nearby.

If you like nature and quiet and on site activities, then this is a great place! Stables are great and overall staff is also!

This was the worst stay I’ve ever had. Got there and turned the comforter, climbed into bed and it was wet. Smelled it and it was piss! Felt the top of the comforter to see if maybe my 18 month old did it, but it was dry. So idk who’s pee I laid in. They switched me rooms and the next one had bugs all over the ceiling and cobwebs. I made the front desk guy come up and see for himself. He said no one should have signed off on it. Finally got a new room at 12 at night with an 8 year old and 18 month old. They made it seem like it was such a hassle to move me. Rest of the stay was fine until the last night. 5am we are asleep, and all of a sudden the speak on the main phone turns on very loud. I jumped up so it wouldn’t wake the baby and turned it off. Climbed back in bed and 2 mins later it goes off again and then I hear “911”! It had literally called 911 and we were all in bed! I talked to them and said what happened. 30 mins later the cops show up at my door. I’m grateful that they came in case it was some sort of hostage situation but now happy the phone was going nuts. When they knocked, the 18 month old woke up and the next day was a mess. I will never ever book at this property again.

One of the best family vacations I've ever been on. But why the 3? — indoor pool is in poor shape and the water is green — the webiste says indoor washer and dryer. Because of that we packed lightly. When we got here we found out it's only if you're staying in a 3 bedroom. — concierge is not knowledgeable at all. I worked in hotels and your job as a concierge is to tell people how great the area is and what there is to do. "Go to the visitor center on main street' or 'i really am not sure" are not acceptable answers. The visitor center is a 20 minute drive. — Wi-Fi was out due to weather which they can't control and that I understand. But if the expectation is set you have Wi-Fi and are going over how to access it at check in, that's worth a mention.

I love fishing on the lake in my boat. Im usually the only person on the lake but sometimes 1 or 2 other boats are there as well. I was told by sales that I will have unlimited day passes. Found out after that "unlimited" actually is limited by excluding holiday weeks. Today is Saturday but I am not allowed to fish on the empty lake that I have paid to have access to since Wednesday was the fourth of July. Yes, I understand they have resort rules but I have been unsatisfied with the bluegreen company as whole with the lack of transparency.
To review the resort, its just ok. I mainly just come here to fish on a day pass and the fishing is good. We stayed in a cabin once and it wasnt very clean. My wife turned on the jets in the tub and a bunch of hair and other crap came out into the tub. Cabin overall was dirty.

Under impressed by the tiny room and lack of leisure activities. I would not recommend this property and would question any blue green vacation properties before visiting. Not what I was promised and would never purchased here!

This is a beautiful resort. I have really enjoyed everything here even though it is off season in January. Everyone here is a pleasure to talk to.
I love what they have to offer. I came here as a first time ever doing one of these vacation owner presentations. I love getting away and camping. I love the idea that I would not be stuck at only one place every year as a timeshare. The point system and/or the cost to stay at other locations is truly awesome. This is what I want. Not a timeshare. I am not a member here and I am disappointed in that. Being a first timer at this and not knowing anything at all about how this all works I walked away from the table. I recommend that when first timers call in to take advantage of this opportunity that the resort fill them in a little more especially informing new guest that the offer given is only available during the presentation. There is no take two days to talk this over with the family. It is a pay the offered deposit right now or we can't do business. Now I was offered 3 different offers and then another to hold my first offer but I still had to commit right then. Yes maybe I should have done my homework on this but I really wasn't expecting a now or nothing.
That alone is what I am disappointed in. I regret to say that as I told our sales guy today — this type of vacation option is exactly what I want. But I absolutely will not be sold and sign such a commitment after a 2-3 hour presentation for the first time.

Beautiful facility with lots to do BUT the customer service was deplorable. We got one day of our vacation the rest of the time was spent dealing with an accident. No apologies. Our vehicle was struck on site by a resort vehicle and we spent our whole vacation getting the run around. Wr didn't even get to the pool until dinner time of our second day. 8 hour drive for this. Sad. We are even "owners" imagine how they must treat regular vacationers.

So quiet and peaceful. Landscape is beautiful. People that work there are always so nice! Glad I'm an owner.

Absolutely the BEST vacation I've ever had! Not only was it absolutely stunning, but there were plenty of activities: horseback riding, pool, hot tubs, bbq, arts and crafts, mini golf, etc. DEFINITELY A PLACE TO GO! I will be returning for sure.

I didn't spend too much time on grounds due to site seeing but our yurt was fine. It being Autumn, the Acorns were following like crazy and each time they hit the roof it sounded like a gun going off. Beautiful and quiet area though otherwise. There's two pools, mini golf, and horseback riding on the property as well.

This resort would have been ok but I will tell you what I did not like. I needed Internet access and a cell phone as it was a working vacation. They did say it was available. No problem we would just check out. We planned on staying just 3 days. We had to check out after 1 night. The told me there was no problem and would sign me out. We were using trip points from Coast to Coast. They did not sign me out and charged me for 3 nights. As far as I am concerned I was robbed. How can you charge someone if they do not stay there.

We made a reservation through bass pro shop. They asked if we wanted to upgrade for $100 and get a hot tub on sight husband said yes, so he paid the $100 and when we get there we don't have the hot tub, husband called office they said hot tubs are for members only and connected him with bass pro shop 40 minutes later they finally tell him that all the hot tubs are broke. That was lie 1. then when we do our little meeting told them they wanted paper and said they would fix it and move us. After the meeting husband asked for paperwork back and they said nothing they could do I think it was because we didn't buy into the resorts, that was lie I know it was a lie because people that were across from us signed up with bass pro also and had a hot tub on their site. The gas grill was very disgusting, was not cleaned at all. The sites are not even close to being level. Had to put boards under camper to raise one side around 3 to 4 inches. Over all it is a nice campground but don't like being lied to.

My husband and I got married at Shenandoah Crossing Resort in front of the Manor House (built in the 1700's) and behind a lake on May 3, 2014. It was the most incredible venue for our big day! During the just over year and a half time period that we were planning our wedding, the resort brought on different event coordinators. Each time there was a change, the management at the venue set us completely at ease. They were very easily accessible, and eager to ensure you and your guests have an amazing time. And the food was DELICIOUS! I have nothing but positive things to say about this venue, and I'll continue to recommend them to friends and family.
