Places is super nasty…

It looks nice plus they were nice after driving almost ten hours to let us check in early.

The room had a very strong mildew smell. Between the smell and the loud party noises at 3am, I got very little sleep.

This is the WORST hotel ever. The so called manager is terrible, rude and cannot do anything without having to call the GM. They just enter your room no knocking or calling. I booked 4 days and left day 2.

Location was right off the highway and easy to access. Desk was staffed late at night, with lemonade and cookies available in the lobby. Room was clean, quiet and cool. It was great for an overnight stop on a road trip.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND For a “PRESIDENTIAL SUITE “ was he was mold in the shower and the toilet clogged after ten minutes of being there. This hotel need some serious updates.

Staff was friendly. Bed was a little uncomfortable. Theres a firness center in the hotel and a Huttle House next door. Groceries and any other store you need within 3-4 miles.

Location is not the best. Could be cleaner. I believe there were bedbugs. I also had a bug crawling on the sheets. I would not recommend staying at this location ever!

My wife and I love staying at Holiday Inns, for the clean rooms and free breakfast. This Holiday Inn was a little less refined than what we are used too. Upon check in the receptionist was distracted. The room had an open bar soap in the tub. Other than those things it was okay.

We've used this hotel for years for special events (weddings, funerals, etc. ) and for out of town guests/speakers. We have generally had good experiences with them. Recently they've changed management and the customer service has been awful to the point of being very rude and disrespectful to us for a mistake that they've admittedly made with billing. Very disappointed but will definitely be looking for new lodging provider.

Clean hotel, free breakfast assortment of breakfast foods. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. — — — — — — — bad part Had very hard time sleeping other guests were noisy,, banging on walls,,,, slamming doors,,,, thumping around the floor being very inconsiderate of other people.

The room itself was very nice. Big and spacious as advertised. Although the room appeared clean, when I pulled down the covers, there was hair in my bed. Called the front desk for new sheets, was asked to come get them myself. At the front desk, I was given a bundle (not even really folded) of sheets. I was given the wrong size fitted sheet, which also had hair on it and the flat sheet had some kind of grease stain on it. Continental breakfast was available the next morning, but I didn't have any.

Nice hotel, good Wi-Fi, friendly staff, and convenient location.

The room big and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower was hot with a great stream of water. The staff was professional and friendly. My only complaint: the Wi-Fi on the second floor by the elevator connected, but that's it. It never actually transmitted any data.

I was very pleased with my stay rhe rooms are clean and smell nice the free Wi-Fi was fast there were plenty of extras like on brand "bath and body works" shampoo and conditioner nice towels and the free breakfest well its the best free breakfest everything fresh.

Pretty nice place, halls needed vacuumed. Dinner and breakfast are on par. Service is great, they do have a strict 2 limit alcohol beverage policy.

Great place to stay for my son's wedding weekend. Our family​ was together for the first time in a while. Would be a top score but checkout was tough. I couldn't get into my room since maintenance was needed on the lock. When I went back to the desk the manager acted like she was waiting on me. Downside for an otherwise great weekend.

My room is in front of the pool outside and my kids can't wait to get in. I have a nice king size bed and a sofa pull out bed. The lamp by the bed has a port to plug in your phone and any other electronic. The TV has over a 100 Channels. There's no safe but it's a very big room for the 3 of us. I'm happy I came here. Wish it was closer to the military base in fort Lee then 25mins.

Right next to a waffle House and some fast food places which was perfect for our road trip. Breakfast is included and was biscuits, bacon, sausage, sausage gravy, eggs and a pancake machine, along with the regular Continental fare. Service was good, rooms were clean and had a fridge and microwave.

Very clean. Staff is friendly and efficient. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

It's not super fancy, but it's clean, comfortable and a great value. This is the Petersburg location and it's as nice as any other. Breakfast was great and all the standard amenities were present.

This was the Petersburg location, and got a room on the 2nd floor. It was a pleasant stay; everything was clean, everything worked, and it smelled nice. The continental breakfast was well-equipped and nice. It's a little more than some econo lodged, but it was a good stay and I felt refreshed after.

Very friendly staff, the front desk will go the extra mile if you need help with phone calls, finding additional info, they are so knowledgeable which is a huge help for me since I wasn't familiar with the area. The hotel was very well kept. The breakfast buffet is actually HOT like they mentioned when I checked & With REAL food! Hopefully they are consistent with the type of service I received during m stay. Will definitely return.

Nice hotel. The room was clean, the sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was good also. It is a fine place to stay while passing through. If not for the 4am wake-up call that we did not request I would give the place 5 stars.

The moment I walk in, I see the carpet wasn't vacuumed, other guests' room keys have been left, along with used shampoo, soap, body puff… AND a trash can FULL of complimentary breakfast foods. UGH! For the price, this totally sucks. Can't believe after driving 150 miles, this is what had to be settled for.

So I am only giving this hotel 2 stars due to the fact the staff was very nice, Jamonica is the young lady that reserved our room over the phone, She was very pleasant. As well as the manager who checked us in. I don't remember her name. But other then that this hotel was disgusting. Even though it's non smoking it still had a lingering smell. We were gone most of the day so when we returned to our room that night to get ready for bed after we showered we laud down istantly the next morning when we pulled back the covers I noticed a stain on the sheets which looked like blood. That was circled in pen that read gross. Which let's me know the sheets (not the top blanket) hadn't been washed at all since the last person slept there, or who knows how long. Me and my kids slept in the bed. There father who couldn't get comfy in bed with our kids decided to pull out the pullout bed, and I will be damned if there wasn't a freakin poop stain or something similar on the blankets for that. Which leads me to think this hotel is disgusting, I gagged walking out of there, I told the cleaning crew, who srated someone was trying to be funny. Nah yall just nasty and I'm now convinced yall trying to give your guest bed bugs or sum mess. Either way will never stay here again!

Checked in late and immediately went to our non-smoking room. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. We were too tired to make a deal out of it, so we just hopped in bed. Slept for about 30 minutes until the AC started acting up, sounding like its sawing wood… And too add fuel to the fire, the toilet leaked, so we would hear that refill every 15-20mins. Woke up the next morning with a full blown sinus infection from the smoke in the room. Worst stay ever.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Dinwiddie / Petersburg last night and it was absolutely great. It started at check in even though I was early at 9am the staff welcomed me and checked me in. Candice the sales manager invited me over to the breakfast room to have breakfast even though I really should not be eligible till the next morning. What a great experience cant wait to stop in again and have some more hot cinnamon rolls.

This hotel is wonderful. They have the friendliest staff and up-to-date property. The front desk was courteous and so helpful. It really shows that they love there job. Plus, they left a free water bottle and cookies in my room which was a major plus for me. Thank you for a wonderful stay and thank you for making me feel like a valued customer! I will be back!

Staff is very rude! Bed looks like it was found at a yard sell! They have not followed any other hotel, all furniture and fixtures outdated, worn and broke down! Carpet is new and very nice as is the lobby. Will not return to this particular hotel!

I stay at a lot of hotels and must say the Manager at this hotel is one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. Stay away from the woman with the black and white beehive hair due… Best policy here is dont stay at this HIExpress and if you have and had a bad experience call HI and complain while it's not a corperate hotel maybe they will deflag the hotel. I did have good luck with the HI in Colonial Hights.
