Stayed here for several days with my husband that was here on business. Very nice hotel within walking distance to a lot of great places to eat and shopping. The staff is great I absolutely loved Alison and Tyler. I did not care much for Tina don’t get me wrong she was accommodating, nice and pleasant but she has that over friendly over a pleasant way that is kind of nauseating and fake but accommodating nonetheless. Their breakfast was great I was so surprised to see fresh pressed juice and fresh smoothies every morning very nice Hampton Inn!

The room is very spacious the staff are very friendly. Overall the hotel is awesome!

The staff was not very pleasant when checking in.

Clean comfortable rooms. Nice pool and an excellent breakfast. Near train tracks however they are not too noisy.

Had s great time at this Hotel and shopping was right there. Don't have to go too far for whatever you wanted to eat.

It was comfortable & clean. But there is a train that runs behind the hotel. You hear the train but it sounds like it's raining hard outside. If you are a light sleeper the hotel does offer earplugs.

Very cozy for its location! I thought it'd be noisy given its located near train tracks, but it was quite quiet. Great food was within walking distance too.

This is the hotel my work place, Camping World, booked for my visit. I will be back again next week to work and requested that they made the same reservations. I had an ac issue and within 4 min. They had me moved into another room. The breakfast was wonderful as well as the staff. Im looking forward to my week stay come Monday.

A nice hotel located by several shopping and food options. Good breakfast and nice rooms! I would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast terrible! No potatoes. Bacon not crispy. Pastries still half frozen and stale. Cookies not baked slimy inside. Room has a freight train outside and they offer you ear plugs in the bathroom. They don't tell you about the train when you book! Beware!

The Room: Had a suite and it was lovely. It had two rooms a big one and a smaller one. The smaller one had a nice roomy bathroom, queen sized bed, and a desk. The bigger room, which was closed off by a door, had two queen sized beds, a pull out couch, a recliner, and a decent bathroom. The Hotel: This hotel is beautiful itself. It come with a pool, gym, computer area, and a decent chill area. The Food: The breakfast here is amazing. The days I were there I enjoyed their waffles. Overral: Definitely a nice place would recommend.

This hotel was in a great location and good service. The only negative is they did not share that the breakfast ended at 10 am and it was not great the second day… very pre fab.

Wasn't there for long because I was there for a wedding but from what I could experience, it was a very nice lobby with friendly staff. Room was pretty standard, nothing too but fancy, would recommend it to friends and family.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Location is very convenient as well with restraunts and shopping very close by.

A very standar Hampton Inn. Be aware, there is a railroad just on the side of the hotel!

Rooms were clean, staff very friendly, great location to restaurants. Only downside are the trains that go by in the middle of the night. Always ask for a room farthest away from the trains.

Rooms are nice, staff is somewhat friendly, only reasoning didn't get 5 stars is because it backs right up to a railroad which my room happened to be right by.

This was a very nice reasonably priced place to stay when we went to a concert at the venue Jiffy Lube Live which was the Nissan Pavilion. We enjoyed the stay and the hot breakfast was very good. The room was very clean. The staff was very nice.

Hotel is clean; Breakfast is ok; Be mindful hotel is near a train track, train comes through during night several times and can be pretty noisy depending on room location; hotel has placed ear plugs in the room; however we didn't see this until the next day; if room was in different location I would say overall experience was good; Great location for shopping and dining.

Newer location which was really nice. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I've experienced at other Hampton properties. Freight train track adjacent to the hotel, but the building blocks most of the sound. Adjacent to several commercial areas, which make dining options plentiful and easy.

The location of the hotel was excellent, with anything you might need was within a short drive. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was polite and helpful.

The room are very clean and roomy. The staff is friendly and informative. A great location and always consistent.

Nice hotel for the price in a great location. Local to a bunch of stores and restaurants which is hard to find in that area. The room was kept clean but the bathroom floor was sticky my entire stay. I had to keep shoes on the entire time. The first night I was up scrubbing my feet. Besides that, the room is kepy tidy and everyone is nice!

Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is a lack of cameras in the parking lot. Otherwise, staff is great, room was clean. What I've come to expect from Hampton.

Great location. Nice, updated rooms. Decent, free breakfast. Please be aware that this hotel is right off of a major road and has a train back running near. Earplugs are provided, but if you are a light sleeper you may want to pass on this location.

Think a Bride-To-Be getting stuck on the elevator with bridal party the day of the wedding is cliché? Well it happened to me… Pulling off the perfect wedding is already stressful enough, but when the bride and her bridesmaids and make-up artist gets stuck on an elevator… well you can imagine we start to panic and get emotional! We checked in to Hampton Inn Gainesville VA on Friday Aug 26th. And the morning of my wedding after enjoying a delicious breakfast, we head up to start on hair and make-up. But wait we aren't moving. The panic, frustrations, and emotions start to take over. Within 5 min the lights and A/C go out and the front desk person tells us to calm down and they are going to call a "tech" and they'll be in route. After 20-30min, the fire dept arrives and starts to pry open the elevator doors. Nothing happens! What a nightmare… Finally after an hour of being trapped with NO A/C or lights, we are pulled out from the top elevator panel and climb up a ladder.
We are finally safe and sound… but really behind schedule. The manager on duty calls and apologies… but the anxiety and emotions were too much for me to deal with at that moment! The day of check — out, Sunday August 28th, my husband and I check out only to be surprised that we are still being charged for a 1-night stay. This is ridiculous! I am so disappointed and upset with Hampton Inn — the Asst GM Tim Harps lacks complete customer service.

I'm giving this review before I even get my room and I don't think there is anything that can happen to change my review. We booked this hotel about 5 months ago for a wedding that is in about 20 mins from now. We got here about 55 mins ago to check in. Apparently, this hotel had a wedding party last night and another today. They completely booked their hotel for yesterday and the whole of this weekend and have known about such reservations for months. The proactive thing to do would be to have additional staff to assist with such a busy weekend. They did not. I think I can speak for everyone in the lobby here, that the wait times to get a room today is ridiculous. Check in starts at 3 officially and most hotels let you check in earlier. It is 346 and no rooms for me and my wife along with a whole lobby full of people. The estimated wait time is still 45 mins away. Needless to say, after tonight, I will never consider this hotel again. I'd sooner sleep in my car and skip the shower the following day than go through this BS again.

Clean and updated. Wasn't treated like a diamond member. It's a decent Hampton Inn but I'll see what else is around next time.

Rented meeting space for party. Very professional and helpful with all aspects from beginning to end. Sweet staff and very accommodating. Thank you for the hospitality.

Room was clean and ready when we arrived. Trains are passing by right next to the hotel but they provide complimentary ear plugs. Breakfast is goooood!

Great staff. I had a problem with my bill. They were on top of it right away. Things were correct in just a couple of hrs. Great breakfast. Lots of choices & not the same thing every day.

The freight train is loud! Period. Don't bother with this place. I would have gotten better sleep in my car.

We enjoyed our over night stay. Rooms were very nice. Hotel is in a very nice area with plenty of shops and places to eat. We travel a lot and always try to stay at Hampton Inns. They never disappoint.

Great place… inside pool. Business center. Complementary breakfast… clean place. Do make sure there are no tournaments when you make the reservation… cost more.

Stayed here over the weekend. Loved the cleanliness of the room! They even wash the duvet cover. The whole room felt very fresh and clean. Loved the updated bathroom, too. It was very nicely appointed. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was your normal, quite adequate, continental breakfast. We were well aware of the train after reading about it on the reviews. The whistle lasted what seemed about 2 whole seconds and didn't bother us at all. However, we always sleep with a fan on at home so we had the fan turned on in addition to the heat. That might have muffled the whistle somewhat. So if you think the train might disturb you just let the fan run at night and you will barely hear the train!
