Not recommended to anyone. Room was ok but smelled. Staff was very nice and helpful as much as they could. Building was dirty and loud. Was very dusty and filthy. Ice machines were in disrepair. Web site says there is a laundry facility but was not true. Would not stay here again.

My family and I stayed at the inn for two nights. The rooms were clean and the staff gave us five star service. We needed to change rooms twice due to curtains not closing and bathroom door not closing. So do visit the inn in Farmsville Va. Don't hold the staff accountable for items they can't change.

This place need some love, the rooms are ancient and not the cleanest, they are apparently in the middle of renovating but jone of our rooms were new. I'll start with the good: the staff was very nice and helpful and the complimentary breakfast was actually pretty good: fruit, cereal, eggs, ham, toast, bagels, a variety of pastries, the doughnuts were somewhat hard, but who cares about them when you can make your own waffles. The coffee machine is working 24/7 and they have an outside pool that's clean. Now the bad part: we had 3 rooms, 2 in the bottom floor and 1on the top floor. The first thing you notice when you walk in the rooms is a gym-locker room stench, the decor is dated, the carpet is filthy, our bathroom was in undiscribably bad condition, and to top it off the sheets on both beds had stains.

Nice, the employees very attentive.

Clean, convenient to nearby restaurants/stores, friendly staff, and good Wi-Fi.

Lousy service. Made no accomodations for bumping my daughter & myself out of our confirmed and pre-paid room.

This last visit was terrible : (trash in the garbage can, dog food all over the floor, hair on the sheets and something brown and clumpy on the wall. The evening desk clerk was kind enough to get me a new room. Upon first inspection it looked better. But then behind the bathroom door there was a dirty towel. And a used washcloth hung over the shower head. And the shower! So small you couldn't turn around in it and ZERO hot water. When I spoke to the front desk in the morning they said They would relay it to the manager but as far as the freezing AM shower they said yes it had been that way since the remodel! Why put someone in that room then?!?!?!? I was very upset and displeased. I had spent several nights at the hotel during my stay in farmville but will now be looking elsewhere.

Well we had a lady bug infestation and stains on our walls, floors, and bed sheets. It took 5 minutes of listening to the desk staff talk about personal issues while I was at the desk to check out. The shower was a solid 28" square in the interior so I definitely didn't have room to bend over and clean my legs and feet. I have stayed 4+ times and it leaves more to be desired every time. I was glad to get home and feel better after waking up rather than like I had slept on a lumpy rock all night.

As the song says, "Just Walk On By". Do not stay here. The hallways had a strong masking odor that was hard on the senses. What are they hiding? Better with a neutral, "Ferbreeze-type" product. It really was awful. Did not enter into the room. Tub was bad. It may have been clean but the caulk and trim job was unprofessional. There were also black spots (mold) on the caulk and trim.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, clean sheets, comfortable beds, no funny smells, rooms have a mini fridge and microwave. All the lights work, pretty good breakfast.

Awful experience. Very out dated, not very clean, and a lot of the furniture was falling apart in the room. Not impressed at all, never want to come back again. Workers however were friendly.

Bed bugs! You get what you pay for. When first coming into bathroom a couple bugs crawled across floor. Then While falling asleep I felt something crawling on me! Turned lights on and looked to find Bed Bugs! Immediately packed my belongings and checked out. Staff put request in to refund money with no argument and money went back on my card a couple days later. I should have checked reviews! I've learned my lesson and I hope you read this before you waste your time at this hotel!

Very nice and clean rooms. Beds are comfortable. Staff is excellent and very eager to help. Breakfast was delicious and would stay here again.

Better than expected! Clean room, friendly service and a breakfast that included all you can eat bacon. Who could ask for more. :-)

The staff was courteous, professional and friendly. They made my mom and I feel very welcome. We had a double on ground floor and our room was very, very clean, spacious and everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We would definitely stay again. Guest August 2017

Outside looks sketchy. But the rooms are nice and clean. Front desk lady was nice and pleasant. Breakfast was suprisngly good for a quality inn. No elevator so if stairs are hard for you ask to be placed on first floor. Plenty of parking and a big gravel lot attached for trucks and RVs. All in all good stay.

Not a bad hotel in Farmville. Given the other options it is the second best one in the town limits. Polite staff and adequate rooms.

Disappointed. Hotel is old but has been upgraded some. The grounds reminded me of an older 18 wheeler parking lot. Nightly cost was way more than it should have been. Double at least. Not a nice place. However, staff were friendly and helpful. Only reason for two stars. To me, some of the other reviews seem to be professionally written to upgrade the review rating. Read them and you'll see what I mean.

Most of the lights were out in my room, and the room itself was nothing great for the price, but the staff was friendly and competent.

This hotel was the absolute worst. The rooms were disgusting. There were ants on the breakfast bar. There was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke first thing in the morning. Our air vent seemed to be falling out of the window. You could see clear into our room from the outside. We will NEVER stay there again!

Very courteous staff. Clean and quiet. Most of all nice night of sleep. Thanks Jasmine for all you help with reservations.

The bed was hard as a rock! Could have slept better in the car. No housekeeping service, no clean towels, had to go ask for them. I will NEVER stay here again and wouldn't recommend for anybody to stay at.

Check in was quick and easy & room is in good condition. Exhaust fan in room needs service too noisy bed linens were clean but mattress was a little hard. This is the 3rd time I've stayed at this Comfort Inn and I've only had one bad stay but this stay was the best.

Stayed there with a group during the 150th anniversary of Lee's surrender to Grant. Some issues with room reservation/getting into rooms/computer down. No manager on site & front desk person was just filling in! She did her best under very trying conditions, and the hotel made it right! A HUGE positive: best night sleep ever in a hotel. Extremely comfortable bed & pillows! That means a lot when traveling!

I am a smoker and it was great to find a hotel with a smoking room and not feel like I am committing a crime! Older but clean room, good location, comfortable bed with lots of pillows. Only downfall is Wi-Fi is too slow. Not sure if its hotel or internet company? But great stay.
