During our visit I only had one major problem with the hotel. I will explain that problem first and then I will talk about all the good! I had stayed the first night and went the next morning for the continental breakfast that they offer and did not wear a mask. During check in I did not wear a mask and even when I locked myself out of my room I did not wear a mask to go get another card key. Then the second morning which was our check out day as I was leaving the breakfast area after getting my food I was approached by an older man (not sure if he was the owner or an employee) that I had seen several times upon going into the dining area walking around with a piece of paper maybe taking inventory or something that had no mask at all on any of the times that I seen him and tell me the next time I came in I needed to wear a mask! How can you ask someone to wear a mask when you yourself are not wearing one, so I checked out by phoning the office to let them know I was not coming in to check out because I do not own a mask nor do I have any intention of wearing one. Other than that our stay was very good. All employees were great, housekeeping did a great job of providing clean rooms. All amenities were great. Although our room did have a very pungent smell of mildew and they had several air fresheners around the room to try and help the smell but it was extremely strong! I would highly recommend they get new carpet because it kept a wet feel to it and I’m sure that would help the smell of the room as well.
