Sea Shell Motel Motel

We have been staying at the Sea Shell for years now. It is by far my families favorite place to stay. It's clean, cute, the staff is friendly, the rooms are spacious… I could go on and on. Great job Sea Shell!

We checked out yesterday. Nothing but good things to say about the cleanliness of the rooms and the helpfulness of the staff. This was our second visit this summer.

Very very very clean and homey! We will def stay here again! We had a very bad experience with another hotel earlier this week and checked out and came to the Sea Shell hotel and was very pleased!

Our family has staying with Sea Shell Motel for over 15 years. We always have a nice stay and it's a little off the beaten path. It's wonderful to have a big house for our whole family and access to a pool!

This is a very friendly family owned motel. When we arrived the front desk staff told us the guest before us had flooded the room we were to stay in. Therefore the owners had upgraded us to a cottage. This was very lovely. It was our first real vacation together and my birthday was in this week also so it made it even more special. Talk about beautiful. Everything envolved was great. From the staff to the cottage to the island itself. We will definitely be going to the island and the hotel again. The upgraded cottage sold us for our next visit. We won't bother with a room just the cottage again. There was a family member who lived in a house next door. She makes the BEST honey I have ever ate. She also gave me some sand dollars n wished me a happy birthday. This warmed my heart even more for this wonderful family owned business!

Best. Motel. Ever. Incredible customer service, very clean rooms, and the best location on the island. Just a block or two from island's down town and close to the beach. I will never stay anywhere else in the area.

Excellent service! Owners are amazing and go above and beyond! We rented a cottage and was perfect for us! 4 adults and 1 child.

This is the only place I've ever stayed on Chincoteague Island. It's off the main drag so it's quiet but it's still only a block away from Main St. And a decent walk from Maddox Blvd. The rooms are modern, and clean. The staff are super friendly and the owners are probably the nicest people on the planet! AND the prices are good. Never had anything but an excellent experience at this place.

The Sea Shell Motel has nice quite atmosphere with friendly staff. When your there you find your self sitting out side of your room talking to your Neighbors. It is like stepping back 40 years to a simpler time, but with modern rooms.

We stayed at Sea Shell Motel June 9-June 14, 2018. Very nice place. Beautiful landscaping around the hotel. Rooms recently renovated. We really liked having the little kitchen in the room too. The Wi-Fi was great. Grocery store, restaurants, shops and movie theater all within walking distance from hotel. This would be a great place for a family reunion because of the outdoor space they designed. Lots of places to gather. Highly recommend Sea Shell Motel.

We have stayed there a few times now to extend our stay on the island a day or two after checking out of other week long vacation rentals. Very nice motel with a lovely pool, friendly staff, and clean rooms. Our room came well quipped with a small efficiency kitchen too, and it was just a motel room. We were very pleased, and the price was a bargain too considering what other properties were charging. The prices are consistent with the “budget” properties on the island, but the quality is much better than those!
