We were ever so grateful to have this hotel. The service was wonderful, the food was yummy, the housekeeping was superb! Not the fanciest of hotels, but we weren't looking for super fancy. It was just right! We even needed to cut our visit short, due to our plans changing, but they were more than willing to work with us. We are every so grateful!

Breakfast was alright but by no means impressive, staff was pretty friendly. Hotel solicits tips for housekeeping, first time we've actually encountered that. The outdoor pool needed cleaning. Wasn't bad to the point where it couldn't be used, which we did use it, but the water had a moderate amount of stuff in it.

Very nice room for the price! The staff is very helpful. Looking forward to staying there again. Take your bike.

Cheap but clean rooms. Breakfast could use some more fruit. Location was nice between Zion and St. George.

This review is for their customer service. A day before my stay on April 12th I submitted a "free" cancellation request. Emailed them they never responded. I ended up calling them requesting to cancel the guy said no problem we can do that. Cancellation was never submitted they ended up charging my card a no show fee of over 100 dollars. Now they are denying they ever said that will never stay here or book through the same website again keep those 100 dollars. If only you guys were good and keeping up with your word and emails as you are as good as charging people.

I booked it for halt at night while on my way to Zion national park. Got the room for a fairly teasonable price and was not expecting much for the price I paid. I was really surprised and impressed by the cleanliness and the tidiness of the rooms. I stayed there with my wife and 7 year old son. Would definitely recommend it.

This "hotel" is the worst of the worst. As soon as we got to our rooms the beds were hard as a rock. The TV had to be set up as if it had never been used before. We tried calling the front desk to come and fix it, but all they kept saying was to press Enter on the remote. Really?!? That alone gives this place one star. Not to mention there wasn't even a button that said the word Enter. We dealt with that issue but it took us 10 minutes to figure it out. After waking up the next day, I went over to the continental breakfast. The only options to choose from were yogurt, hard boiled eggs, waffles, juice and coffee. And those were the only things you could get. There were three 2-person tables, so even if the breakfast was good and the options weren't scarce, than not a lot of people could enjoy it. This has to be the worst hotel I have been to. Ever.

Meh. It's a super 8. You get what you pay for. Although there is a funky smell kind of smells like a rest home. But appears clean. It's sufficient.

I broke down on the freeway with 3 kids. The gentleman at the front desk had very poor customer service skills. He acted like my presence as a paying customer was an inconvenience. Then, he gave me a rate that was $20 more than the rate on their website The room overwhelmingly reeked of chemicals. Bleach and something else. No way to open a window and vent the room. Otherwise, the room was just ok. Definitely not worth the rate they charge. I would not stay again.

Pretty simple but friendly welcome. Nice pool after a day of sightseeing.

The location is great. It's very convenient to get to Sand Hollow, Zion National Park, Snow Canyon and many more outdoor adventure places. The breakfast was decent it had cereal, waffles, toast, hard boiled eggs, orange juice and apple juice. Unfortunately, those are the only things good about this place. The room smelt terrible… horribly terrible. It definitely smelt like smoke (even though the door had a no smoking sign). It also smelt like something was rotting and mold. The rooms weren't very clean. There were mystery specs of brown on the walls of the bathroom and after sleeping in the beds I was very itchy. The outlets (if you could find one) seemed to have a short in them often causing the TV to shut off. The walls are thin… you'll hear everything the people in the rooms next to you are doing… everything. So if you decide to stay here just set your expectations accordingly.

Can't beat it for the price. Rooms look recently renovated. Mostly clean. Front desk friendly. I would definitely stay again, great value.

I booked the room that morning. I arrived just before midnight. I had no problem with the room. However the TV didn't work and I found out it wasn't plugged in. Then the cable didn't work and found that that wasn't plugged in either. There were tools and maintenance supplies in one of the dresser drawers. There was a knocking noise on a wall as if someone was chipping golf balls against it on the other side. For a last minute booking it was inexpensive.

So, where do you start… I guess with the first things. 1. The office smelled like a litter box. 2. The price of the room was high for what you got. 3. Middle of the night the heater face fell off. 4. We tried to put it back on and found it was in 3 pieces and did not want to stay on. 5. At 6:30 in the morning doors started squeaking and doors started slamming upstairs and next door. It was not my best experience… after all I am used to staying at decent places Hyatt Place.

This place is decent for a night, but not a week. Pros: lots of hot water, fridge, microwave, new flooring in the room I stayed in, nice art of Zion NP in rooms, and plenty of parking. Cons: mold in the bathroom, evidence of water damage on bathroom door jam, electrical issues (can't use the microwave and fridge at the same time without possibly causing an electrical fire or popping a fuse), breakfast is just a waffle maker and some cold cereal, thin walls, some doors appear kicked in, my dead bolt handle fell out of the door, and the noise. The noise was the worst, with a door at the end of the room block beeping incessantly some days and a loud "Eeeeeeeeeeeee" coming from a nearby building that you can hear in the rooms. Overall, if you need a quick and cheap place to stay, here is not the worst, though I would only recommend one night.

Pleasantly surprised. Super clean comfortable with a friendly helpful staff. What more can you ask of a budget friendly hotel.

Everything was fine. Except one Thing. Everywhere air fresheres… The smell was nothing for me. The breakfast was better then in many other locations I was. It was clean and I had a new fridge and microwave.

Room OK, clean but a little smelly at first by the air conditioner.

We were in town one night to see friends. Our friends warned us about this place. They're on the bedbug registry. If that wasn't enough of a scare — When I voiced my concerns to the manager he started yelling and calling me a liar in front of other customers waiting. I simply told him what we had found online. We went to another hotel and called his corporate customer service. They called and he told them he'd refund half the night but we had to come back. When I arrived back the next morning he said he wouldn't refund me because I had called corporate to complain. And he'd only give a refund if I cancelled the complaint. I called corporate to tell them he was trying to coerce me into rescind my complaint and if they could call him right then. They refused and said I couldnt cancel anyways. I told him what they said and he told me I was out of luck and I needed to leave. Sarcastically — the best customer service ever at a dirty hotel that is double the cost of the other roach motels in Hurricane. Save yourself the headache and taking home bed bugs and stay in St George (short drive) for less. We stayed at Days in for $40 less and received markedly better service.

Lives up to Super 8 standards. Room was fine except overhead lights did not work. Not in the best neighborhood but I had no problems.

Let's face it, there is nothing super about it. What you get is reasonably price clean basic room. Nothing fancy here. With breathtaking beauty of Zion, I don't care about the luxury of lodging. It's close to Zion, Cheap, easy to check in, and motivates you to spend least amount of time in the room, which is exactly what you want, because outside, wonders of Zion are waiting for you.

We were looking for a base to visit Zion National Park for a couple of days. The Super 8 Hurricane was reasonably priced, so we booked it. It was ok for the little time we spent there since we were at the park all day. They do have a pool but we never used it, though kids seemed to be enjoying it. One bed was pretty good, the other one was quite worn out, but we only needed one, so that wasn't a problem. They have updated the decor as much as possible for an aging motel. It was clean if not inspiring. It was further to Zion then I would have liked. The drive was about 1/2 hour For a budget motel it was acceptable. I did wish the breakfast opened earlier. Leaving at 6-6:30am for the park, we were never able to get any breakfast. Breakfast starts at 6:30 but even then coffee was not always ready. .

This Super 8 is fairly typical of the chain. The room was nice and clean with the usual amenities and the morning breakfast was typical as well. No surprises here and sometimes, that's a good thing.

It's a good place for an affordable price. Nothing fancy. The beds are comfortable. The Wi-Fi and cable are really nice features. The Wi-Fi signal has been strong and we enjoyed the HBO channel. The breakfast is coffee, fruit, cereal, toast, or a waffle. No eggs or meat. No yogurt or pastries or juice. The rooms are ok. Could use some updates. The bathrooms are fine, although ours looked to have some mold maybe. Overall, it has working AC, a working shower, and comfortable beds to sleep on. The area feels safe and is conveniently located near gas stations, restaurants, and Zion National park.

The. Worst. Wyndham. Chain. I. Ever. Book. I did a lot of road trip with my family and I have an infant. Up until now, we always use wyndham because it is comfortable and nice. Because of that, I am a platinum member. And, up until now, I never have problem with every room I book, even though sometimes the hot water wasn't working or the housekeeper didn't clean up our room even though we asked to. Until I stay in this room. So here's my story: We arrived late at 00.10 from Bryce National Park and decided to stay at Hurricane so we can continue our journey to Zion in the morning. The innkeeper gave me a room in the second floor but I asked to have a room in the first floor because we have so many belongings (we're on our 40 days road trip with our 14 months daughter). He gave me the room while whining a little bit and I'm okay with that, perhaps he's just sleepy. The problem starts from here. When we came to the room, the door was broken. The handle was loosen like the picture. We thought, even though it's loosen like that, we can still open the door. Turn out it wasn't the case. So I came back again to the lobby and complained. He said it shouldn't be broken. I said yes it is, if it isn't broken, I wouldn't complain. Then he came to the room and complained it shouldn't broken because he checked it after the housekeeper cleaned it. And he SCOLDED me and BLAMED me, told me that I lied to him, that I was the one who broke the door. What? It's f**king 00.

Makes a great Basecamp for people who plan to spend the entire day at Zion so fancy lodgings are not necessary. The rooms are newly remodeled and very nice. The only reason I don't give them five stars is because the free breakfast is really chintzy. We ended up eating somewhere else for breakfast each day and I saw others who did the same.

If you're looking for a great Hotel near Zion National Park look no further. Only about 25 minutes from the park entrance this hotel is clean, has comfortable beds, an excellent well-maintained pool. The breakfast is very good the staff is extremely kind and helpful. Located close too many excellent restaurants. Hurricane is a nice city but the real draw is Zion National Park.

Standard Motel placed not too bad compared to Zion (you close, more rates are rising), kind trampoline beds (watch your feet, there are metal bars hidden at the base of the bed and when we next pass too close, it can be very painful) not very comfortable, cleanliness not at the top, extremely noisy (prepare your earplugs) Toilet in the shower, not ideal when you're family, Wi — Fi at 11Mbps measured at 6 in the morning, fridge, microwave, rates with interesting children. Beware, for lovers of sunset in the parks, it is impossible to find a restaurant open after 10 pm in the corner (of course get there well before 10 pm for a chance be served) except the fast usual food chains that should naturally be avoided with care. A great solution is to pick up a few groceries at the Lin's nearby supermarket that stays open until 11 pm, unlike Europe, all prices are exclusive of tax (this is not unique to this facility) of course (the consumer protection is variable geometry) and we have still not found the exact reason…

Not great but can't complain for the price. However, complimentary breakfast was pretty pitiful.

It was OK. If you need a cheap room, you've got it at the Super 8. The manager was nice and accommodating, but the room itself was smelly and breakfast in the morning was very scant and the dining area is very small. The management send nice and is trying to be on the ball, but it wasn't my favorite place to stay.

Traveled with family around May 2014 to visit Zion National Park. Good: * Short-ish drive to Zion National Park Bad: * Free breakfast is a joke really — mostly sugary stuff with little to no seating area * Uncomfortable beds Ugly: * Bed bugs!

Cheap place to stay but you pay for what you get. The room was dirty and could smell mold. The carpet by the bathroom was mysteriously wet. Couldn't get any sleep because the beds were extremely uncomfortable.

We were staying here for two nights and it was a pretty good price for this clean and big room we had. The continetal breakfast was good as well. The Wifi was also great and around 72Mbs. The pool was clean and the stuff very nice and helpful. We'll stay here again. :) We're happy and thankful…

Just stayed there a week ago. I would give it a 3.5 stars. It did the job. Don't expect the Ritz but the place was decent enough, the bedding was really comfortable, the room was clean, wireless worked. I got lucky I guess. After a day hiking at Zion it hit the spot. Plus, I stayed at the Shalimar in Vegas the night before and this seemed like heaven.

Dirty and smelly. Wi-Fi not working. Try somewhere else.

DONT STAY HERE, spend a few extra $ and save your sanity and possibly your life.

I would rate three stars if the cockroach was not a factor.

My wife and I, sat in the lobby for an hour we are in fact still in the lobby and the clerk went back to sleep or something? instead of checking on the 15 minuet reservation, I work at a motel and this customer service would get me fired.

It looks like most of the bad reviews are from a very long time ago. I stayed there the night of April 23, 2014 in room 221. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rate was low (about $40). The internet speed was great at about 8 Mbps.

Family n I arrived at the early hours of the morning. Receptionist was no where to be found even after calling. Rooms are decent for the price. However maids try comming to clean the room even with a do not disturb sign hanging on the door at 9 am. Check out time however is 11am. When it was check out time receptionist was no where to be found again due to her taking a shower so we had to wait. Rooms are good for price but customer services could be worked on.

Not recommended unless you are charged less than $50/night. Despite the bad reviews, I wanted to give Super 8 at Hurricane a try, the only use I have for hotels while on a trip is as base camp, just need a good shower and a good bed where to sleep. Super 8 forgot to clean our room on the second night, we did not have enough towels, A/C is loud, taking a shower is a challenge as water temperature varies widely from scorching hot to freezing cold. On the good side, location is good, in the middle of Hurricane, close to Zion National park.
