Just beautiful and friendly staff!

This resort was a mixed bag: the scenery, restaurants, and overall vibe were amazing; the service was generally fantastic; BUT…the mattress and pillows in our room were terrible (2 nights of tossing and turning), and the front desk clerk was completely unbothered by the dead mouse we came across in our room (one that had clearly been there for several days). I get that rodents are inevitable in the woods, but to leave sticky traps out and NOT CHECK THEM in guest areas is truly shocking. The clerk just took a note and didn’t even apologize, and it honestly kind of soured our overall experience.

It was the perfect long weekend getaway. My suite had everything I needed and more. The food at the Owl Bar was delicious. The front desk staff were extremely helpful. Will definitely be back!

Amazing location and gorgeous mountains, Sundance is truly one of a kind!

Beautiful property but dated room. Very disappointed with the front desk. I asked for a late checkout the day prior to my departure. The friendly person I spoke with looked up my room and said there would not be a problem. The next day, my departure date, I was told that I did not have a late departure note in their system and they would not honor the late departure. What a cluster. The experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I will not return and will not recommend this property.

We love this place, the staff was great and very friendly. Breathtaking views all around and the food was amazing too. We are definitely coming back!

Wonderful resort, with a friendly atmosphere, set in beautiful surroundings. It is clear that the founder took care to preserve nature and advocate for the arts! Many activities for everyone and friendly engaging staff!

Came for the free Live concert on the lawn and stayed for dinner in the Foundry Grill. They were clearly short staff but still delivered an amazing meal. Definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful experience all the way around! Gabby and Olivia were great instructors. We had a smaller group of 3, so the experience was more genuine. Time flew by and we had tons of fun! Thank you again Gabby and Olivia!

Where do I begin? The staff, the rooms, the food, the scenery, the art studio were all AWE/mazing. I even dropped my phone, in the public lodge restroom (ewwww, right? ) BUT it was so pristine, I worried not at all. The art instructors were ALL super friendly, helpful and encouraging. Even the employees of OWL Bar were A+. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I’ve been skiing here for over 30 years. I’ve seen changes (good ones and not-so-good ones) and can say without reservation that I love this place. There are bigger ski areas with more terrain and more lifts (and bigger crowds) but this place just feels homey and comfortable to me. Every time I come back I remember why it’s one of my favorite places…not just to ski, but of the places I’ve ever been on the planet. I’ve been privileged to introduce Sundance to my wife and then, later, to my kids. I have so many memories here, both on and off the slopes. We tell everyone who will listen what a special place this is! We hope they agree.

I’m not one to write reviews, but Sundance deserves 5 stars! Their hospitality is the best I’ve seen. They go above and beyond to make your stay top notch. It is an adorable property and there’s something for everyone. Highly recommend and will visit again!

Lovely suite, and friendly staff! The stay was slightly marred by the suite having only a full-size bed, not the queen/king that was promised.

Went snow boarding with family for our first time. We payed for lessons, and had an amazing time. All of the staff here where very friendly and helpful. The instructors were amazing and we can't wait to plan another trip to this beautiful reaort!

It was spacious with more beds than we could fill and no expense spared on decor. It was like getting to live in a spa resort for a 5 day glorious reprieve! The massages we all had (7women) were the best any of us have had. The chef who cooked dinner and breakfast prepared 5 star tapas to die for. Our adventurous thirst was quenched with atv’s and next time we will inner tube down the river which was so refreshing when we dipped our toes off the guided raft. We loved the magical swing area with a waterfall and hanging lights. Lastly the hiking was so beautiful with many deer sightings captured on our walks. Finally discovered that Stewart Drive goes in a perfect hiking circle and right next to the ski lift! Loved loved loved our perfect girls trip vacation. We were hoping to get to hang with “Bob” at the Foundry but will have to catch him next time :) Thanks for a great experience!

It is a wonderful place to visit. If the breathtaking views are not enough the chance to get outside and stretch your legs on great well marked paths followed by a wonderful chance to grab a drink or really good food at either the deli the foundry or getting some snacks at the owl bar. Great staff and marketing for Sundance Resort and Utah tourism. Sundance is so beautiful and breathtaking.

Sundance is my happy place. Stayed this past weekend and brought my mom. One of my favorite things is the Owl Bar when they have live music and Michelle Moonshine Trio was amazing on Friday. There are no photos or video allowed in the Owl Bar — not even selfies… which I love because it reminds you that you don’t need your phone out to have a good evening. Not everything needs to be documented. Only having the memory makes it that much more intimate. That’s the beauty of Sundance and the spaces it has created — something for everyone. It’s where I go to find peace and let my mind be still.

Great Orvis fly fishing guides. Went today with Jace and he got me on some nice trout.

Last year we decided to try riding at Sundance and Ashley did a great job. The horses were wonderful and the scenery was beautiful! This year we came back and I booked a early morning ride and it was even better. I had the opportunity to go on a ride with Kat who was also wonderful! We could hear elk bugle in the valley and we got to see two. Also deer moving about. I got done with my first 2 hour ride and Kat went out of her way to take me out on the one hour trail. What a beautiful way to spend the day on amazing horses and great guide/company. I’ll be back again next year for year number 3. Thank you!

Love everything about this place. The tree room is our anniversary favorite! It has great concerts and events. Skiing is great too. All year long our family enjoys this place.

I was recently at Sundance celebrating my Birthday. We had a lovely dinner at the Tree Room, followed by being verbally accosted by an employee at the Owl bar. I was simply doing something I had done countless times… taking a ‘selfie’ with a few friends, when a Sundance employee SCREAMED from across the bar, ”NO PHOTOS! ” You would have thought I was murdering someone in the corner the way this employee screamed at me. Not a normal reaction to someone taking their own photo. It was beyond over the top. I was then approached by another employee, who spoke in a normal tone and simply said, ”No photos. ” When asked why, the response given was, ”Well, there’s a lot of guys who come up here to cheat on their wives so… no photos. ” I found this response to be beyond offensive! The vast majority of people going to the Owl Bar are there to have a drink with some friends, and simply enjoy themselves… maybe even take a few photos, normal things. So to have a policy in place catering to such a small group of people, and for such a seedy reason is simply unacceptable. The way I was treated, as well as the reasoning behind the “no photos” policy are bottom of the barrel types of behavior, and quite simply, unbecoming of Sundance. This is a family resort, and for many of us, like a second home! I expect to be treated with respect, as well as attending an establishment whose policies I find respectful. The latter not being so.

Come and stay in the most beautiful Mountains. The cabins are wonderful and the food at both the Foundry Grill and the Tree Room is fantastic! Your walks in Nature will calm your soul and ground your heart physically and mentally. You will love Sundance.

Attended concert series last year. What an amazing venue. Dress warm.

I love the tram ride over the mountains, and the beautiful pond in the middle of the outlying reception and meeting buildings. The old, rustic shops for lunch, beers, and visiting. I love everything about Sundance. It's a favorite of mine. ❤

How I would describe the Sundance Mountain Resort is peaceful, awe inspiring, and just delightful. One of my favorite places in Utah.

Wonderful Resort with amazing views. Definitely on the smaller side when it comes to skiing but that limits the number of people that are up there. Usually has great snow fun mountain biking in the summer and lots of other activities throughout the year. Love taking the chairlift ride and the zip tour is amazing. Well worth the money. Lots of other things to do including a summer outdoor theater another events at the theater throughout the year.

Very over rated. They are typically overly packed with people and understaffed. We tried to go for a night ride on the ski lifts during the full moon and it was like a 1.5 hour wait to get on the lift… Needless to say we didn't stay. Parking was atrocious as well… We had to park way up the hill and make a 15 minute walk down to the lifts just to find out the wait was that long… So a half hour round trip wasted, and that was all because they didn't have anyone to help us get some quick information at the front… Again… Severely understaffed. I am still giving it three stars because it is a beautiful location and I have been on hikes in the area that are quite nice.

Sunday Summer Get Away 2018/Date Night with my husband was perfect. This is the 2nd time we have attempted to head up the mountain on the lift. Last time it was closed due to a nearby fire (for safety reasons). This time we could only go up the first lift because we arrived too late. On that note: I would suggest you visit their website for any up-to-date information on weather conditions and closures. When we came back down the mountain the sun was beginning to set and a live band was jamming in the grassy area right at the lift enter/exit area. Tons of people had chairs and blankets set up for this FREE concert! They had a food truck (with drinks and alcohol) there but we missed it and went into the dining building to get a sandwich (WHICH WAS SO BIG WE SPLIT IT! ). The beer wasn't cold (enough) and it was a hot day. I didn't notice if you were allowed to bring your own food in, people were doing it. Dogs were on leash and allowed to be there to enjoy the concert as well there were little ones running around enjoying the perfect weather and soft grass. Pack a blanket and pillow to really enjoy this place! We'll be back — what a perfect date night.

Great place to go for mountain biking but it's expensive. Plenty of other trails around the area are free you just have to be willing to do some uphill biking. If you're looking for straight downhill then this a great place to go. Most trails are moderate difficultly but there are some expert trails and a handful of jumps. If you have full suspension there's a lot you can do but also plenty to do with a hard tail. Beautiful views on Archie's loop.

The hospitality of the staff was incredible and far superior to other resorts I have visited. Our accommodations were very unique and comfortable, and the food was delicious, especially breakfast at The Foundry! Three staff members in particular made our experience especially memorable: Morgan (our zip line guide), Christian at The Foundry and Nicolle at The General Store. Thanks for a wonderful visit!

Sundance Mountain resort was a wonderful experience. We went up for the opening night of Oklahoma and enjoyed a little shopping wonderful dinner and a great baked goods snack bar. There are also day activities like zip lines and hiking. From start to finish here is what to expect. — drive up is simple, you are directed the whole way. There are three parking areas they direct you upwards as each fills and you take a shuttle to the venue location. The waits typically not long getting into the venue from your parking lot. — When you arrive you can visit a few of the shops that include a little food restaurant, Sundance shop and a casual spot to eat. You board a tractor trailer that takes you up a hill to the play. — The play is located on a steep mountain side and accommodates seating on wood benches that have a very rough back, these seats are assigned. I recommend bringing a small seat bench you can pick up at Costco as the seating isn’t that comfortable without it. — There is also seating on the grass hill that is first come first serve it fills very quickly and the spots are not large and are most comfortable for a group of 4-5, the ticket you buy designates where you will sit. — After the show, you need to get to your car. You can hike depending on where you are parked or you can try and get on the transport provided. It will take 2x as long waiting for their transport or you can hike a steep steep mountainside and get to the upper and middle parking.

FULL MOON LIFT RIDE — Just perfection. Fires and seats to enjoy before or after the lift ride. Food service available for a hot chocolate and a snack. Easy in and out even though it is packed with others whom love the mountains, trees, stars, full moon and fires. All employee's are happy and helpful.

We were, unfortunately only there for one night. But, oh, how we love Sundance! Gorgeous, cozy, welcoming, friendly and classy! Just our style. And every staff member was a true gem. Our zip-line tour was a blast! Thank you for making my guy’s birthday a true delight! ♥️

Although I went this resort to attend an event, I had enough information to accurately describe this resort to its fullest potential. The resort was amazing, it blended well with the nature that surrounded it, and even added man made structures, which, helped cement its beauty. The employees were amazing and were very helpful when asked questions. The hotel inside, looked very nice and complemented the outside of the resort.

The resort was very nice. The staff was very kind and the scenery was beautiful. We had a great time and we look forward to returning. Our mattress in our room was not great but that's about the only thing we disliked during our stay.

Today at 2:00 we tried to go to the Foundry Grill at Sundance. We had our dog with us, but we had seen dogs at Sundance, and a Google search revealed “Dogs are welcome at Sundance Mountain Resort but must be supervised and remain on a leash at all times. You must clean up after your dog while on Resort property. However, your dog cannot accompany you on the zip lines and dogs are not permitted on the lifts. ” We thought that we could either sit with her on the patio or get our… food to go and sit somewhere that was dog-friendly if dogs weren’t allowed on the patio. Before taking our dog out of the car, I went up to talk to the hostess. I explained our situation, and I was told that dogs weren’t allowed on the patio and only lodge guests could take food to go. My husband and I are both VIP Season Pass Holder’s, so I hoped that there might be some sort of exception made. I don’t really see—and the hostess couldn’t explain—why non lodge guests can’t get food to go. Upon explaining to the hostess that we were VIP Season Pass Holder’s and asking if she could help me figure out a solution, she replied “Oh what an honor” in a very sarcastic tone. I was completely shocked that she would speak to me like that. I couldn’t believe that in a minute exchange where I had been very polite and professional, that an employee at Sundance would behave so unprofessionally. I expected better at Sundance. Very disappointed.

My wife won a trip to come here. It was amazing! We even saw Robert Redford in the Owl Bar (they ask you not to take photos). Great food, hospitable staff, beautiful accommodations, and amazing scenery. I don't think we would have chosen to go here if it wasn't all expenses paid but I didn't regret coming. Go see Stewart Falls in the warm months.

It's a great place! We just did the chair lifts up to the very top. The views were spectacular. The costs seemed a little high at first, but after all was said and done, we all agreed that it was very well worth it!

Not only is this resort incredibly gorgeous and family friendly, but the hospitality team is top shelf. I've worked with several resorts to schedule a medium size (25 people) offsite company visit and was completely blown away by the difference in customer service. Sundance Resort 100% has my professional and personal business purely for this reason.

This place is absolutely fantastic. It is an extremely well run and thought out resort. The personnel are very well trained an care deeply about the customer experience. The food at the facilities is also superior, whether it’s a burger, or a fancier dish. There are a large number of kids there at times. They seem very happy with their experience. There is a nice waterfall hike one can take using the tram to get up high, then hiking downhill. Moderate difficulty. Beautiful and relaxing, a great change from the experience in Moab and the brutally hot National Parks. The cabin we enjoyed was quiet and very well decorated. 100 percent immaculate. We paid approximately $300 a night and it was a good deal for what you get. We’d love to find time to enjoy it again.

It's a spectacularly beautiful place in the summer. The service is quite good. We found all the lift operators to be friendly and courteous. Like most ski resorts you're pretty surprised with how high the prices are.

I attended a three-day retreat here for the second time in May 2018, and had a great time. It's a gorgeous conference venue with a relaxed atmosphere and great food from a Forbes 4-starred kitchen. One of the conference activities was a quick two-hour jaunt to the Provo River for some fly fishing, which was in addition to a full day of guided fishing I'd booked previously. I cannot say enough good things about their on-site guide service, which recently obtained an Orvis endorsement; Brian Wimmer is the Sundance Fly Fishing Ambassador, and I had John Patching for the two-hour session, and a full eight-hour day with Clarence Beavers. They're top-flight professionals who really know their business. Clarence was very patient as I got used to the "Provo Bounce Rig" combining mayfly and sowbug patterns on a weighted nymphing arrangement, and we started pulling quite a large number of browns and rainbows right away. It was a really great day on the river, and can't recommend it highly enough. Bonus: On my last evening there, Robert Redford himself made an appearance in the Owl Bar; he looks great!

Sundance is a smaller resort, but their culture is amazing. It is a great family resort. Service has always been pretty good, although sometimes you can tell that they are hiring teenagers/college students. Overall, we love Sundance.

We absolutely LOVE Sundance Mountain Resort! Whether we're looking for an unforgettably tasteful dining experience, awesome recreational activities, luxury mountain accommodations (Mandan 24 is our favorite cottage — very private), a relaxing spa treatment, a variety of cultural and entertainment options, or simply to "get away from the hustle and bustle, " we have found it all at Sundance! We come back again and again. It is our get-away destination of choice.

Sundance needs high speed lifts, I am happy they are only 30 years behind and got quad chairs. But the lifts are so slow you get less runs in per day than anywhere. I do love that it's small, low key, and not wall to wall in people. But can't I have it all? Fast lifts and still no people?

Love Sundance! My husband and I have come here ever year for our anniversary weekend (22 years), stay in the same cabin and have never been disappointed. Food beyond excellent in Foundry and Tree Room, staff always professional, friendly and helpful. Year around, plenty of activities for all ages. We go in low season which is perfect for us as we love the quite, slow pace. Hiking is great, views beyond beautiful! Treat yourself, you won't be disappointed!

The staff has treated us very well and we have enjoyed learning to ski thanks to them and their well equipped local.

Very nice Resort that has a lovely atmosphere in the mountains. For skiing, it is small but has good routes for those who start and the average skill.

Great resort especially if you live in the valley. I find the runs fun and enjoyable. The back mountain has plenty of trails and if you want to avoid the longer lines head to the back mountain. I have only experienced the winter season so I can't comment on the summer season.

Love this place. We come once or twice a week during the ski season. And although less frequently, we still visit regularly during the school summer. Staff are great. Food is great (especially the Owl Bar, Foundry Grill, and Tree Room). Vibe and ambiance are excellent. On certain holidays (especially when getting a big storm), it can get crowded. But most days, we ski with hardly a wait at all at the chair.

Day guest, snow was decent but turned icy in the afternoon. They manage the lines well despite the low number of available chair lifts at the base. I love the accessibility of this canyon and resort, it was very easy to get in and out at the busy hours. Pricing is high vs. Superior local alternatives. Overall a thumbs up experience, however.

Beautiful place! Well groomed slopes and a lot of trail options. It was our first time here and we will definitely come back. There was a stream outside of our room and the scenery all around was just beautiful. Friendly staff as well! We loved the food at all places available at the resort and great music at The Owl Bar. Really enjoyed everything being close together and all within a few minutes walk from our room. There is something for everyone here! We really enjoyed our stay.

I love everything about Sundance. Everything from the art studios to the slopes feels thoughtful and well crafted. The staff is always exceptionally welcoming, and every space holds a special cozy vibe as if it is your very own mountain retreat. The owl bar always warms after a day skiing, or cheers after a particularly rough day. And, unfortunately, I can say from personal experience, ski patrol is one incredible crew. Sundance in my backyard might be one of the greatest things about living in the beerhive state.

First time skiing for the kids and first time in 25 years for me. Amazing experience. Great ski and snowboard instructors (Sammy was awesome! ) made all the difference in quickly getting us to the point where we could navigate the mountain on our own. Staff were courteous, efficient and professional and went out of their way to make sure we had a smooth and enjoyable first experience. We've already purchased our next day passes to get back up. Can't wait!

So min Toempo at Sundance wasn't super good because I had to go to the hospital.

I went here for skiing, and depsite the unfortunately little amount of snow this season of the trails that are open, the snow quality is decent for early season conditions and the people there are very helpful. However, I hope we can get some more snow, because only having 5 trails open isn't as fun as 45. Nevertheless very convenient location for Provo area along with having a free bus route with my season pass.

I went to Sundance to ski at night with my wife and mother. It was the first time for my wife and we taught her how to do it. I like what you can ski at night for those who have no experience but I like the resorts to the north more.

My wife and I visit Sundance every summer to see a play at their outdoor theater, and we've NEVER been disappointed! We have gone 5 years in a row, and we don't plan on stopping anytime soon. From this we've learned about other things, and have actually come up twice now to ride the ski lifts during the Halloween season to see the light displays that they put up. This is very fun as well, and we really enjoy cuddling up on the cool fall night as we ride up the mountain in the dark!

Went for a day of early-season slopes. Roads leading to the resort were maintained and easy to drive. Plenty of friendly, respecting, and knowledgeable staff in the parking lot and throughout the resort to help whenever I needed it. Public restrooms were clean. Overall a fun day and great experience.

Stayed in the off season so the rates were great. The resort is beautiful and peaceful. Just what I needed for a couple of days of relaxation. Definitely rustic. Don't think you are getting the high end of luxury — but it's very comfortable. They could use to update the appliances (especially the microwaves…) and it would be nice if they had a way to deliver basic groceries or a more varied menu for room service. The on-site deli and restaurants are really good, but the closest market is in Orem which is not around the corner. Staff was super friendly and helpful — they clearly love their jobs.

Visited the Tree room for the first time. Definitely lives up to the hype. Food was great. Atmosphere was incredible. We were able to dine on the patio in late summer. Sundance is beautiful at that time of year. Highly recommended.

Love this place! I just got done having my work Christmas party in one of their meeting rooms. The building overlooked a tiny pond which was absolutely gorgeous. It was at night and they had small lights strung about while I was being encircled by mountains. It seemed almost magical. I will absolutely be going back again!

I love Sundance. The place is beautiful and you feel away from everything. The amenities and staff are top notch. During my stay we had a problem with the oven, but after we called, there was a technician here within minutes to fix it. Highly recommend staying here!

I did the Zip Line. It was INCREDIBLE! The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. I felt very safe in their hands. The views are beautiful. There is even a part where you are allowed to stop mid-zipline and take pictures.

I've been an avid skier and snowboarder most of my life. It's the Adrenalin rush, the thrill of being in quite outdoors rushing down a snowy mountain. But that's all I really did, never checked out the lodges. Several years ago, the place I work at took all the top sellers of the month up here for a weekend. What a mini-vacation that was. Luxury for sure! Recently I took my wife up here and we stayed the weekend. Nothing has changed. The same 5-star experience!

What a destination. They have something for everyone. Great food, adventures, relaxation, and views galore. I came for a conference, but can't wait to being the kids back. Even zip lining in the winter over the snow they told us.

Planned a weekend for a global group of friends. From reservations to checkout, all was wonderful despite pouring rain, early snow, and cold. Staff team is terrific — empowered to help. This place is amazing! Where else can you have such a beautiful outdoor experience and also participate in a concert? The backdrop has pine trees, which fill the air with lovely scents. I love the outdoor fireplaces and benches for people to sit around and talk in the evenings. September is definitely a beautiful time to be there before it's too cold, and when a fire still feels good at night.

We took our kids up the mountain on the lifts and hiked back down to the car. Was a beautiful day and the mountain was in amazing condition. All staff that we came in contact with were helpful and friendly. All the trails are clearly marked with Signs and it was easy to know where to go next. I had no idea how many biking trails they have as well. Next time we will bring up our mountain bikes. Beautiful place to spend an afternoon with the family.

We went to the Alpine Loop Road. We stop at Sundance to buy some candy from the store there.

Gorgeous! I highly recommend the two chair lift ride to the summit where you can view breath-taking sights in the summer! Even my husband and mother who are afraid of heights rode and said it was completely worth it. Also, the Sundance Sunday brunch is INCREDIBLE! Best brunch buffet I've ever had. Hands down. Take your date or family there for a special occasion and sit on the patio outside for a memorable, and delicious, morning. I'll be going back again and again to Sundance!

We were in the area and decided to visit Sundance for fun. It's very beautiful. There are all kinds of activities to do as mountain biking and zipplining but we didn't have much time to do any of that so we walked and visited the shops.

We went for brunch at Foundry Grill — everything went very well.

We went to the bar to have some dinner. The food was pretty good and they were very hospitable. The bar had a very casual atmosphere. The resort is a great place to go and hang out.

The Music Man was quite enjoyable! Each performer did can excellent job with their character. The sound balance was off when they sang with the instrumental track, it was hard to hear the vocalists. But the overall show and atmosphere was wonderful.

Visit to see a production of "The Music Man. "I love that theatre.

I went to the Zip Tour there. Excellent service and facilities.

People operating the lift in the summer time were very friendly. I didn't do the zipline, but it looked very impressive and fun. We ate at the bear claw lodge which was nice with good food — the food wasn't super impressive, but it was tasty and good for being on top of a mountain.

It was legit. Loved everything. It was just so amazing. It reminded me of Sundance Mountain Resort. It was like the best. Oh my goodness!

We went in the Barclaw zip tour and it was AMAZING! One of the coolest things we've ever done. The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. The views were spectacular. I can't wait to come back and do it again!.

My wife and I took the Bear Claw zipline tour. We had a great morning. There staff were friendly and skilled in checking out equipment and training is how to use it. They answered all our questions and made is comfortable with how to ride the zipline. The ride up on the lift and then down was a lot of fun with beautiful views of Mount Timpanogos and the Sundance Resort. We rented a GoPro and now we have some great video of the adventure. I highly recommend this.

My friends and I came to Sundance to go on the zip lining tour. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't very cooperative and it rained during most of the excursion. Despite every other group cancelling, we decided to go ahead and zip line. The tour guides were very accommodating and gave us special treatment because we were the only group participating. They drove us up the mountain instead of using the lifts which weren't operating. The views and overall experience were awesome. Dave and Luke were awesome guides and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone!

I went up for a chairlift ride with my girlfriend. I was able to find very good parking. Besides a little bit of debris that fell on me during the ride at the top of the first lift, which caused a little nervousness on my part, I would have to say everything was very nice. There had been rain the previous day, so everything was exceptionally green. It was beautiful.

We had a day of skiing, and visited the deli for some snackies.

Loved the skiing, reasonably priced and great snow.

Had a work conference at the resort. The conference rooms were nice. We used our own A/V equipment and didn't have any issues. The provided meals were tasty, though the beffet table wasn't always restocked as quickly as I would have liked. The staff was great about clearing snow around the lodges and meeting rooms. Less so around the cabins (river run specifically), but nothing too bad.

The rooms were super close to the mountain and very well kept! Picture place for a family get together!

The wait for ski rentals was atrocious!

Gorgeous scenery, excellent service. I was bothered by some random dripping/clicking noises in the middle of the night coming from somewhere in the room, though.

My wife and I were casual off-season visitors. Beautiful place. VERY accommodating staff.

Been hare many times in summer and winter. You can ski here for free on the rope pull any time. You can take your bike up the ski lift in the summer and ride down the hill. They have a great sandwich shop for a quick lunch. Lots of hiking trails and an outdoor theater with plays in the summer.

Very pleasant for a summer pit stop during summer mountain hike/drives. Its a small mountain, but the summer chairlift rides up and hike down are fun (don't bring young kids: the lift is too steep and the hike down too challenging). We like the bar and restaurant a lot, but there aren't many other activities for drop-ins other than a quick walk around.

Ok, it is beautiful but to come there for skiing is a waste compared to other nearby resorts. Limitied number of runs and VERY old fashioned lifts. The Flathead lift crosses some really steep black runs and had NO bar to keep you safe! I am normally never scared of heights while riding on ski lifts and I have skiied in Europe since I was a young girl. But this was too much even for me and my young daughter was crying. In this country of law-suits I just don´t get how Sundance can have a lift like that! I also agree with the previous writer that it is crazy that the slope is crossing the road. Dangerous and bad for the skis. This resort is in desperate need of some modern high speed lifts. That would maybe clear out the long lines at the base chair. However I am not sure the slopes can fit too many people without getting crowded. I must admit that the Bishops Bowl looked very nice but after going on the Flathead chair my girls were too scared to ski in there.
