Clean and decent room, easy check in. Was a pleasant experience, especially for a budget motel. Staff was super, was in and out very quickly and the process could not have been smoother, it's like they go out of their way for each and every guest. I would recommend this motel 6 to anyone looking for a budget room with easy in and out, no hassle place to lay your head for the night.

Recently stayed at this property good bed had handicap room the only thing I would suggest is that they put microwaves and mini fridges in the rooms. And have the handicapped rooms closer to the office. Price is right staff was friendly room was clean and sanitary. Would recommend this a little hard to find need signs on the road.

We enjoy staying here, they have s spool and it's always clean. The staff is helpful and courteous. Prices are very reasonable.

Absolutely the best Motel 6 I've ever stayed in. Nikki the manager was great and our room was extremely clean. The staff was friendly and very informative about the area and things to do for trsvelers like my family. I definitely recommend Motel 6 Midvale for a stay.

The room was clean, and comfortable, but honestly that’s all that I can say that is positive. The people above us were loud throughout the day and night, when I approached them they got confrontational. I took my concern to the front desk and the young man blew off my concern saying ‘It’s the weekend, there’s not much I can do. ’ Our room keys had to be exchanged every day as the stopped working promptly at 10 am, we paid in advance for a 4 night stay so I’m not sure why we had to do this. There were dogs everywhere that peed continually around the trash can outside our door. Fireworks were set off multiple times in the parking lot, and again front desk response was minimal. Last year we stayed at this same location, in a similar room and things were great. We had a mini-fridge in the room, as well as a microwave. This year when we inquired about it on check-in the associate said ‘I’m not sure if that unit comes with those, I guess I could find out for you’. By that point I could figure it out for myself. We were in a situation where you truly get what you pay for, and in retrospect I wish we had instead checked into the Quinta next door.

If zero stars were an option, you can bet this place would get it. I understand you get what you pay for, but this was more money than I have paid for hotels that DO provide shampoo and conditioner, even if they were sample size. I didn't think I could miss cheap hotel wall art, but the glaring absence makes this place feel more like a suite in a mental ward. I was woken at six by the fire alarm going off, just one chirp, no fire, and stiffer than I have ever been. I think the lingering cigarette smoke from the previous inhabitants of our NON SMOKING room must have set it off.

It was a pretty good stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, staff was pleasant, and it was conveniently located close to restaurants. Basically no complaints, except for the fact that there were people definitely living there. That always seems to be a little repulsive, thus the 3 stars.

The rooms were very clean, and well maintained. They were furbished with soaps and towels, and everything you could want in an inexpensive room. We had great service both by maintenance and by the administration. It was a quick process checking in and out.

This place is loaded with people who are a little above homeless people. There are smokers everywhere. We had two kids staring at our dog through our room window. The neighbors were all smoking. One of the steps was cracked off and a note blocking it off saying caution broken step. The cord for the phone in the room was cut off. No shampoo or conditioning was provided. No hair dryer or kleenex tissues were provided. We were very happy to get out of that motel and move next door to La Quinta.

I stayed at another extended stay Motel 6 recently, but for my last visit there weren't any vacancies. The other extended stay (Union Park) was a real extended stay — — this Midvale location is a conversion — — hotel to extended stay. Instead of the spacious room and equally spacious bathroom (with plenty of counter space), it was a cramped room and the bathroom had virtually no counter space. I could tell the room had not been well cleaned: there was dried soda on the floor, shoe polish on the floor by the bed and doors and counters that should have been wiped down. Also very aggravating: EVERY day I was there I had to get a new key card. But my biggest annoyance was NO COFFEE. That's a deal-breaker.

Very nice the staff was so friendly and helpful and the manager she was just a sweetheart. The rooms were spotless and the grounds and pool were kept up. I almost felt as if I was staying at one of those high class motels. When there was another room that was making noise really late one night the staff handled it with exeption. Ive stayed at all the motel 6 in the salt lake valley and this is the only one that deserves the good name of motel 6.

Stayed for a week, was surprised to see hard wood floors in the room, which I thought was great! I don't like walking around hotel carpets barefoot. Bathroom was clean. The only complaint I have is that the linens are outdated. Other than that, my stay was pretty comfortable.

Great front desk customer services while I was there. Only down side and why I wouldn’t stay here again is the smell of the smoke it was horrible and strong. Even tho we got a non-smoking. Also the mini fridge had a bad smell other then that everything seemed to work fine and room was clean.

Overall during the duration of our stay here has been very good. We haven't had any problems & any issue was taken care of immediately. I do appreciate management & the team working here for treating me more than just a guest more like a neighbor & friend…

It's always the same experience staying at this motel, no surprises just same old same old and I kind of like that. It's not a bad place to stay at all and some of the clientele is quite lively and colorful if you give them half a chance. I like this motel alot.

The staff here is amazing and so helpful. The room was super clean. The beds are comfortable. We had an emergency situation and two dogs and the lady was so supportive aand helpful. I needed a kind gesture today, with all the stress my family is under. I'm so grateful for her compassion.

The manager and staff are totally amazing. They make sure your stay is a pleasant one. I highly recommend staying at the midvale motel 6. If I could I would have given them 10 stars.

Stayed a few nights at this motel 6. Rooms were very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend it to friends and family. I will be staying again when I'm back in the area.

I am glad you ask. The rating is low for several reasons. First let me say, the room was clean. I appreciated that. The maid staff was courteous and friendly. The desk person had a problem with our reservation, and was still confused even when I offered my confirmation numbers. (I reserved 2 rooms. ) I am courious to see my credit card bill. We reserved a room for Wednesday, and one for Friday. I asked if there was a weekly rate I was told yes. I thought great. We didn't get a weekly rate. So we didn't stay the week. Any way the second room was for our son and wife. I was paying. I went to check them in. It was 6 PM. He said I couldn't, it was too early. I went back to my room and called the main number and asked them to check my reservation. They confirmed it. I asked about check in time, they said 3 PM. It was after 6. Long story longer, we were there for a funeral and was already upset and late. Checked them in later. But, bottom line we paid more, but was still not unreasonable, just not expected. Had to pay extra everyday for Wi-Fi, which for some reason I thought was included. Sorry but the bed was like laying on a bag of cans, and the neighbors were loud and active ALL night. I know everyone needs a home. Perhaps put them all together in the same area? So they can disturb each other. Sorry to complain. Thanks for listening.

It's a motel 6. The clerk was awesome. Poor guy was swamped, but he handled it like a champ. The buildig is about as standard as it gets. Just wish the Wi-Fi wasn't an extra charge. Never had that happen in any others I've been to. But if you just need to shower and sleep, it serves it's purpose. On a positive note. I'm a commercial driver and there is a place for tractor-trailer parking on the first road south of the lot. That's a big plus for me.

Room was nicer than I expected. Bed was comfortable, but the pillows were way too soft for me. Nice assortment of travel brochures at front lobby. Staff was very friendly!

Nice enough for the price. No complimentary shampoo, only body soap. Less than ideal. Room was small but updated. Noise (crashes, screams, slamming, loud voices) from nearby room went on until after 2am. Called front desk about it. They said I was in a motel, these things happen in motels, and they couldn't do anything about it. I obviously knew I was in a motel as the place is called motel 6. I would not stay here if you want a good night's sleep. I woke up exhausted.

We were very impressed with both the cleanliness of our room, and the lack of any weird smells, and also the overall quality of the room! It was so nice for a motel for the price, we were pleasantly surprised. The bed felt a little firm but was soft enough and again, we loved the room! Thanks!

The motel room was clean, well lit, had comfortable beds and hot water for showers. The staff was always friendly and the motel is very conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and the freeway. My family and I would definitely recommend this Motel 6 to our friends and family!

Dan and the maintenance crew here have been fantastic. The parking lot is spotless the outside of the facility is as well. Dan and his whole entire staff is absolutely amazing. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. The rooms are perfect. The coffee is wonderful and they all make you feel at home. Midvale Motel 6 is the awesome.

We always have s great stay at Motel 6. We are relocating, so have been staying at Motel 6 for about 3 weeks now. We stayed at the Salt Lake Airport location and we enjoyed our stay. Now we are staying at the Midvale, IT location. We are always impressed with the front desk staff and also the housekeepers. And what helps the most is you take cash. Thank you! Please "leave the light on for us".

I stayed for 17 days straight. I rated this motel as it compares to other discount motels. It was great. Clean rooms at a great price. Very friendly staff. Helpful security at night. This is one of the better Motel Six's I've stayed in.

It is a suitable location. Close enough to walk or use transit for a stop or two. Not so close that med-heavy traffic creates misery entering or leavings property. Decent spacing from freeway and adjacent neighborhood for quiet nights. Nothing fancy but, just the right amount of what you need to pick up your feet and relax. Staff is quite polite and does well to answer any and all questions and accomadations, with a smile. Etc. Etc. Etc.

This is the worst hotel I have ever been to! My daughter almost got kidnapped! The staff said my daughter was taking cute pictures with her friends and the next thing you know a maintenance lady Mickey said they were inappropriate! They have no coffiee. The rooms are extremely small and smell like smoke! The beds are small and the room is unclean. This is the worst place to have a family be. Do not stay here ever. Go to discovery inn.

Clean and reasonably quite for a Motel 6. Easy access to I-15 and I-215. A pool and walking distance to places to eat. Less expensive compared to other SLC Motel 6 locations. Certainly would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here after a terrible experience at a different hotel we had to cancel reservations to. It was cheap/ quick to check in with friendly staff. Special shout out to Steve-o at the front desk. He was funny and friendly and helpful. We really appreciated it after what we had been through. God bless motel 6

Your location is better than other Motel 6's. Except for the fact that we could hear our neighbors peeing, flushing, and asking each other for shampoo,, the room was at least clean and didn't smell. My suggestion is to get rid of the connecting doors, install better insulation in the walls. Basically, fix it!

It was in a good location, and there was a really nice Denny's practically right next door! The people were nice, there was security, and lots of parking. The down sides were the shower and the towels. The shower was tiny, I dont see how anyone any bigger than me could possibly be comfortable using it. The towels had some kind of blue something on them? It made me unsure of the cleanliness of the towels. Overall it was a nice little place, the towel holder was really cool looking and the bed was comfortable. I would totally go back.

I want to commend, Mickie the front desk worker, on being such a GREAT example: "how to correctly work with guests! " She is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL @ her job! She fits the description: " how to correctly work positive & friendly with customers and handle situations in a helpful way, when & if needed, with zero negativity! She's a good asset to this company!

To be a Motel by the way, this very well. Super clean, quiet, and spacious rooms with air conditioning, Internet, flat screen television and a pool.

Looking for your runaway, heavy smoking, brother? There is a high chance he's staying here. He'll be found walking around shirtless outside talking to his other buddies scoring drugs… When I asked for a refund because my room stunk like a death camp I was treated like I was the bad guy.

The room was okay until we notice the holes they drill for bed bugs. Thank god there wasnt any. But the people are lower income people living here. Not a kid place. It is loud all night. Locked my car up allnight and few homeless people in the area.

As I was checking in I found a lock pick hook on the ground in front of the front desk. This unsettled me and did not inspire confidence in the security of the motel. The front desk staff were nice and helpful, however, our room was not properly cleaned and disinfected. The room was cosmetically poor and had patched holes in the bathroom door along with unclean floors and stains on the top quilt. There was also dried blood on the bathroom door. We reported this to the front desk clerk and he provided us with a new room because no cleaning crew was available. Check in and check out were fast and simple. I was pleased the motel was pet friendly and the price was reasonable, however, you have to pay extra to amenities like Wi-Fi and breakfast was not provided. Explains the lower price.

It's simply a motel and that's why it gets three stars. The non smoking room was not too bad. I didn't really find anything that bothered me. Shower is a little small but it works if it's just short term. The biggest concern is the area, there were a lot of questionable people throughout my stay here. I definitely wouldn't have stayed by myself. The housekeeper also looked a little sketched out and was constantly yelling. But other than those things, overall good experience.

You know your typical motel 6 t'was ok.

The room was alright. Clean. Got into argument with some chick with a black wig who was the receptionist, she later apologized stating "do you know how many Crack heads I have to deal with everyday? " After that she was fine. Heard alot of people walking by, all in all not a bad experience. However, will pay a little more not to stay here again in the future.

Just like any other Hotel… They charge you 2.99 — 4.99 per device for Wi-Fi. That's a little outrageous considering they does even serve breakfast…

This place is nothing more then a glorified meth den. Your room will test positive for meth. If you are looking to score some hard drugs and prostitutes this is the place. Not worth the $50-$60.

I love motel 6bin Midvale Utah it's great.

The Motel 6 on the southern side of Salt Lake City, Utah has a very friendly staff. That is where the good part of this review meets it's end. We were met with a welcoming view of two police cruisers dealing with someone right outside the front office. The light switch in the room was broken, there was what looked and smelled to be a prostitute sitting outside of our room between her door and our door, the climate control unit was broken on heat making it very difficult to sleep because it was about 85 f in the room, the pillows were very uncomfortable, furthermore, it is very windy in this area and the outside garbage cans are not weighted so they had a nice tumble all over while we were trying to sleep. There was some type of emotional dispute that went on for several hours with lots of crying and yelling. Oh and forget needing a wakeup call the maid has got you covered using her shop vac to clean up the garbage can's mess at 6 am. Yay.

Worst motel 6 I've seen in my entire life. First I come home to a druggie in my room and my wallet and other things gone, then police knockin on my door putting tasers on me saying they had a call of somebody being stabbed, now I've realized that the HOUSEKEEPER has stolen my bag of change today while I was at work. Not to mention drugs deals outside all night long and people yelling and keeping me up all night. I've been staying here a month due to work and needless to say it's not a one night bad experience. Absolutely a horrible place to stay I wouldn't recommend it to a homeless person!

I have been here 2 times and I. Enjoyed my time here. It's nice and clean and quite. The room was clean and the right temp. Great cable. Watched a couple of movies and walking distance to McDonald by 2 mins. Coffee was convienant in office. Mikki the front reception was super nice.

I have been here for a few months. The staff is great but the drugs, cops breaking down doors and shady people makes it a kind of a scary place. Last month 2 or 3 dead bodies were hauled out. I keep to myself, but a single woman is asking for trouble. If they had full time security would help, but they rely on cameras.

Was a wonderful experience had a pleasant stay the staff was very helpful and made sure I was well taken care of. I am a disabled woman who lives on disability when my landlord kicked me out I had no where else to go. They really made the things in my life that were not going well at the time more manageable because they were so friendly helpful and willing to go that extra mile to make my stay as stress free as possible. Wonderful staff, clean and spacious room, great green space for dogs. From the time we walked in to the front office to the time we left the next morning, we were made to feel welcome. Room was quiet, Beds were comfy, bathroom was adequate. Close to various restaurants, grocery stores and gas stations. If I ever need to stay in the area again, I would definitely choose this Motel 6 over any of the other chain hotels.

I just called and the woman at the front desk was the WORST at customer service EVER! I asked to be connected to a room and gave the last name of client and the room number-she rudely said she would not connect me to the guest. I then Isaid well forget the name I need to be connected to the room-she said due to policy she would not connect me. That is the craziest situation I have ever dealt with! If you are looking to be pleasantly accommodated at this hotel — look somewhere else.

This Motel 6 scared me. I couldn't sleep well cause of the incredibly hard bed. At check-in the desk clerk made comments on the amount of theft in the area. Kept waking up to check on my car. The night clerk is pretty rude, but I can see why this would work out for this place. With the wierdos that walk around.

Not only was the lady at the front desk not very helpful, the sheets in the room had cigarette burns (non-smoking room) and there were blood sucking bugs throughout the night. Do not stay here.
