I'm honestly sad on how the situation worked it self out the first gentleman was very kind and respectful but the general manager was rude and combative (as you can see from some of his responses) he pounded on the door like he was the police department and when I opened the door immediately asked are you smoke in here which me nor my wife we're I have asthma and can not smoke I had asked originally if this was a smoke free hotel after smelling the strong smell of cigarettes in the hall when I went up to the front desk to ask what that was all about the general manager remand rude and dismissive I proceeded to call the choice hotel customer service number and was told to go and request a receipt from the front desk and when I did I was told to "GET THE F*CK OUT!

Very nice place. Truck parking, security cameras, very polite and friendly staff. Would recommend that you stay here. Pet friendly.

Clean room, friendly staff, and comfortable bed. The Guest Laundry facilities are pretty lousy though. $2 to wash and another $2 to dry only to have your clothes still be wet afterwards.

Bedspread had burn holes, Toilet wasn't bolted to the floor, holes in the wall, paint was off line, the egg's @ breakfast tasted like cardboard & the guy overseeing the breakfast was watching everyone like a hawk… $110.98 for a $40.00 room.

Worst business I’ve ever dealt with. I saw 3 rooms, all of which were crawling with bugs. I did not stay the night after showing the desk agent the bugs, to which he guaranteed a refund. The next day, the manager denied the whole event and refused me the $100 refund. It wasn’t until I contacted the hotel’s parent company, Choice Hotels, that I eventually got my money back. I can not recommend strongly enough to avoid this hotel. The owner is a shameless liar and is blatantly disrespectful toward his customers.

If I find myself in the area again, I would probably stay here. Clean, nice, relatively inexpensive. Beds were clean and mostly good, but smaller than I expected for the price — it would be uncomfortable for two adults to be in one bed. The breakfast was hot at 8am and surprisingly good for a continental breakfast (although… they had cream cheese but no bagels or anything I saw to put it on). Still, surprisingly good. Shower pressure and heat was excellent. Staff was fine, didn't have any problems.

A passable hotel for it's quality target. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean. The shower in one of our rooms had a hole in it and was pretty unusualable. The lock on the bathroom door was broken on the other. The bed was comfy enough but small. Overall was fine for one night, it would have been uncomfortable for a long stay.

I can't understand the 4 and 5 stars this place was given. I paid $156.00 for a dump of a room in a dump of a place. The carpets were terribly stained, toilet didn't flush correctly, Luke warm water in the shower. I only stopped there because it was the 1st place I came to when I was so tired I could no longer drive. Oh. And the guy that waited on me wasn't mean but it was pretty borderline. He acted like I was a pain in the ass. Never again.

Bugs all over the beds. We found several little bugs crawling all over the bed and the front desk clerk switched our room. The only problem is he switched our room THREE times and we saw them in every room. He even came into one of the rooms with us and saw the bugs and said he would tell the manager to call us in the morning for a refund and that he would vouch that we were telling the truth. We had to leave at 230 am which sucked, we were in the hotel for less than an hour. 2 days later the manager finally calls us and accuses us of lying and refuses to refund us?! We didn't even sleep in this hotel and they won't give us our money back. They are scammer pieces of garbage that can't run a clean hotel to save their lives. I've stayed in plenty seedy places and have never had a problem until now, and this is supposed to be a halfway decent hotel. If you don't mind bugs crawling all over your skin while you sleep then sure stay here I guess, but there are plenty of other places to sleep in this town.

It was convenient and reasonably priced. Nicely furnished room and clean. Breakfast offered good selection.

Great customer service. Clean rooms. Comfy beds. Good selection of cable. Xfinity cable. Super clean bathroom. We have a king room. It's small room size but it's just the two of us and it's not like we need a ginormous room. So I have to say its PERFECT and That's coming from a girl who is known to be SUPER SUPER PICKY with hotels. We r here on a Saturday and paid less than 100 so it met all my expectations if not more.

Room was nice and clean. Area well maintained. Breakfast in the morning was good and hot.

Nice clean rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We drive a truck and there was plenty of parking. Had a pretty good breakfast of sausage, eggs (not the kind that has seen a chickens butt) biscuits and gravy. We arrived early and they let us check in a couple of hours early.

The employees were kindof odd. One asked me what my room number was. But overall the room was fairly decent.

Was given a pet friendly room when we told them at check-in that we did not have a pet. BEWARE, In room 121 there is a fan in the bathroom ceiling that there is no control/switch for you to control. If you need quiet to sleep, you won't get it because of the constant noise of this fan. I called the front desk and no came by to check this out. Lastly, went to the courtesy breakfast and when we returned, the ceiling above the toilet was dripping. I won't ever stay in a Sleep Inn in any place my future travels take me.

The service was good and the beds slept amazing didn't want to wake up! Rooms were clean and smelled clean. Overall very satisfied and would definitely return.

Typical Sleep Inn room with the exception of the front desk staff. The man that checked us in (note — I didn't say gentleman) was rude and asked for unnecessary information. He refused to give us the room we booked, (a king) instead he offered either a queen or 2 double. If we had known this at booking we would have gone elsewhere. The website mentions picturesque views of Antelope Island — difficult to understand since Antelope Island is 28 miles away. The only views this hotel has are a truck stop, an RV dealership, and a restaurant (which was actually decent). The carpets are filthy, our shower had spots on the back wall that were obviously patch marks (looked like someone smeared poop on the wall). We were woken up one morning by a man walking down our hallway, sliding receipts under doors, all the while talking very loudly on his cell phone. The breakfast area is tiny, (four tables) with egg rounds and barely warm sausage patties, and the waffle batter was so thin the waffles cooked up with a crust but no substance inside. The sink's faucet was set so far back it was impossible to wash your hands without getting the area behind the sink wet. Spend a little more money and stay somewhere else!

Smells like a truck stop hotel. If it wasn’t for my company booking me here… there is no way I would have even looked at this place! Not to mention it smells like cigarettes… Not quite a 1 star but still garbage!

Good service, good breakfast but military discount nonexistant and queen beds are size of double bed.

We left a shirt in one if the rooms and called. They knew immediately they had it and saved it for us to pick up later. They remember returning guests and take care of us. I recommend them.

As opposed to the advertised rate of $65, we were told we were paying $75. A revised bill was slipped under the door in the morning, saying $83, and saying they'd already charged the card for that amount. It feels similar to a roadside robbery. The room was not worth $83. In fact, the room was tiny, dingy, and, honestly, ugly. It looks nothing like the pictures. The people at the desk seem to avoid speaking unless they have to, and are rude once they do. Finally, the continental breakfast is the most barren one I've ever had. The most I can say for this hotel is no bed bugs. But the price is insane for this awful experience.

Great experience here! Rooms are really nice and comfortable. Got free breakfast and coffee in the morning. Definitely would recommend.

Room didn't feel secure. Door was not set proper to the frame. Lock seemed forced or pried open at some point. The breakfast wasn't replenished from their 6am starting to the 6:45am time frame. The television in the dinning room screams at you at an unreasonable level and is just the propaganda filled fox entertainment channel ran instead of real news, not even local news. Weather would be nice to know about as a traveler.

This hotel was a very good option for service and cleanliness. The staff was amazing and I felt very secure there. The prices for the rooms were very affordable for the services given. I will go back there to stay again.

Manager was a real piece of work! I would avoid places like this. It's a good spot for truckers to get a "quick 30" if you know what I mean.

Room was really clean, received a free upgrade, staff was very friendly, and the entire experience was fantastic. I would highly recommend staying here if you're in the area, I will definitely stay again!

Clean and well maintained. Budget friendly. If you just want a place to shower and sleep for the night, this is perfect. Complimentary Continental breakfast.

Location is not the best. It's right across from a truck stop, so you'll get a faint rumble from those 24/7. The entrance/exit can get blocked by those semis as they leave too. Seems pretty clean.

We needed a pet friendly hotel, but our room smelled like stale dog pee. It was also OBSCENELY expensive for the quality and the area… we paid $200 for one night, and that was with a AAA discount. I'll go on record and say that we didn't actually choose to stay here… we got screwed by the Comfort Inn down the road (you can read my review on that place, too) and were referred to this place last minute. Is it the worst hotel I've ever stayed in? No. But it definitely is overpriced and they could do a much better job of cleaning their pet-friendly rooms.

This hotel is certainly worth the price. It was clean and the employees offered great service! Upon our second stay on our way back through towards home, we arrived later than planned. The front desk was kind enough to extend our check-out by an hour for us to get some extra sleep! Would certainly stay again!

Great trucker friendly hotel, quiet with a large lot for parking. They accept efs checks and breakfast is pretty good, stay there a lot on my trip up and back to the West coast.

Wasn't the nicest or cleanest, but the value was ok. The continental breakfast was good, especially their biscuits and gravy. The room was somewhat clean, but was old and didn't get any light.

Room 123 was a smoking room that, the only Queen room they had left available. Was pretty bad so paid the extra for the King room. The king room was actually smaller then the Queen. Had an awesome space-age shower though. All n all stay in another choice hotel if your trying to save. Econo Lodge has larger rooms, better beds, and better AC at 40% less.

Nice breakfast. Nothing bad about it. Comfortable blankets and pillows. No pool. Had TV with many different channels.

Room was as clean and as expected for the price range. The hotel is in a great location in relation to the highway. I enjoyed my stay. I recommend it if your passing through or staying in Ogden.

Hotel was located right off the freeway in the same complex as a cafe and gas station. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent and provided some different options l. Overall, it was a nice stay for an overnight visit.

Very nice quiet even though by a truck stop no problems at all breakfast was sausage biscuits and gravy waffles fruit boiled eggs yogurt cereal with juice coffee milk I see the negative comments and have to wonder if it's a racist issue the front isn't American but they are very nice even gave a late check out.

This place compleat trash. 3 out of the power outlets are broken and bashed into the wall. The paint is fucked up on the edges. The toilet paper holder is falling out of the wall. There is black mold on the corners of the bathroom. The blankets have burn holes in them. The lights flicker. The staff member that I deal with is a compleat prick.

The rooms were great. We had a really nice time there and everything was really clean. Also, the breakfast was great in the morning.

Not the ritz, but great value for the money. Pet room was spotless and comfortable!

I tired asking some information about what where they be serving for breakfast and she gave me a really bad attitude and said y dont you wait and find out. I said excuse me and she said that she was the manager and she can do whatever she wants I dont know why bht she seem like she was having a hard day but not a way to treat customers very disappointed I come here often not any more.

Update 6/19/15 After calling Customer Service and having an official grievance filed the manager was given 72 hrs to call me and make this right. Instead I am told he wrote CS an email in all caps — you all know, the yelling, impatient, let's just assume loud inflection kind — stating that he had emailed me a confirmation which lists the cancellation policy and thus I had no leg to stand on. But guess what folks? Nobody at the inn or even Customer Service had ever asked me for my email. It's not on file anywhere. It took Tim in customer service about 3 seconds to catch the manager in his lie. Here's an all caps report for you — LIAR, LIAR, PANTS ON FIRE, HANGING FROM A TELEPHONE WIRE! Get out of customer service. Go to India and find your inner peace man. Upfront customer service isn't for you. Final resolution — Customer Service is sending me a refund and the manager will get another mark against him & the hotel's owner is supposed to get notified about his behavior. June 15 I was not told about the cancellation policy and Dale the manager charged me anyways. I asked him kindly to forgive the charge and he told me "Every hotel in the united states has the same policy. If you didn't know about it, it's not my problem. " Lovely Dale. You're a real peach. I hope karma bites you in the butt. I will be filing a grievance with my bank and will NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE PAYING THIS BILL.

Have stayed here before and was great. This stay 6-29-15 the room smelled like dog poop. We had a delivery appointment and had to leave the room by 5:00am and they would not even give us a donut. (breakfast starts at 6am) We are long haulers and deliver and pick up a lot in the area. This Sleep Inn is handy with the Pilot right there too — but we will probably not stay at this place again.
