Run down exterior. Creepy big room with poor lighting in bathrooms.

The room was very spacious and having three beds was beneficial to the whole family. To be honest though, that was the only good thing about the room. The bathrooms were very small and the room had and indefinable odor that bothered the whole family. My father had a great time singing in the shower though. The carpet did a good job of covering up anything strange that might have been on it. Another strange thing about the room was that three of the paintings were the same and so were the other two. It was a fun to watch my family struggle to figure out what was different about the paintings. Lastly, my father had a great time singing in the shower. To sum everything up, when I walked into the room I said "Psh, unreal".

Pros: The rooms are very large so my big family has lots of room to workout their muscles. The rug has a very busy pattern so that I can not see any weird stains. The artwork is quite fun as all are the same I think. I spent hours looking for the difference as if it were a game. The doors open both in and out. It smells like home as well… if you own dogs & goats. Cons: The refrigerator door won't stay closed & is leaking water on the beautiful carpet. No worries though… I am using my large suitcase to keep it closed.

The Bryce Zion Inn was perfect for us, as we we're traveling to both Bryce Canyon NP and Zion NP. It was just far enough outside of the parks to be away from the crowd, but just close enough to make it a quick trip to each location. The rooms were very clean and open. The space was pretty darn good for what we paid. Also, they have a deal with a local restaurant to get 10% and the food was fantastic!

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights, hiking all day and using the room for basically showers and sleep. Pros are the large size of the rooms, very nice young man at check in (he was maybe 13 years old), fairly quiet at night, spacious bathroom and good water pressure. Cons were the rooms had soiled chairs, a large crack in the mirror above the sink, holes in the adjoining door, window doesn't close all the way. Not sure we would ever stay here again, issues do need attention. (Btw, the website pictures are not accurate. The check in was dirty, cluttered and is not the same as shown in their picture. The grill and picnic tables were not sitting in a patch of grass. There was no picnic table and the grill was shoved up against the side of the bldg. We didn't have flowers outside our door either. We had an ashtray on the window ledge and a huge trash can)

This place is below average. You have to like1960's decorating and decor. Awful smell and bugs in room. Had to wait for receptionist to come to check in. If they hadn't heldmy reservation I would never have stayed here. You can find better in a larger town for less money.

Great big room with 3 beds! I loved it. 2 bathrooms. Great for a big family. Full size Refrigerator! We had everything we needed. Small town. Nice LDS ward a block away.

I chose this Inn because I saw it has the review of 4.2, which is great. The room is spacial and clean with refriger, microwave and a big new TV. The ice machine has more than enough ice for use. Internet is super fast. Water tastes much better than the tap water in the city. The shower is great. Once we checked in, we all loved it. We traveled to Bryce National Park and I didn't bother to drive 20-30 min to live in this quiet Inn. If you like to live in an environment remote to the city, this one is a good choice. There is also restaurant nearby and offers 10% discount for the guest. I didn't go to the restaurant but I looked through the menu with reasonable price (cheaper on steak). I give a 5 star as it is. It isn't pricey.

Comfortable beds, amazingly clean rooms. A great place to crash after a long day of hiking. Extremely reasonably priced for the area. Yes, it's an older motel, but we found that charming.

The room was large, the bed was large and the bathroom was large. There is also a microwave and fridge. Once into the room, has been opened in advance of the heating, so that people are not only warm body, the heart is also hot. Sincerely recommended.

Crossing to hatch in August 2017 after a day at Bryce Canyon we decided to leave out the hotels close to Bryce's way too expensive.
Surprise at our arrival the receptionist is a child but who did the Check in in a very pro way he even bothered to call our room to find out if we were well settled. Even in the big hotel chains we didn't get that!
We ate in the restaurant affiliated to the hotel (for which we receive a 10% discount voucher at Check in) and the also nickel we made the acquaintance of the owners just as nice and attentive as their children.
Room very spacious and clean, not of any youth but the essential is there! Bravo to all this family for the good work provided I recommend.

We were greeted by one of the owners ' children, he was full of good attentions.
After the installation in the room we had, after 15 minutes, a call from the reception to find out if we were well settled.

Great customer service from husband and wife owners Racquel and Guy. We had booked a room with them and had to cancel and Racquel was so sweet to make an effort to rent our room to someone else and refund our room purchase. We really appreciated her going above and beyond like that. I did get a chance to look at the family sized rooms tho and they are huge and look clean. If you are family with a lot of kids heading to Bryce or Zion Canyon it would be totally worth it to have 3 queen beds to accommodate everyone. I can't tell you how many times I've shoved kids on the floor because there wasn't enough bed space. It's nothing fancy, but it's spacious and clean. Plus there's a couch, table, fridge and microwave. Rather than booking two rooms to accommodate your large family, just stay in one of their 4 family rooms. Bring some games to play on the table, and have an awesome trip to Bryce or Zions! Don't let the bad reviews scare you. Racquel and Guy will treat you right. They care about their customers. If you have a concern, let them know and they'll make it right. Book with confidence… I don't think you'd regret staying here. I'll definitely be recommending them to my friends.

Does the job, very standard, no perks. Not sure you can get better in this place. Hatch is not great, doesn't play well for the motel.

Have stayed in 14 BEST WESTERN HOTELS SINCE JULY 17, 2017. This 1, and 1 in Pueblo, Colorado, were the very BEST. Great value for your money! Friendly staff, Good breakfast, CLEAN CONFORTABLE ROOMS.

Not bad as far as roadside motels go. Clean-ish and not much in the way of amenities. But they had Wi-Fi and hot water.

The only good thing I can say about this place is that the rooms are very spacious, with 3 queen beds and two showers at a reasonable price. That being said, the one bathroom reeked like sewage, which affected the whole rest of the room, unless we kept the door shut at all times. The entire place is extremely out-dated, using actual keys (instead of key cards) and an air conditioner that looks like it's from the 70s and struggles to cool the room. The main lobby is very unprofessional, with the receptionist wearing shorts and a t-shirt. No uniform or name badge. I had to dodge a fan that fell out of the window on my way to the desk. The shower head in the non-smelly bathroom is really low. I'm about 5' 8", and I had to squat down to wash my hair. I would definitely not recommend staying here.

We just had a three night stay at Bryce Zion Inn. It was very reasonably priced compared to others and an excellent value for the money. We’ve never had such a large hotel/motel room. There was plenty of space to spread out. Everything worked just fine and it was spotlessly clean. There was a cozy fireplace in the corner and a large screen TV. Our room had a large window. There were big, fluffy white towels for the bathroom and the refrigerator/freezer were larger than the standard motel frigs. It’s a family run business and they were all very friendly and helpful. The next time we’re traveling this way, we’ll certainly stay here.

I gave this Motel a four star based off looking at every aspect of a motel stay. I would not say the room is " spacious" like some of the other people said but it's okay size. The room has two queen beds refrigerator microwave coffee pot. The the beds were pretty comfortable and the service is good it is family ran business. This place grows on you the longer you stay here. The only constructive criticism I would give is when they have the money they might want to do some updates. Also considering the inflated hotel prices in the area because of Tourism this place is reasonably priced.

I always look for a hotel that has a good comfy bed, soft pillows, clean, and smells good. I dont care about the decor or if it looks run down. I gave this place a chance because I read somewhere they were new owners and saving up to pave the parking lot, but service has to be improved. That doesn't cost more. You lose customers with bad service. So anyways, the pillows were very hard, two towels were dirty! Someone washed their hands and dried them and the towels were left hanging. Our room wasn't even ready at 3pm check in time. I had to go ask to get a room that was ready? I tried checking in early around 2, but the lady said give it a couple of hours, our room is being cleaned. When I looked at the time I thought she was joking!? I never thought a hotel could do this… go beyond their promised time for checkin. I would have skipped this review if I would have had clean towels and a good sleep. That didnt happen. Do not recommend staying here.

The most spectacular Canyon on the West coast of the United States!

Don't drive by looking for better. The outside hides what's good. Big clean rooms with all amenities and very accommodating hosts. The diner across the street is nice, too. Hotel is GREAT value for money.

The good: Spacious, clean rooms, friendly staff, quiet, comfy beds, big TV with satellite cable, free Wi-Fi. The not-so-great: Horrible showerheads, our door, free Wi-Fi. We stayed a couple of days after Labor Day. As noted above, the rooms were big and clean, the beds were comfy and our neighbors were quiet. We ate dinner (twice) and breakfast (once) at the Galaxy Inn which was convenient, decent (if limited) menu and friendly staff. However, the showerhead in our bathroom had only two settings — — razor-sharp and needle-like. I thought my skin was coming off when I took my first shower (pro tip: turn the water flow down to ease the jets). We were tempted to go over to Ace Hardware in neighboring Panguitch to pick up a replacement. Likewise, the door to our room was pretty difficult to get open but I didn't feel compelled to run out to the hardware store to get a replacement. But that shower. Ouch! The internet connection was slow, slow, slow, but being in a remote area, I was amazed it was even offered. But you know what? I didn't care. I was on vacation and ain't nobody got time for Facebooking in God's country. PS, if you need a blow dryer, they're available at the front desk.

What an amazing find on my trip to Zion national park and Bryce canyon. It's a comfortable distance between both places at a great price. Although we weren't there for long, the people at the desk were warm and made us feel welcome. Though breakfast was not included, they did give a discount for a quaint little diner across the street. It is a motel so don't expect much. The rooms were dated, with a wall unit AC, paper thin walls and gravel parking lot. There is a flat screen with cable in the room and I especially enjoyed the sink outside of the bathroom which made it easier for my girlfriend and I to get ready in the morning. Overall, I think this is a great place to stay and would recommend it to anyone going to the parks or even just passing through.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It's conveniently located between Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park. The rooms were big, the TV was big, and the internet was fast. I would stay here again, and recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in that area.

The motel is a cute little place in the small town of Hatch. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They offer free coffee, water, Wi-Fi, and satellite tv. They also have a microwave and small refrigerator in the rooms. The lobby is in some need of upkeep, but after talking with the some of the family that runs the place it sounds like they have been continually renovating. The sister of the owner told me her brother recently bought the motel and was restoring the place. Hatch is a little town sitting on a beautiful landscape of small farms and horse stables nestled in valleys between forested canyons… very pretty. The reason I wanted to leave a review was the exceptional quality of the staff and family that run this little motel. When I arrived at the motel I had suffered a dislocated shoulder reaching into the back seat of my car. I had done this before so I figured I could get it back in place. I decided to check in first and try to do this in my room. I informed the front desk of my situation and told them it wasn't a big deal and that I would be able to pop it back. After checking into my room and getting my two children (3 and 9) situated I tried and couldn't get it back in place. Not long into this the kid who was tending the front desk when I got there knocked on the door to see if I was okay. He told me he had the phone number to the doctor about 15 miles up the road. I told him to get it! Not long after he came back with a woman named Dixie.

At first look I wasn't sure of the place — it is an older motel. After checking in and looking at the room; everything was excellent. I liked that it was away from the bustle of Zion's — it is closer to Bryce — which no one should miss when traveling to this area. Great customer support.

We stayed for two nights at Bryce Zion Inn during this Memorial Day weekend. The experience was simply awesome. The room we stayed in was HUGE! We had the 3 queen bed, and there were still plenty of room for our two kids to run around. The location cannot get better. It is 30 min. To Bryce Canyon and 55 min. To Zion National Park. This Hotel got new owners last year — both Guy and Raquel are very friendly. They are still remodeling some of their rooms and are very much aware of every guests needs. They gave my wife an extra hair dryer and portable room heaters for the kids. The Hatch town is really small and in the lap of nature. If you are lucky, you might spot some wildlife. There are only 2 restaurants and 1 gas station / grocery store. The hotel owners were kind enough to give us discount coupons for these restaurants. We really loved our stay here and will visit again next time we are in the vicinity.

Charming, comfortable and reasonably priced motel rooms near Bryce Canyon in the Utah high country. You can almost miss Hatch as you travel through this beautiful grass valley. We had to double back when we realized our error. Guy and Raquel Thompson, your hosts, are developing their investment in this promising travel lodge. Don't let the rustic gravel parking area discourage you. The rooms are fantastic! My family and I loved our stay.

The motel has really big rooms for the price they offer, with a fridge and a microwave. The staff was friendly and offered suggestions for the best food in Hatch. They were helpful too – when the toilet chain broke in our room on our second night, we were quickly moved to a new room without any hassle. It was a great location close to Zion (1 hour) and Bryce (30 minutes) during our travel to the parks. It's a great deal.

I stayed at the Bryce-Zion-Inn for a few days in May 2015 while visiting Bryce Canyon. The owner Guy had been a great host and was honestly interested in my well-being as his guest. The Wi-Fi worked great, the room was clean and spacious with a fridge and a microwave. Good value for the money and I would stay there again if I visited Bryce another time. For Zion the distance would be a bit too long for my taste.

My family and I stayed at this motel twice last summer. It was under new management, and the new owners were friendly! At one stay we got to check in to one of their remodeled rooms, and it was very comfortable with updated furnishings, televisions, etc. Beautiful views, restaurants across the street and within walking distance, laundry facilities and very reaonable prices. This will be our stop for all things Bryce Canyon, Panquitch Lake and Zion's Canyon!

Not a place I would plan or choose as a destination. We arrived late in the day enroute to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The 'gentleman' clerk was pleasant but not professional in appearance or performance. The dormitory style room was large, three beds with two complete and separate bathrooms. The TV was old, reception was limited and of poor quality. The electricity for the complex went off around 09:00 PM and never returned. Attempts to contact the hotel staff were unsuccessful. We will not stay here again.

After visiting Zion and Coral Pink Dunes, my family and I needed a room for the night before heading on to Bryce Canyon. After all other hotels were either sold out or closed for the night, we came across this motel. Don't let looks deceive you; it's a great place to stay! As of a month ago it's under new management, with a very friendly staff and a soon-to-be on-site restaurant. Although the outside may seem worn down, the rooms are spotless and spacious! If you'd like, you can tour each available room to decide which one you' want. And don't worry about time. The office is open afetr 11:00 @ night. (Good thing, because if it weren't we would have kept driving, and after almost going head-on with an entire heard of deer earlier that night, might not have been able to enjoy the rest of our vacation! ).
