Horrible RV park, needs work, many sites not working, sites not marked, many too small for today’s rigs.

Incredible scenery. Awesome trails for off road fun. Great facilities. Rustic from the sense that you need to bring your own food and pretend almost like you are camping. We were there in mid-march, and that is ahead of the regular tourist season. So not as many places were open. Very close to lake Powell and all of the great activities there as well. You can rent off-road ATVs, as well as boats, paddleboards, bicycles. Everything you need for your outdoor adventure is right here.

Nice hotel. Great trail riding nearby.

My wife and I had a really great experience staying here at the lodge and exploring the surrounding area of Lake Powell. The staff here at the lodge was really friendly and very helpful answering our questions. The room we stayed in was clean and for the most part roomy for the typical hotel/motel room. However, They really do need to do some updating in the room/bathroom. Curtains, furniture (couch was a nice touch but feel like it to big for the area). Bathroom needs an overall update. No fire pit, which was disappointing, they need to take that off the website. We understand the reasoning why once we asked the front desk. (thanks to irresponsible past guests)
The restaurant next door was closed for remodeling from my understanding, so we had to drive 1 1/2 miles down the road to the “grill” which was inside a gas station and place to rent boats. Food there was decent, it was indeed a very basic grill. Nothing to brag about. Another place was near Lake Powell in Bullfrog. The restaurant there is called Anasazi, and they have really good food.
Overall the experience was great, in retrospect no issue with the room. It was quite, plenty of trails to go explore around the lodge, or take a drive and explore the surrounding area, or just relax in the room. They do have recreational stuff to rent, tours to take if you sign up early enough. Camp grounds near by, a ferry, the restaurant mentioned above.
My wife and I will definitely be returning.

Way over priced. They think their Aramark. My last time staying here. I’ve stayed here since 2000

I have rented a boat and taken an ATV tour through Ticaboo Lodge and have had great experiences both times. I highly recommend the guided ATV tour. I had been riding in the area before but had missed some amazing trails. After the tour, I went and rode the trails again because they were so fun. Golden Narrows is one of my new favorite trails in the state.

The staff here was so amazing. I was kind of stuck there for a few days without a car (my family took a long ATV trip that I did not go on), and they were so kind and helpful! You can ask for anything and they will help.

Amazing costumer service! The staff was warm and friendly. Loved the location very close to the lake and many other wonderful outdoor activities! We will be back again!

The room was very nice. Husband even liked the couch to sit on to watch TV instead of just a chair. It was quiet too. Plugged the boat into the charger pole in the parking lot! The bed was very comfortable and direct TV made the Ohio State game available. Big kudos on that one :) The sunset was gorgeous. Thanks to the staff for taking care of us.

At first it seemed closed because there were no vehicles in the parking lot. We were among 5 guests for the whole night. Rooms were clean, and well maintained. The staff was very courteous. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate 24/7. Free Wi-Fi. Plenty of parking. Boat rentals and shop on site.

The good: The beds are comfortable, air conditioning is a godsend. Coffee in the morning and proximity to lake Powell. The not so great: Watched as a potential customer waited in the lobby and got frustrated and left because no one was there. (Our stay was fine, but they seemed to behaving a bad day) Also the restaurant is pretty good, when it's open. Supposedly "open every day" (by which they mean only Monday through Thursday) I don't know what definition of "every day" they're using. With such a low patronage, they can't really be expected to be overtly accommodating.

The rooms and service are fine, but plan to pay for ice and bring your own food to cook. Their pool is well maintained, but who needs a pool? You're 10 minutes from Lake Powell. At the time we went this place was more expensive than Defiance House, which is right on the lake and has an attached restaurant.

Super impressed with hotel staff and restaurant staff. Hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate our early arrival and late departure. They were kind enough to store some of our belongings for a while. We caught the 2 gals at the restaurant as they were locking up for the night. They insisted we place an order and made us a quick delicious dinner. Thanks so much, we will be returning and recommending.

Gail and I Had such a great time that we can't wait to get back again! I wish we had come when we were a bit younger. There is so much to do. I think I liked the Razors and the "findings' on our excursions the best. Gail would probably go on about the Lake. The Lodge and the staff were exceptional. We will be back!

We got to Lake Powell to go boating and we stay at Ticaboo Lodge. The setting is beautiful and the staff do a good job of keeping the rooms clean and available for the boaters who stay there. The lodge has a coffee bar and the coffee is great. There is a small store on site with souvenirs and convenience foods. There is a restaurant on site, a pool and the grounds have outdoor tables to sit and talk about your day and a grill, too. The best thing? How friendly the staff and managers are. They answer questions about the lake and are always willing to chat about your stay and make sure their guests are happy.

The staff is amazing! Such genuinely friendly, caring people. The lodge was a perfect place to stay. Highly recommended. Leslie, Kathleen, & Montana were awesome! Thank you for such a pleasurable experience.

Super friendly. Off grid resort. Its not a beach front property. It is however unique and completely different from most resorts.

The hotel was clean great staff, plenty of parking for boats and trailers. Fuel station on site. Restaurant was good servings smoked meats. The only downside was that the restaurant was closed on Saturday and Sunday. I think they were short on staff. Ticaboo is a pretty remote location. Neat place a lot to do in the area.

Came to area with the Northern UT ATV Riders for a three day ride, had a great time riding the trails lead by Capt. Ray. He & his staff provided excellent service.

We had such a blast. The staff there is wonderful. Leslie and the gentleman that keeps the pool spotless clean were so nice. Jordan from Ticaboo adventures gave us so much information on where to go. I highly recommend staying at Ticaboo lodge. If you do not have acsess to an ATV talk to Jordan at Ticaboo Adventures. He will hook you up with one and tell you where to go. Excellent way to spend Easter weekend with my family.

My family and I and a bunch of friends stayed here for 3 days this past week, and had the time of our lives! The employees were great! The rooms were awesome. We took our UTV's down and had them take us around on their tours, it was a ton of fun! I would recommend to anyone I know to say here!

We had a great weekend at the Ticaboo Resort. Fantastic UTV riding. The staff here was super nice and accommodating. We ended up with 24 people here and had a great time. We pretty much had the place to our selves as it was the off season. Hotel was better than expected. Clean comfortable room. We will be back.

We just spent the weekend at the Ticaboo Lodge. The accommodations were great. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots of great riding.

We the best experience at Ticaboo Resort, after driving through a snow storm our boat was covered in road grime and needed cleaned before boating, I asked if they had a hose. The awesome maintenance guy set us up with bucket, soap, hose and a boat brush. He really went above and beyond. When I walked to the front desk my paper work and room keys were on the desk ready to go, fastest check in ever. So friendly to let me know what food was available since it is February and almost everything is closed for the season. The king bed room was clean and very roomy with a couch, fridge, microwave and a computer desk. It had a USB charging deck, coffee in the lobby 24hrs a day. Stayed for 3 days and the room was always clean when we returned. Will definitely stay here for now on. Only 13 miles to the lake. Thanks for your hospitality.

I stayed one night here for work I had to do in the area at the Off Shore Marina and back in Hanksville. I wasn't disappointed with the hotel, very well maintained and the lady that helped my co-worker and I was very friendly and willing to help us in any way needed. Provided us with coffee in the morning before we got to work and I'm sure they would have provided a free breakfast but didn't while we were there due to them being in the off season so they didn't have that up and running at the time for us. Close by they have a gas station, restaurant, and gift shop that also had various items you could rent like jet skis and boats. Overall, a very nice small community with a well deserved five stars.

Ticaboo vs. Defiance Most of you reading this are trying to decide between Ticaboo (T) and Defiance (D). We stayed at both given D was sold out for our last night. Here are my comparisons: 1. Location. D wins location hands down. 2 minutes to the boat launch, 1 min to the gas station/convenience/liquor and marine store… its impossible for T to beat! 2. Food. We visited mid sept and T restsurant was already closed. Anasazi at D was open and good enough given location, etc. Not gourmet but after a long day on the boat, I ate my whole plate and enjoyed an overpriced bottle of wine. On the otherhand, T has gas grills and a common area sink to do dishes. So, cook for yourself and save $$. We brought a collapsible Colman grill we used on our patio at D that evened that score for us. Tie 3. Rooms. The room was had at T was at least twice as large than at D and had a couch. Both were equally clean… ish. No coffee maker in room at T, just crappy coffee in the lobby all day. D offered a Keurig, but only 2 regular coffee capsules a day. Had housekeeping service only one of our 3 nights at D and were not able to check in until about 6 PM. T was clean and ready, this stay. Last time we stayed we were given a completely dirty room, like not cleaned at all from the last stay. Plus T's sheets were a dirty white color which was not appealing. Guess I'd have to give T this round. 4. Pets. Both hotels are pet friendly (yay! ) And have grass for my fur baby.

We usually go to Wahweap and stay at a hotel in Page, but due to time constraints we went to Bullfrog. The hotel was fine, but the restaurant was really good. We were not expecting much and the menu was pretty small. But everything we ordered was exceptionally good. However the reason I'm taking the time to write a review of Ticaboo is because of the service, especially by Ileen. She was waiting tables in the restaurant until late at night and then cleaning rooms at 7:00 am the next morning. We were there on a holiday weekend and they were short-handed so Ileen was was handling the crowd by herself. She was so good at making us feel welcome when she was exhausted. Props to Ticaboo for finding such great employees.

We loved everything that they had it was conveniently to get everything that we needed to get going back on the road again has and other things that we needed last minute thank you guys so much.

Our expectations were low, but we found the rooms sufficient for our needs. You don't go to this remote part of Utah to lounge around your hotel room. It's for showering and sleeping, and both are 5 stars here. Linens were clean, beds comfortable, water hot and good pressure, a/c is divine! We actually got our room temperature arctic and it was 107 outside. Some reviewers complain about the pool. We were there for the Lake, but the pool looked clean and we saw staff attending to it. Some also complain about housekeeping services. Our beds were not made each day, and we liked that. We don't want people coming in moving our stuff and fussing around. They brought us clean towels and restocked as needed, and otherwise left stuff alone. Perfect! Front desk, dining and base camp staff were extraordinary. We arrived late from a canyoneering adventure, but Moki's staff stuck around to cook us food to go! Remember these are seasonal employees, most are new each year. Imagine trying to staff a hotel in the middle of nowhere. Be patient and kind. There may not be fresh paint and carpet, but is that really important on a boating trip in the desert? Come ready for adventure and a clean, comfortable place to crash!

We stayed at a house with 1 master bedroom, 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, 3 queen beds, 4 twins, 1 futon, 2 sofas, 2 love seats, 1 small futon couch that folds down. Free Wi-Fi, nice amenities, washer, dryer, dishwasher, etc. The microwave was broken. Very large deck outside. Beautiful environment, right out in nature. Access to pool art main resort location. Would recommend.

We stayed one night October 2016. The lodge is clean and attractive, our stay was very comfortable. Our room was spacious and comfortable — nicely appointed, well-supplied. Coffee in the lobby, but no food/dining on site.

Go your way! Dirty, no maintenance… Bed not made, cleaning not more! Swimming pool unusable and very dirty … Outside of swimming : ditto
No breakfast and nothing around except a petrol station outside of price, where you will find supermarket
Their so-called restaurant "The grill" is just horrible! And then if like us you plan to explore the eastern end of Lake Powell : forget it … Not much to see and do except if you brood a boat, which will cost you 600$ (taxes and fuel included for 2: 30 /3h max. It's best to stick to stay on the Page, more touristy, and this is just normal since it is the only place worthwhile.

The receptionist was nice, and the overall feel was fine. However the room didn't feel well maintained. Overall it was a fine experience though.

We went to their restaurant for dinner. Had an amazing burger and the best fries I've had in a long time. Staff was very friendly.

Rooms under renovation new landscaping. Friendly team they are working hard and improving quickly. Must stay.

Double charged for our rooms, still haven't been refunded they DONOT offer contanintal breakfast it $10 for a breakfast buffet of the worst food you will ever eat. And also milkshakes are literally milk (lucky if cold) with chocolate pieces in it. SICK I wasn't gonna right a review but now that it is involving money that they took out of my bank charging me twice. I am overly disappointed.

I checked in this afternoon and the staff was great. Very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean. I had troubles with the cable tv. They came right up and pushed the power button (lol) I will definitely be back Ivan.

New owners have completely let this place go. The 4 nights we stayed here, our room didn't get cleaned once. The pool hadn't been cleaned in months. The food was terrible. They had maybe 6 things on the menu and half of the 6 items on the menu, they told us we couldn't order because they didn't know how to cook them. The girl who was sitting at the front desk was rude and not the least bit helpful. Saturday nights the front desk receptionist takes a break from 8:40 pm to 9:30 pm. If you arrive at the hotel during that hour and need to check in, you will find your room keys in a white envelop with your name on it sitting on the front desk. I have came to this resort the past 4 years and and they had exceeded my expectations. After this weekend I will never stay here again. This place is a dump. Do not waste your money on this place.

Great location — close to lake Powell. The rental center was ok. We reserved a boat. We didn't realize that we had to tow our own boat (bad miscommunication on our part) but there wasn't anything on the website stating so. A couple of the staff were nice when we first walked in and rushed to help us with our bags. We asked for 2 extra pillows the first night we were here. The front desk girl claimed that the other staff locked her out of the linen room so she couldn't accommodate and there was no one else here to let her in (even though the staff are foreign exchange students who live in the hotel. ) the next morning I went to the front desk and asked again for more pillows. They hesitated and said they would drop them off during the day. We came back to the hotel in the evening and of course, there were no pillows. So, I went back down to the front desk and the girl (the same was as the night before) said it was against policy for her to go get the pillows and that the housekeepers were gone for the evening… Even though the housekeepers were in the lobby sitting on the couch watching game 5 of the NBA finals. I asked for a manager, but apparently they were gone and there was absolutely no way of getting a hold of them. After making a little scene (because it's a hotel and it's 2 pillows) they brought us some. I didn't enjoy the run around and the fact that 2 pillow were such a huge problem.

Terrible. Staff acted like we were an inconvenience. Didn't say anything to us when we left or came in. When I complained about our room not being cleaned, Sherri, the manager blamed it on someone else. Never apologized and even tried to blame priceline for what happened. Last morning there staff tried to enter our room without knocking. Stay away. Go somewhere that appreciates your business. Steve.

With 3 guests in 80 some rooms, one of us per floor, it would be easy to be uneasy there then, a sort of “the Shining” feel, if it hadn't been for the super friendly and helpful staff who, like most everyone I met motorcycling thru southern Utah, made me feel like I was with friends back home. Nice place, handsome rooms, good beds, pillows, and tvs with some cable incl/movie channels. Plan carefully, as the local restaurants are not open much, at least off-season, and there's no place to get real groceries. The giftshop will get you thru the night, and you can cobble a PB&J from their condiments at breakfast, but it's a very long way from here to anything else, Don't skip the eastern leg of the Burr Trail, paved for a score or so miles, into Capital Reef NP, just south.

New manager proved to be a great experience. Newly renovated rooms had a great "feel" — a great experience! Best of both worlds. We will be coming back for years to come.
