Review of Quality Inn View of Lake Powell - Page 2*

We had a wonderful room with a view and excellent customer service. Kee, our concierge, made sure we were taken care of nicely and gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable and the shower had a multi spray head that just hit the spot. It was nice and quiet even with a bunch of tour buses that came and went. Our room looked out over the view of the lake/dam/canyon and was spectacular at sunset. They even had a few things that we had forgotten to bring with us like razors, shaving cream, deodorant, etc. That they provided upon request. The ice maker was down by the elevators and we couldn't hear it from our room, so that was perfect. We had a double queen room that came with a tv, microwave and fridge. The ironing board and iron are in the wardrobe and there's a small table to sit at. The beds were fairly firm and came with 4 square pillows on them instead of 2 standard sized pillows. The towels were typical hotel sized towels but they were fairly soft and worked well. They also provided towels to use at the pool. The pool is an out door pool and ended up being too cold for my kiddos to swim in when we were there. We had just gotten there after fairly cool, 80's, temperatures, so that wasn't surprising. It is a nice pool; just be aware that it isn't inside and it isn't heated. Breakfast is served down in the cafe and it was delicious. They had real eggs, scrambled, perfectly cooked potatoes, biscuits and gravy and blue corn grits. You can make your own Belgium waffles in their waffle makers and have warm maple syrup or have toast, pastries, cereal or yogurt with a side of fruit. They also have OJ, Apple juice, milk, coffee and tea. I was even able to find little packets of peanut butter to go on my toast. It was a fully stocked breakfast area and it all tasted great. The staff are very attentive and make sure everything is fully stocked and you can find what you need. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and the staff made sure we were happy. I would recommend the hotel to anyone staying in the area.
