Well located hotel with nice tables and barbecue.

June 2020 Location is walking distance to shops & restaurants. Hotel is very clean and modern with large spacious rooms. Covered pool area is great to avoid the hot sun of the day. Great outdoor seating space and great parking spaces. Breakfast not included due to Covid-19.

The room sid is well equipped with a fridge and coffee maker ec.

So far so good.
Reception were welcoming and helpful.

This is my favorite place to stay in Moab. Always clean, and very spacious rooms.

I get to stay here every year for some company meetings we hold down here and it is a great hotel. Location is great and within a short distance of all the food eating spots. Rooms have always been nice and clean for me. The breakfast in the morning is good. Mostly pretty standard but still good. I am sure I will be back soon. If you are looking for a food place super close walk across the street to the Mexican restaurant… it is one of the best I’ve ever been eaten at.

Excellent place to stay! Clean and large room! Staff was very friendly and accommodating! They went above and beyond to accommodate our large family! We will definitely be staying here again! Thank you for the great experience!

My husband and I stopped last minute as we were passing through. We hadn't planned on staying in Moab, but we are sure glad we did! Barbie at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. She told us about some local things going on that night and got us all set up in our room quickly. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a giant jet tub and 2 TVs in our king suite. The pool was refreshing and so cool because it is half inside half outside. We soaked in the hot tub and talked to the other guests. All in all, the atmosphere of the whole place was wonderful. It was cheaper than the other hotels so we were worried about the quality. We were so wrong to worry! We will stay here every time we pass through!

This hotel is budget friendly and exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean, nice and roomy. I did not hear much neighbor noise during my stay. Walking into the room the A/C was running on high, it was a thoughtful touch to have a cool room coming in from the heat. Breakfast isn't much. I would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed here for a couple nights, it was cool during the night and they had wide variety of breakfast for the mornings, the rooms was very clean and well kempt. It's next to numerous of gift shops, restaurants and even the small, cramped up, state liquor store as well. Gotta love that friendly, laid back staff though.

As any hotel in Moab, it is very overpriced for what it is. This was on the cheap side at $170 for one night. The rooms were decent sized, had normal amenities like mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The pool is pretty cool, it's indoor/outdoor. There are large doors that are open for nice weather, and let's you swim inside and outside. Breakfast was listed as "continental", but was much better. Lots of waffle makers so you never had to wait, with 3 different kinds of waffle mix. Sausages, juice, cereal, muffins, bagels, yogurt. Excellent selection. Breakfast area is also nice and large so you don't feel cramped trying to get food in the morning. Overall a good choice to stay at.

Room was clean and large! Bed was nice comfortable and sheets were clean. Pool was nice. Convenient vending machines. I liked it. Staff was mostly friendly.

The floor in my room was filthy, covered with hair of all types…! I arrived late at night, and I had to call housekeeping to come in the next morning and clean the floors. I specifically requested to clean the hardwood floor where the hair was extremely visible, as well as the shower floor which was dirty and also had tons of thick black hair in the drain, as well as vacuum the carpet. They cleaned the hardwood but did not vacuum the carpet, there were still the exact same pieces of debris/dirt on the carpet! Upon seeing the state of the flooring, I felt compelled to inspect the bedding. I found that the pillowcases had hair on them, and the brown blanket on the bed also had a long black hair on it… I took the bedding off the bed since I was not going to use anything but the white sheet (yeah, super comfy), and when housekeeping cleaned up they put the exact same blanket back on the bed… Either the blankets are not being washed between guests, or there is absolutely no double-checking linens and floors to ensure that the bedding is super clean for the next guest. There was a brown stain in the sink that I cleaned out. There was gunk on the bottom of the fridge. The marble tops of all the furniture surely disguises dirt that hasn't been dusted away. Amazingly, the microwave was clean. The hallway carpet was dirty when I arrived on Wednesday, with specific areas of debris, and these areas were still not cleaned when I left on Saturday… gross!

We had a reservation at the Hilton, but when we arrived to check in, we were told that the indoor pool is closed for construction. The kids were all super bummed, so we canceled our reservation & went to the only other place in town with an indoor pool. Not only were they half the price of Hilton, the customer service was the best I've ever experienced! This hotel is awesome! They treat their customers great, the rooms were great, & the pool was so much fun. I highly recommend them, & will be staying here for all of my future Moab trips.

Nice rooms. Will designed. Well maintained. No phone chargers. Most outlets not accessible — and charger falls out. Free breakfast. Getting tired of cheap waffles and watery sausage. Nice pool. Sauna was cold.

The room was clean, but it smelled musty. Staff was helpful. Regular price might be a bit high compared to others in the area. The breakfast is fantastic; there is a huge selection of quality food.

Very nice! Rooms were in good repair. Staff was attentive and very friendly. Continental breakfast was better than most places we've stayed.

Very clean. Exceptionally good service from Lincoln, the night shift guy. Good-sized rooms. The only issue is maybe they would want to research a different cleaning solution — it was a bit chemical smelling. And the price to do laundry was way too high ($2/load for wash and $2/load for dry). They should provide the correct fabric softener at front counter as well. The washers didn’t have a place for liquid softener so sheets would be better. Over all the value is there for the price definitely. And though we didn’t take advantage of the pool or spa, it looked amazing.

Helpful, friendly service. Nice rooms with a fridge and microwave and comfortable beds. Good breakfast with waffles. There is an indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub which is open all year. I would stay here again.

This is an hotel in Moab. The rooms were kind of cramped and the beds were a bit stiff. There was a lot of noise, we could easily hear the neighboring guests. We were impressed with the continental breakfast. Overall it was not terrible, but I think we would choose another hotel if we do decide to come back to Moab.

Booked off a deal on trip advisor — place was better than expected. Very nice rooms, pool and free breakfast. Great beds for an amazing night sleep — closely located to food and bars. Would strongly recommend staying here.

Surprisingly reasonable pricing at this time of year (first week of November with no major events). Front-desk manager was professional, courteous and helpful. Check-in was quick and easy. The room surprised and impressed us in all the right ways. We asked for a quiet area of the hotel, since the manager mentioned that several rooms were vacant, and we got exactly that, on the new third floor. The previous night at a different hotel, we cursed street noise and the neighboring room's TV all night long. At the Moab Valley Inn, I woke up a couple times in the early AM and heard … absolutely nothing. It was glorious. The room was clean, well-appointed and didn't smell, have broken equipment, and so on. There's an in-room safe that we didn't bother using. The breakfast experience: the standard waffle and juice approach worked well, but the conference room setup was loud and felt poorly arranged. A minor ding on an otherwise great stay; we'll be back for sure.

They have done a remodel recently and the hotel just feels better. I love that they have some rooms with 3 queen size beds! Breakfast was great way to start our days before heading out to see Moab and arches. Rooms were clean. Hotel easy to get in and out of. Hallways are small so don't really hear people walking up and down the halls. Pool is nice with the indoor outdoor layout and the hot tub felt great after a long day hiking and biking. I've stayed there twice and will continue to use. I think you'll be happy you stayed in this hotel.

Clean and comfortable. Good experience for the price. Staff friendly and welcoming. Location on the further end of town from Arches… hard to walk to town from here. Plenty of parking! Right next to Blue Pig, nice BBQ joint with live music. Free breakfast is nothing to write home about. I'd pass on that and drive into town for breakfast. Otherwise no complaints!

Our room was great only problem was that we had tree bugs in our room… There was a lot and we didn't know where they were going in from… and the breakfast was good but it could have. Been better…

Good clean hotel for a good price. The pool and hot tub were a lot of fun. Directly across the street from the Moab brewery which is a great place for a burger and brews. Highly recommend.

Great breakfast! One of very few places in the area with breakfast. Also, comfortable beds, nice shower, very clean. I will stay here again when we come back.

The hotel was a great value without compromising on quality. We had a double queen room and it was more spacious than expected. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was convenient and easy to find. It was right off the main street going through Moab, so it was easy to get back on the road to Arches or Canyonlands National Parks. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and quiet. Continental breakfast was also nice. Would definitely stay here again!

Honestly, I made the reservation last minute. I spoke to Jason who was very friendly and helpful. I got one of the last three rooms they had available considering it was Memorial weekend. I consider myself very blessed I got it. Upon arrival at checkin the gentleman behind the counter checked in three different parties without missing a beat and he kept his cool. The room was clean n everything was in working order. Thank you Moab Valley Inn. If we ever pass through Moab again I would consider myself lucky to stay with you. The Renner Family.

Pretty standard 3 star hotel. We ended up with one of the smaller rooms with 2 queens, but it was still more than big enough for a roll away. Breakfast was much better than expected and was held in a room with much more space than expected. Only complaint is some of the in room appliances were a bit dated, but worked just fine.

Got us in at 3 am in the morning with a AAA discount. Our room fit 4 people comfortably. The sink and was outside our bathroom so it made it easy to share the space. Continental breakfast was served in the morning as well!

So nothing really to complain in this hotel. Speedy checkin. Nice comfy rooms with all amenities. We had a hair dryer issue and it was replaced promptly. Moab is a small place so the location does not matter a whole lot as everyone kind of goes to Arches National Park or Monument Valley. We could not get to the breakfast as it was closed by the time we got up from the bed. The AC had some issue I guess since it wasn't cooling properly. But overall a very nice place to stay amongst the available accomodation and recommended for families.

Room a bit small but updated, bed comfortable. Breakfast not much to speak of. Enjoyed the spa and indoor/outdoor pool. Front desk staff was very courteous and responsive.

The hotel is older but fairly clean (found some hairs on the pillows) and well maintained… staff very courteous and helpful. The pillows weren't very good, and the mattress about average… and the doors don't keep out much noise from the hallway. Do not stay in a room across from the elevators or near the stairs! The indoor pool was nice, the complimentary breakfast was good, and the close proximity to Arches NP made the hotel a great value for the price.

Great service. Clean rooms. Breakfast had plenty. No scrambled eggs though. Coffee from machine at breakfast and not drip cup. You can go to lobby for drip cup though. Swimming pool is great.

Lower prices than most other hotels in Moab, but a really great experience! Rooms were good sized, clean, and comfortable beds. Breakfast was great. Would definitely stay here again. Only negative was the coffee, which tasted pretty bad.

We had a pretty good experience here, but it wasn't perfect. The staff was courteous and professional and the price was one of the best for a hotel so near downtown. The rooms were OK, but the bathroom needed some updating. The upstairs hallways carried noise into the rooms a little too much. The pool and hot tub would have been awesome except the hot tub was overfilled everytime I went to go check in out. I would recommend staying here because it's a good value.

The staff did not respond to our concerns about a dirty and dangerous room. There was bacon on the floor. Rocks in the HVAC unit. And the door stop was obviously broken and hanging on by a thread. Our 2-year-old could have really hurt himself. The only reason he didn't was because we got in so late that he went straight to bed. I went down to the desk about our concerns. Showed Ted pictures of the issues. Nothing could be done, no offer to clean the room. And no availability to either send us to another room or to another hotel. I sent a message and photos to the general manager's phone number as well as to her email, right then and there. I never heard back from her. I'm only posting this as late as I am because this was the earliest possible moment for me to post. We stayed from 4/22-4/23 2016. It's 5/5/16. The only thing they offered us was a discount on the room. The lack of attention is really telling. I will never stay here again and will recommend staying literally anywhere else. The nicest part of the hotel was the hallway. Photos are in the comments.

The suite was amazing. The hotel is away from main street, so there was less noise. Great restaurants near by. The room was very clean and neat. The jetted tub was great after a long day hiking.

Wi-fi didn't work most of the time and when it did, the speed was incredibly slow. We can usually use our phones with data if need be, but not in this location (no fault of Moab Valley Inn on that one, but it means that no Wi-Fi = no internet).

Best stay of our Utah trip, with respect to cost, friendly staff, great rooms.

Clean, spacious room with a comfy bed. Nice staff. Not a hot-towel establishment, but great for what it is. Tempted to dock a star for ending breakfast at 9 (who wants to get up early when you're on vacation?! ), but other than that…

Room was clean, breakfast was standard continental breakfast. Stayed for one night, picked due to price point and wasn't disappointed. Could have payed a lot more for similar services.

The Inn is the best kept secret in Moab… Clean and well kept rooms … great staff.

Clean and nice location. Staff was nice. Strangely, we asked for a few extra pillows and they were out, but we also stayed during Jeep Jamboree and marathon weekend. So they were pretty busy. If you enjoy waffles and a "high-carb" breakfast, then you'll love the breakfast. Would be nice if they added some protein options such as eggs (other than hard boiled, cause lets just face it, most kids will not eat a hard boiled egg unfortunately) or sausage or even bacon and fruit other than banana/apple. Would stay here again.

Very nice room and friendly staff. We can't comment on the breakfast, because we didn't eat it, but based on the rest of the experience, we're sure it would've been great. The hotel was very well placed and had a nice pool; would definitely recommend.

Top rate staff, top rate and renovated rooms, top rate service. Been here many times before and we will definitely be back.

For $170 it was not at all what my husband and I expected. Our room did not look like it had been remodeled — refurbished a bit but not remodeled. The breakfast was terrible — mostly carbohydrates except for hard boiled eggs and all the drinks came out of machines. There was no half and half for the coffee only artificial cream. I would not stay here again. Overpriced and under expectations. Disappointed, very disappointed. Our stay was early May 2014.

I would rate this hotel a 4.5/5. This hotel is great value! It is newly renovated (April 2014) and was very comfortable to stay in. The continental breakfast is great! Overall my husband and I had an awesome experience at this hotel. Perfect for a Moab getaway!

Properly. Since you are in Moab not many Alternatives, we have in this (for utah) expensive inn slept and were very satisfied. Unfortunately the small room is already booked, so we had two 6 beds, but all were clean! :-) The "continental breakfast", is like everywhere else in the area for a Frühstücksliebenden Europeans, of course, not to be taken seriously…
