This place has a lot of character. Breakfast snacks in the room.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was beautiful and clean, and it felt just like home. A breakfast snack was left for us every morning. We did not try the lava tube tour. The location is excellent to Volcanoes National Park (allowing us to see the lava glow at sunrise), and the location is also fairly convenient to Hilo, beaches, the lava hike and much more.

Room is big enough for a family of four. Complementary breakfast includes fresh fruits, oatmeal and muffins. Surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. Very nice place to stay after touring the national park.

Nice atmosphere, good food and drinks, and right next to several natural sights to visit. The lava tube was fun, and there are bike tours nearby as well.

A wonderful place to stay during any trip to the Volcanos national park. The rooms were cozy and comfortable and the Kazamura Lava Cave tour conducted by Shanon the owner of the property was an awesome experience from a different world. The access is not the easiest and one needs to be physically fit to climb down and up the ladder. We did not go too far but saw plenty of unique lava formations like Lava stalactites and colourful mineral deposits.

Unique facilities with friendly and generous hosts. Treehouse room is one of a kind. Great option for an adventurous trip to Volcanoes National Park.

I didn't go for the lodge, rather visited the Lava Tube shortly. It was quite interesting but we only spend a short time there.

We really enjoyed staying in the Treehouse and touring the lava tube. I would definitely recommend it, if you are feeling a little adventurous and don't mind a simple but fun accomodation.

Large, spacious rooms in a quiet and almost right at the entrance to the National Park located, family run including guided tour through the own lava tube; However generally rather poor infrastructure and with bugs and all sorts of other creatures in the room.

This little B&B was awesome. The tour of the lava tube was very insightful and their local knowledge led us to a wonderful experience at Volcano National Park. Would highly recommend anyone stay here if you are visiting the park.

My fiancé and I thought this would be a nice place to stay for our honeymoon. Their website does not have any way to book directly, so I sent an email as they requested. After several days of getting no response, I booked with another B&B. I'm glad they seem to be doing so well that they can afford to pick and choose their clients, but even a polite "go away" would be better than the rude silence we were shown.

Aloha Crater lodge was located in a lush green landscape extremely close to the national park which we loved very much. The owners were very nice and accommodating. We would stay here again if we the opportunity arose, there were a lot of nice touches to this business minded family looking to capitalize on their location with what they had to provide for visitors.

Extra nice place! Wonderful place to stay if you want to explore the area. The owners are extremely nice and they can recommend you great places to visit. They also offer a private tour to the lava tube in their property highly recommended! We would come back without any doubt! ;).
