My husband stays in these types of hotels all the time & I never have a problem with calling his room, no matter what time. Well I just tried to call my husband's room & the lady working at the front would not connect me because she said its their policy not to connect to rooms this late. I am sorry but my husband's phone died & if I need or want to talk to my husband she has no right not to connect to his room. On the website it does not say nothing to there customers that we can't call & connect to any room late at night. I am beyond pissed cause he works long hours & has to have extra help waking up & that normally means me calling his room when he don't hear his phone cause he is a deep sleeper when working late & the room phones are normally loud as crap. So please show me the policy where the employees at the front desk can't connect a person to a room this late. If anyone can show me where to find it on the website then I apologize for this post but if not then I want a apology from the lady that was getting rude with me when I was trying to explain why I needed to connect to MY HUSBAND'S ROOM. (It's not like I am some dumb woman just calling) If she needed any info, I could give all the info that I am his wife!

The room was nice and the service was excellent.

The hotel is easy to find, the rates are reasonable. It’s very clean and smells sanitized.

As I find myself in Waco at least 1 time every month, this Hotel has become one of our favorites! staff is warm and friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is one of the best I've had at this kind of Hotel. All of these things are the reasons I keep booking here.

I've been here for 2 weeks and the service is great. They serve a pretty good breakfast with sausage or bacon and biscuits and gravy. Housekeeping staff does a great job.

Great. Very clean and spacious suite. Bed very comfortable. Friendly Staff. I would definitely go back again. Sits on a crazy round about so don't go pass it or you'll have to go around again.

Quality hotel that is always improving, been there several times in so many years and they always seem to add something new and different. They are very accommodating to large groups and always happy to help, be it a broken room key or more towels, they'll always get the problem solved and do it with a smile. They even opened the pool in February upon request. The staff is genuinely interested in your well being.

It wasn't bad. I liked that we got a discount at Texas Roadhouse. Little expensive for the lack of updated design/furniture.

We booked a room online and pre-paid in full. Due to a medical emergency with my daughter, we had to cancel our vacation and therefor needed to cancel our reservation with Comfort Suites. When I called in to explain the situation, the receptionist said that it's company policy NOT to cancel reservations under ANY circumstances if you pay in advance…! I would think with a 6 Week notice, an emergency cancellation is acceptable (like it is at any other hotel we've stayed in). Very disappointed in their customer service and will stay elsewhere on our future travels…

Best hotel in Waco, hands down! It is everything from the staff, breakfast, and the cleanliness of the hotel inside and out that make this the BEST HOTEL IN WACO! Oh and did I mention that it's right across from the Magnolia Table restaurant.

This is one of the cleanest and friendliest properties we have ever been to. Their customer service goes above and beyond. If you stop at the desk and ask for directions to local entertainment or even the local Wal-Mart the front desk will give you a card with turn by turn directions to help you see all the sites. Between the clean facilities and the unparalleled service this location is the only place our family will stay in Waco. Thank you for being so customer oriented.

I'm a loyal Hilton Honors member, but with their hotels being completely booked, I chose the Comfort Suites. It's location was ideal to reach the Extraco Events Center and the reviews on other sites were really good. Accommodating staff, delightful breakfast, a discount at the next door Texas Roadhouse (happens to be a favorite chain) and a clean, comfortable room made my experience great! Definitely will stay here next time I'm in town.

I booked a room with two queen beds. My husband sleeps on a full size bed and assured me it was two fulls we had in the room. We tried laying side by side as we do on my queen bed and found it too small. I know how wide a standard queen is as I lay across one on my stomach to use my computer on a daily basis. The tops of my feet hit the edge of the bed when my elbows are resting on a queens bedside edge. This has been my experience both at home and while traveling. At this hotel however, my ankles were floating in mid air as the bed was several inches short of a standard queen. A full sized bed would be a better match to what I found in the room. I questioned the front desk staff about the wrong bed size in the room at check out. She told me that I had a queen bed. I asked if it was a mini queen. She said no, it was a standard queen. I asked again if it might have been a full bed. She again said it was a queen. I am sure of what size a queen is. My legs did not grow and then shrink again when I got home. I am not too dense to recognize that this was false advertising. This experience was beneath what I have come to expect from this hotel chain. It is bad to make a mistake with the advertised bed size. It is far worse to lie about it. I will look into making a complaint with the BBB. I am that angry about it.

I stayed here during the hurricane evacuation and it was a really pleasant experience. Very quiet & comfortable atmosphere. I would get fresh towels and sheets every morning. The front desk would wash & fold my dirty laundry. Free breakfast. Over all, I would stay here again.

This is a great hotel in Waco. We stay here often when we visit our kids, who both attend Baylor University. It's always clean, comfortable, quiet, and accommodating, with an awesome staff and breakfast. We would highly recommend this hotel!

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times, and so I've gotten a feel for some of the quirks of the place. Despite this, I always come back to this Comfort Suites when visiting Waco. I'll go through the pros and cons of the place, but the short and suite (ha) version is: this is a great place for a one or two night stay that won't break the bank. PROS: 1) The rooms are large and the beds are super comfy. There's plenty of pillows with varying fluffiness, so it's easy to get a great night's sleep. 2) Breakfast is pretty good. Not restaurant quality of course, but it's pretty tasty and there's enough variety that even picky eaters can find something. 3) Clean bathrooms! I'd rate the bathrooms as safe for bare feet. 4) 24/7 complimentary tea, coffee, and hot chocolate (in addition to what's in your room) 5) Super friendly staff! I've never once had an issue with staff, and I've been here often enough that I'm a little surprised I haven't run into someone just having a bad day. CONS: 1) The humidity! And for you Central Texas folk who are rolling their eyes at this complaint, know that I am one of you, and I know what a air conditioned room should feel like. The A/C is great at keeping the room cold, but don't expect that damp sheet feel to go away. However, I've noticed that this problem does tend to vary between rooms, so you may not have a problem at all. And, naturally, hotter days are worse. 2) There's a shortage of parking on-site.

I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. The staff was so nice and friendly even when we came rolling in at 12:30 am, exhausted from a baseball game in Arlington. She engaged us in conversation while checking us in and made the check-in process quick and smooth. She was wonderful! The room was so much nicer than I expected. The bed was comfortable and the room was set up nicely. We had a view of the pool which appeared really nice and clean too even though we didn't swim. We were going to join in on the breakfast but we were so tired from the previous day that we didn't make it in time. But the breakfast area looked really clean and they served quite a bit of options. Easiest check-in and check-out experience I've ever had. We were thoroughly pleased with our stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again next time I visit Waco for an overnight trip. Really impressed!

We stayed there a couple of months ago and the staff was fantastic! We're staying there again tonight and I look forward to another wonderful experience.

Room was comfortable. The shower had a very narrow range between cold and scalding hot. Big breakfast selection.

Our unplanned road trip to the beach began after I took a wrong turn south on our way home from an Anime convention in Dallas. We needed to book a hotel that was both close to the beach, within our budget, and included a breakfast buffet. A quick Internet search confirmed that the Comfort Suites Central in Corpus Christi/Padre Island was our best option. Making the reservation was easy and, when we arrived at midnight, the manager had everything ready, including the extra blankets and pillows we requested. Comfort Suites Central in Corpus Christi is super clean and fresh. Anyone scanning my Google reviews knows that cleanliness is what I most report on and am super picky about. The room was immaculate. The bedding linens + duvet were a nice surprise, as they were pretty much identical to those of the luxury hotel we stayed at in Dallas. Breakfast was easy and nicer than I have come to expect with hotels with similar breakfast buffet setups. What made this one better was their staff, who were friendly and helpful. I dont know how else to describe it, save to say that they were almost invisible as they did their tasks: no food crumblies anywhere, the fruit bowls & various food was well-stocked, coffee urns/creamers filled and, despite my spilling cereal, no fuss at all. (What great employees! ) I've stayed at lots of hotels and I'm not easy to please. Comfort Suites Central gets an "A+" from me.

We are Choice Hotel members so we stay often in Comfort Suites. This was one of our favorites. Our first impression was a call to the hotel when we made a wrong turn. The desk clerk (Ashley) gave us turn by turn instructions and remained on the phone until we had the hotel in sight. How many desk clerks could do that? The room was clean and very comfortable and our stay was great. Not the best neighborhood or the easiest hotel to get to, but we highly recommend it. Met several staff including a very attentive manager. Choose this hotel when visiting Magnolia Market. They have the info.

5 star hotel, but our whole floor smelled like bad. Other then that 10/10

It was a good stay all together. Showers were AMAZING nice and hot. Beds were good. The pictures made it look like the carpets were super blue or something. It didn't even phase me when I walked in. Breakfast was good. Not too cazy of options but enough to satisfy. (Cheked in @ 2 am though) haha.

Good location, close to Baylor University. Room was real nice, staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was pretty good except the eggs. I don't like the round frozen type eggs, however, the rest seemed good. Fro those who need to leave early (before breakfast area opens) there was a " Grab and Go " sack at the desk with water, a breakfast bar, and another item for you to take with you. I stay at a lot of Choice Hotels and this is the first time I have seen these available for guests.

I have stayed twice at this hotel and found the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. I would recommend it.

I'm glad to post this review because my trip to Waco was cut short and I did not have the opportunity to express my gratitude to the manager and staff. Everyone I came in contact with were cheerful and very helpful. No matter what the issue — dining, directions, minor issues with the room — I felt my hosts went out of their way to care for my needs. I was impressed — Thank you!
