Disgusting carpet and AC barely works. Creepy shirtless methheads walking around at night. “Provided breakfast” is coffee, juice, and waffles. Nothing else. Probably the worst hotel I’ve been to. No other la Quinta has been this awful.

My TV doesn't work and we called and they said maintenance would be over to fix it and never showed up and we called 3x's it's a little dirty on the outside and I believe theres drug addicts renting from here.

Great price, clean room, dog friendly.

No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Room fills up with steam. Loose plugs and the TV and a lamp were plugged into an extension cord run along a wall and plugged in behind the bed. Very second rate accommodations.

Courtney and Dusty were amazing at customer service! spotless inside and out. Great bar.

Our stay was great. The room was very clean. The bed was comy. It had a closet iron and ironing board coffee pot. Nice desk and the staff was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice, clean rooms. Staff very friendly. Beds are comfortable, and don't feel really cheap. Great water pressure in the shower, with consistent hot water. Only major complaint is there any no outlets. Want to charge your phone? Your gonna have to unplug a lamp.

We stay here every time we come to Tyler for my grandchildren's special events… Older… beds are clean and comfortable… updates being done… staff is very friendly… nice breakfast bar… great location and price. Only negative is a few shady people lingering about. Which all motels have.

Here now and I will be here for total of (2) days. Am in a handicap accessible room which is serving me well. Person came in and refreshed room for me. She was very nice and efficient. Having membership rewards thru La Quinta, have been to many different ones. Some are better than others. Staff friendly and very professional. Only thing I see and can say is this place has been here for many years. The upkeep has kept me enjoying the LQ INN.

Only reason given a star was due to location and friendly front desk. BUGS, BUGS everywhere! Do not recommend. This truely is a 1 at most 2 star hotel.

This hotel was kept in poor condition. The door couldn't lock unless you lifted the door up by the handles. There were broken items in the room. The pool area was dangerous and unclean. Our daughter was walking poolside and fell into the skimmer. The should have been locked tight but it was loose causing my daughters leg to be injured. Will not be staying here again.

Not very clean and it smelled bad. There are other nicer LQs in Tyler you should stay at.

The only reason I gave one star is for the front desk staff who was very helpful other wise I would give them a goose egg and thumbs down for cleanliness and saftey.

Very clean was more then we expected. Love there breakfast. So much more then others.

Swim, shower and slept well. Breakfast was a plus. I appreciate your the attention to details.

Apparently doing construction at 10pm is normal, and so is not informing the customers when they check in. The least they could have done was move us to a room away from the construction, but instead, we get “I can refund your money and you can leave”, followed by the lady at the front desk hanging up on us. After spending the day driving, we wanted to stop and rest but that isn’t happening.

Got in around 8 PM. Multiple issues with our room. Went to the desk, they didn't have a maintenance man on duty. Gave us another room. Still issues, cracked sink, shower won't drain. Not the best experience!

We will NEVER stay here again! This LaQuinta gives the chain a bad name with squeaky bed, dirty carpet, visible light under door entry, bugs in the bathroom; need I say more. Although friendly faces at the front desk are nice, this hotel needs a renovation real bad.

Staff is awesome. Really flexible and helpful Rooms were fine Area is okay I have been in nicer looking LA Quinta's but overall very satisfied.

Check in was smooth. Room is nothing to write home about. Mostly clean, a few dead (yay) roaches, great shower.

Only thing keeping this from one star was the front desk service. Aside from that, it was pretty terrible. The tub was gross, the toilet wouldn't flush, and I have multiple bug bites of unknown orgin after last night. I would have asked for a refund, but I was much too tired. I wouldn't recommend starting there.

Definitely a quality location to stay at for the night, just off the 323 loop so easy access to all of Tyler. Very clean and nice employees there.

Good value for the hotel. Rooms were clean and good size. Coffee was too weak though and bathroom was a bit outdated. But overall good value for the price.

Clean room. Ok check in. Air conditioner in my room could use some work but otherwise not a bad value.

I am an Elite member of La Quinta and again I am so so disappointed in this hotel… I moved from one room already because the shower didn't work, now the 2nd room… The people staying in the room up stairs were fighting well after midnight and 730 this morning they started fighting again which woke me up again. Now my toilet won't flush… I am not just disappointed in this hotel I will guarantee after my stay this time I will never stay here again… Im not up here in this hotel for pleasure, I am up here because I am having to bury my mother. I give you 1 star because of the fact that the staff have been very nice.

The breakfast is delicious. And the bed and pillows. Omg. The best sleep I got all year. And the property is very peaceful and quiet. Omgeeee. I am so coming back.

I wish I would have gotten the lady's name that was working the front desk tonight! BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have EVER HAD! She was so sweet and answered all of my questions before I even asked them! Whatever this sweet lady is making an hour isn't enough! She is EXACTLY what hospitality should be! She totally made my night better with her warm smile and pleasant attitude!

Location was close to town, Service was very straightforward (i. E. No jumping through hoops) I loved the hotel, very well kempt.

Good rate, decent room nothing special But slept well. Also fairly good continental breakfast.

Very friendly and helpful front desk. Room was clean and sheets were fresh. I would stay here again. They shut down breakfast way to fast walked in at 9 am thing already picked up?

The room was clean and the staff courteous. The motel shows its age and needs renovation. The room was a good value given the relatively low price.

The rooms were clean, but there was no microwaves nor refrigerators in them. Our room, 202, was adjacent to the lobby, so we did not have to go far to warm food. There was no workout facility. The pool was fine and the Wi-Fi worked great. The staff quickly responded to any issues and readily had additional towels, wash cloths, and face towels. The breakfast was included in the rate. The rate was fine, which made the overnight stay fine. I did find that you have to request a refrigerator and a microwave if you want one in the room for a few dollars more.

The staff at the front desk and house keeping are honest and very helpful. I was a flood victim with four others with me. The staff help me in every way. The building and grounds need more attention, but the staff I dealt with were five stars. Building and grounds upkeep was a two and a half…

Excellent service, everyone had a smile on their face, so helpful. The room was so clean, Housekeeping went out of their way to make sure our room was perfect. Breakfast was awesome. Great location, everything from BBQ to Seafood restaurants near the Hotel. The front desk person very helpful giving directions when I asked her how to find Bodacious. I will return to this La Quinta Inn very soon.

It was exactly what we needed in the exact right place for the exact right price it was infinitely clean. There was a pool. Well behaved dogs are allowed. A very civilized place on the ring road around Tyler, right next door to Greek and BBQ — great restaurants​ highly recommended! Amazing front desk staff very accommodating. Breakfast the usual. Laquinta's got my business!

The fourth had problems. Half of the curtain was not there. The lock did not work. The breakfast was not good.

Pay a little more and stay at the best western plus up the road! Non smoking rooms smell like smoke bad! Old property not well taken care of at all. Had to cancel my reservation made weeks in advance because it stank like smoke so bad.

Room was clean, bed fairly comfortable but a/c wouldn't stay on & no continuous fan option. When a/c kicked off room would get muggy & we kept temp at 64 degrees.

I was hoping to give a better review but as soon as I went into my room the odor of cigarette smoke reminded me that it was not going to be a good experience. The building is old and run down and it either needs major remodeling or needs be torn down and another one built in its place. The rest room was clean but very small. The room seemed small and dated. Lamps, tables, chairs seem like it has not been updated in a while. I stayed there with other family member who they also said their room had either a mildew smell mixed with cigarette smoke or bed bugs and sticky carpets. I ask the lady in the front desk about the cigarette smoke and she said that customers are not supposed to smoke in the rooms but that they can't do anything about it. I would think they would have some sort of fee if the person who stayed in it smoked and he or she would get charged for the cleaning. Over all it was not a very pleasant experience staying there. I would not recommend it as a place to stay if your are looking for a nice place. If you don't mind the smoke, mildew smell and sticky stained carpets then it would be perfect.

It's so discusting and nasty hotel you enter to the room they stink old and nasty molding carpet. My husband got alot of bed bug bites on his body. The restroom is very stinky and molding smell. Very bad hotel not recommended.

I always stay at La Quintas whenever possible because the rooms are nicely furnished, they're clean, there is usually a fridge and microwave, and they have a free breakfast. Best of all, they are very affoedable, usually well under $100. The club points accumulate quickly and I have been able to use them easily whenever I've stayed in a city where they are priced outside my usual budget. I have found them to be consistently high quality, and this one in Tyler was no different. My only complaint — I love the waffles at breakfast, but this was the second LA Quinta in a row that was serving a tasteless sugar-free maple syrup. I almost knocked off a star for that. Please bring back the old sugary syrup!

Nasty and dirty! Shower curtain and boogers all on it when I reported to front desk she wanted me to get new one and change it out! Pool was nasty. Kids felt slimy after they got out. My cousin room was dirty too. The restroom was dirty.

Trucker friendly. Park your rig on Professional Drive. Nice rooms. Old but in good shape. Inside pool far from noise…

Checked in and had to walk through dozens of cigarette butts on the motel balcony to get to our room only to find that it was occupied with someone else's luggage and empty beer bottles. I returned the door keycards to the lobby and went to Holiday Inn. The $30 rate difference was more than worth the trouble.

Rooms were great. Staff not so friendly. Ashley, who checked me in was rude and and when I asked questions, she began raising her voice as if she didn't have the time to be bothered. I would not stay at this hotel again, if I had to deal with her.

Pretty Good hotel nice staff and clean rooms. The hotel is a little older but in good shape.

The faciilty was very nice and well maintained on the outside. When entering to check in it appeared the clerk was just getting off duty so no smile, no conversation — just take care of business and move on and wasn't interested in answering questions, etc. Arriving in the room and just wanting to take a shower and lay down, the tub/shower had cracked caulking which had mildewed in many places, so had to climb into a shower with black mildew everywhere, then noticing the baseboards in the bathroom did not appear to have ever been wiped down, After show, tried to relax and read paper in a very comfortable chair, but when I pulled it closer to the light there were dead roaches under the chair. Upon checkout we very quietly told the clerk that there were dead roaches in the room under the chair and she advised no that they were beetles. We explained that we knew the difference between a roach and a bettle, but she insisted there were no roaches. Probably would stay there again if they did a bit better job of cleaning as the facility was nice, just needed a little TLC.

Good value and pet friendly.
