Staff was friendly and kind! The location is fantastic! The grounds were immaculately maintained and the pools (yes there are multiple) were awesome! Hot tub was lovely as well. The rooms were standard but very clean and comfortable. They provide sodas in the lobby as you’d like them and the breakfast was a larger selection than most chain motels. We are already planning our next stay and will not hesitate to stay here again! I highly recommend this hidden gem!

Excellent hotel. Bettina was so helpful. I needed two rooms on main floor and she made a major effort to accommodate our request. Brie was also helpful getting us checked in.

We had reservations for a handicapped room for 6 months. We’re told check in time was 3:00–no earlier. When we arrived the room was not ready. We neeeded a room immediately so they offered another supposedly a handicapped room. If you need a handicap room DO LET THEM PUT YOU in ROOM 143. It is not handicapped accessible.

Way, way, way over-priced for what is basically a motel. We paid $370 for one night. Unbelievable, when amenities are comparable to a Red Roof Inn. If you don’t mind paying triple what it should be, then it’s fine. Personally, I won’t go back and do not recommend it. Breakfast is abysmal.

The worst. Showed up to a bunch of bikers smoking outside our MOTEL room. We checked into the tiny room and the A/C wasn’t working and the shower was running a constant drip. No way we were staying there for our anniversary. Gentleman at the front desk guaranteed us a full refund. Took us weeks of calling daily to get only partial refund. We would never return or recommend this disgusting place to anyone.

Booked room through Priceline and called “hotel” (it’s a motel) to advise that we’d be bringing our 2 small dogs so they could reserve appropriate room. When we arrived today, they denied any knowledge of the dogs & stated they had no more 1st floor dog rooms. Instead, they put us in literally the last room at the far corner of the property, accessible only by uncovered metal stairs outdoors — fun carrying dogs up & down in the rain! This is obviously “the room of last resort that they hope to never have to use: hair in sheets, large pee stain on comforter, mirror falling off of wall, badly stained tub. For $150/night I expected more. Can’t leave as we’d like to, however, because we had to confirm payment to get that “wonderful” rate! NEVER again.

Most of our wedding party stayed here last weekend for my son & daughter-in-law's wedding. We had a wonderful time and loved winding down in the swimming pool in the evening. The morning breakfast was delightful with hot coffee and fresh scrambled eggs. The Barons Creek Conference Center was perfect for the rehearsal dinner as Kelli and her team made sure we had a great event! Thank you FI&S for a wonderful weekend!

I booked our room here for our anniversary and it was perfect! Our room did get over booked but they gave us another one and it was perfect pool side! Plus gave us a free bottle of wine and a discount off our stay! It’s a beautiful hotel and met some friendly people! It’s walking distance from shopping and restaurants! The pool and hot tub were so beautiful and relaxing! Will definitely stay there again! The staff was so very friendly and sweet!

There are lots of cool places to stay in Fredericksburg but this place met our every need. Conveniently located very close walking distance to shopping restaurants and the WWII museum. They have a great outdoor and pool area. The property is extremely clean and well maintained. The rooms open to the outside and ours was very near the pool. My wife and I originally planned to stay three nights but we extended to five. If you are planning a family reunion or business meeting call Kellie and let her help you. They have good meeting facilities. We will be back!

Dearing the winter cold front my husband & I & elderly parents & son & his wife & children came to stay days when our power was out, we are so blessed by the kindness & hospitality they showed us, I have zero complaints & the beds are very comfortable, I will always recommend your place forever, thank you The Hastings family.

My wife and I just spent five days here teaching an art class. The brand new classrooms could not have been better. Everything brand new. Great light, projector screen. Everything worked beautiful. What really made our experience perfect was the staff, especially Kelly. She was there everyday at 7am making sure everything was working, checked in on us multiple times during the day too. Everybody helped us to have a great class. Thank you Kelly and the rest of your great crew.

This is a constant stop! I love this hotel! It is quaint! They are pet friendly and the pool is amazing! Outside covered television area, creek side family/pet area. The rooms are Immaculate.

Bad service! Employee stormed into our room after 1 knock just because we didn’t answer our call while sleeping. Emailed manager and never heard back. The place is so nice looking but the service is not.

Me and my wife were here for one night for our Honeymoon but it is a beautiful hotel next time we stay we will take advantage of the hot tub and pool and there's a great breakfast and helpful staff will definitely be coming back.

We booked a large block of rooms at Fredericksburg Inn & Suites for our wedding, and could not have been more pleased! From the very beginning, Kelli did a phenomenal job working with us to help secure as many rooms as possible for our guests. She was kind, professional, and always responded quickly to our phone calls and emails! Throughout our entire wedding week in Fredericksburg, everything was simply perfect. The hotel has its original charm, but the rooms have been recently renovated and all of the common areas are well designed. Our family and friends had a blast, lounging poolside or in the scenic seating areas. By the time we left, everyone felt like family. This hotel was absolutely wonderful and we will definitely be returning here to relive our wedding week. Thank you!

Charming setting. Up-to-date rooms with great lighting, quiet setting, and artwork that captures the area. Food in abundance in the morning, snacks available all day. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We look forward to going back.

Nice comfy bed, clean venue. The hot breakfast was decent. Enjoyed the outdoor seating and beverage selection. We were disappointed that we did not have an opportunity to use the pool, as a large extended family had overrun it all day during our visit. The bathroom door situation is weird. It's a sliding door that doesn't fully close. I prefer a more secure door as I enjoy privacy. This is a nice hotel for families, but we'll probably stay elsewhere if we return again sans kids.

It was in a very nice location right next to main Street. The hotel itself was pretty nice. It had a big open area for fun and games that was also next to a small Creek. Overall a nice place that I would stay at again.

I had a great stay at this hotel until the lady at breakfast was rude to me for throwing my trash in the "wrong" trash can. Pros: close to main Street. Nice pools. Decent breakfast. Majority of staff is pleasant. Comfortable rooms. Cons: coffee maker in room was not cleaned. Parts of the hotel, such as the tubs, really show their age. Some equipment in breakfast area is broken. Some of the staff are rude. I would normally recommend this hotel to any of my friends who are going to Fredericksburg, but I may be more hesitant to do so after my most recent stay.

Well Would have loved it like any other time we have gone here. But this year I brought my mom and sister to stay a week before the reunion and shop and just spend some quality time together, So made my reservations in May For the last week of July2018. We get to the inn after five, and I take the conformation email they sent me in the lobby with me. I was told that they did not have any Double Queens on the bottom floor as I had requested, Long story short we went somewhere else the next day. If you are not going to reserve the Room then why have reservations.

I always enjoy a visit to this picturesque town and the ruggedly beautiful Texas Hill Country around it. A visit here can be steeped in history, including the heavy German ancestry that settled here. There are many historic sites, museums and historic markers. (Don't miss the Nimitz museum! ) A visit could be an exploration of the amazing natural features nearby, including a hike up Enchanted Rock. Now, with the proliferation of wineries, you could spend days on wine tastings. Food is tasty and plentiful, whether you want local fare, a great burger or barbecue. Also, there are opportunities for swimming in natural rivers and streams.

Great experience and affordable. The staff, the facilities, rooms, breakfast buffet, and parking. Perfect walking distance to Main St. For shops, wine tours, restaurants, and everything Fredericksburg has to offer. Definitely recommend staying here!

When I booked it was for a king room pool facing. This didn't happen it was also supposed to be bottom floor and with my health issues climbing stairs is very hard. None of this happened. Top floor in the fartherest corner of the property. I asked immediately after check in to change and they said sorry we can't change it. I saw tons of people check in after us getting bottom floor rooms. We checked in shortly after 3 their regular time to check in. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Yuk! And the parking was equally bad we had to park up front by the office and walk to the very back of the property. Not a good first experience. I even called and asked for room specifications and they said well it is not noted in computer so I guess the employees are not very good at doing their job. One and done. Would not recommend. We met a few couples out by the fire pit who also had room issues that they said sorry we can't do nothing about it. We will not be back!

Rooms felt very homelike, almost like an apartment. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The area is close to the museum as well as a tasty burger place. The pool at the hotel is gorgeous! Never seen anything like it. I loved how nice the staff was and how they made me feel right at home. 10/10 would definitely go again.

The hotel was in a great location, the grounds were very pretty and the rooms were clean. We arrived at the hotel around 3:30 and was told our room was not ready and it would be ready in about 15 minutes, they asked I leave my cell number and they would call me. We waited in a friends room for a while and then decided to take a walk. After two hours I called the hotel and they informed me my room was just now ready. I went to check in and it was around 6pm and another member in our group had arrived and tried to check in, once again the room was not ready, the gentlemen once again told her 15 mins and to leave her number, she eventually got her room closer to 7pm. There was no apology from the staff, the only way explanation was “we are busy”. The hotel itself needed some attention, it seemed they had done some modernization in the rooms but out bathroom door would not close and I almost fell down the stairs as my shoe got caught in the rusted step. Breakfast was OK but they were not able to keep things replenished very quickly. For the price we paid I expected much more, a disappointing stay.

Wonderful hotel. Within walking distance of the main strip. They have a wonderful breakfast each morning. Cookies served in the afternoon. You can purchase snacks and alcohol at the front desk. Pool is beautiful. I'm very glad we stayed here.

Our most favorite-est place to stay in FBG. Perfect location; quiet, clean and relaxing. We love the decor, the pools (yes, pools) ; the beds are great, and the rates can't be beat. We have been very lucky to get upgraded each time we've stayed.

Fantastic staff. Rooms are neat and clean although a little small. Just a couple blocks from Main Street but very quiet.

Overall we were very satisfied with this place! We loved the convenient location, we were able to walk everywhere with the exception of the wineries on our bus tour, the recent update was well executed, very modern now, and the fact that they are pet friendly made it a perfect spot for us! There was plenty of space to walk the dog around and doggy bags were provided as well as convenient disposal areas. The price was higher than what I'm used to paying for other similar places, but still one of the more reasonable options in town when I compared prices. We didn't ever take advantage of the complementary breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. The beds were mostly comfortable, a little firm for me. The oversized bath towels were my favorite! Our little exposure to the staff was all pleasant. The pool, fire pit, and other outdoor patio areas would be nice to enjoy in the summer, we will be back!

The staff was friendly, and the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I loved the hardwood floors and the sliding door that closes off the vanity area. It was a little pricey, but not ridiculously so. There was no clock/alarm in the room, and we had to move the dresser/night stand to access the outlets. Also, with recent renovations, it would have been nice to have USB charging ports in addition to the regular outlets.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean. Bathroom towels were bed sheet size. Heated hot tub and roaring outside fire was a plus on these cool nights.

I’m staying in this hotel currently as I write this post. First night I got in and my sheets were dirty it had hair from other people and pieces of yellow waxy stuff that looked like ear wax. I called downstairs and the first time she said no one can change them but she can change my room but I had already unpacked everything and it was super late so I asked for new sheets. She brought me new sheets but when I unfolded them to make the bed there was a bug in between the blankets! The coffee pot wasn’t cleaned out so there’s moldy water in there from god knows when. AND just now I had to kill a cockroach that crawled across my bathroom floor, specifically a baby cockroach. Gross! I understand there aren’t a lot of options in this area and that bugs may be an issue every now and then but my main issue was the sheets not being cleaned! The rooms are really cute and it’s inexpensive but man replace the sheets! There’s never a good excuse for not doing that.

The room was comfortable and the staff was magnificent. The location is great, parking plentiful. The included breakfast is exactly what you expect at a hotel. The rooms lack any sound proofing but were large enough and comfortable.

This place was perfect for us. Friendly service, nice clean good sized room. The pool was heated, Hit tub was huge, it had a little water slide that my kids enjoyed. Fire pit out side poolside. Breakfast included. We definitely are happy with our hotel selection. Thank you!

We stayed here in December of 2017. Very impressed by the proximity to downtown. The updated rooms were nice, though I would recommend a suite next time for some extra room. Breakfast was decent and better than expected for a free breakfast. The heated pool, hot tub, and outdoor fire pit were perfect for the cool nights we had while visiting. Staff was courteous and helpful. Would stay here again.

It is our favorite place to stay at when we come to visit. The staff is always kind and breakfast is always good when you are on time. Great walking distance to everything within the city.

The staff was so friendly and living, they made my 19 year anniversary very special. The view was beauitful. The pool and hot tub were so blue, and breakfest was great :) We would differently be back with the rest of our family. Thank y'all.

This place is absolutely beautiful! Newly renovated rooms are super comfy and cozy with really pretty finishes. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners and they were so nice and accommodating. Will definitely be back!

The 2 queen room was big enough, comfortable beds, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and Starbucks single serve coffee in the room. Nice outdoor area with two pools and a hot tub. The front desk sells beer and wine at a higher price than stores but reasonable considering the convenience. Free breakfast went until 10am during the week and included scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal, muffins, etc. The location is perfect if you're going to the Admiral Nimitz museum or the shops on E Main St.

Great location; friendly staff and the most comfortable hotel bed I've slept on in recent memory. Sound travels there so, if your neighbors get festive, you'll know it!

The entire place is beautiful and overall very clean. The pool is heated so it was comfortable no matter the temperature. Had a great time with the family.

Best museum and history of WW II in the Pacific. All exhibits are genuine. Explains why US were fighting Japan and how tens of millions died in Asia.

This is a wonderful hotel with a friendly and helpful staff and within walking distance to several restaurants and wine tasting venues, and lots of downtown shops. (About 2 blocks from the main drag. ) It also has a great pool. It is mid to high on price, but I think worth it. Also, the hot breakfast is better than many.

We absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is wonderful. 2 pools, a hot tub, outdoor fire pits and plenty of seating. Beds are comfortable, rooms are updated. I have nothing bad to say about it other than the we're out of cream cheese at breakfast.

This place was so quaint and comfy… best night's sleep ever! The staff was friendly and hot breakfast was delicious. Bathroom was fully stocked with everything I needed. I will make this my go to place for the times I simply cannot leave Fredericksburg.

I love this place! I got tired of trying to get reservations at B&B's and when I found this place I decided I wouldnt even try a B&B again. The rooms are great, the grounds are gorgeous and we love the pool and hot tub. Wonderful service. We have been there 3 times and we will be back!

Very nice rooms with hardwood floors. Pet friendly. Amazing pool! Very relaxing. I usually stay at the Hampton when I cone to fredricksburg, but after staying here, I don't think I can go back. I love the pool because not only is it nice and has a fireplace, it's not next to the main road with heavy traffic. Very peaceful and within walking distance to main street and all the shops and restaurants.

I would give it 5 stars but I called for some towels to my room and after 45 minutes they never came. So I went to the front and they had to go find me some, there was no effort to bring any to my room. When I went to the office there were 3 employees having what seemed to be a hilarious conversation. If they don't do that kind of thing, they should tell the customer not say ok and never bring them.

The place is located in a nice area as local shopping areas are around the corner. The rooms were decent, parking lot is small but the heated pool and hot tub is AMAZING. Definitely going back!

Cute place to stay. Really good breakfast, nice rooms, friendly staff. It's also a short walk to main street (that's was our choice of transportation the whole time there) They have a beautiful pool, courtyard area. There is also a stream beside the hotel. It was perfect, more than I was expecting!

Excellent pool, with hot tub. The lobby has coffee and hot cocoa offered 24 hours, pastries most of the day. Breakfast is varied and the waffle iron is shaped like texas. The orange juice is kind of sweet though, you might want to water it down. Beds and rooms are basic and nice, they're finishing up renovations now. Room included iron, ironing board, coffee maker, fridge, microwave, and blow dryer.

Nice place but going through renovations. Will be nice to see the makeover when it's complete. Staff was generally friendly except for the old groundskeeper. Will be back again someday.

Arrived at 1445 with a reservation for 2 rooms. They were not ready. Published check in at 1500, so no big deal. Returned from dinner at 1930. One room was still not ready. Hot tub out of service. Only compensation was $70 off our next stay, which will not be happening. 2 stars only because of location and the new look after renovations. Very disappointing.

Some things have been well maintained, like the pool area, but others show their age, like the sort of maintained bathrooms. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast was great. Staff was friendly enough.

The rooms were a bit dated. However, the beds were decently comfortable and the rest of the hotel was amazing. Heated pool, hot tub, outdoor fireplace. 24/7 drink dispenser, plus an excellent breakfast made this a wonderful stay that I will be doing again. Not to. Mention being within walking distance of most of the bars/restaurants was an added plus.

About the only thing GOOD about this place was the check in. The room was nasty dirty: coffee splatter on the ceiling, dirty un-vacuumed carpet, just looked dirty all over. The bed was hard as a rock and had a plastic topper like I put on my 2 year old's bed. There were only 3 pillows for the 4 of us. The room was in need of major repairs. Bathroom smelled of urine. Shower had hair still on the walls. There was a wet wash rag hanging from the shower curtin rod. We passed on the LA Quintana thinking the Fredricksburg Inn & Suites would be more upscale. For $200 this should have been a much better experience. We definitely learned our lesson.
