Filthy and no management on staff to speak with — called two days in a row and keep being told if they are coming in it will be around noon. Given two different emails to write. No response
Sheets had something yellow and crusty on them along with some tag off someone’s jewelry and hair — microwave not cleaned, floor not cleaned — the hallway carpets were dirty and the room smelled of cologne instead of cleaning products
No response from management.

They have a pool! rooms are clean and smoke free. We came to celebrate our 4th year anniversary.

Everything is so delightful Jeff didn't get to enjoy the breakfast because of a pandemic but otherwise I know that would have been great to will refer to others.

I give 5 stars supper clean real politeness front desk nd staff. Will come again.

For the price and location, this hotel was excellent. The staff was courteous and quick, the breakfast was hot and more than your typical continental breakfast, and the rooms were fantastic. With it being right next to I-35, the hotel was within 10 or 15 minutes of any point of interest, and even when we returned late in the evening, there was still a staff member there to greet us and help us if needed. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Friendly staff, check-in and check-out process was very inviting and smooth, will be back soon as it is easy access to nearby attractions.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and nice looking. I've had better complimentary breakfasts in my time, but it wasn't bad and it's free, so who can complain?

Nice and clean hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable, room was clean and smelled good. AC was freezing and perfect! Breakfast was fresh and had plenty of options for all of us. Will stay here again!

Hands down have to say this is the best hotel that I've stayed at in a long time have been here at least 6 days and the service from the time you check in, to the time you check out is A GREAT EXPERIENCE! The manager Jennifer and other associates (Chloe, A. J. As well as Robert, did a great job taking care of all our needs. Thank you for you kindness and hospitality to me and my family.

This Comfort Inn in Texas is probably the best, most hospitable, and lovingly accommodating place to stay that I've ever experienced. All the personnel were willing to do anything they could to make my stay more pleasant, especially with the Texas heat creating a big obstacle! The breakfasts that they provided were never bad either.

Very convenient to San Marcos outlet. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast was somewhat disappointing. They didn't refill some of the hot food that were gone, even though it was 30 mins before closing.

Our stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites was very pleasant. No one bother you, staff was very helpful on guiding us around when ask for information, knew where the pool was and breakfast buffet upon arrival, thanks to the staff.

The staff was super friendly. Room was very clean and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was your average hotel free breakfast, but good. We would stay again.

The night receptionist was awesome and super helpful. Rooms were really nice and beds were comfortable. I don't like really soft pillows but that's personal preference and the USB outlet in our room didn't work but other than that, it was nice and relaxing.

Room was clean and very nice. Decor of hotel is lovely and night and morning staff were great. Breakfast room was small but had a good selection of Items. There were a lot of people crammed in their so I just got something small and went to my room. Only stayed one night, can't comment on pool or housekeeping.

Great experience. Breakfast was good tasting and plenty amount was available. Rooms were spacious, clean. Linen in bathroom was generous. Highly recommended.

The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms were nicer then expected. My only complaint about the room was the fact that the shower leaked water all over the floor while showering and the toilet was placed right outside the shower door which was awkward to sit on. Nearby guests were extremely noisy and kept us up at night, but when contacting the front desk most of the issues were taken care of. Most of the folks of the front desk were very professional and went above and beyond.

Nice and clean. Walls are a little thin. I was woken up around 3am with people foot steps coming from the next floor. Overall very nice. I would stay there again.

The room was decent but clean. Breakfast wasn't great but not bad. Front desk staff didn't show up for 15 min. We had to call the hotel phone to get someone to help.

Good location… right off of I35, and not far from the Texas State campus or New Braunfels. The parking availability is on the light side, and the lot has a really strange configuration. The footprint of the entire property is very small compared to most.

Awesome Stay! Rooms were comfortable, clean, & very nice! Robert (Front Desk) was friendly, very nice, respectful & down to earth! I highly recommend this hotel for your next stay.

Clean, comfortable, decent breakfast. Friendly staff, good value. Only negative is not enough light in the bathroom from the two lights on each side of the mirror, little lots of light in the shower area. I would recommend this hotel.

My first experience trying to find the place was hard cause the map said it was on wrong side of interstate, but I chose this place because it's close to outlet mall so I could adventure over there while husband is working but there is no shuttle so will have to call taxi but we will see how that experience goes, now when I went down for coffee it was 9 am on dot and it says that there breakfast is from 6 to 9 but when you have customers already down there eating you don't take food from almost right out of there hands to put it away and say it over, I have never seen rudeness like this to guest and I travel a lot all over. I went and discussed this with front desk and all she would do is apologize. Really.

My daughter and I were very pleased with our stay at this location. We were on vacation and our biggest concern was staying somewhere with comfortable beds. Let me tell you this place had THE BEST MATTRESSES EVER! We liked them so much I took a picture of the tags on the mattress so I can look at getting us some for home. Also the outside of this hotel was lit up so well at night that you didn't have to be scared going out to your car at night. I was extremely pleased with our stay at this hotel! All of the staff were very helpful and friendly!

The front desk staff was not very friendly. He was a tan, older gentleman who acted like he would rather be anywhere else than there. Even my friend who was with me noticed that he had an attitude and acted cold. Normally hotel staff mentions what time breakfast ends, which he didn't, and we woke up the next morning realizing we completely missed it (when I booked the hotel specifically so we could have breakfast in the morning). Our curtains in our room (#615) did not close and the streetlights beamed in all night. Then, the sun beamed in right at 7 am and it was very difficult to get any rest. We tried to pull the curtains together but they didn't budge and I didn't want to risk breaking them. We just chalked it up to either being broken or meant to be immobile and dealt with it Finally, the toilet paper in the bathroom was not a clean, fresh roll. It was halfway used and not folded. Normally, I'm all of saving money and sparing the environment. However, in a hotel, when I'm paying $100+/ night, I really want a new clean roll that hasn't been obviously used before. I don't normally write bad reviews and am always happy to give credit where credit's due. My stay was just one bad thing after another and for my birthday trip, I really hope for something better.

Hotel overall is good. Manager Ricardo is terrible. Our toilet backed up on Saturday night. The issue was reported by phone call to front desk and we were told by Robert he would give us a call back. We never got a call back. The next morning my children, husband and I had to use the restroom in the hotel lobby while now 12 hours later someone was on their way to fix the toilet. Robert apologized numerous times and said no one responded to his email he send the prior night. We had three other rooms booked with our group so we had to get Robert to make a key for one of their rooms after they had checked out in order to shower and get ready. By the time we checked out the toilet was still not fixed. When a housekeeper finally arrived she had made such a huge mess in the bathroom we could not go in there to get the last of our things. When I called Manager Ricardo about what happened he told me that he had to look into the issue and would call me back. 4 days later and numerous calls back to him and his boss Kay I finally spoke to him. At this time he claimed Robert told him that we never called to report the problem on Saturday night. He basically said it was our fault and there was nothing him or his boss Ms. Kay could do but give us $30 back. He was very rude and unprofessional. I do not believe that he even spoke to Robert about us reporting the problem because he could not get his story strait when trying to tell me.

Worked well for a short trip. Beds were comfortable, room were decent. Shower leaked onto the bathroom floor. Food is serviceable. Location is convenient next to San Marcos shopping strips.

This is a pretty new hotel, the meeting room is small but they have nice rooms, the breakfast bar usually needs to be stocked and they don't keep it clean during the breakfast times.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. I felt very safe here. The staff was wonderful and friendly. My van broke while I was on vacation and had to stay here because it was close to the auto shop. The staff was very understanding and I enjoyed talking with them. Breakfast was good they had eggs, bacon/sausage, waffles, cereal, toast bagels, yogurt. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

We stayed at this Hotel at the start of the Texas Spring Break and they were overwhelmed. My wife and I were underwhelmed. Sunday morning at the breakfast bar there was a completly trashed room. It was covered by eggs, pancake batter trash and spilled cereal. All the tables were covered in trash and the floors were covered in food and garbage. I have never seen a Comfort Inn anywhere close to this. The wife and I headed out to find a clean place to eat and shop. When we got back that afternoon, the hallways were dirty like they had not been vacuumed in days. There was trash in the stairwells that was never picked up. It took till after 6 PM for our room to be cleaned and it took a trip to the front desk to get that done. There were people with reservations at 7 amd 8 pm waiting for rooms to be cleaned. There was only one elevator working and good luck finding a luggage cart. We stay at Confort Inn when we travel but this one is off our list of places to stay.

Very nice clean room. Our room (we had a suite which we were upgraded to) seemed a little more modern and not your typical hotel room. Very friendly. Good breakfast options.

Really nice hotel… polite staff… excellent environment… great amenities… a little pricey especially if you're only traveling for work like I am… however if you're on vacation or just really want a great place to sleep this place is what you want!
