Unfolded sofa bed and for my son old room key and opened condom wrapper fell out. No bedding in the room for the sofa bed. Fridge had a broken off plastic spout inside in the back all moldy or nasty looking and freezer section frosted over 2” thick. Watery eggs at breakfast and warming unit did not appear functional and eggs and sausage were cold. Warmer for biscuits was on and they were crunchy. Front desk person brought up bedding when I called and took $30 off the bill when I showed him the cleanliness issues and bill still over $110 for the one night. Never again. Avoided this area for return road trip as no other real options in the area. Nice outward appearance but my experience is telling me management does not inspect the details proactively.

There were a few issues (minor problems) & the overnight gentleman solved them right away. He also discounted our suite significantly. They took good care of us.

Very clean hotel with every accomadation you could wish for. Front desk staff M. J. (Mary Jane) was very informative about local businesses, restaurants and tourist attractions, not only in Lockhart but surrounding cities as well. M. J. Went the extra mile by looking up for me what time the Lavendar Fields in Luling opens today. I highly recommend this Best Western.

Great experience with exception of the quality of the breakfast food. A little pricey for Lockhart, Texas but it the best in town.

Very clean room but high priced. Front desk people are nice. Rooms are nice. Expensive because it's the only decent place in town. The other option is that Plum Creek Inn which I would avoid. Lockhart needs more hotels.

Awsome they were so friendly I love it they played attention to you I would not hesitate to go back I'm going back thank you.

Newest place in town. Good food nearby. Close to shopping and movie theater.

Loved our room. The staff was totally nice. The only bad thing was the flush on the toilet was deafening so you woke your partner up in the middle of the night and the bathroom light was hooked to the exhaust fan so you had to leave the light off.

Excellent service. Excellent room. Best place for miles. This is your best choice for a quality room.

Bed was extremely firm, to the point of uncomfortable, but absolutely everything else was wonderful. Jacuzzi was worth the few dollars more a night. Will recommend.

We had a flawless experience at the Best Western in Lockhart TX Nice big flat screen TV. Very clean room & the rest of the hotel. Friendly front desk & yummy breakfast Would recommend!

The first room we were given on the 2nd floor the key wouldn't work. We went back down twice to get the keys reprogrammed. Even then after getting the key programmed door wouldn't open. We ended up getting our room changed to the first floor. The room smelled like mold and thenair was very thick. Lowered the a. C. To the lowest setting which was 66 and the room still wouldn't cool down. Not a very good experience.

Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room clean and adequately stocked. Did not stop in for breakfast so cannot comment on that. Will stay again when I go back.

Only a 15-min drive from Martindale, so this is a great place to crash if you just finished up on a San Marcos River float. Staff was friendly and check-in was a breeze. That said, walls are pretty thin and we could hear even low-volume TV from other rooms. We were there on a Saturday night, so we did have to deal with extra-loud folks at about 2:30 am, but I think we just got unlucky with the room location. Room was generally clean, trash cans emptied, etc. However, one of the queen beds in the room either hadn't been changed after the last guests used it, or there's a problem with washer/dryers — it was pretty funky. Luckily the other bed was fine. Ate breakfast elsewhere so I can't comment on the food. Overall, would stay again.

I mean I'm from NC and a best Western can run you around $60 maybe $80 a night. I'm here for a family reunion. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't the greatest. It didn't smell like the Lockhart Inn did. The desk agent was friendly.

This Best Western in Lockhart, TX was suitable for our needs. The rooms were clean the beds were fine, the shower was good, the t. V. Worked. I wasn't impressed with their breakfast but it was edible. The staff was kind and helpful. It is one of the best hotels in the town.

Our family is from Lockhart Tx & in town for a family reunion. We were terribly disappointed with your hotel. The doors don't shut properly, the toilet continually ran, a/c was mediocrely cool and to top it off my husband's wallet fell out of his pocket in our room. He went back to the room within an hour & found his wallet placed behind the TV with a $100 missing. Never, ever, will we recommend or stay in your hotel again.

This best western was better than I expected. The hotel was new, had clean rooms, and the workout room was very nice. I had a problem with my door lock malfunctioning. The problem continued so the staff, MJ, moved me to a different room. The new room was much bigger and I was pleased with the way she handled the situation.

We are so thankful for this Best Western in Lockhart. The location is perfect for our business travels to this area. We feel safe and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

Clean hotel rooms with great internet service. Best place to stay in Lockhart. My family of four stayed comfortably in a room with two queen beds. We arrived very late at night and were greeted warmly by the front desk. Will definitely stay here again.

Hotel is being remodeled with no rooms being rented on 1st floor yet. Hallway is lined with mattresses waiting installation so be careful! Our room looked good and was comfortable. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, TV, AC/heat and free internet. Prices charged per night were higher than published for this hotel at the Best Western website, so you may want to double check or book through corporate.

Extremely disappointed. Having traveled for business now for over 10 years, I can honestly say that I've never had a request for a room change denied by management for no other reason than the fact that my reservation was booked through Hotels dot com. My father and I have enjoyed staying in this hotel this same weekend for the past few years, and we've never encountered a problem until tonight. When booking my reservation, I inadvertently selected a king bed room as opposed to two double/queen beds. When I asked if there was any possibility to change rooms, the very sweet lady working the front desk (MJ I believe? ) noted that since the reservation was booked through Hotels dot com that she would need a password in order to change rooms. Without that, she would need to confirm with her manager (assuming this was the owner, Umesh Patel — the same Umesh that rated his own hotel 5 stars, but I could be wrong) if it was okay. The hotel is clearly not at full occupancy, yet she stated that she was told there would be no changes. Luckily, there is a sleeper love seat in the room, but this of course is not quite the same as a real bed. I would have expected more from a business that specializes in hospitality. Especially a hotel in a friendly small town — a small town in which the owner and I apparently share mutual friends on Facebook.

The lobby has a strong musty odor, but thankfully our room did not. The room was nice, very spacious, but could have used a more detailed cleaning. The bed was comfortable, which is probably the most important aspect for a hotel. The fitness room was a joke… no, actually dangerous! They don't keep any type of sanitation spray so who knows who's sweat is all over everything! The eliptical worked fine. The treadmill belt kept slipping and I almost fell several times before giving up and getting off. The bike seat was halfway off! Twisted to the side! They seriously need to update the equipment in there! The pool was full of bugs because the filtration was turned off. Seriously? That should be kept on at all times during pool hours!
I'll probably go there again, but only because it's the best hotel Lockhart has to offer. I do hope management addresses those issues though.

The rooms and beds are nice and clean. But we made reservations a few days in advance and our room was not ready when we arrived at 3 pm. We got in the room at 4:15. Another one of our party had reserved her room the day we checked in and hers was ready. The lady at the front desk was rude. She sent us to the room before it was ready and the lady cleaning it said she knew it wasn't ready yet.
