The people certainly make your stay here at Twin Elms. What a great 4 days we'll never forget. We can overlook the fact we weren't told there would be no rodeo on the Friday, which was part of our reasons to visit the ranch. We were unaware it was out of season. The US kids start school 2 weeks before the UK so it was very quiet. So quiet in fact we were on our own most of the week. Which we liked. The food was fantastic. Always enough and home cooked. Amazing vegan choices (being a vegetarian or vegan in Texas is extremely difficult) hone cooked muffins, cookies, cobbler, biscuits etc amazing. Can't thank the chefs (Josh and John) enough. The horse rides were fun, with Nancy, who made a great guide. Her knowledge of the ranch was impressive and she interacted great with the boys. My son was upset to leave and misses her. Campfire s'mores, lasso lessons and branding wood will never be forgotten. The rooms basic and rustic but comfortable and had everything we required. If we ever are in the area again we would return without a doubt.
Absolutely loved the area. Me and buddy of mine went camping, had great location right on Medina River.

Peaceful. Nice get-away approximately an hour away in Bandera. Staff wonderful. Food good. There seemed to, e things to do but I was more interested in the peace.
