Review of Sleep Inn & Suites Stafford 2*

First off, I'd like to say that I usually only use my time to leave good reviews and let the bad roll off my shoulder. That should show how bothered I am. My family and I have stayed in this hotel for a month straight and had overlooked many things but this is the last straw. They have an employee there who has been smug and rude on several occasions but this is the most recent event. My husband told me that he asked her if he could change the channel in the dining area from CNN to something else. Apparently, this prompted her to get into a political debate that ended in her saying to him "Shut up and go to your room! ". Another example of her unprofessional behavior is when I tried to make change with the coke machine so that I would have quarters for laundry. When I put in my dollar and pressed the "coin return" button it made a noise but nothing came out. So I went downstairs to let her know and she just gave me change for a dollar I handed her but not the one from the coke machine. I thought she just didn't understand so I nicely explained to her again what happened. She just stood there and stared at me like she still didn't understand so I kept trying to explain in a polite manner because at this point I thought she was not understanding my english. I held up two fingers and said. "I had 2 dollars, I put one in the machine and pressed 'coin return' but nothing came out. You just gave me change for the dollar I just gave you but I also need the change back from the coke machine. " She said she couldn't give me the money back. She said I should have come to her to ask for quarters in the first place and there was nothing she could do. At that point I realized she had understood me the entire time but just decided to stare and me dumbfounded like I had done something wrong. The next day I did get my money back from a manager. There was another time that I opened the door for the housekeeper and she just happened to be walking by. She starred at me the entire time she walked by with a grumpy look and didn't say a word.
