People want security when they go to hotels. But when they have rules to follow so the security can work then people cry. This hotel does not allow visitors so things can be good for you. Look what happen this past week at a hotel just up 45 south no security. Man gets shot behind drugs. Yet people want security yet they don’t! So make up your minds. If you want security then come on Also they give you a list of the rules read them before you check in and if you don’t like the rules don’t check in!

Very polite and understand staff members and very easy to work with as well. No compliants from me so far. The night manager was very cool when I asked for a single bed room he checked and double checked to see if he had one available on the first floor and he told me he did he covered all grounds for making sure I got the room I was looking for with no problems and no BS. I was checked in and in my room in no time. I'll be back to motel 6 again in the near future.

I usually like staying at Motel 6 but this location was different. The floors seemed slimy (they are prob using a soapy based cleaner which left a slick residue). And the bathtub was incredibly old and worn out, needs replacing. It was nice that the property had a security guard on sight plus gated but don't think I will return to this motel 6 due to the interior being run down more than normal. since the Management responded to my review, I raised it to a 3 star, was originally a 2 star.

I had a great stay at this Motel 6. Just North of Houston, but great access to anywhere in the city. The room was clean & comfortable. Furnishings were either new or very well-maintained. Bed was especially comfortable. The management of this motel also clearly enforces its "No-Smoking" policy for the designated rooms — — Not a scent of old, stale smoke anywhere. Staff was friendly & helpful. Plenty of near-by food options, too. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at this location as part of our vacation. I found the desk staff to be very helpful and friendly… and that deserves five stars! We were satisfied with the room. I noticed that this location was in the process of installing a security gate, which I thought was a good idea. It had been awhile since we stayed at Motel 6 and I noticed that there has been security measures put in place that was new to us. One thing is that they require all vehicles to have a parking permit, issued by the motel, on the dash of your vehicle while parked on the property. Overall, a nice stay.

The deadbolt on our door did not work and it was falling off. We couldn’t close our door and a maintenance man walking by had to help. He complained that the hotel never got anything done that was needed and apologized to us profusely. I appreciate the maintenance staff but am frustrated with the manager/whoever makes repair decisions. My keycard stopped working and when I went to get a new one the man at the desk said before he could fix my key he had to see my friend’s ID even though I made the reservation for the two of us and they did not ask for her ID when we checked in. She handed it over reluctantly and he took a photo of it with a phone. We heard the camera shutter sound and looked at each other. As soon as he gave it back we ran to our room. We felt violated. I asked the next morning during check out why it happened and the woman apologized but did not say the photo will be deleted. She just kept asking if I would give her a good review. My friend is concerned that these people have a photo of her along with her personal information. I do not plan to stay in a Motel 6 again.

This motel sucks! At around 2 am someone had a card key to our room and tried to come in like it was their room! Good thing we had the latch on at the top! Plus, they had only one bar of soap, one wash towel!

Its a good place to stay staffing are very nice they try to attend to you're needs and ask you if everything is alright! Very quiet for the most part!

Our stay for one night was goog. We stayed in room 208, and the room had ample space for our two small dogs. The bed was comfortable, pillows could have been much better. Location was great. Very friendly staff. Would recommend. The price for the area was very reasonable.

I'm loving the quiet place the room is big enough for my daughter to run around and play. My king size bed fit us all and it is comfortable. I also loving how security walks around at night. The price is wonderful for the loctaion.

Check-in was quick and easy. I had booked online. Room appeared clean. However, the mini-fridge had been turned up all the way and appeared to have been ignored for several weeks. I had to turn it off to let it defrost. Close to the ac/heat unit there was a chunk of floor missing. Not all the way through, but enough that it caused me to trip. At night when I reached to turn out the bedside light, I noticed that there was, what appeared to be a sticky spot on the floor about 3" in diameter. It was still there when I checked out. I had booked a handicap room. There was nothing handicap about it. No handrail near the tub and no textured tub or seat in the tub. Every time I drove off of the property, I had to have my key card re-keyed when I returned. It was very inconvenient. I'm not sure I would stay here again. I guess you get what you pay for.

I was in town for my mother’s funeral and they let us check out late, which I was very thankful for. The room was very clean, but the problems I had with the Motel was, when I called to book the room the lady on the phone was rushing me off the phone and it was difficult to communicate with her. When we arrived to the room I noticed there was two Flat T. V’s. One flat T. V was non-functional and the other was the working one. To me that seemed very tacky and unprofessional. The remote was very difficult to use with the T. V there was no back cover to the remote causing the batteries to be exposed and falling out of the remote. There was no microwave nor refrigerator located in the room for us to keep our drinks cool. The room did have “non — smoking” signs on the door but their was a ash tray in the room and had cigarette burns on the comforter blanket. The light by the bed was also not working.

The first room I was given had dry blood in the tub. The second room was filthy. It had beer bottles and cigarette packs everywhere. One of the beds were pulled from the wall as well. I was traveling with 3 kids and they did not feel safe so I just took my money back. Thank you.

Gaps in laminate floor, easy tripping. Mold growing up corner of tub surround. No lights on one side of bed, stubbed my toe trying to get to the bathroom! One cart in whole building to move suitcases in. Easy to get a refund.

This location advertised online as having free breakfast. We were counting on that as we were traveling to a large martial arts tournament to compete and had to be there early in the morning. This advertising was a lie they in fact do not offer breakfast luckily we had some food of our own and were able to make in to an emergency breakfast. Athletes must eat on regular schedules. This alone makes the room overpriced. Other than that the place could use some upkeep i really don't like giving bad reviews and I really never do. But false advertising is false advertising. The people that work there are wonderful however.

There are a few things that is a bit worrying about the property, such as a parking permit having to be issued and the accompanying tow policy if the permit is visible in the car, though its probably due to the area being right off I-45 and a limited number of parking spots available. A guest policy is also issued, but again, probably has to do with the location being right off of I-45. The gate surrounding the property could use some repair as there is a few large areas where the gate is missing (enough to drive a car through) right next to a shopping center parking lot, and the elevator inspection paper has been expired for two months. Other than the above the pricing for the hotel is great along with not having to pay for Wi-Fi like other motel 6 locations and the room was in great condition, just the place needs to be kept up a bit better.

People nice 1. Toilet did not flush. We left for viewing at funeral home came back toilet flush one time. Did not work after that. Went down next morning gave me a key to another room. For toilet we we leaving later. 2. No air filter in air conditioner. 3. Mold 2 places around tub. 4. Shower head no pressures.

I stayed in this place and it really was a lousy experience, the room was not cleaned, they did not change the towels, having to dry them with a fan, heating does not work, the manager arrogant and abusive did not solve the problems, the staff of the Frontdesk do not care about the claims, is a crappy motel, never use it again and do not recommend.

This Motel 6 location was very nice and seems recently updated. Of course it is no Ritz Carlton, but there was free coffee, a comfy bed, nice flat screen TV, and clean towels and linen. The best part of this location that it is walking distance to plenty of shopping, bars, and restaurants. Not a bad place for the price and the management was very nice to me. I would definitely go to this location again. A++ Would Recommend!

Way to bait and switch Motel 6! … reserved a room for two nights at 2pm at $138 for 2 nights, then when we tried to get in at 8 pm tonight, $95 plus tax per night… I hope you lost the customers that were there while I was there trying to get a room… trust me, I am the one customer you will lose 10 over… maybe more. Shame…

I made a 3rd party reservation for a superintendent on Friday for 2 separate hotels by phone. On Friday (11/17/17) when my super checked in at the Austin location he had no issues. On Saturday (11/18/17) when he got to this hotel in Houston, they stated the room wasn't paid for when it was. My super called me and I spoke with the hotel staff. The staff was very rude, I called the reservation number and they stated it was paid for and that it was a error on there part, they corrected it and confirmed with the hotel everything was good to go. Last night on Sunday (11/19/17) I get a call from my super telling me that the front desk was making him pay out of pocket for the previous night because it wasn't paid for, meanwhile the 3rd party reservation was checked in on the 18th and taken from the card. The hotel staff refused to let him go to his room unless he paid for the previous night. I called the hotel and they were very rude, hanging up on me. I then called reservations again and spoke with a supervisor (Ralph) who was very courteous and tried his best to assist me. When Ralph called the hotel they kept hanging up on him as well. He tired his best and told me to call guest relations tomorrow (11/20/2017) when they open. I called Guest services today and explained what was going on, instead of assisting me (after I told them that I spoke with reservations already and they couldn't help me) she transferred me to reservations.

Staff was very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond for service. With several front desk contacts throughout that evening of our arrival, as we talked with three to four different employees of the motel during our overnight stay, they all would ask us if we needed anything, or how they could be of help with our stay. On one of our comings and goings in and out of the motel during our stay, we asked the front desk about what time coffee would be available in the morning as we had an early start to our workday at 4:00 a. M. The following day~and he replied 6:30 a. M. ~but to our immense delight and surprise, as we were going through the lobby to start our day, here comes that gentleman with the coffee for us! At check out, they asked how our stay was, and if everything was satisfactory with our accomodations, thanked us again for staying, and were just NICE and PLEASANT, professional people!

Room was clean. Beds were clean and comfortable. Staff members were friendly and knowledgeable. We were pool-side so was a little noisy until the pool closed. After that, it was quiet. We could have used more towels. Tub was not spotless. Card key did not work very well.

I paid for a room with a microwave, but the it didn't have one. I was told I would be switched in the morning but never was. There were roaches in the room and hallways. Only 1 outlet worked in the room. The window in my room was also cracked. The phone did not work in the room as well. The overall appearance of the motel just seemed dirty and not safe. The lock on my door was broken as well. The only thing I liked were they had a nice cable provider. They had every channel, even all the premium channels.

It's actually a decent Motel. It's better than a lot of Motels. The staff is friendly. My room is huge. I love that It's not all outside like the previous Motel 6 I stayed at. The bed is huge and comfy. The TV is also large with over 300 channels. There's plenty of things in walking distance if you don't have a car like myself. And the best part is its 17 minutes (drive) from Houston International Airport. I would 200% stay here again.

I was not happy, it took forever to check in. They acted as if Motel 6 was not pet friendly when there was already people with pets there. I had to agree to a room with no TV on the first floor. When I went to the room it smelled as if something was on fire inside. I went and told the desk clerk. He said he would check it out. Not feeling safe and being to tired from traveling all day. I went out to my truck with the dogs and fell asleep. At about 1am I awoke feeling sure they would have fixed what ever was burning in my room. I went in and fell asleep. I awoke to a room filled with smoke. I decided to investigate myself and discovered that there was in fact a fire in the garden mulch outside my room. Directly under my air conditioning unit. So the smoke was coming directly into my room all night. I woke up with a terrible headache. When I went up to talk to the desk clerk. Asking for a full refund she stopped to help every person who walked up or called as I stood there and waited for her to finish helping me. I understand that the fire was not there fault and I was given a full refund. But, the customer service was terrible! They should have put that out right away. I don't believe the night clerk even looked. What if it was a bigger fire? Why on earth was I made to stand there while the clerk in the morning helped everyone else? How rude is that? After inhaling smoke all night. What kind of hotel gets a report of something burning and ignores it?

It was good the fourth Ñ but charged me $20 more to get a "late check out"

This place is ghetto. There are prostitues walking around with their pimps with their pants sagging around their knees. I got into my room and it was comical, the bathroom light didn't work, and the room had a bed, a TV on a counter, then the rest of the room was empty. It was almost funny to look at A BIG EMPTY ROOM NO FURNITURE, NOTHING. The room looked like a dance floor, you literally had enough room to breakdance if you wanted. Cuz it was empty. POOL WAS CLOSED for some reason. Smells like marijuana in the hallways on EVERY FLOOR. If your a ghetto thug looking for a cheap room, then this place is perfect… But if your a respectable clean cut person, stay away.

This motel sucks donkey balls. Two of our workers got robbed. And there was broken glass everywhere people hanging outside and they just don't care. Roches in the front porch rats in the back junkies in ally with the baseball bat…

Had a problem with the a/c in our room at first, but we're switched to a much better room right away. The room stayed smelling fresh the whole stay. I loved it.

This motel isn't the best on the outside nor inside the hallways, it's a little run down and the elevator is a little scary but once inside the room all is good. The bed is decent, the A/C runs cold, the bathroom is clean and kept up. In all a decent hotel for short stays.

We have stayed at this property several times because of its proximity to my parents' house and it's pet friendly. The staff has always been courteous and attentive. However, it is clear that the owners do not want to put any money into improving the property. Last time we stayed here the room would not lock and we had to call maintenance. This time, we went to shower and the shower head was missing. When you check in, they make you sign a sheet agreeing to inform the front desk staff immediately after checking in if your TV is missing. The door jamb looked like someone had tried to kick in the bathroom door. One of the vending machines in the lobby was out of order. It's those kinds of things. Too bad, too, because the staff has always been attentive and Coco at the front desk was awesome. I hope that she sticks around. But, if they would only put some money into fixing up the place, this property would be fine. But, you get what you pay for, and 40 bucks a night, you can't beat if you just need a place to bed for the night without caring about amenities.

First the Motel is undergoing renovation so the quality is getting better. I got a renovated Non-Smoking Room that was rather comfortable. The room had a wood-like flooring instead of a carpet that could attract dust and odors. The bathroom was redone as well and looked nice. My only complaint was the carpet in the hall had an overpowering cigarette odor (the room smelled just fine). There were some smoking rooms on my floor so I would recommend replacing the hall carpet with the same flooring as the rooms. I think that once completed, the renovations will definitely increase the quality of the stay for every guest. Lastly, a shout out to the motel staff who were nice and courteous every time I talked to them.

Stayed for spring break. The pool was closed. It's old and needs replaster. We couldn't even use it. Rooms were average. The entire placed needs a make over. I've stayed at much nicer motel 6. Pass up on this one.

A great place to stay if you are newly paroled or need to hooker up… the room was awful… broken furniture… the smoke detector battery began to die at 3am. No outlets near the bed to plug into… at first they said they had no extension cord so I could plug in my cpap… then when I said that was a big problem they magically provided an extension cord. Windows etc are filthy… the place stinks and is a magnet for lowlifes.

HOUSEKEEPING WALKS IN DISREGARDING PAYED ROOM & DONT DISTURB SIGN! Had this happen to me multiple times and I'm fed up. I thought it was a mistake until they did it daily… Very creepy and unfair housekeeping. They watched my sister get dressed and waited until she was done to walk fully in without knocking! HOUSEKEEPING LEAVES THE SHEETS AND TOWELS ON BED WITHOUT DOING THEM! Manager lady at front is VERY rude and did not care about kidnapping case… Guy tried pushing me into my car and I escaped which resulted in them driving off with all my stuff… Hotel I formed me they knew the people but could not release their info? I left ib tears… Please dont support this business. Tgey all have the same manager and I am strugglinga t rhe moment so they are messing with me for telling on them! I will not give up! Dont give your money to these un caring money hungry people.

I don't know where to start. Me and my husband stayed here because it didn't look bad in the pictures and was close to a concert we were going to one night. 1. I didn't book a smoking room. Guess what kind of room we got. Not like it mattered because the whole motel smelled like an ash tray 2. There were holes in the wall from someone kicking them in. 3. These rooms are the filthiest hotel rooms I've ever seen. 4. The lady at the desk treated us like we didn't even exist. 5. Leaving for our concert and the door handle to our room FELL OFF. 6. The pool wasn't even open. 7. We booked a king size bed and got 2 full beds instead. This place is a DUMP. Cheap, but don't waste your money. I would never suggest staying here to my worst enemy. P. S if you are brave enough to stay here, DO NOT stay in room 335 :) That is all.

Excellent service and human quality.

Pros: It's not overly priced, nice size flat screen televisions, good channels, decent Wi-Fi, not in a bad location. Plenty of stores and restaurants in the vicinity. Decent size rooms, night time security and cameras, pet friendly. Cons: No microwave or mini fridge, motel is kind of old. I'd stay here again, overall it's decent, it's one exit north of Houston across the Interstate from Spring High School. Truck Driver review and I've stayed at motels all across the country and this one is not bad. They don't have truck parking, so it would be better to bobtail over here.

This hotel is absolutely terrible. We read the reviews, but were forced to stay here for business. We ended up leaving after 1 night and paying for our own room somewhere else. There were wires hanging out of the walls. There were old cigarettes in the cracks between the walls and the floor. Our window was shattered. The front desk staff was extremely rude. The entire hotel smells. It is obvious drug deals and prostitutes were the main attraction here. People were yelling and screaming in the hallway threatening to kill each other. We were actually in fear for our lives. Stay ANYWHERE else you can. Oh, I forgot to mention, there were maxi pads stuck to the floor in the hallway… WHILE HOUSEKEEPING WAS ONE DOOR AWAY! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND RUN IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!

Hospitality is amazing! Rooms are spacious and clean management is awesome and I seriously enjoyed being close to all the shopping and restaurants! Right on I45 you get there in like no time! Love it!

Manager treated us unfairly, we were there for an hour, then she busted in like a Nazi party and told us 300 dollars, your friends is a disrespectful touch but and he hangs with Mexicans and hoochie girls basically took out 60 dollars. I feel as if I was taken. I don't understand what's wrong with the manager she was in a bad mood and took it out on us. On a positive note we definitely got a head start in our day. Wish I had a place to go to tonight… thanks and have a blessed day.

This dump needs to be burned down to the grown. It is roach infested. Our room was filthy smh. Roaches in the bath tub and around the bathroom. Crawling around in the room. The absolute worse stay I have ever experienced. The roaches are the ones managing this motel! I would not recommend this stay to my worse enemy! never again!
