The party place. Room could use something comfortable to sit on and way over priced for what you get. 3 stars is kinda generous but it is very clean.

The room was very odd. 1/2 had nothing in it. I suppose it was room for another bed but we got a king room. It really need a loveseat, sofa or a chair, something? An half empty room is just weird! The photos online show tables and chairs in lobby and gives the appearance of continental breakfast. It seems to purposely deceive No food! Owener/manager said coffee available but also in room coffee can be made. My husband went down for coffee a couple times in the mornings and no lights on anywhere. Therefore he went and purchased it elsewhere. Vacation! Don't want to get up and make coffee. Lastly the bed was not at all comfortable.

We stayed a week and were extremely pleased. We needed a handicap room, it was perfect and the best shower by far in all the places we’ve stayed! The room and entire place was spotless and clean. The employees were all super friendly and helpful. I give this place a rating of 10, we have stayed in many “high dollar” places that were not near as nice!

Didn't really care that you couldn't bring drinks or smoke in the pool area. We are adults that would not leave a mess nor leave ashes. Also, smoking was only allowed in the picnic area.

Room was clean and in great condition. Complimentary coffee was good the first day but on the 2nd day it was cold and tasted stale. No big deal as we were checking out and heading to breakfast anyway. We misplaced our car keys and staff (manager, housekeeping, and maintenance guys) all helped to look for them. Overall great stay! We'll definitely stay again!

Overall it was good. To start the host was friendly in check in. But the lobby had a bad order. The room was very clean and open especially for two queen beds. No carpet, which was great. The towels can be replaced. They felt like sand paper. It included a micro and small fridge. The mattress was not the best but you get a good sleep. The thing about it was the rest of the guest. It just felt strange and uncomfortable how so many people would stand out in there balcony without shirts smoking and drinking and staring. It just bought the place down.

Staff is the best, treated like family or a favorite guest. Clean, bed is the most comfortable I have slept in at any hotel/motel. Highly recommend for a great place… but safe a room for me!

Very nice must be new. Had a refrigerator and a microwave. Always a plus. BBQ pits area with picnic tables. Swimming pool. Only coffee in lobby. No breakfast.

Beautiful new pool and pavilion! Fun for our family. Staff courtesy and clean rooms. Very enjoyable definitely stay here again!

We went here this past weekend… they are working on getting a new pool! We saw the construction for it out there. It looks like it might be done within 6 months or less, not sure. The managers were extremely kind, nice and accommodating… as we had an emergency on the beach (with our vehicle) and they were super understanding. They are open and in full effect, and only 11 — 12 minutes from Rockport Beach. The cleaning personnel at the hotel were friendly and kind. We will definitely be coming back. For those wondering, no there isn't continental breakfast, but there are a lot of restaurants nearby, like Dairy Queen, McDonalds, even Whataburger, so you're covered. There was a mini-fridge in our room, some shampoo/conditioner in packets, facial soap, small body soap, towels. The flat screen TV worked great. Anyway, we are so happy we stayed here. It's our third time at this hotel,, and it's great to stay in and the staff is friendly. The managers are great. Thank you!

While the room, being new, was clean some of the normal amenities were absent. There was no facial tissue, and though the sign in the room indicating that coffee would be served in the starting at 7 a. M. When I went down to the lobby to get coffee, the person there told me that not only would it not be served at 7 am but would not be available at all and that, quote "Motel 6 does not offer coffee" in a rather unfriendly tone of voice. I expect to receive what is promised when I stay at a motel therefore, in the future I will look for other accommodations.

Clean rooms, front desk very polite&attentive to the guests requests. Very pleasant stay would recommend to anyone coming to Rockport/Fulton area.

At first I got upset at the price. But this is a good room. Clean, comfortable, the TV works. The bathroom is clean and everything works as it should. Now I’m grateful that I found a room. Not many hotels are open still after the hurricane. Thanks Motel 6 for keeping the light on for me.

First week of November this year we attempted to stay here. We have a small dog. Owner/manager would not allow our dog to stay, but we were "most welcome. " His excuse was "I'm having work done and do not want the dog hit by flying nails. " C'mon… it's okay if people get hit by flying nails? He directed us to another motel down the road. We drove on to Corpus Christi. This is NOT a pet friendly Motel 6. Will never stay here with or without dog. Owner/manager tries to smile but it's really a smirking grin as he's looking at you with shifty eyes and all the while he's rubbing his money grubbing hands together. Very insulting and disrespectful.

After talking to our neighbirs at the hotel we were all given different prices, took somes AARP but told us they no longer acceped it. We checked out. I tried to call Motel 6 corporate office but was on hold which seemed forever The towels were thin you could practically see through them and scratchy. If you can afford not to stay there I wouldn't Shame on them for taking advantage of hurricane victims, they weren't the only hotel in Rockport doing that.

Hotel is located in good location, close to everything. Rooms are bigger than usual and were clean. Housekeeping staff very attentive to anything you might need. Only complaint would be supports to hold onto in the bathtub, as we are in our 60's and 70's.

Our recent stay at this motel was very good. There is no pool but they are in the process of getting one. The staff were very friendly. The town experienced a power outage but the front desk kept their cool. The beach is about 10 minutes away. This was a very clean motel. There are picnic tables and bbq pits for guest use.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to Motel 6 in Rockport, Tx. The room was cool, modern, and very clean. It had a nice sized refrigerator and microwave. No coffee pot, but there was always fresh coffee in the office. The staff, especially the manager, were extremely accommodating. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay there again!

The room was clean, the parking lot was well lit and my dog was welcome there. Due to an unexpected family member illness our stay here was longer than anticipated. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The room was very clean. I love that the floors were not carpeted. Modern style, very simple. It was great for an overnight stay. The staff was friendly and professional. Thankfully, was a pretty quiet night. We got some good rest. I would definitely stay here again.

They were very accommodating and even with it being a last min booking. The price was great and so was the room. Location was even perfect too.

Easy to find. Friendly & quick check in. Very clean! I have a room with king bed, refrigerator & microwave. I love that motel 6 accepts dogs of any size! There is no carpet so no allergies or musky odors! And it's super affordable!

Nothing frilly or fancy, but nice folks run the place and keep it very clean! The fact that it's pretty cheap while being comfortable and super clean, along with being much quieter than both the days inn (dirty) and holiday inn (loud and pricier) makes me happy. I've meant to try the la Quinta, but I haven't wanted to pass up a surefire place I like to take a chance. Laguna Reef was my go-to place for years, but they went up on prices, got too many drunks the last four times I stayed there, and went down on cleanliness. I thought it save with the kitchen, but I didn't want to be in the room, so I didn't. Yup, it's my friendly little Motel 6 for me!

Place was clean and a great price, room was clean, staff was friendly and an overall great experience, will stay here again. The motel is only 7mins from Rockport beach. Close to stores and restaurants.

Price is right… HOWEVER, there's no pool. AND housekeeping has sticky fingers took some shoes, food and insect candle we planned to take to the beach later. SO my over all opinion is NEVER AGAIN.

My family and I had a nice stay, for the price around that area it was a good deal. Check in and out was smooth, the room as nice and clean and did just fine for a family of 4, for 4 days. Downside, walls are very thin and you can hear everything, so if you are a light sleeper this may not be the place for you. Also, stairs leading up to 2nd floor are obviously not to code, it was like climbing a ladder to get up the 2nd set of stairs which can be a pain when juggling lots of luggage and small children. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would come back in the evenings to fresh made beds, empty trash cans and fresh towels. I would stay here again.

Room is clean and updated as it is fairly new. Rooms are not well insulated so it is very loud. Bare minimum amenities which is to be expected with a Motel 6. Really bad check in experience due to an issue with Expedia, but the clerk wasn't very helpful or understanding.
