My family and I had to come to Humble for a funeral. So we decided to stay at this hotel. I must say that I am very impressed! This is coming from a former front desk employee. The rate was reasonable, we had two rooms for two days. The rooms were huge, comfortable and clean. The t. V was huge as well with great movie channels ect. I found out that the hotel was doing some renovations downstairs in the lobby area. So I was disappointed at first because I had a food budget for our trip and thought I would have to buy breakfast. Then I was excited that we got breakfast from a neighbor restaurant because the hotel has a deal with them for their guests. Staff has changed and my family and I have been treated with respect and courtesy from each person and shift! I have truly been treated like a valued costumer. (By the way I do not or ever have worked at this particular hotel I am a legitimate 1st time customer. ) This will be my go to Hotel when I come here. We will definitely be back and excited to see the new remodel. I highly recommend this Hotel. And I usuusually don't like writing reviews but I feel they deserve the compliments.

Service delivery Houston especially is below expectation. The customer service team are unprofessional unlike the team in Dallas (warm, passionate and professional) The van that was rented to us was no longer worthy of being used as a transporter, yet, it was rented to us and it broke on our journey endangering the lives of all of us onboard the van. Customer service was not equally responsive as it took a while before a roadside assistance could be assigned who arrived promptly though. I am not happy at all with the customer service team at Houston.

The hotel is under renovation. This was not something I knew. For our purposes, the renovations were not intrusive but I was hoping for the normal Best Western Plus experience. The staff was excellent as usual.

Old needs remodeling, bed uncomfortable, musty stale odor in room. Undergoing remodel no hot Breakfast! Stay away until complete.

It should be nice when they are finished upgrading. Right now they are in the middle of remodeling the exterior, the lobby and maybe the pool/hot tub. The rooms need it too. I like Best Western and I appreciate the work but they should have let me know before confirming my reservation.

Just got here. Not off to a good start. Reserved and paid for my room in advance. But when I went to check in. They had no room for me. Had to wait 30 minutes for them to find me a room. Hotel is still under construction. Look like it will be nice when finished. Hallway and room has musty smell. Glad I always pack air freshener.

Conveniently located 10 minutes from the airport. The shuttle comes to get you quickly once you call for pickup. The lobby is small. It is currently under construction so the 1dt floor, computer area and breakfast area were closed. Sorry no best western style breakfast here at the moment. Though it should be back up and running soon. They did offer a grab and go breakfast. It included apples, bananas, tiny danishes, granola bars and coffee. The room was standard and the beds were super comfortable. The coffe machine in the room was stocked. I love that they offer an in room fridge and microwave. This was a nice clean hotel. Perfect for our layover.

Under renovation. This means no lobby, pool, laundry room, or exercise room, no full breakfast that's included in the price of the room. Our room was funky, had a musty, almost pee smell. We had to buy Febreze because we couldn't stand it. Most hotels have a small sitting room/living room area with a television. This hotel does not have that. There are no cribs to borrow if you need one. The rooms could stand to be fixed it a little, repairing things that need to repair, like the door in the bathroom which gets stuck. The food stains on back of the door should have been cleaned before a guest is given the room. The body-length mirror in the room isn't bolted to the wall, and therefore could fall and injure a child. My baby girl leaned on it and the whole thing moved. Right now, we would not recommend this hotel but perhaps after the renovations, and after the small repairs are made in the rooms, then perhaps I will recommend this hotel, but absolutely not right now.

Under renovation. Did not state this when I made the reservation. We stayed here last year when we came for karate tournament and it was great. Not full breakfast this year. We will have to go somewhere since all they have are pastries and see can't eat whea based food. Not happy this year.

The place is under renovation but still had great service. We also parked here for airport shuttle. It is a free shuttle to George Bush Airport.

Hotel is under a much needed major Renovation and this information should be available to those who are looking to book. Regular maintenance is required to fix taps, leaks, missing security chains and leaking ceilings. If a regular Inspection by management staff with the responsibility for the condition of the hotel were done then these rooms should be placed on a do not Rent list until they meet the so called high Best Western standard.

Staff is very friendly. They are very accommodating at any hours a night. I would have given it 5 stars but they're under construction at the moment so some of the amenities were not available.

Very nice place to stay the nite but very expensive even under construction to expensive when u can rent a place for $65. A nite.

Used their parking service for the flight. It was reasonably priced and easy to use.

Our original room reeked of smoke but we were able to easily switch thanks to a vacancy. However plan ahead for breakfast because their line about a “complimentary full breakfast, choice of breads, cereal, fruit, hot eggs, hot breakfast meat, other hot items, yogurt, juice and coffee” is a lie since they only have sugary snack bars and packaged pastries.

Friendly staff. Nice facility. Services are great and rooms are great.

I was there because of the proximity to George Bush. The service was good and the rooms were friendly.

It's an older hotel. Needs remodeling. The entire 1st level was damaged in the flood… Still damaged. All the molded rotting sheetrock, mattresses, furniture etc. Is piled in the parking lot so expect limited parking. Ive been here for 3 days now and haven't seen or heard anyone working to get the hotel back to 100% operational.

If you like the hotels you stay in to have walls, then this probably isnt the hotel for you. The 1st floor has a functional front desk and snack area. No hot breakfast here folks. Also theres very limited parking due to the demolition refuse being tossed out the backdoor. Its landing in a very ominous pile in the parking lot.

I had to stay here after my flight was delayed a day. No hotels in Houston had a room left except this one (for to hurricane Harvey). When I got here the computer system was down. The woman at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The rates were good, $100 per night the night I was here. The hotel is also very convenient since it is so close to the airport and offers a free shuttle.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, breakfast as usual. Pool area looked very nice. Had a comfortable lounge area. Great value the price.

Great location, close to the airport, shuttle was fast and a great driver (Earnest). Located next to waffle house which offers discounts if you show your hotel card and sonic (fast food place) with a convenience store close by as well. Beautiful pool and quiet location. Clean rooms although a bit of a musty smell throughout, nothing serious for certain. Will stay again.

Do not stay at this hotel! The staff at the front desk are pleasant and helpful enough but the hotel rooms are not clean. The rooms have a terrible odor and housekeeping does not always even bother to stop in on a daily basis. Breakfast was mediocre at best. The staff does not provide sufficient food to serve the guests. We had to wait for more food to be brought out, eating potatoes then waiting for eggs, then waiting for sausage. This hotel is definitely a disappointment!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in Houston. The place was very quiet, restful and close to the airport. There were some nice eating places near by plus a Longhorn Steakhouse was only 10 min away, which was very nice eating. The Best Western building itself was very attractive. We have to stay at lots of motels and hotels due to our travels and this would be exactly what I think the average all American person would look for.
