Great hotel. A little pricey and breakfast is over at 9 but very clean rooms comfortable beds. Rooms a very modern and nice looking. Staff is nice and friendly. I would stay again.

Best hotel in town clean no crack heads like another close hotel had however road noise and cost keeps it from 5 stars.

Hot breakfast and plenty of it! Comfy beds. Spacious room. Very nice. I had to get a smoking room cause it was the last one they but still very nice. I would definitely stay again. Tractor/trailer parking is the back and a dedicated lot. Kinda tight but doable.

Very clean rooms. Staff was very helpful and insured we were getting all the best deals and rewards BW was offering at the time. Will be staying here again as we work in this area. Parking was good I the rear as we were pulling a trailer. Nice restaurant next door.

Over all very satisfied with the accommodations at the Best Western Motel in Dayton, Tx. It was very comfortable but I could tell the sheets had not been changed. They weren't dirty except for one spot. But I was to tired to mess with it.

Not a bad place to rest your head, but it brings up a good round of Never Have I Ever. In this case, never have I ever been in a hotel that had soap and shampoo dispensers on the shower wall. Overall though, it was quiet, despite the train tracks across the street, and the bed was comfortable. I will be coming back on my next visit. Prices are reasonable.

I recently stayed at this hotel for three nights, from 5-31-2018 to 6-2-2018. I can't remember a worse hotel in my memory. The staff is very rude. The young lady at the front desk acts as if her daddy owns the place and she is beyond reproach. After showing me how I had to jimmy my hotel room door to open it, she acted as if she was put out that I found it unacceptable that a hotel room door did not lock and unlock securely. I was SHOCKED at her lack of care for such an important safety issue. Beyond that, this property stinks. My room smelled like dirty laundry. The AC has leaves or something collected in the blower area and when it kicks on it sounds like a train is in the room. The toilet seat in this room is so loose that when you sit down on it, you feel as if you are going to fall off the toilet on to the floor. At Check-In, I was not given a rate, only told to refer to "the online company you dealt with. " It was as if they are upset that people book rooms online via 3rd party services. She was VERY rude about this. I will be back in this area pretty regularly over the coming months and years. I will drive 20 miles to another town in hopes of finding a hotel that is not such a DUMP. Unfortunately, on this trip I did not have an opportunity to find another place to stay. I figured that if they won't fix something as important as a door lock on the room, they would surely not fix anything else, so I endured it and left.

BW in Dayton, TX needs a total makeover. It looks old and tired. Had issues with lack of hot water for showering, poor lighting, broken lamp, no blankets and difficulty unlocking and opening the door. However, the personnel are nice and breakfast was good.

Very good service and a comfortable room. There was a very slight hint of smoke in my nonsmoking room, but it was nowhere near enough to bother me.

I gave a three star rating because of the strong fragrance used in the building. I assume they use a highly fragrant cleaning solution. It is overwhelming and over powering. I immediately had a headache and my noseamd eyes began to burn. NOT allergy friendly as all! Breakfast was okay at best. Very clean and tidy room. Very nice employees!

I wish I could give them an extra star. The staff are polite and it was the perfect room. Comfortable and clean, nice furniture and spacious. The plug outlets are easy to access and there are lots of them in the room. The breakfast is simple and good, laundry fitness rooms and the whole property is clean and attractive. Looking forward to going back.

The room is well cleaned. They offer free breakfasted with lots of food to choose from. The girls who attended us were very nice and authentic.

Motel is a very nice building and the restaurant next door has great food. But the rooms are noisy from the major road next to them. I believe that some of the money they charge could be used to make the room a little more sound proof. And maybe add a little more light blocking. But the rooms are very nice and comfortable.

This is the best hotel I ever stayed in. Clean, quiet, nice and helpful employees, the beds are comfortable I just loved it! my 10 year old son loved it so much he did his hygiene without me making him… lol.

I a Kairos member and two time a year in here in Dayton Texas staying at the best western hotel. The staff here and everyone else is very kind!

The breakfast is great and the rooms are always clean and the night aduit Samantha is the Best always has a smile on her face and always greets me in the morning and makes my day!

So chill here! We stayed for our wedding night! The staff was totally cool about me bringing 6 friends over to get ready before the wedding. The breakfast was dank! Samantha is the best! The jacuzzi is about to top our morning off before we check out and start our new life together!

As Best Westerns go it is ok. By no means a rated hotel, as a matter of fact I was on the back, outside door area of it so it is technically a motel. But it seemed clean and quite. They did have a small but adequate selection for breakfast the next morning. Pricing at that time was reasonable.

We've been approved for FEMA hotel assistance. Just found out the owner of the BEST WESTERN in Dayton will NOT participate. He is the one that lives in the BIG house behind the hotel. He is getting $100@ night for 100+ rooms. Everyday! Do the math. I understand there is an expense but come on. — — — Profiting GREATLY from others misfortune!? Shame on you! If any of his friends are on this site. Please please please persuade him to help others in need. The poor receptionists are having to take the heat for HIS actions. Especially since there are others opening their home to others in need. KARMA, Mr BestWestern owner, KARMA! Im reaching out to anyone that has some way to help all of us here by persuading him to cut the rate a bit. We didn't ASK to be here. I'm not on a vacation and neither are others. Yes, we are better off than some. But it would be helpful if he would help others in need. I wanted the people of Dayton to know what this particular business owner is NOT doing to help displaced victims. I hope I am wrong and he has padded his bank account and is ready to help out now. We are residents of Dayton TX where this hotel is at, on 7/27 when hurricane Harvey hit us and our home got flooded in, we grabbed our kids and 2 dogs and we evacuated our home as fast as we could… We never have been through something like this before so we were very scared and didn't know what to do… all hotels in Dayton except best western were full… We were turned down a room because of our dogs… we understand their are policies but there is no heart when it's an emergency, the man was very rude to us when he told us no dogs! Made us very upset and sad… there is no way we could leave our dogs in our flooded home… we had no where to go and they would not rent us a room. It's not like we were asking for a free room, we would have paid whatever pet fee to have our dogs with us… we will never recommend this hotel bcs of this… Because even in a nature disaster they would not rent us a room… Zero stars from us.

Well its pretty average place… a little dated on the out side rooms, but what wins it a 4 stars vs 3 is the staff Yohaira, Candora and Johnny, the 3 best people I have ever met, they are the face of best western, there's 2 other women who work there, but expect out sider treatment… the one wouldn't even give me quarters so I could use THERE washer and dryer… really. But later in the day Yohaira (I'm sure I'm not spelling that right) made it right. The other 2 girls act like entitled brats to every one and if the 3 I mentioned didn't make the breakfasts… then I would skip eating, cold things that should be hot and warm milk … yum yum… But when Yohaira, Candora or Johnny made breakfasts… omg it was like eating at a nice place, not fast food. One of the rude girls one morning said she did all the prep work… I was hungry so I ate… Burnt biscuits and still cold sausages … Got me sick… So only eat when the top 3 cook. Another item that really pissed me off is how the owners treated there staff in front of other guest… not just me… really? If you feel the need to degrade a worker who makes you money can't you do it behind closed doors? But other then what I listed the rooms them selfs where not bad but I stayed inside, they have a hotel and motel all in one property. The inside was quiet, and no bugs. The out side the "construction workers" who where staying there smoked pot and where loud. I advise getting a room close to the lobby for a quiet nights sleep.

Checked in late barely got in pool and was told it was time to close most best westerns pool is open till 10 or 1030 our room has mold in bathroom above tub they did offer to move us up stairs we chose to deal with it it also smells musty no comparison to Lubbock best western every one should maintain their building and customer service as they do. If it hadn't been for our family reunion we wouldn't have stayed our family booked several rooms sorry not up to your best western stanards.

Great place to stay if doing business in Dayton. I have been here since March 12, 2017 and have been very comfortable. The rooms are good and the area is quiet with no noise at night.

The staff was so welcoming and the complimentary breakfast was nice an hot. The room was so clean and the beds were so comfortable. We definitely will be going back.

The beds are soft, small pillows though. The swimming pool is not clean, they don't clean it. They charged me $50 for a small stain on the sheets. $50 a new sheet doesn't cost that much! Very disappointed the manager asked the clerk to call the cops on me because I asked him if I could just go buy a new sheet and he said no that it was hotel property damage. I'm so upset I will never stay at a best Western ever again. It's not like they can't rent the room cause of a small stain on the sheets. For the cost plus tax and the deposit I could of rented at a Hilton or a Marriott for the $175. Ridiculous.

The hotel is nice and clean, it does have interior and exterior rooms do make certain you specify if you have a preference. The room appeared freshly remodelled and all of the amenities were nice. Nice TV, clear channels. Good Wi-Fi (20mb) Nice Breakfast I would stay there again.

The room had an unpleasant odor. Other than that it was a good place to stay for the noght. My bed was comfortable, but my husbands brd was broken so he didn't sleep well. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful. Would stay again.

I have stayed here in the past, and it was a nice place, thought I'd stay here again, BUT no pets. I have no one to leave my dog with, so I need a pet friendly place. Guess I'll go 22 miles down the way to LaQuinta!

Really nice hotel. We had a king size bed upstairs and inside. Nice clean room, super comfortable bed. Breakfast was good, too. Will stay here again when we come back to Dayton.

I loved staying here. I called in kind of last minute, the day I was seeking a room. Half expected I was too late to reserve a decent room for my family and I. Not true; I was greeted by a friendly voice who demonstrated a desire to help me. Refreshing after all the snot-nosed kids who have no respect for potential clients. She took very good care of us by booking us a room immediately and even asked what time we wanted to check in, most places have not done that in the past. The rate was very affordable when compared to other rooms of similar quality. Online website gave us exact directions. We arrived and check-in was smooth. They told us where our room was located. It was in mint condition when we arrived. Standard expectations but all needs were met and the friendliness of the desk clerk was the cherry on top. Would stay here again. Also there was a fine steak and seafood restaurant next door that we walked to and was delish. Good show mate.

Room was disgusting. Dirty musty carpet, walls stunk of cig. Smoke. Breakfast was poor quality. I will not be staying in this or any other Best Western hotels if they are like this one.

Excellent place to stay! Very clean and comfortable beds indeed! Also has Truck parking for 18 wheelers.

I stay in various motels 24 weekends each year and this bed and pillows were perfectly comfortable and among the best I find.
