Accidentally left my wedding band in the Room… called up there and of course no one found it or turned it in and know where I left it. It was on the nightstand by the bed and on top of that left a bottle of shampoo that they said that they didn't find it either… How sad these people are so dishonest. Left a message for the owner operator to call me and that didnt happen either.

Unfortunately, I am required to leave a star to write a review. My husband and I stayed at this property 8/15/2018 because he was having surgery early the next morning at BSW. The only positive of our stay was the front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The first room we were given was filthy to say the least. The bathroom was absolutely gross. The toilet had urine all over the seat and the bath tub had black hair all in it as well as on the floor. The furniture was disgusting! The foot stool had BLOOD on top and down the side. We called the front desk and the young lady came to witness the room condition and took pictures and moved us to another room. The second room we were moved to was filthy as well. The bathroom had graffiti on the walls, greasy hand prints and black grease all over the shower curtain. The shower curtain was full of holes and needed to be thrown away. The air conditioning did not work. We reported this to the front desk and asked if we could get our money back so we could leave. She was unable to refund our money because it was late and a manager was not available. She moved us to a THIRD room. This room was not much better than the other two, but it was late and we had to be up early. The bathroom had black hair all over the sink, counter, floor, and tub. The remote for the TV had a note on it saying it did not work. (How hard is it to replace a remote? ). This property is GROSS to the point of being a health hazard.

Mostly clean room. Clean sheets. Comfortable bed. Friendly check-in service. Breakfast is pretty underwhelming. Everything seems pretty in-line with the room prices.

I probably had a bad room because it was nothing like the reviews. The sheets smelled like body odor, the ac didn’t work well, it was too hot to sleep, and the shower was black on the bottom the tub, I had to call for a TV remote, there was a barking dog in the room next to me. The breakfast was dull. I’m only giving it one star because of the kind receptionist. She was nice. This stay really made me want to go back home ASAP.

Quick check in. Room was clean and orderly. The whole staff was wonderful! We were even a little late to breakfast and they let me make my kids a waffle. Check out was easy and we had an overall great stay. The only thing I would suggest is better pillows. They we a bit uncomfortable. Other than that we were comfortable.

Scott Coy Rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. A few things keep from a 5 star. Broken chair in our room. A/C not working in the hallway on our floor and also not working in the pool area. Otherwise very satisfied with my stay.

I give a 5 start to the STAFF Only! They were absolutely AMAZING! So helpful, polite, accommodating. They went above and beyond for us! On the other hand, the rat of the hotel was about a 3 Star. The Pool is HOT! It’s 100 degrees outside and we walked into the pool room and it felt like a sauna, we got into the pool and it was like a very hot bath, it was gross. We let our kids play until they had red cheeks, about 30-45 minuets. We had to go back to the room and take a cool bath just so everyone could cool down. PLEASE turn down the temp of the pool, it’s summer time in Texas! The hotel overall was nice, could use some updates here and there. The carpet was yuck, clean, but stained. Definitely needs updating for sure. The room was decent, beds were comfy and clean. There were a few rust stain in the bathroom but nothing major. It was nice. But we won’t be staying here in the summertime anymore unless the pool temp gets turned down, that ruined it for us.

We stayed here when my mother had an early follow up at the Scott and White hospital across the street. It's a nice hotel. We had a large spacious room with two queen beds that were covered in nice inens and were comfortable, a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. They gave us the hospital price so it was definitely a good deal. The hot breakfast was a great addition to a nice stay.

Not sure What was up with House keeping … My room was not Clean. This was the 1st time EVER. Been coming here last 4 yrs when dad is ill. Had room a couple of days. Never cleaned my room while I was there. But they did make sure I had Clean towels everyday …

The first Thing I will say is the front desk lady has one of the sweetest spirits I have ever come into contact with I had called needing a room immediately with my three children check in is at 3 but she told me to come right away and she would see what she could do. Then when we got there breakfast was already over but she made sure we ate the room was e extremely clean and all of the staff make you feel so comfortable to the lady at the front desk I pray that God blesses you in ways you couldn't imagine I was having rough day you have no idea how your kind gestures made our lives just a little easier that day.

A place, quiet, pleasant. It is clean and has variety at breakfast.

Just arrived home from a two night stay at Country Inn & Suites in Temple (we were there for a medical procedure at Scott & White). I am not sure about the other reviews. I was a little hesitant when I read them, but I am 61 and wanted to be across from the hospital in case they kept my husband overnight. ANYWAY ~ the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, and I AM a VERY picky person. We have stayed in other hotels in Temple when visiting for medical reasons. This will definitely be our new hotel. Only problem we had was the maid cleaned and made the bed and took the wet towels and forgot to leave clean ones. We called the front desk, he apologized and we had towels in less than 10 minutes.

Unfortunate and disappointing stay here. Would have left except for being so tired. Two stars for the first staff member we dealt with who was friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in had a lock that didn't light up and our first set of keys cards didn't work so they had to be remade. There were no full bath towels in the room so after being soaked had to wait for towels to be brought up. There was some sort of gunk left on the duvet cover on the bed, pretty gross. Lastly the rooms are in extreme need of updating and maintenance.

Bad things: personnel was told the room was dirty and said "oh". There was no "I'm sorry". Bathroom was filthy. The bathtub was not cleaned out and there was a broken safety pin with hair on it on the floor. The toilet had dirt on it that needed to be wiped off. Good things: sheets where clean, beds comfortable, and quite.

I didn't hate the place the staff was super nice! It wasn't very clean. Dirty shower curtain, the pool was dirty. The eating area was nice and clean! I like a spotless bathroom it's expected when you stay in a nice place. The room had been smoked in and was heavily sprayed upon arrival due to cigarette smoke. In my opinion the room shouldn't have been rented until the smoke smell left. Bottom line not cleaned to satisfaction. 1star room and restroom, 1 star swimming pool and 3 to 4 star kitchen food area clean. 5 star staff, very kind and helpful! Thanks.

Very nice and safe place to stay. The rooms are non smoking and fresh. I've stayed in Temple at other hotels before but I'll book here again. Friendly and helpful staff.

I have been here 3 nights. Great staff. Breakfast is not the same every day. There is egg, (scrambled or omelet), sausage of some kind, potatoes, waffles, fruit, cereal, oatmeal and bread products with all the extras. Housekeeping was great The best attraction was the spa area. Hot tub and heated swimming pool. They deserve a 5 out of 5 just for that. Towels, chairs, tables and a chair lift for the pool. Easy access in and out of both.

The Staff here is genuine couldn't ask for better the common courtesy is above and beyond. The young lady with the beautiful hair at the front desk was awesome and was always trying to make things better while she was there. The cook has mastered Country Inn Suits menu and you can tell he really cares. My room was so clean and comfortable but I believe the flat screen in my room needs upgrading. The pool and hot tub looked refreshing I hope to utilize next time.

I had a great experience at this location in Temple! From the front desk am and pm, the dinning room attendant to the awesome housekeeper who helped me with my luggage to my car! Kudos to the whole staff of angels there! Thanks for making a somewhat difficult trip enjoyable!

Staying here was very convenient to Scott & White. Due my mother having recent surgery, I was able to come and go very quickly to the hospital. Everything was very clean, the staff was professional, helpful and courteous all in one. This will be my go to place every time I come for a stay to be close to my mom. Job well done!

Eventhough the hotel is not very large, like other hotels, it has all the comforts of a five star hotel. Spacious bathrooms, large and spacious rooms. To be my first time staying, I would stay here again. Very good service and excellent quality.

Clean nice rooms, friendly staff and a wonderful hot breakfast… plus fresh cookies in the afternoon.

I can always count on this hotel brand. Consistently comfortable stay at a great price. This is also a great location to be in Temple, close to varied meal and shopping options.

Clean facilities, helpful staff, great breakfast. Stayed here a few times. Pool is indoor and open until midnight. Just wished they accepted pets, even at an additional charge.

The missus and I stayed here last night (03/17/2016) and it wasn't that bad! The woman at the front desk was courteous and helpful. The only reason I gave this 4 stars was because in our room — you could hear everything. The walls were rather thin so that wasn't great. Bed and sheets were clean and yes there is a free breakfast. For 80 bucks, it was a good deal and it's close to everything. The missus just told me, 'I thought it was great! '

Good room. Great breakfast. Super location for Temple Texas. Great access to the loop so you can get to anywhere in town easily without dealing with I-35 traffic.

The people who work there are very friendly and very clean.

Requested an upper level room away from elevator and was granted upon arrival. We arrived without hair conitioner (me and my sister and our two daughters… all with lenthy curly/wavy hair) and the front desk staff was more than accomodating vy supplying plemty for all of us! :-) Also offered to supply any other extra toiletries we have forgotten! We found there were only two towels available upon arrival, but again, front desk immediately supplied extras for us without hesitation and with happily! Everyone was very friendly from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. Room was very clean and had a very clean, sweet smell to it when we arrived. Comfortable beds and loved that extra bkankets were already in the room available for our use and in a zipped bag! Extra pillows too, also in a zipped bag. We didn't have time to use many extra amenities but were grateful for the ample parking as we had a full moving truck as well as our car. The only complaint we had (which was also fixed immediately) was with the milk at breakfast on Sat morning. The 2% milk was curdled as I poured it onto my cereal. I did notify them and it was replaced in 5 minutes.

There are plenty of better hotels for the same price right around the block. Here's not bad, but it's definitely not worth it. I come to Temple on business often, and this won't be be the place I stay when I do.

Let me start with the positive. The pool was nice and I liked how it was open so late, the staff was nice, and the breakfast was good. Now for the negative. First thing that happened was my son bumped into the stand the TV was attached to. He barely touched it and it almost fell right on top of him. He got out of the way in time but it was close. When the person came to fix it he said the screws holding the stand to the wall weren't long enough and the TV stand was bound to fall sooner or later. The toilet would every once in a while stop filling it's tub so we would have to fill it back up to get it to flush. We stayed 2 nights and this happened at least 4 times. The shower wasn't as clean as I would like it and it took forever to drain so you were standing in a tub full of dirty water during the shower. We had the A/C set for 60 the whole time we were there and there is no way it got even close to there. I didn't wear the sheets or blankets at all and was still hot at night. And to top the weekend off someone broke into my car the night before we left. This was supposed to be a last little vacation with my kids before I had my twins and it was just a complete disappointment.

Even though this was the last hotel stop during our stay in Texas, it was probably the best stay we had. The hotel has a very 'homie' feel to it. Breakfast was right on par and was included in the stay, which is great if you are trying to save a few bucks as a family — unlike the Hilton hotels that charge separately for breakfast.

Exceptional customer service! Rooms are always very clean. The environment is very relaxed and comfortable. Excellent Management and customer service that my family and myself have been fortunate to receive at a hotel! When visiting Temple, this is the place to stay! Great rates plus free breakfast that is delicious! I definitely recommend this location over all! Thank you Country Inn!
