This is a nice place, great breakfast, nice bar and it is conveniently located near so many things!

One of the best stays I've ever experienced. The hotel was very pristine and guest services made sure that my family and I were well taken care of. Thanks Angel and the rest of the staff.

Hotel is brand new. Rooms are very comfortable. A bit on the noisy side, but not enough to keep you awake.

My husband, John Decker and I had an amazing staying at this La Quinta hotel. We checked in with two children and the wonderful desk clerk named Angel want above and beyond for us. Our room was the deluxe king bed with full size sofa bed. It was modern and clean. The rooms were absolutely amazing. The breakfast was great and there were food trucks most every evening as well as a bar. We could not ask for better service. Angel assisted us in making copies we desperately needed for a doctor's appointment the next day. He was gracious and caring, as was all of the staff. Angel really went above and beyibd for us. We look forward to staying again at that location soon. The pool and hot to was clean and inviting. Definitely an amazing experience, thanks to our lovely host an Angel. We pray he gets the recognition he deserves. Can't wait to visit again. Great job guys, I hope Angel is promoted soon. He was amazing!

The sheets weren't completely cleaned. Not even sure if they were. Other than that, the room looked pleasing to the eye. The pool was nice as well for the breakfast. Only concern was the flithy bed.

Well appointed. New. Nice rooms. Space. Clean bathroom with glass sliding door. Great Korean restaurant very nearby. Central location with many places to eat within walking distance. There is also a bar with happy hour offering. 17:00 to 20:00.

Our family stayed here for a total of 5 nights and 4 days. We check out tomorrow. Immediately we noticed it is right next to a graveyard (it didn't bother us but thought it might be useful since we didn't see any reviews mentioning it) When we checked in they were very accommodating. They even put in a crib in our room for our youngest child. Which is a win! The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and we were lucky to be on the first floor right next to an exit which made coming in and out of our room simple with our luggage and three children. We would have given it 5 stars but when we had house cleaning come in the sheets were not changed. The beds were only remade. Even though we placed the card on the pillows. Overall we had a nice stay. If you are looking for a nice hotel we would recommend. They have Wi-Fi, free breakfast that starts at 6am I believe and plenty of parking.

Everything very good Very nice I ready to stay in this beautiful place. Even to do any type of events. All very friendly there :)

The pillows were way too hard. There were 5 pillows. At least 2 should have been soft. The morning we checked out we needed to be out the door at 6:30 am. We came down at 5:45 am. Waited and 6:10 came and went, no breakfast doors opened. I went to the desk and said we need to go and it's still not open. The girl said said well we open at 6:00, I told her it's 6:13! She said Oh! We had to leave with no breakfast! Disappointment.

Stayed Saturday & Sunday night, I am MORE than pleased with my stay! I have reviewed this place on Facebook with more details as to why I loved this location, but I will try to briefly share that here as well. Friendly staff, happy housekeepers, delicious breakfast, amazing bar, & my favorite part… GREAT COLOR THEME throughout the entire gorgeous building! My family lives in McAllen, TX & this hotel will be the only place we book when visiting! PS: front desk has dog treats for your pup, how considerate is that!?

This place is truly exceptional. The grounds of the inn are great, very convenient and contemporary. The rooms are fantastic, they have all the amenities and comfort any business or leisure traveler may need. But what truly sets this place from the rest is friendly and courteous element from the reception and staff team. The customer service they provide is just outstanding, Jessica deserves merit with her attention to detail, always striving for customer satisfaction. To Blas, Clemente, Carolina, Lizbeth and the rest of the team, thank you!

State-of-the-art hotel. Highly recommended. Walking distance to restaurants, McAllen Performing Arts Center and McAllen Convention Center. Amazing bilingual staff. Modern architecture.

I had an ok experience at this hotel. I guess I didn't read into it, but the hotel room didn't have a mini fridge nor microwave. Even though I only stayed one night I like to stock up with water and keep it cool and I wasn't able to. Behind the location there was construction going on but over all I had a good experience. Bed was very comfy!

Internet sucks there key machine was down. Great people and nice breakfast. Some rooms the hot water is hot on the whole dial and there are rooms you can't even get hot water. Lucky they are building a new one behind it bad news I am all most done here.

The service was very good, all in an excellent, friendly people, comfortable beds, quality everything a hotel need to have and more.

There was a few mosquitos and the restroom was dirty, rooms don't look like the pictures. Very few outlets (none of them are near the beds), and there's no USB charging ports.

Nothing special. Restroom was not very clean, short dark questionable hairs in bathroom floor. Left and bought disinfectant wipes and cleaned it myself.

Noce friendly and effecient check in. Room was ok but bathroom smelt a bit funny. Asked for more coffee and never arrived.

Very old and dated, limited parking. Shares parking lot with Denny's which means lot of noise and traffic from late night customers. The photos of the remodeled lobby are accurate, the rooms are a little rough. Stained carpet, shower head is crusty, first night the sheets had holes in them, asked for them to be changed. This is just your basic hotel.

Nice rooms quiet and clean hotel.

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I wish it had more outlets and at least a couple USB charging ports, but no such luck. Basic amenities, but they had the essentials covered. It was located in an area with several food options, which was nice.

Good breakfast, in the room there is no microwave, it is more a motel than a hotel.

Not much different about this La Quinta from any other. The Dennys next door is closed if you are looking to eat at Dennys during your stay (Dennys and La Quinta are almost always together) La Quinta has hot breakfast. Powdered eggs sausage and bacon. (Not a fan myself) Overall, not a bad place with plenty of places around to help with anything you might have forgotten at home.

Keeping in mind that I paid only $64 per night, I'm rating this is accordance with the price. This hotel looks like a motel from the outside, but the room was relatively clean and had current bed coverings. I checked for bedbugs, and didn't find any, however, the dust ruffle had mold on it and a bunch of hair like it had never been washed. Had to keep the bathroom door shut due to cigarette smoke smell that filled up the whole room. The ceiling the the bathroom had been patched and spackled, but not painted, so it looked dumpy. The second night I noticed that the drain in the bathroom smelled really disgusting and drained slowly. On the outside, the exit sign was falling off the wall. Additionally, bring ear plugs if you want to get sleep because the hotel is off the freeway and a major thoroughfare. Saw a sign in the lobby that they're building a new hotel where the current one sits. Definitely a good thing.

The young lady who checked me in is awesome. After a allniter of driving I called ahead and informed that I would be arriving before way before check in. And true to there word. I was able to entwr my room at 7am. And I had forgotten my Id card. The young lady worked with me. And my kids were able to enjoy the pool. Thanks staff.
