Booked a room here online during hurricane harvey. Was disappointed to learn that I could not stay here once I got there. They were having a septic problem. Was assured that I would not be charged for the room. A few days later I was however charged for the room. I tried to call with no answer. Then I went to the hotel called price line, and they called the hotel again. The phone never rang there. I let the woman working there talk to the woman from price line on the phone. I put my cell phone on speaker as I wanted to know why there was an issue with my money being refunded. The woman from price line asked the woman from the hotel about there phone number there. She said they had the right number, but when they called the phone never rang. However, there phone rang many times while I was there. Price line said they needed some information from the hotel in order to refund my money. One thing being a 4 digit code that the woman who worked at the hotel was refusing to give to her. The lady that worked at the hotel wanted me to leave I assume to keep other guest from hearing what was going on since it was 9 am and they had guest in there dining room that was right next door. I told her I would leave when everything was resolved and I knew my money was being refunded. The woman at the hotel insisted that it was not her problem that it was an issue I had to take care of with price line, but all they needed from her was a 4 digit code that she was refusing to give. And this was the whole reason I was having the issue getting my money back. I doubt I was the only one, and I believe that they were trying to keep as much money as possible from people who they were telling wouldn't be charged. Afternover an hour the woman finally called someone and finally they gave price line the information that they needed to refund my money. And then the woman from the hotel wanted to be reassured that they were not going to be charged a penalty and demanded that I give her my phone back so she could talk to the woman from price line to confirm that. I am the customer. I should never have to go through the trouble of letting you talk to someone on my personal cell phone to get you to do you job in the first place, and who are you to think you have the right to demand anything from me. Very unhappy and will never go back to this place ever again.
