Worst hotel ever roches, bed bugs, dirty, no clean towels, can’t even replace toilet paper. I’ve stayed in jails with better accommodations. DO NOT STAY HERE! If you dare plz comment back I’d love to get a laugh from your experience.

Absolutley horrible conditions. Bugs in room and fresh stains on sheets from previous occupants. We had a total of four rooms booked with traveling companions. All rooms were in same condition.

Adequately comfortable for a night's stay, with friendly desk staff and morning coffee! This is an older motel, but with fresh, friendly paint colors & yes, they left the light on!

I shared a two bed room with an oilfield co-worker. The room was small and the shower was even smaller. There is a pool, but it's covered with a tarp, an appears to be out of order indefinitely. It's the cheapest place in town at $124 a night.

Environment not terrible but the bed is comfortable and kigsize.
There are washing machines and dryers.
We arrived in the evening and left in the morning and that was enough for one night.
Low price.

All I can say positive is it was clean and the staff were all very nice. Besides that it was way over priced, small and crappy. The fridge did not work, I had to play with air conditioner to get it working, then leave it running all night, otherwise the humidity is stifling. Pecos is in the middle of oil well country, the hotels are regularly packed and they price accordingly. If you can avoid Pecos, I recommend that you do.

Front desk clerk April was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely come back and stay at this location again thank you for the great stay.

Prices were outrageous. All of the other motel 6s I stayed at on my trip from Texas to Oregon were half the price and in amazing condition. This one was dirty, smelly, and was old and run down.

No hot water. Bad customer service. Everything was disgustingly dirty. I did not get my 10% military discount. Staff was very unhelpful and rude. I told them I was working night and that I would need to sleep during the day and they kept making loud noises and laughing hard around the room. Both cleaning crew n repair guy working on AC in the room next door. He was talking on his cell pgone very loud and offensive in a sexual way. I will never stay at any Motel 6 after this again. I would rather sleep in my car and shower at a truck stop. It would be cleaner.

Girl at front desk was friendly. The rest of it is S**t. The room had hot water but only warm enough to give a child a bath in. Previous person had a dog that tore up the bathroom door and tried to blame on my dog. Had to go to front desk and ask for towels ever night and take out own trash and sweep and mop own floors cause the maid service didn't. They would come in and take the dirty ones and leave. I have never stayed in a motel 6 and never will again. Should have paid a lil more and stayed somewhere else but there was no openings anywhere else. Only stay here if it is a absolute must. Like in my case. Oh and I had to ask for a light bulb to Change it myself because after 5 days of asking for them to fix it I did it myself.

Don't waste your money staying here. If I could score less than a (1) for this place I would. This place is trashy. This is the first Motel 6 that I've ever been to that is in that bad of shape. For sure this place gives Motel 6 a bad name! We reserved rooms months ago for a wedding nearby. We arrived and checked in at 2:30am in the morning. There we're men outside blaring music hanging outside there room getting drunk. I had to park on the other side of the building in order to go to my room because of limited parking. I had reserved two rooms. One one room the door did not lock. The other room the key didn't work. Finally got another key. Went in to the room The bed had pubic hairs all over the sheets. We went to speak to the man in charge. All he could say was I can give you two clean pillow covers but we do not have any other clean sheets. At this time I only have one maid that cleans all the rooms. I am formed him that they needed to hire more helpers and that I would not be paying 200 and something dollars for a room that is dirty and another room that does not lock. Though he did refund our money after a couple days. It is the point of it being inconvenient and unnecessary. Looking for a room for my family at 3:30 am in the morning is not what we were expecting! Thanks Motel 6. You did a great job!

Stayed at motel 6 in Pecos TX on 01/09/18. Front desk staff was nice. The parking lot was very dirty and the pool was empty – see PICS. Appears to be occupied mostly by oil field workers and several big trucks in the parking lot. It’s ok to stay if you’re a man but I would NOT recommend it for a lady or family with kids. The room was dirty but at least it did not smell bad. Small flat screen TV, small microwave and fridge, free Wi-Fi, restroom had shower only no tub at least the room I stayed at. Window A/C unit. The front door to my room did not close properly so I placed some chairs by it for extra safety. Hardwood floors in room. Free coffee in the front office, no breakfast. It was actually pretty quiet thru the night even though the oil field people arrived and were kind of loud between 7pm-8pm after that it got quiet and I slept well. It’s just rough looking and the management don’t keep it up but at least they were nice.

I think I have found the worst Motel 6 in America in Pecos, Tx. Room wreaked of smoke so bad I could hardly sleep. Blanket had burn holes. Floor was filthy, turned my white socks black. Shower was filthy and floor of shower is buckling. I thought I was going to fall through. White towels are no longer white. Back-up roll of toilet paper was wet… yuck! The room needs to be put out of service… and I paid $103 for the night… on a Wednesday night. And the exterior was no better! Never again!

Worst place to stay in pecos rooms were moldy and very dirty. I had to get my own towels they never cleaned the rooms. Terrible management I let them no that there was mold and it smelt bad and they handed me a bottle of cleaner. Rooms smelt terrible. Tv didnt work and they raised the price while we were staying there.

I usually like motel 6 locations for their cleanliness and low rates, however this location was not up to the standard seen at other locations. The room was filthy with visible stains on the walls and ceilings. The air conditioner worked but had a broken housing and the vents were dirty. The bedspread had a cigarette burn hole in it!

Your room don't get clean you got to get your own towels fix your own bed clean your own room.

This place was disgusting. First warning sign: we arrived at 8 pm and the room wasn't ready yet. We had to go eat dinner so we figured it wouldn't be a problem, it would be ready when we returned… boy were we wrong! They tried to change us out to two other rooms, but they were just as bad: dirty/dusty floors, feces stained toilets (including the seat in one of the rooms), suspicious looking stains on the wall next to the toilet and by the toilet paper roll, soap scum stains all over the bathroom sink area and the mirror, food splatter stains in the microwave, food crumbs in the fridge, stained sheets and bed cover, and worst of all — when we pulled back the bed cover the beds looked slept in as if the sheets were not changed from previous occupants… gross, gross, gross, and I'm sure I left some details out of this list. The manager response: "take it easy". He did not care. Needless to say, we got a refund and moved on to a different hotel/motel.

Had no room service what so ever in the 4 days we stayed even after repeatedly asking. Not even clean towels. I had to go and ask for supplies to clean our own room.

Management and housekeeping are the worst I've ever seen. Been staying here for over a month and not once have my bed sheets been changed out. Definately not coming back.

Just run down and trashy but I wasn't expecting much from Pecos tx either. Trash could of been picked up better. I had no problems with the staff. They were friendly.

The room smelled like an electrical outlet was burning and I tried calling the front desk from the hotel phone and there's no direct line to the front desk. Room was not clean, there was used underwear under the bed and beer bottles under the bed. We thought the burning smell was the lamps so front desk took them but for the rest of the night it constantly smelled like something was burning. I have never stayed in a hotel this bad before.

Parking lot was full and only parking available was in the back next to eighteen wheeler parking. Occupants in room above stayed up past midnight and is sounded like they were dropping bowling balls on the floor. A Microwave and refrigerator were promised and the front desk said they were in the room. They were NOT! Price including tax was $95 for one night and was the highest price paid for the entire 10 nights and the worst room. The shower water temperature was very hard to regulate and the floor of the shower flexed a lot.

Motel 6 is conveniently located near the interstate. However, the ice machine was broken and no option was given, I. E. They would get bagged ice in a cooler for guests to stop by the office and pick some up. Also, there was only the outlet in the bathroom near the sink to charge electronics. The staff was friendly and courteous.

Room was dirty wasn't swept or moped. It was dusty. Flies in restroom. Shower pressure sucked big time. I stayed at motel 6 before and they were in way better condition than this one. Oh and ac sucked even it being on high cool. The room was still hot.

It's a typical Model 6. The only reason why we like this place is because we can travel with our dogs.

Absolutely horrible, bugs in room, staff was un-helpful and didn't even refund my stay after I informed them of the problem.

We are on a cross country road trip and motel 6 has been our savior with cheap rates and friendly staff. Unfortunately this pecos motel 6 is very very dirty and even if the front desk lady was helpful to change our room the second one was even dirtier. It seems as if someone either peed on the beds or walked all over it with their dirty shoes. We considered just sleeping in our car it was that bad. So we brought our own sleeping bags from inside the car. The sheets are disturbing, the towels are discolored and dirty, the toilet bowl is still poopy and the room smells seriously like McDonalds had a sweet 16 party in here. I will be contacting the guest services too because it's a shame for motel 6 to be presented like this.

Horrible. The room smelled sour, the hot water took several minutes to get hot. The towels were discolored and the internet speed was barely better than dial-up. Way too expensive for the quality. Spend you money elsewhere.

Room is clean and well maintained. The front desk is excellent, very professional and courteous. The hotel, however, is very over priced when compared to other Motel 6 hotels, even though it is moderately priced when compared to other hotels in the area. The Wi-Fi would have to be elevated to approach poor. I've stayed at Motel 6's coast to coast and many at half the price with better Wi-Fi… it does seem to depend on where the hotel is located, but in this day and age that's not a good excuse. If your'e just looking for a good clean room it has a lot to offer at a reasonable local price. Lastly, there is nothing within walking distance of the hotel except a gas station… which is kind of ironic.

This motel is kind of pricey but the rooms are clean. You can tell the staff really takes pride in their motel.

I love the pet friendly but the cleanliness can be improved. But I have noticed that not all motel 6 is the same. But I will stay here because of my cat.

Stayed here a few years ago. Very clean and comfortable. Nice rooms. Staff were friendly. Wifi worked great.

I work for a company who deals with many room reservations and im constantly calling around to see who has the best rates, I Called the motel 6 to see if there was any rooms available and lady who answered the phone Yolanda was so RUDE, also she sounded like she had me on speaker yelling from across the room even if you have 0 rooms available you should still be well mannered and respectful. My opinion please find another job lady.

On 14 December 2013, while traveling from AZ to MD, my wife and I booked a room telephonically at the Motel 6 in Pecos, TX, primarily due to the Motel 6 allowing pets overnight. Upon checking into our room, we noticed pubic hairs on the toilet seat and in the shower; a used bar of soap in the shower; sheets on bed were wrinkled and stained (as if cover/comforter on bed were pulled up without changing sheets) ; and MULTIPLE (dozens) of crumbs of food under the bed — my dog started eating these crumbs as soon as we checked into the room (don’t think the area under the bed had been vacuumed in months! ). I then informed the front desk of the uncleanliness of the room asked for another room. The second room had similar problems — food crumbs and dirt under bed; empty bottle under bed; sheets wrinkled and stained). At this point my wife was becoming sick to her stomach thinking about staying in this hotel. I asked the "manager" to cancel my reservation and refund my money because we were not going to stay in his hotel. “Manager" was rude and condescending and uncaring in his response — got the impression he dealt with complaints all of the time. "Manager" stated he would not refund our money, and that “he personally inspected each and every room every day” prior to them being occupied by customers. I could not believe what I was hearing!

This place sucks. After we paid for the room, which was done before the clerk even asked for my id, we went to look into the room and it stunk the icebox didn't work and the floors were nasty, we wanted a refund. I failed to read the other reviews on this place before we got the room and just figured it was like most all the other motel 6s but I read them after I opened the door to my room. Boy do I wish I would have read the reviews before I paid the double priced rate. I'll never do that again. But I'm sure you read already NO REFUNDS.

This Motel 6 charged our card at the time of reservation. When I attempted to cancel online at 5 pm it said the reservation was in progress. The main Motel 6 number told me to contact the motel directly. When I called, I was told that there was a 24 hour cancellation policy, which was not on my email confirmation or anywhere else on the website. It did say to call before 6 pm. The manager was very rude and told me that there was nothing he was going to do about it and claimed that he told my husband, who called around 2 pm to say we were going to be late arriving, about this 24 hour policy. This is a lie. When I said I was calling the corporate office he said :Go ahead, it won't make any difference". Well surprise, corporates does care and has assured me if the motel doesn't refund my card, corporate will. Also, the room for 1 night was $101. I have always had great experiences with other Motel 6's, but stay away from this place.

Cost for 1 night was exorbitant $90.90. Facility was shabby, room soiled. Clerk claimed the excessive price was due to all the oil field crews in the area. It is blatant profiteering. I have used Motel 6 since the 70's due to their "pet friendly" policy and mostly reasonable prices. I will be reconsidering motel chains after this trip.

Ok in a pinch. I've seen and stayed in worse. But this is sooo not worth the money. And don't count on Wi-Fi. Apparently unless you are right next to the office you don't get signal. I wouldn't stay here on purpose ever again.
