Nicest hotel in Monahans by far with a very friendly staff.

I accidentally booked the wrong hotel location for my husband through hotels. Com and the nice lady tried to get ahold of the manager of this location who informed her that there was no way they would refund my money. The whole $300 — they would not even give me partial refund. Mind you… I booked this hotel 10 MINUTES before I called to report my mistake. Will NEVER bring our business here again!

I enjoyed my two week + stay here. Good breakfast in the morning. The hotel sports a gym, jacuzzi and pool to wet your whistle. They handled any extensions I needed with ease. Rooms are clean, and able to connect your console /HDMI setup you might have. The coffee is quality too!

Nice Hotel all around. My go to hotel every time I come to Monahans to visit my brother. They remember me by name very thoughtful I must say.

Pleasant stay. My husband & I were pleased with the spacious clean room and the amenities provided in the bathroom. 1st hotel I've stayed at that provides Q-Tips. Location of hotel was easily accessible.

Stating that rooms are hard to find in Monahans is an understatement. Our car radiator went out and had to stop for the night. The Hotel had a convenient location right off Interstate 20. Room was clean and had a great selection of TV channels. A/C cooled down the room rather quickly, just what we needed.

Tried to get a room 2 years ago. They wanted 250 for 1 night for the cheapest room. They were catering to the oil field employees that the company sets up for upper management. I call this price gouging. We travel alot and usually only stay at Best Westerns. Hopefully the new competition in the area will make this place more affordable for travelers. That or the oil work will dry up and this place will be abandoned like the others a few towns away. Shame on you.

My brother and I were passing through Monahans and stopped at this hotel. It was amazing. We got a one bedroom with two queens. It was super clean and extremely comfortable.

We had a flat tire driving across TX and had to find a place to stay for the night. Andy was very nice and helped us get a room. The place is clean and all the staff were friendly. Wish we had a chance to try the pool. It looked great through the window. Also, it was great to get a room w/ 2 king-size beds. Finally the kids had enough space and weren't fighting!

The service I received at this hotel was more than I expected. Benny Patel (hope I spelled it right) was very knowledgeable and polite. In my eyes just saying that he is overqualified for Front desk. He should be running the entire hotel. Only reason why I say this is because he has social skills, quick check-in efficiency and is a very intelligent person.

Front desk very friendly and professional. My room was kept clean though I ended up in disable room as a result of non availability of rooms. In a nutshell, it was a great experience.

Came down to Monahans for work for just a day. Hotel was kept clean. Breakfast in the morning had a quite of bit of options to choose from. Wifi speed was sufficient never lagged out on me.

Very much pleased by the service the hotel has given me. My boss booked me a room with 2 beds even though I'm by myself and the front desk agent asked when my roommate would be arriving and after I informed him I was solo was upgraded to a King Suite for no extra charge. Made my day.

This area is overflowed with oil and natural gas industry workers. When reading other reviews I was surprised with people complaining about the prices. If you don't like the price then go somewhere else plain and simple. I always have my guys stay here because it's a quick transaction and billing is always quick.

Business travel cancelled because of winter weather. They said I was past the cutoff time for cancellation. I asked to reschedule. They didn't care. This is in the oil fields of Texas. There are plenty of people in that area that need rooms. The rooms are $300 each. They charged me $600 for something I had no control over. At the end of trying to negotiate, the desk clerk hung up on me. I do a lot of business in the area and I can't afford to stay at a place that is already charging luxury resort rates for an economy hotel and not being able to reschedule. They just lost thousands of dollars in future reservations.

Everything was great! Awesome Breakfast, but unfortunately the price is outrageous $338 for a Sunday night ☹️

When I learned I was coming to Monahans on business, I was skeptical about overnight accommodations. Please know how excited and happy I am to know the Best Western Plus Monahans is an exemplary property. The rooms are gorgeous and comfortable. The general manager is very helpful and nice.

This place is great, been here for about 4 months now, been waiting to write a review to see any flaws, but they correct them quickly. I've had a few mishaps on my room being cleaned, but when I approached Benny Patel who by the way is always at the front desk, about the situation he took care of it and the housekeeping in the next morning cleaned my room promptly and have been doing so to the schedule that I requested due to me working at nights.

Too expensive for the facility, may be just the oil boom pricing. Breakfast was also not great. Barely makes a 3 star.

I've been here during the 1st oil boom and now this is my 2nd hitch. I used to do all my bookings with Andy, now Benny at the front desk took my reservations and situated all my guys. Seems as though he's taken over the reigns of the operation. Very friendyly fellow. The hotel has been upgraded since our last stay. Pool is convenient open all the time and inside.

My stay at the hotel was the most outstanding experience the food was amazing all the extras are terrific the hotel is clean the grounds are very well kept I am hoping whoever stays here the staff is very knowledgeable about the arela and able to point you in the right direction to fun here in Monahans and Texas a like will be back real soon they make you feel like family not just guest got friends will definitely tell them about this hotel.

Benny Patel at the front desk was very professional and welcoming. My Suite was perfect and thr cleaning ladies did a great job of keeping it that way during my 6 night stay. Will be back again.

I have been working in the area and the Best Western was a nice surprise. The area is busy but the hotel and staff is very nice. It is in a good location so that it is easy to get around.

This is the best hotel in Monahans TX, family run and the service is great. Very personable and theyll work with you on all your special needs. Definitely coming back,

Enjoyed my stay. The indoor Pool was very relaxing as well was the hot tub. Lastly, although my room faced the Interstate I didn't hear any noise from the traffic.

Was upgraded to a suite for no extra charge! Very clean and quite overall a very pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend this to other coworkers staying in the area! And Benny was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and restaurants.

I had no idea what to expect of this Hotel when I made reservations. The cleanliness of the property and the caring staff was awesome. My co workers and I didn't know exactly how long we would be here. But the general manager took care of us and made sure we had a place to stay after a hard day's work. If I ever work in this area again I definitely will stay here.

I've stayed at this hotel several times now, both before and after the renovations were completed. The rates are fair and the staff is accommodating. Andy works too much. It seems like he's always there, any time I show up, day or night. Plus he greets me by name. They all take pride in maintaining a clean hotel, and IF you have an issue, they take care of it immediately. When I'm in the area for work, this is the only hotel I choose to stay in.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. The lobby is attractive and the check-in was quick. The rooms I have stayed in are clean, spacious, quiet and the bed is comfortable. The staff has always been courteous, friendly, and helpful. I was on the elevator today with other guests and they stated how happy they was with the stay. The thing stated most by other quests is how quiet their room was. One even said the night before they stayed at different Best Western in another city. The quest stated it was so noisy and hard to sleep. Last night was very pleasant.

I am completely happy with the service I received here. Andy is a great manager and always makes sure the our company needs are met. I travel for work and stay in motels/hotels 95% of the time. Andy and his staff have made my extended project stay feel much more like home then a motel. The rooms are very modern and have all the necessary amenities. I recommend this Best Western to all my coworkers and sub contractors.

Great hotel for families with an indoor pool and excellent breakfast. What caught our eye the most was the over-sized room my family had. Consisted of 2 King Sized Beds in the room and there was still ample space. Also we noticed that the hotel is right in the middle of some major Oil production activity so the hotel houses ALOT of the workers. Book early as we did because they were sold out all 3 nights my family stayed.

Stayed at Best Western Plus Inn and Suites and had a wonderful stay. Andy helped me with my reservation, and gave me the best rate possible, which I was happy with! Andy is a blessing to this hotel. Room was by far more nicer than my expectations. I have not been able to give it a rest in finding mattress make and model for the mattress in my room. It was so comfortable. Best bed ever! Love the amount of pillows on bed. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. I will always stay in the future at this hotel!

Bed was soft. They had HBO so didn't miss out on Game of Thrones. Fitness center did the job. They don't allow smoking, but had a Gazebo as you come out of the side entrance. Located right off Interstate 20

Front desk agent was very friendly & recommended a great restaurant in the Jazz Cafe. My room was enormous and detailed clean. Breakfast had too many options. The Omelette and hash browns were great.

The Hotel was great for me and my coworker. We came into town for one night to drop off a truck to an oil rig and checked in late. The gentleman at the desk gave us a late checkout. He also upgraded our room to 2 King Size beds which I said wasn't necessary, but insisted at no extra charge. The omelettes and potatoes in the morning were awesome with the tabasco. Clean hotel and great care will be staying here again next time we have to drop off another truck.

Came in town for a funeral. The room and bed was very comfortable. Just what we needed. The breakfast was filling and there was always plenty to eat. Would stay again of ever back in town.

This hotel has been newly remodeled and looks beautiful. I was there visiting my father for the weekend. The pool was warm and the hot tub was just perfect. We had a double queen room and the beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows. The room was very clean. The breakfast bar has a variety of food. Cereal, oatmeal, omelettes, ham, sausage, waffles, coffee, tea, juice, milk, bagels, croissants and more. They also have a room where they sell snacks like chips, cokes, etc. The owners are very nice! Will definitely be back.

Hotel looks fairly new. Room expressed a modern look and was immaculately clean. There were plenty of clean towels in the restroom. The hairdryer was in a bag in one of the cubbies. The TV had all HD channels and lots of Premium channels as well free of charge.

Most amazing thing happened. They shut off water from 8:30pm until 10pm. Front desk (Andy) kept lying saying would be on in 5 min for over an hour. This was avoidable. They allowed maintenance for water system instead of normal maintenance period at 3am. When persistent in inquiring about water being turned on the idiot at front desk says. "You know if you want to check out we'll refund your money. " Never been spoken to so rudely. We checked out and went to La Quinta. Very very poor customer service. Don't reward them with your business.

The front desk said she had just recently been hired and was having some difficulty with our reservation. She called the Manager Andy Patel for assistance and he had us checked in within 2 minutes and we were on our way to the room. It was a brand new hotel clean sufficiently and warming. The town of Monahans itself doesn't really have that much to offer but food and entertainment wise after driving through but the hotel was nice. I'm coming back through West Texas after visiting my ill grandmother and have already booked a room for my return trip back home.

Nice new hotel. Staff was kind and quick at checkin. Hotel was clean and everything worked in the exercise room. After a short workout the hottub was refreshing. Didn't wake up in time for breakfast.

Overpriced, under service. Room was clean and bed was ok. What was wrong? Wifi is a joke, works intermittently and constantly drops service. TV had few channels and about half of them had a loud buzz in the audio making them painful to watch. NBC and ABC were temporarily "out of service". Pool and "Hot Tub"… not so much, and breakfast was bad food, poorly prepared, cold old eggs and bacon was not good. Checking in I was quoted $119.95 for one night stay as senior "discount" rate. I thought that was high but it was late so I agreed. When I checked out I was charged $129.95 + $16.00 tax. Complained but desk clerk said night clerk made a mistake and there was nothing he could do. Don't plan on being in Monacans again but I won't stay here if I am unfortunate to be in this desolate place. Place was almost empty, less than 10 rooms occupied but they still put me on the second floor. I guess since they can't attract many stayers they gouge the few they do get. Good riddance… I won't be back!

The gentlemen at the desk took care of me again from check in to check out. I say again because this was my 2nd go around at the hotel. Stayed here on my way to Florida 2 weeks ago and back here again on my way back home to Arizona. Had a couple of questions about a good place to eat. Recommended Jazz Cafe and was very good food. Once again to the room was smelling new like last time. This time though I checked in a little later in the day and wasn't able to get a suite they were all already taken but he gave me a room with 2 King Size Beds in it for the same price I had paid in my previous stay. That showed character to me that they cared more about me as a returning customer then getting a few more dollars out of me. Although I don't plan on traveling through the West TX area in the near future I advise any travelers stopping in Monahans to give this place a try.
