Great priced rooms, with a decent location. Stayed two nights for a concert and was very pleased with our experience. Parking was easy and tons of space. As some other reviews have stated, yes it is a bit dated, but the interiors were remodeled and the room was modernized. No fan in the actual shower/toiletEverything else was great, no complaints.

It's a good hotel. You get what you pay for. Still I wouldn't complain about anything. Clean rooms.

Pretty standard. No issue finding parking or anything. Nothing special really, just a classic cheaper hotel room. Looks rougher from the outside that it actually is. Their "breakfast" was lacking but the local places around Austin are too good to not go to anyway so no big deal. Water pressure in shower was good though!

Nice modern, and comfortable rooms. A bit pricey. Has a pool, and promised HBO but HBO was "down". Staff are friendly and helpful, and I had no complaints whatsoever about my stay of 2 days here. Good access to the city life.

Looks are deceiving. It looks sort of rough outside, but the inside is beautiful. Great quiet place. Breakfast was great. 4 stars for the location. It's very hard to get out of if you park in the wrong place.

Nice and clean room. Parking lot was tight and not made for our full size truck. We couldn't find TV remote so front desk promptly gave me their remote. Was given extra towels right away too. Would definitely stay here the next time we are in Austin.

I could have been somewhere else and would have gotten better service than this place. Not happy with this place at all. Beds were super uncomfortable and just not the place I would want to come back to. If I could I would give this place a 0.

They are very unprofessional and I will never work there again and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone they have real bad drug infestation over there.

The front desk was rude. I had reserved a 1st floor room, but because I was late he gave it away and made me go up stairs, I have a bad knee and stairs are difficult to start with you add a suit case and it almost impossible to do. Then he's had the gall to ask me if I knew my job because he was very good at his, not if you can't follow directions buddy. The room was dirty and still had dirty towels in the bath. He asks me if there was clean ones there if so just move the dirty ones. I think Brandon needs a new career be cause hospitality is not his strong suit.

THEY HAVE BED BUGS! I stayed in 205 and woke up with bites all over my body. I've had bed bugs before and I react much differently to these than normal mosquito/other bites which is how I know it was bed bugs. I also wore jeans the day before and the day after and yet had a bug bite on my thigh and the only time I could've been bit was while in the room where I wore shorts. I contacted corporate and they said they notified the franchisee and that I would be contacted by the franchisee to sort this out. That was over 2 weeks ago and I still haven't heard from the franchisee.

Came from Washington state, very personable staff. Also very helpful with local things to do. Rooms were clean and cleaning staff was on top of everything!

The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The exterior and amenities we're outdated and need a bit of maintenance but in general it was a convenient hotel.

Horrible management! We stayed two nights here and one of the nights we had some random guy knocking on our door non stop so we had to call front desk to scare him away! After checkout, my friend who booked the room got charged $100 for the deposit because they said there was a damaged towel! It took us two weeks to get a hold of the manager, David S, to find out about the $100 charge, he gave us multiple stories about a damaged towel then it was damaged sheets! We asked for proof since he had conflicting stories and he said he had pictures to send but never did, when we called back again about the pictures he was very upset and hung up on my friend! We have contacted corporate as well but seems they condone this type of behavior from their management staff. Book at your own risk!

My family and I had a nice stay here the rooms were clean and the staff was nice I recommend this hotel to anybody!

Right now they're remodeling so it's hard to find anything in any Department besides the grocery section it is organized and in its place but everything else is confusing scattered and in disarray so you'll spend more time trying to find what you're looking for but there are Walmart employees walking around helping guide you to find what it is you're looking for. There is no method to the madness… travel containers and toiletries are in the pet section, hair products are all mixed up and not together it will take you more time than what it's worth to find a brand of shampoo that matches its brand of conditioner. You get the point.

The room was fine, but the staff were very noisy repeatedly around 3am. I'm assuming they were taking care of garbage, but there were loud clanking noises repeated every 10mins or so for about an hour. Aside from that, the other guests were fairly inconsiderate in the early hours of the morning as well. I was told by a driver my second day that the place receives a lot of thru traffic from party goers and local night life.

Clean room, covered parking was nice. Our room was an adjoining one and we didn't have much confidence in the lock, it didn't seem to want to "click" into place. Usual carb breakfast, no protein.

It is comfortable and good price, very close to UT.

Days Inn is a pretty good place, easy to check in, get to room. For about $70+ a night it's not too bad, noise levels aren't bad and free breakfast in the morning is a really nice addition. Being close to UT of Austin is a really big bonus as well depending on what you're here for. Overall I give the place a 8/10!

The rooms had a very strong musty smell. It looked newly remodeled. The breakfast had some delicious waffles and the basics. It's good because it has a low cost. Ideal to get alone to sleep.

Good for an inexpensive over nighter to visit your kids at UT. Decent free breakfast and friendly desk clerks, limited parking, useless pool. It's for when all you want is a cheap place to spend the night and don't mind subpar as long as it's clean.

Room ia ok. No hot water for shaving. Hot water for shower. Night clerk asleep at desk @7am. Waffle machine not turned on. Milk for cereal not cold. Only reason for staying her was because wife was admitted to St. David's Medical Center in Austin.

Run down exterior but renovated interior with required modern ameneties. Service is minimal to non-existent. Value for money if you don't expect much.

Location was pretty sketchy. I didn't feel safe. Actual room and employees were more than pleasant though.

Stay was nice; not great, but nice. The blackout curtains on the windows weren't terribly effective, and the air conditioner in our room made a few strange noises as it turned off and on, but otherwise the room was nice and the complimentary breakfast was good.

You get what you pay for. Decent enough for the budget minded. My room, lots of noise from traffic. AC too loud, even on low. First thing I see when entering is a dead cockroach on the floor. Friendly staff though.

It was near to everything, rooms were clean and staff so friendly breakfast waffles shaped as Texas map, we arrived at 1 pm and they let us check in.

Hotel is fine for the price we paid. They recently renovated some of the rooms but we were put in a non-renovated room. It wasn't the greatest but it isn't the worst we've been in.

Picked this hotel because it was close to St. David's Hospital. It was a late check-in, the parking lot is so small, SUV's and Pickups have problems driving around and parking. Walked in to the room, looks like paint slapped over the walls to dress up a pig, the "wood" laminated flooring was peeled and buckled from a water damage, room smelled damp/humid even with the home wall mounted a/c unit running. It did have a granite surround above the bathtub and on the mirror vanity The bathtub had a crack / rust ring near the drain and when turning the water on, the fixture would shake back and forth. The bed was about as soft as the floor. Plus if you wanted to watch TV, hope you speak spanish! About half the TV channels were not in English… We have stayed in many different hotels (over 40) over the years traveling for business and this was ranked on our top 5 worst places.

Staff was always friendly but our housekeeping was not too good. Our coffee did not get replaced so we had to go down to the front desk and ask for more. At the desk the guy wasn't to pleased for us to be asking. The breakfast was very small! The coffee deal was doable but the small breakfast is why this rating is at 2 stars. They only had about 3 things to chose from and that's it.

Definitely Value For Money. The complaints about breakfast being so-so, I think for a price that was lower by almost $50 per night than my usual stay at the Hampton Inn on I35, the lack of sausage, eggs, and bacon can definitely be overlooked. I mean, you can get all kinds of everything for $50 to last you a whole day. Parking: Adequate parking, although a trifle bit tightly spaced, also I am guessing you hit one of the pillars, you are likely to bring the 2nd floor down — — just the feeling I got :) I will echo the words of another reviewer — — looks ghetto on the outside, but nice and cozy on the inside. Everything was in order, I have nothing to complain about. Don't expect too much quiet, you are smack on the I35 and across the street from an emergency hospital. So, the noise is going to be around. Just put your A/C on "constant fan"; the white noise will mellow things out. Staff — — the two ladies who were at the counter were extremely friendly. Bottom Line — — would I return? Yes, but only when traveling alone; when in Austin with the family, it will have to be the Hampton Inn or the Double Tree.

The rooms are well made and clean although I found numerous cat hairs on the bed and on the floor, also the tub is very slippery and I also fell, thankfully without getting hurt anywhere.

Room was spacious and clean. But my jewelry was stolen and when I reported it nobody seemed to concerned. It wasn't recovered and I got nothing in compensation. Also reported x2 that shower was difficult to use, but nobody came to fix it. Complimentary breakfast ok… but not anything fantastic. Liked how close it was to UT.

Great place to stay in Austin, don't be frightened by the outside… It's an older building but the insides have been updated recently and it's a nice place to stay. The area is safe and close to downtown, can't beat it for the money. I stay here every time I'm in Austin.

My friends and I stayed here Saturday night 05/15/16 in room 112. Next morning woke up with bed dug bites on my left arm and leg. (There so nasty). Tried getting my money back but the manager Larynx didn't want to give me back my money. Showed them a picture of bug. The maintenance lady took it away and I got mosquito bites. I'm like no these are clearly bed bugs. Tried to cause a sence in the front desk so people could hear loud enough and to get my money back.

I stayed a night here when I first moved to Austin and it was ok. It did the job, which was to provide a place to sleep. No bugs or anything like that. But there were some ghetto people outside in the parking lot talking loud all night. The price was also really high ($110). The "breakfast" isn't even worth it. Overall, ok place to go in a pinch but if you're planning ahead go somewhere else.

The room was nicer than I expected, but towels were older and scratchy. The Wi-Fi didn't maintain a strong consistent connection. Overall it was OK.

Me and my boyfriend CHRIS were tired we had been sleeping in a car for a few months. We really wanted a nice stay somewhere so we decided this days inn. Once arrived we paid with a card with Amanda. We got things out of the car and a child. Once in the room we checked everything. Tired with a 3 year old is diffcult once u have to backbup and leave. Because the room is dirty, TV didn't work, ac unit worked off the unit. Out of a lot the Days Inn I been too we have never been treated like this, let alone disrespected, the clerk laughed in our face when returned for a refund after been in the room for 15-20mins. The clerk refuse refund, gave us attitude, refuse to give us a receipt, or any supervisor or manager number. Then next morning we called to confirm our refund and the manager gets an attitude with us then tell us we are on camera and then she starts demanding time points of the night before. Now we dont have money to waste and then the manager escalates the problem by refusing to give her boss info. The fight isnt over because the customer is always right. Especially for $195 when super 8 is luxury running at $185. Word of advice don't waste your time or money. Victoria Cuperson is not a great representation of days inn.

A very reasonable priced motel for downtown Austin. Paid 160 for a room on a sat night. The room itself looked like it had just been remodeled. It looked nice and had that fresh paint smell. The location Is the only problem. It is easy to miss since it is right underneath the highway on the access road. I would stay here again.

The desk attendant (skinny black girl) was very rude as soon as I walked in was disrespectful so I decided not to book a room and walked out. If you want someone to stay you do not treat a customer with disrespect and disregard.

Nice location, but bad surrounding, front looks good but around back horrible it looks like a total different part of town.

Terrible service. They are money grabbing filthy humans and this is what is wrong with businesses today. They charged me $400.00 USD for smoking in the room. I do not and have never smoked. I asked for proof and they were not able to provide. I am out $400.00 and have no understanding as to why. Never ever stay here. Fair Warning!

Ok for a quick night stay during the week, way too much $$ for sat, sun, for the conditions offered. Price jumps 2x for sat, sun, not worth that. Just across highway from St David's med ctr, why we picked it. Room ok, away from highway noise ok. Next time will pick better in advance.

I was 1 year ago approx June 2014 the price was $850 Mexican and good service and attention is good, room is comfortable and clean, breakfast is just as basic, juice, milk, toast the good thing is that is near downtown austin near the Centre approx 15 minutes. I think the price and the location is fair though should get a little more price to have more customers.
