Just like to say that our stay on the 22nd of August was very nice and clean. LotsL of room for a handicap like my husband. Everything from check in to check out. Take it from a 20 year La Quinta Inn retired head housekeeper.

Their pool is one of the cleanest I have been to. Staff is amazing and always super friendly!

I love ❤️ this hotel. The employees are very nice and friendly. I especially liked the housekeepers. I stayed one week on two occasions and developed a great friendship. The workout room was awesome and the BREAKFAST was the BEST! The hotel is clean and beautifully decorated.

I left a review previously and it was deleted. I stayed at this La Quinta on 3/23 with a large group for the Texas Independence Relay under the last name of Lawler. I mistakenly left my Tempru-pedic pillow in the room. I called the day I left and made arrangements to have the pillow shipped to my home near Austin. We created a fed ex account per the managers instructions to have it shipped. I’ve called the hotel 3 times and asked the manager to call me to tell me why it hasn’t been sent and I have yet to receive a reply. It’s been 3 weeks now and still no pillow. If this was a Marriott, it would have been sent on the first day. Can someone please just ship me my pillow on my own fed ex account paid for by me? Please.

La Quinta was nice clean and they replaced all consumable amenities daily. From staying here before they're breakfast is good. A comfortable place to stay awhile like I did for work.

Traveling through the area and I must say, they are very clean, most friendly staff I have ever seen. That's alot coming from someone who lives in Vegas. This is a mist if you need a place to stay!

Breakfast could have been better, and the room had Couple minor cleanliness issues in the bathroom, but overall ok. Very nice staff.

Really nice. Hallways have a pleasant smell. Comfortable beds. Slept like a log.

Location was a little out of the way, we were taking I 10 to LA and found this little gem was pretty inexpensive, it is probably 20 mins off of I 10. Room was good, it was clean, the shower had a drip though and it was weird trying to get warm water. The settings were boiling or ice cold. The bed was comfy and the air worked fine! I love the nice furniture in the front lobby area. Service was Awesome! The same girl was working when we checked in and checked out and she was wonderful, very polite and helpful!

Good service considering they were housing hurricane victims. Elevator was not working the day we checked in. I had to make 7 trips back and forth to our 3rd floor room to get all our things unloaded.

My boyfriend and I chose this hotel as it had good reviews and was close to the event we would be attending. When we arrived the front desk staff was very nice and accommodating; however, things started going downward from there. The room was nice and clean but when we got ready to shower we realized there was no hot water. We figured out that you had to turn on the water AN HOUR in advance for it to heat up. The AC/heater was also not working so the room was freezing. We worked around the shower and AC thing since we really weren’t in a hurry. The next day we left our room around 11am and came back at 9pm… our room was not cleaned, and when we went downstairs to ask for more towels we were told they did not have any. At this point we were just tired so we went to bed. The next morning before we checked out we saw someone had pooped on the floor near the elevators! The whole floor smelled! I don’t think we’ll be visiting again. This only gets two stars because of the nice ladies at the front desk.

The hotel is brand new and for that area very luxurious. Rooms are nicely adorned and hot breakfast (free) in the morning.

I stayed one night on my way to South Padre, what a mistake. This is the dirtiest Quinta I have been to and I've been to many Quintas since I usually travel with my dogs. The carpet on the hallways and in the room was filthy. The bed's sheet was dirty as in it was not changed after the previous guest. There were food and drinks left in the refrigerator. The AC was beyond dirty with a thick layer of dust on the vents, it triggered my allergies. There was a musty smell in the room that was overwhelming, every surface was dusty. The tiled floor on the entrance and bathroom was filthy. It is evident that the cleaning and maintenance crew are not doing their job, but at the end it's the manager who is at fault. I will never stay at this Quinta again, and I do not recommend it.

The staff was very accommodating to us and the other evacuees from hurricane Harvey. Facility was kept clean and in working order. Didn't get a chance to eñjoy the pool or exercise room, but they looked good, too.

No customer services. Unfriendly staff. Terrible dining recommendations. Communication errors (failed to clean room as requested).

Terrible customer service desk manager Chrystal very unfriendly. Didn't clean our room. Not informative when asking about places to eat except for a terrible whole in the wall cow palace. Did not feel welcome at all. We won't stay again.

Wasnt bad at all. I stay at a lot of la quintas and this one was one of the better ones. Shouldnt run into any issues.

The La Quinta was very clean and the workers were very friendly. When we travel we stay at the La Quintas they are dog friendly. For sure we will revisit the La Quinta in Gonzales.

OK so far. Don't like the floor tiles. Grout is missing. Noticed one "unknown" dark spot by the toilet, inside the "cork zone"… where there is no grouting… and it would help if in "handicapped and disabled" toilets… if they can be a little bit higher, because of the "mileage" (not the #), on my kneecaps. BUT overall great so far.

Awful service by an absolute brat. She muttered her name as Bronwyn or something similar like that. If you don't like your job, which you clearly don't just quit. Get an education and get something better. Thanks for your rudeness and bad manners on the phone just now. I'll take my business else where. 6/9/17. Avoid!

Very clean, friendly staff. Only problem I have is the eggs are mixed with pork products so can't partake in their breakfast.

Very Friendly staff. Decent pool. Huge, really nice rooms for the price.

Hotel was newer and super clean. Beds were soft and comfortable, shower was a full size and easy In and out. They had a great breakfast and super nice breakfast area. They made our stay easy and fast. We will definitely stay again at this location.

Very new hotel, excellent fitness center, plenty of parking, and friendly staff. Also fast internet.

The hotel is fairly new so all the furniture and appliances were all updated. Overall a great place to stay.

Best hotel I have ever stayed in, I can't wait to come back next time. They're fitness center was amazing and pool was on point, if I could recommend any hotel to my friends it would be this one, staff was friendly and helpful with all my questions about the area.
