Phones in rooms don't work, no way to call other rooms or front desk. Bathroom fixtures covered in lime and scale. Front dest attendants are not available and you have to wait or yell for them for assistance.

Great atmosphere and clean rooms!

Check in was fast and easy. Staff was very cordial and pleasant.

The room and the staff, I am going to miss them, work trip.

Very bad receptionist I ask her if there’s a room available for today she said yes when I said I need one night and she said no sir we don’t have what a rude lady you can’t do that to a customer like me who loves to sleep holiday inn where ever I go. she wasn’t even willing to talk.

Great hotel. The bed is super comfortable, especially when you don't have to share it with Chris. Only suggestion I have is to have Texas shaped waffles.

Clean, recently built hotel. Comfortable rooms with big TVs. OK breakfast options (complimentary). There is a popular restaurant across the street (barbeque) that you can walk to. Other stores and movie theater are within walking distance. Good option for family or business traveler.

This was a good stay. What makes this hotel great is the friendly people and service. Room was clean but lacked fresh feel. One negative was the AC unit. Would not blow cold air. Yes I would stay here again.

Friendly staff, room reliably furnished. The breakfast here was not appealing. I don't think its up to PAR with other Holiday inn Express as far as breakfast goes. No waffle or pancake maker. I usually stay at Holiday Inn express just because you can usually expect a certain level of hospitality and I Loooooove the waffle makers they almost all seem to have. Not this one. Not even a pancake maker, which is better than no waffles. Thursday morning, there was no hot breakfast at all. I couldn't believe it. I understand an occasional staff hiccup but the lousy breakfast the 2nd day didn't make up for no hot breakfast. A couple weeks later, I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Athens, TX. That stay made up for this one. An unheard of, 6 day a week Happy our every evening of snacks, Alcoholic/non-alcoholic (and liquor on request) all free of charge furnished entirely by the owner! Never have I seen this at a Holiday Inn! Take notes Del Rio HIE.

Rooms: more than adequate. Furnished with comfortable chair to watch TV. Microwave and refrigerator. Keurig coffeemaker rounds it off. Comfortable bed. Bathroom adequately stocked. Left something at home. They can help you with toothbrush etc. I left at 05:00. Even though the hot breakfast was only served at 07:00 the coffee was fresh. The cold items were ready and I could get some cereal. A life saver. As I was driving a motorcoach parking would be a problem however there was a massive parking lot next door belonging to a shopping mall. Problem solved! Why not 5 stars? There is only one elevator serving four floors.

I stay here twice a month for at least 3 nights and this hotel is outstanding! Egg white veggie omelettes! The staff is gracious and professional, no way is this a “two star” hotel… 5 stars all the way!

Comfortable beds, great bedding, large, well kept rooms and very good breakfast. Staff members all pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Excellent hotel, but a very high cost per night.

I just stayed here for the weekend with family and extended family. The staff welcomed us and helpful with info about area, beds awesome, breakfast outstanding. I want to commend Mrs Racheal in breakfast area! Very out going! I made a mess on accident and she went out of her way to not only clean the mess, brought me what I had spilled, in my frustration her help changed my morning! Thank you!

It's very clean. The breakfast is great and the beds are really soft. We love our room!

One star for the clean room, everything else about the service is terrible, the staff doesn't know whats going on, charged my room to another customer, somehow put thier address on my room. Also did not have my rewards membership in there, which I dont see how they can mess it up being the reservation was made directly thorough the IHG app, all that information comes straight thru there and all they needs is an id to confirm who you are, there definitely needs to be Q. C training and a more friendly staff instead of a stuck up "i know everything" attitude, very un professional. Not only that but all 4 people from my company that stayed had seperate reservations and all 4 of them encountered the same issue. Also fixing this issue for us cost us unnesscary time in the morning and caused us to be late meeting the customer.

Great hotel to stay at if your traveling to Del Rio. Check in was quick and easy. Staff was friendly and room was clean. Free breakfast and free Wi-fi was also included. Conveniently located off highway 90. Plenty of food choices within walking distance. Only complaint I have is the ice machine was broken on my floor. I would stay there again.

It held its reputation of the chain well. Minor criticism would be that the front desk did not explain anything local, such as breakfast times or elevator location, during check-in.

Clean room. AC sucks — it doesn't really cool down the room, but at least it's not loud. Wi-Fi connection is sluggishly slow. Fyi, rooms do nor have safes in them.

Stayed for almost 24 days & Pette at front desk has supported me everyday. It would have been very difficult in this new place without his support.

It was a great hotel had a great pool which is great for the kids and had the greatest breakfast.

Nice newer big clean, modern, rooms, we will be coming back. Avoid the amistad resort it's a smelly dump.

Great service and good staff. Only thing wrong was our suite had no shower curtain and we had to be moved other than that great.

This is where I prefer to stay when I visit family. I live in DFW I've stayed at the Ramada and that is OK if I bring my dog with me because Ramada is pet friendly. But when Scarlet stays over with her friends I come to holiday inn.

I was in this hotel 6 monts ago and the service is good for me is the best hotel in town.

Excellent service and GREAT Internet! They offer a fabulous breakfast.

Ranked low because breakfast is not good (biscuits are raw) and NOBODY knows how to activate the Wi-Fi. As a traveler no Wi-Fi is unacceptable, front desk is well aware of no Wi-Fi service but state they just don't know how to use it.
