Staff is nice, rooms were clean. Needs some updating.

Pet friendly, good price, breakfast buffet. Conveniently located. Everything is fine except bathtub is gross. Bring flip flops and don't think about sitting in it.

Never will I ever recommend this place for events do to the poor service on the event rooms… They toldus the day before the a/c was out & we I showed up to start decorating I was a appalled at the table & chair covers were wrinkle like they took them out of the dryer straight to a container not pressed full wrinkles. When we ask them to replace the covers & they told us thats how the material was, even if they put it in the dryer again it wasn't going to work.

Booked a room online after a delayed flight (delayed to 12:30 am) for that am with the intention to drive right from the airport to the hotel, the way that the reservation came was for the same day (correct) but for the night not early am check in (which is not correct) We arrive at a little before 2 am, he wont let us check in until 3 pm which was wrong. He admits hotel is NOT full, yet he refuses to correct the reservation to check us in at 2 am. We will be getting up at 6 am to leave and travel to another city so its literally a 4 hr stay… thats it. He can easily rent the room after 3 pm to another party. And he wont accomodate by fixing the problem nor will he refund the money for the reservation that we wont be using. So we had to either sleep in the car or go to another hotel to rent a room, which we did. Weve now paid for 2 hotel rooms! >: (Again, we will be in another city by noon and have a reservation for after 3 pm in another city. We just needed to rest for 4 hours.
I would NOT recommend this hotel. HORRIBLE customer service!

I checked in late last night and asked if I could check out 1 hour past the normal check out time (even offered to pay a late checkout fee) … and they refused and said I would have to pay for a full night… for ONE HOUR. Seriously!? Worst customer service ever. Who even does that?

Spend the extra money and just go to a holiday inn express. Could hardly understand the staffs strong accent. Rooms were outdated and falling apart. Carpet felt really dirty on bare feet. TV remote had tape holding the batteries in because they are too cheap to put a new cover on it or get a new remote. Paint was peeling off the bathtub. Bathroom fan did not work. Black mold on the ceiling and walls. The shower handle had to be turned so hard to get the water to stop dripping you felt like you were going to break it. Then you could barely get the water back on because it was so tight. The parking lot gets filled up from people going to the bar next door which make it hard to find parking at night. The parking lot had trash in it all the time. They back lot had old couches and chairs piled up (you could tell they were there for a long time) like they didn’t want to pay for a dumpster. Will never stay there Again.

This is a decent place to stay and has a pool. I normally stay here when visiting McKinney because the price Is right. It's a little older, and a bit run-down, but well maintained clean and comfortable.

10/10 they had food already in the room FOR FREE but it was in a strange bag and mostly eaten already but it's the thought that counts! I didn't have to remember my room key because when I would leave the door would either open by itself or I could just push it open! Bonus there was already a little blood on the walls so if I have my period it shouldn't be a problem! How tolerant.

Breakfast is yummy! The staff are wonderful. Each staff member has been very welcoming, as well as goes out of their way to make sure that you enjoy your stay. My room was clean. The AC works great! My job is nearly 20 mikes away, but I choose to stay here because I already know that the staff will ensure that I enjoy my stay.

We were there for a wedding. Very nice employees. Room was nice and clean. The pool was nice. And the breakfast was good. Not many stores near by. Would stay there again. Raj was very helpful and very nice.

Room send fine but the clerk too half an hour to check us in. Then my reserved king room had two beds. Oh well, I just need to sleep.

Terrible. DO NOT STAY AT THIS JUNK HOLE! There was a full list of terrible things about the quality inn but here is 5. 1. The room said no smoking, but you could tell the rooms were obviously all smoking. 2. Beer bottles and cigarettes lined the walkways and balconies. 3. The bed was not clean and/or made. The sheets were wrinkled and stained. 4. There were dents in the wall and paint scratched off in several locations. 5. Not clean at all. The floor, bed, tables, sofa, and chairs were all filthy. i do not recommend this.

This place needs to shut down and remodel or rebuild.

I feel it is only fair that I point out that I habe never stayed here myself. One of my co-workers does happen to live here though. I have brought her home many times. While a basic hotel out does have all the necessities. It is an old hotel and a little run down. I wouldn't normally give this place 3 stars. However, I know for a fact that they have worked with my co-worker several times when we were slow at work and she didn't make enough to cover rent. We are waitresses, and unfortunately not every day is a $100 day. While many of us live pay check to pay check she literally lives day to day. The hotel management is aware of this and work with her when she comes up short. Also, they are protective of her privacy. Management at work was trying to get her to come to work on her day off but didn't have the phone number for her room or her room number. The hotel management refused to give out the information. It is good to know they look out for her privacy and safety like that, particularly since she lives alone. It is my friends experience with management that lead me to rate this hotel 3 stars. Also, the pool area looks larger and much nicer than I thought it would.

NO Parking on Friday and Saturday nights because of loud honky tonk bar next door. Lights and TV did not work in the room, AC electrical cord taped, bathroom door had been kicked in, door would not deadbolt, and the water in the shower would not turn off. We arrived late the owner was a nice older man, so we stayed anyway… we should have kept driving and paid more somewhere else.

Location was good the room for the price good and good American breakfast.

Stayed here over 25 nights in a row, due to close proximity of parents' nursing home. NEVER AGAIN! This place should be closed down… Filthy common areas, helter-skelter housekeeping in the rooms, furniture in all three of mine was mostly stained and terribly worn, Wi-Fi often not connected to the internet, many of the very limited breakfast items often not available, washers/dryer out of service most days I was here, hookers and assorted 'sales' people trolling the property most nights, and the two male front desk clerks brush it all off in their barely understandable English. On very positive notes: the two female desk clerks are quite understandable and efficient; the pool was always sparkling. Too bad it is still a little chilly to use it.

Loud bar next door, loud party that carried on until 2 am in the event room (we were told it would end at 10:30), the grumpy receptionist at check in, the dirty room, the lack of parking, and the lack of motivation to discuss using my choices reward points all contribute to this rating. I won't be back, and I will vocalize my experience to friends and family if they decide to stay in the area.

Friendly staff. Everything works great. HD tv, Wi-Fi, micro fridge, comfy bed. Cold AC! clean private bathroom. Pet friendly. Very pleased.

Room dirty, bedding had stains, roaches in the trash can, remote to TV was broken, the bathtub faucets ran water all nite couldnt shut it off, it was bad I dont want to give them not even 1 star.

Outside may look a little seedy, but rooms inside are actually decent clean and bedding nice. I would definitely stay here again when on a budget because the value is worth it. It's off the highway with plenty of food choices within a 3-mile radius.

When we arrived the staff seemed very friendly. Although, when we arrived at our room we saw dried blood and white stains on top of the comforter. There was also pubic hair on the bath railing. When we went to get breakfast the next morning there was condom wrappers in the hallway by the lobby. Absolutely disgusting for my family to see. Wish there was a way to upload pictures.

We have stayed there many times but this last time it was terrible! The room smelled like urine and the carpets were stained. The bathroom had a fowl odor coming out. The bathroom walls were filthy with streaks like someone peed on the was. The bath tub was chipped and and poorly repaired the shower head only worked on 2 of the several settings and water would not even come out of some of the jets. There were no drain plugs in the sink it was just a straight bottomless hole so if you drop anything it’s gone forever. The bathroom light switch did not turn the light off no matter which way the switch was positioned. The beds were super hands and lumpy and really high in the air so if you are 5’6” and under be prepared to have to jump to get into them. My father was horrified that this was the room my mother and I were staying in and chose to move us to another hotel up the street. Because we chose to change hotels instead of taking a different room the hotel refused to refund the money for the 2 days we didn’t stay there. Do not deal with these people. They are liars (they told the booking company there was nothing wrong with the room) and will do anything to take your money. I would give them a negative 10 stars if I could. Bad business!

When booking online, the pictures are slightly misleading. I think they must have been taken years ago. I’ve stayed at Quality Inns before and they were pretty nice. I was expecting the same, but this one in McKinney is run down. I felt dirty inside the room. The carpet and walls are dingy. It’s right by a loud restaurant with music blaring at 11pm. The guard rail in the shower was coming off the wall and the shower head leaked. It may have been a good price, but I did not feel comfortable there at all. We checked out early the very next morning and went somewhere else.

The room are clean, breakfast is fresh. Have waffles, eggs, cereal, donuts, juices and of course coffee. They do have cable but do not have AMC, miss the first night of the Walking Dead.

How do I make a complaint. Paid for a room it was filthy and they refuse to refund me and I didn't even unpack.

Very loud bar next door. They had one young lady on staff. She was trying her best. It took 5 hours to get blankets or our Room. Very shaddy neighborhood. People are standing outside their doors all night long. We didnt feel safe. 1st night there 6 cops in the parking lot doing a Bust. After a night of NO SLEEP they moved our room the next night. My Prescriptions ended up missing. I have called over and over and over and over again and got nowhere. I have free flights. I'm flying back and Dallas to make a police report. The manager doesn't seem to care nor does the regional manager. I gave them a choice to make my prescriptions Appear or to credit my account. Neither have been done. So a police report is next.

We had an excellent stay. Very clean place nice room. Breakfast was delicious and the clerk was very nice and helpful. I will definitely be back.

They claim to have smoke free rooms, the 3 rooms they showed me someone had been smoking in them. I'm allergic to smoke, trust me, I know it when I smell it.

This is one of the worst places I've stayed at. The rooms are not that clean. I found razor blades and a needle behind the nightstand. The staff is rude and have no communication skills. The manager should not be a manager and probably only got the job because he is related to the owner. We are currently sitting in a dark, hot room and have been for about 10 hours. They have no clue what's going on and when it will be fixed. All my food in the fridge is how bad. There is also no hot water. When I asked what they can do to rectify the situation they were rude and said there is nothing they will do. The manager hasn't even come to the property to see what's going on. They should at least comp us a night for all the BS but they said no. We would go somewhere else but we paid for the week and it takes a while to get a refund.

The hotel itself is not really that cheap but it's not really that expensive either in the rooms are very nice it feels really homie I had no problems at all it's very quiet and it's just as nice of her I really enjoyed my stay here.

The rooms were okay. The hotel seemed a bit older, but it was clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had pets and that was no problem. The breakfast was good and the dining area was very clean. Overall, rooms were okay, but the staff and breakfast were great!

The hotel was ok. The room was a little bit dirty and the staff wasn't all too pleasant but nothing was absolutely terrible but the rates are pretty low. I would stay here again as long as the rates don't go up.

For $90, I've stayed in much better motels. The room grossed me out, and I ended up refusing to stay. There was gum and a dry white stain on the couch, among others, and an unbelievable amount of cigarette burns. Cobwebs in the corners, a crack/hole in the wall in the bathroom. The lady at the front was nice, and I was refunded most of my money. I guess I should've known better when I pulled up to the building and saw what it looked like. But I thought you weren't supposed to judge a book by its cover. Sure, it could've been worse, but this place was definitely a hard "pass" for me.

It is just the most crap place for what it's named you can open some doors with out key cards smells like a smoking bar no matter what room just avoid unless you just need to sleep or haven't slept in 24 hours.

Nice clerks at front desk, motel was clean and close to plenty of eating places.

Rooms are great for what you pay. They are clean, set up nice and have all you need for a short weekend stay. They also have acceptable customer service. This place seemed to be a hit for contract workers so their parking lot can be packed. My husband and I had a weekend conference, he is recovering surgery and on crutches, and I'm pregnant, they aloud us use of a hadicap space due to the weather and distance we would have to walk to get to our room other wise. I felt like that was such a grand gesture and really made our stay great. This is a great hotel.

Clean rooms and the price was fair. Microwave and fridge in room. The bed was comfortable too. I've stayed at other Quality Inns and this one was one of the best. Only thing I didn't like was $25 per dog per stay. A little steep for me when La Quinta charges nothing.

This place is just fine for the price. We had no issues at all, the room was clean and didn't smell like smoke. Staff was equally pleasant to deal with.

Nightmare! my first room had no electricity with the exception of a lamp and one outlet. I called the front desk and was refused a refund of another room and was told top Yale out up with the front desk in the morning which I did. I could not believe how unprofessional this manager was. This manager Vanessa had the worst attitude ever! eye rolls, cutting me off, the whole bit. She moved me to a"non smoking room". It was nauseating with a heavy smoke smell and attempted to mask the smell with an unbelievable amount of cleaner, not to mention cigarette burns in the carpet and perfect burn hole from a clothing iron. I asked to be moved and was told there were no rooms available. When I told her of the smell I kid you not the response was "well yea I know it smells, its a smoking room but there's nothing I can to about that, we're sold out". Still no refund! Turns out there were plenty of rooms available but they still wouldn't move me because the rooms available were two beds instead of a king bed and would have required them to "upgrade" me. Still refused to move me or refund the remainder of my stay. While I was stuck there I used the computer in the lobby they have for guests. While sitting there I witnessed several complaints made to the front desk, mostly about bugs crawling in under the door of their rooms. It was unbelievable to watch this manager argue with unhappy customers. Too high prices to deal with too many problems!

What a crap-hole. Received a "welcome bag" at arrivel: water bottle, two mints, a 2-pack of "advanced nose strips" and a small bag of peanuts. Walked into the room, all I smell is smoke (in a non-smoking room). Unpacked clothes, walked into the bathroom… wait for it, no shower curtain. Not only that, no rings on the shower curtain rod to *hang* a shower curtain. Shower has black streaks, like tire skid marks in the bottom of the tub/shower. Grout lines at the bottom of the wall have mold/mildew that could have easily been scrubbed out by the cleaning crews. The punch line, the rooms on the north side of the motel are within 50 yards of "Hank's" something or other, that has LIVE music OUTSIDE until midnight every night. Joy. Good luck sleeping before midnight. I travel a lot, usually staying in Hilton/Hyatt/Marriott properties. I didn't expect much, but this place is worth possibly $20/night. I had little choice as I was visiting family in the area and didn't want to stay too far away… get serious, this place is crap. Holiday Inn in McKinney? Anything else?
