I was bit 6 times by a spider sleeping here! I called when I realized they were not ant bites and tried to figure out a refund or whatever they procedure was for unsatisfied customers and he just hung up in my face and ignored my calls. Picked up and just let the phone sit there! Room 224! Towels have yellow stains in them! Worst place to stay!

Found a bed bug after being in the room for an hour. Air conditioning didn't work, lots of people hanging around out front though they didn't see to be bothering anyone, just congregating outside the property. Manager seemed nice, but finding a bedbug made us leave right away. We were able to get a refund when we showed them the bug.

Great rooms, always very clean and neat. The only issue I have in every stay is that they knock on your door at 9 a. M when checkout is until 11! Then they try to open the door even if they know someone is still there. The area is kind of scary at night, truck drivers parked everywhere, women getting in and out of different cars, people walking around asking for money. They don’t mess with you, but for someone that is not used to all of this, its not the place for you. Prices are good, you get a lot of space, but customer could be a bit more friendly and welcoming.

My stay home was so BAD. This is hotel is a drug and prostitute area of Desoto Texas. You need a Gun at all time. I was scared to go to the store because it is so BAD. The Hotel is nice to it smells so bad. Our room smells like old trash. The refrigerator didn't work. The air didn't work. The owner was very ruled about us get our money but. Never again will I every stay here… very very nice. It wouldn't like me give them NO STARS.

The manager was very nice. My room was nice. Oh an there was a coffee maker an shampoo. He has security an the people wondering around is at the store. Ii was a Friday night an I slept great.

Room comfortable. Odor free. No bugs. Bad people all around property. Not a safe area. Very low budget. Lots of drug dealers and prostitute. Had these bad people knocking on my door. Will never stay here again.

Drug Dealers and prostitutes out front by the street. The room was comfortable. The water pressure was crappy. There wasn't any coffee in my room to make in the morning. The man up front was nice enough. For what I paid I give it a 2 out of 5. Rough part a town js.

Is not bad for the price. They have a few semi truck parking spots. Fenced around property, feels more secure.

Stay away unless… you're looking for drugs or prostitutes (we couldn't park without solicitation). The sheets were not very clean. The door looked kicked in at some point and when I asked about the safety, I was told the door has been this way for 7 years. Last, this motel does not partcipate under Choice hotel brand.

Save the stress, sleep in your car. They gave my handicap room away, said I should have called to verify I needed it. Non smoking room smelled of smoke. Old trash left from previous guests. Shower no pressure, toilet handle broken. Street noise can be heard. When addressed the front desk I was told I had a choice to stay or not to stay, so it wasn't his issue.

Don't even deserve 1 star. Never ever see a maid anywhere to be found. Rooms only get two towels no wash cloths. Our trailer got broken into and our toolbox and clothes got stolen. Hotel management won't do anything about it. Just told us if we catch them, kill em and they will pay for funeral…? Unbelievable. Crackheads all over the property selling drugs and other stollen items to truckers and anyone else who stops at the hotel or gas station next to this hotel. I do not recommend anyone to stay here. What I do recommend is that the cops step in and do there job. Shut this place down!

A basic inexpensive place to stay if you're on a budget. Do not expect anything more.

The worse service that could possibly be provided. There was hookers and drug dealers knocking at late night. The room was extremely dirty. Strange sounds could be heard throughout the night. Laying on the bed I don't want to imagine how old the box spring was.

The most disgusting room I've ever been in, seriously seems like it was last remodeled in the mid 80's. Stains on the chairs, sofa and bed mattress. The a/c doesn't work well enough so we are sleeping with the refrigerator open. Has about one electrical outlet in the whole room. Room has a funny smell, and the office staff was so rude. People hanging around outside makes the neighborhood feel unsafe. Never again. And after I've skimmed through all the reviews, the only good reviews are from "anonymous" people, how ironic is that. And I read that they have a bug problem, oh goodness for the receptionist sake I better not see one. Holes in the sheets, bed mattress is full of urine (I suppose) and blood stains. Housekeeping is absolutely horrible. The employees here should be ashamed of the business they provide here.

Air condition went out at 3:30 am … a called the front desk at 4:30 am and they would not move me rooms and said that the air condition worked fine … I asked them to come see for themselves and they refused. Rooms were dated but this would not have bothered me had I been able to sleep … it is currently 5:02 am and I am on the bug infested couch trying to get closer to the 80 degree " air condition" as opposed to the 90 degree bed … very disappointed.

The air conditioning didn't work, the ice machine didn't have ice, and the only coffee was decaffeinated coffee. In Texas the air must work and the morning manager didn't seem to care much about my feelings at all and I've been there many times before in 2016. Yes I did call down to the office and no one answered, we did come in late but I expected just a little understanding after sweating all night, jacqueline small… gbsu.

Horribleeee this motel a lot cigarette. They say no smoking and it is lie the carpet is seen that the cleaner does not clean. The mrs from desk speak a lot by phone and no attends the public. In the surroundings many homeless with bad smells. The pool closed and with trash inside the water. For rent a nigth it was sufficient I would not feel quiet. The bath soap very bad not smooth good and the shampoo very small and put one only I do not recommend this place for nobody the cost on the internet say $ 65.00 the nigth. And is lie my husband was charge $ 85.00. And TV room is very old.

The Management was very Professional. And had a pleasant stay! Breakfast was fresh, and will be returning when in the area!

Room was not up to standard for rate of the room. … smoke smell in non smoking room. No light fixtures. Open wires coming out walls… no morning breakfast. Homeless person lying in front entry of door… left something in room and it was not reported by cleaning service. … did not enjoy stay at all. … staff very unprofessional!

Stayed the weekend at this Hotel. Very reasonable price. Room was clean and well kept. Only needed the room for sleeping and I slept great. Hotel is right off the Interstate. I wouldn't have my kids staying here tho because the hotel is behind a truck stop. Had alot of undesirables hanging around. All in all, no complaints about my stay.

Economy Lodge was quiet, clean, and servicce desk personnel very friendly. Breakfast wasn't fancy but entirely adequate. (Eggs, waffles, sausage, cereal). Room included king size bed and had a refrigerator not included with many other budget hotels. Easy access to freeway without being next to it. Great value for the price.

Please Read Before Stopping! Where should I start? First, the neighborhood SCARY, 5 young black men banging on my door for over 10 minutes at 342 a. M. "come on man open up, come on man". I was terrified. The pool is here, running, gated, closed, and the fence is surrounded by garbage, I asked the manager why the pool was closed, his response was that the city told him that they had to do some work on it and they had to come back and check it. Awesome! It is 97 degrees here in Dallas, no pool GREAT! Ok, let's talk about "free breakfast", old, stale frosted flakes, packets of oatmeal, juice machine with 3 choices, ALL EMPTY! Had to stay 3 days (18 wheeler broke down and in the kenworth dealership so no transportation). Our room card was turned off at 9a. M. When checkout was 11 a. M. Was going to have dinner delivered, the restaurant said that they did not deliver here because management gave them such a hard time numerous times about being on their property. Well great, just found out we are trapped here for 1 more day, the truck still isn't ready. Yeah!

Room 212 were I stayed it was ok for the money. Bathroom need little attention, The courtain shower looks like it will fall off any time, the shower head was old and looks bad and leaks. But the Internet is super slow. But again what for the 56.46 I spent was ok. I will come back for a one night sleep over. The Gentleman and the front desk was very nice and attentive. I think is the owner.

The Staff was Friendly & Helpful. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable at a sweet rate.

First room smelled of smoke despite getting a nonsmoking room. Second room had wiffs of smoke come through a/c every 30min or so. Wifi was slow and unusable.

Was one of the worse nights I have had. First the AC was heat. Yep no flipped air. At 3am I was having to call to get front desk to do something. Well no more rooms available, so I had to open our door to cool the room. Then no hot water to shower this morning after being up all night. I'm fN mad.

Horrible horrible service! We stayed in room 107 there and there was several things that was off about the room we were in, first off the doorknob on the door was very lose and we were afraid that someone could break in on us, and we have asked the staff to place us in a better room and they told us NO. So we felt very unsafe staying there for the night because we are not from Dallas and we don't know what people are like there. And then the air conditioner knob was broken so we couldn't switch the knob to the appropriate temperature we wanted and then as I was going to pick up the remote there was SEVERAL ROACHES by the remote! And not to mention the towels we were given it had some type of pet hair on them and when we asked the staff to give us cleaner towels they refused and put up a fight with us but I guess you get what you pay for… So yeah these motels are VERY unsanitary and unsafe so don't waste your money staying there!

The hotel was a good value for the money. The bed was comfortable and the bathtub was deep enough to take a morning bath. It was quite cheap relatively and it was clean.

I wish I spent more time in the room! I had a King No Smoking room, and when I opened the door it was nice. The bed was so inviting and the room had a nice scent (freshener). The cable, fridge, iron, lamps, toilet, etc. All worked fine. I didn't use the microwave, but it was clean. The front desk clerk was nice and very helpful. I was impressed not because of the hotel chain but the area it was located. Good Job!

Was a very quiet hotel. Didn't have any issues at all. We checked out before breakfast, so I cant comment on that respectfully.

We just got here and I see nothing wrong with it. They do have a coffee maker. The bed is comfortable and they even had the room air conditioning on for us. This is a great room for the price.
