I came to Dallas for business for a 2 day visit and spent the night at Bailey's. From the beginning of the process, Angela (one of the inn's proprietor's) was extremely friendly and helpful. They allowed me to do an early check-in and late checkout (pending the room availability) and this really helped me with my meeting schedule. The inn itself is located on Worthington, right off McKinney Ave which I discovered is one of the main streets in uptown Dallas. If you don't have a car you can walk to any number of great restaurants and other services nearby (like a UPS store and Walgreen's both of which was really useful). The inn is beautiful, clean, well kept and Angela has a lot of information handy either in pamphlet form or herself. I stayed in the black and white room which was very comfortable and quiet. All my meetings were nearby luckily, so nothing was more than a 10 minute drive away, which also speaks to the convenience of the location. Lastly, the place was a great deal. Really affordable and well worth the price. Stay here if you come to Dallas.

The Birthday Babes (6 women who celebrate each others birthdays) spent a wonderful day and night at Bailey's Uptown Inn. We really appreciated having a rare parking spot in Uptown. It was raining the weekend we came, but our hostesses were very accommodating, allowing us to stay and visit inside even after check out time. We didn't have to drive anywhere. There was entertainment and dining all around us. The rooms were very large and beautiful, each unique. All the amenities of a larger, chain were there, but we got to use the living room and kitchen during the evening and the wee hours of the morning.

Nice for Downtown Dallas B&B; Service was great and while the house was pretty full during out stay it was quiet. The location was great, my husband and I spent the entire day out walking and riding the trolly (although it was hot! — but that's just Texas). We did try to park, but as the house was full the covered garage was very tight-so we got a parking pass for the street around the corner. I'd say the ONLY downfall was the TV in the bedroom (we stayed in the blue room). While we don't go to a B&B to watch TV, ours was 14 inch tube TV and no matter the channel it had that old 'skip' throughout the screen. We just expected the TV to be a little more up to date — buying a new flat screen for $150 would be a much better option for those who go for a romantic evening out to dinner and a stay in movie :-).

The most adorable B&B. My boyfriend and I stayed at Bailey's (we found a Groupon-which included a bottle of wine and chocolates, too) while looking for apartments in Dallas. We are both from Iowa and just crossed our fingers Bailey's would be nice and in a good area. We got waaay lucky. Bailey's in a perfect location, near lots of restaurants, bars, the rail car, and a good view of downtown. Also, the inn itself is gorgeous. Beautifully decorated and very homey. We stayed in the Red Room which was perfect (and I may or may not have peeked into the Green and Gold room-which were also very cute). We had a parking spot in a covered garage and had access to a code-locked door. While staying at the inn we walked to the Uptown Bar and Grill, Crooked Tree Coffeehouse, Si Tapas and were a short drive from lots of shops and other restaurants. I highly recommend staying at Bailey's if you are looking in this area.
