Staff was very friendly and accomodating, rooms were clean, and price was relevant to our needs.

Conveniently located, near shopping and many dining options. Staff very friendly. Room very comfortable, perfect little kitchen with stove top and oven too.

DO NOT STAY HERE! My girlfriend’s son’s track team made reservations at the Townsuits Marriott in College Station TX at the beginning of July. All the way up until her trip, the hotel was sending her reminders about her stay and how they are excited about her upcoming stay and not once mention to her about her credit card not been on file. Check in time was at 4pm and she arrived at 5pm on July 27 just to find out that her room was canceled and that they had given her room away and didn’t have any available rooms left. The general manager didn’t even try to help her find another room at another Marriott… and she is an Awards Member. All they could say was there is nothing we could do. She said that she even mentioned to them that I had just driven 3 hours to get there and they still didn’t care. 3 other parents from the track team had the same thing happen to them.

I stay at Marriott hotels all the time (55th night this year). This one is by far the worst I have ever been to. I am working out of town and had been working 14hrs when I got back to the hotel at 6pm. The door knob to my room was malfunctioning and I couldn’t get in. It took 2hrs for maintenance to get the door knob changed out. I finally get into the room at 8pm and at 8:30pm I hear someone working on the window outside. I assume they used the window to enter the room. Doesn’t seem very secure to me. This is when I decide I am going to check out of the hotel and go some place different for the night. I go to the front desk to check out and the woman working charged me for the entire night even though I had spent a total of maybe 40 minutes in the room all day. She said there was nothing she could do about it since it was after 4pm and that the door being broken was out of her control.

Very cute suites perfect for our needs at a softball tournament. Allowed us to eat in a little bit. The fold out couch wasn’t as uncomfortable as most. Staff was wonderful. And what earns the five stars is the staff at breakfast. With so many athletes and their families, the breakfast area stayed busy and food nearly wiped out. They worked extremely hard to stay stocked and did a great job. They were friendly and cordial throughout the chaos as well. A job well done.

It's a Marriott. What else can you say. They set the standard.

My only complaint is the beds weren’t made, there were no towels put in the bathroom after our first night.

The location is only a few minutes from A&M campus. The suite was nice but there was a very loud buzz that made noose all night and preventing me from getting good rest. Other than that the experience was alright.

This was the best stay I’ve had in years. The staff was very friendly, the room clean and breakfast was great. I will definitely stay here again.

We got upgraded, it was awesome three tv's in one hotel omg this place is great.

I have stayed here before and am pleased with this hotel. The location is great & the rooms have been very nice. My only complaints are that the hallways seem a bit dark & gloomy, giving off an eerie vibe. The other is that the parking situation leaves something to be desired. Neither of these are serious problems though. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff was amazing at check in, room was clean. Only flaw was a dirty diaper smell when we walked in. Overall great stay.

We stayed in a suite with 2 queen bedrooms and a small living area with a pullout bed. My husband and I and our 4 young kids slept well there. There was also a small kitchenette. We did have trouble with a clogged toilet. Breakfast was adequate but not great. The dining area is tiny (seats 8-10 people total, I think). But we could take food up to our rooms.

Got a 2 room suite for my family of 6. There was plenty of room for everyone and we had a great stay. Breakfast was tasty and had a great selection.

Was here one night for work — in terms of the hotel, it's a typical towneplace marriott so I won't comment on the brand. However, the staff at this particular hotel knocked it out of the park. The young woman (really wish I could remember the name, it was something distinct) who greeted me during the evening when I arrived was quite possibly the nicest and most helpful front desk person I've ever talked to. A++. Later, I somehow accidentally left my work computer there, and they were nice enough to call me and let me know. You would expect that to be standard, but based on past experience I'm lucky to have gotten it back at all. The manager was very friendly and funny as well, we went back and forth with jokes and small talk as she was getting the computer back for me. I almost never make small talk. I found out the girl from the evening was her daughter or grand daughter, something like that? Seems like a wonderful family. I can't say I'd like to go back to college station, but if I do, I'll definitely stay here.

The rooms here are very nice. The bed is comfy and there is a full kitchen. There is also a TV and living room. The hotel is in a great location. It is close to the Texas A & M campus, food and shopping.

This hotel was quite exquisite. It feels like home away from home. The water was cold in the shower at the warmest setting but other than that it was great!

Staff was great during our stay! It's an older hotel but you can tell they work hard to keep it in good condition. Would give it five stars if it weren't for their "fitness center". They only have one treadmill, one bike, one other machine, and one exercise ball crammed into the tiniest room ever. Would stay again. *thumb up.

I enjoyed a relaxing evening with my children the night before a court appointment. Paula at the front desk was extremely helpful and the breakfast was excellent. I'd recommend this location for families, couples, extended stays as well as impromptu lodging needs.

Originally planned for 3 stars since it's one of those hotels that has multiple buildings and makes everything more complicated/harder than it has to be, but the staff made me add a star. Great customer service/felt like they were real people instead of robots that have a scripted answer for everything. Very refreshing.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well laid out with all the amenities including a few extra little surprises. All in all a great stay.

Was really great. Loved the refrigerator, stove, sink… super cute kitchenette there. Good water pressure in the shower. Room was clean and didn't smell odd. Breakfast was good and staff attentive and friendly. Would return.

The hotel is in need of an update. Everything is a bit on the shabby side but it is clean. The staff have been very nice. The one bedroom suite has a lot of space. The breakfast was very basic. Overall am ok stay. It is located very near A&M and it's reasonably priced.

This hotel is very nice. It's easy to access, right off the highway. There are plenty of restaurants around for a dinner out. The woman at the counter was very helpful. The establishment is clean, quiet and secure.

The ladies at the front desk were so sweet and welcoming. They gave us two complimentary drinks after we checked in. The rooms are awesome. So clean and spacious. The room included a full kitchen. One of the best hotels I've stayed in thus far. Definitely recommend staying here.

They had free pudding sitting out downstairs.

The staff I met were very, very kind and understanding. The first night, some men in the room next door were cursing loudly, and another room at that end of the hallway was playing music loudly. My mom and I changed rooms immediately and the woman at the desk was so nice; it was no hassle at all to change rooms. She greeted and had short conversations with us that made the stay much nicer. Even though the staff was very kind, I can't say the quality of the hotel itself was great. Someone had left soap in the toilet so it was clogged, and there was also a broken prong of a plug stuck in the bathroom outlet (which scratched my mom's arm). Dinner (hamburgers and chips) was okay, but we weren't expecting much anyways. However, breakfast was terrible and the worst I've had at any hotel. We were planning on staying there for three nights, but we left a night early for home because it felt depressing to stay here. This hotel would be a three star, but if you're planning on staying here for more than one night, I would look for an alternative.

After reading reviews the night before I left for College Station, I was very leery about staying here. However, kept the reservation and glad we did. True, this is not a Marriott Resort but I found it to be very clean and the staff very nice and friendly. I do recommend the Towne Place Suites, if you need a reasonable place to stay and convenient to any where you want to go. A+ to the staff!
