Stayed with a friend, and service was not the best. Front lady seemed to be judging me and my friend, and was very unhelpful after my card was rejected. Finally got enough cash together to pay for the room, and was able to stay a few nights. Ordered pizza and the next day we had to throw half of it out because we found a lot of bugs and roaches. If you want a cheap but good hotel, go to Super 8. Don't do motel 6.

Great central location. Linda at the front desk was cheerful and just wonderful to interact with. The room was nice and clean aside for some paint splatter on the floors from what I assume was a recent room refurbishment. Great value for the money spent. Would have liked to have had an ice bucket but that's minor stuff. We enjoyed our room and and stay at the hotel.

The location is perfect for where we needed to go. Everything was at a short driving distance and the room was really comfortable. We arrived, took a quick shower and went to bed. Comfortable bed for my pregnant stomach and the pool looked very inviting.

Staff was friendly and Courteous. Very Hardworking guy! After I checked in, grab the key and went to my room, The AC was Broken. It was about 90+ degrees outside. Called the front desk, he came out, check it out and moved me into another room. Perfect! The next room was ok for the monst part. I counted 7 what looked like beetles crawling on the floor. I had to put my shoes and things on the night stand and table area.

I stay in motels/hotels on a weekly basic due to traveling for work a lot. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The mattresses felt like they were picked up from a goodwill store and the door between our room and the suite next door was so thin and had such a big gap around the edge that you could hear every little noise from the guests next door. When ever some one in one of the adjoining rooms used they water is sounded like a raging waterfall. I normally stay in the La Quinta there in college station but this was closer. Your establishment was more expensive and dirty. The AC was very poor and the room was dirty. I have stayed in many Motel 6s in the past and this one should have your name removed. It felt more like what I would imagine a pay by the hour place would. Please tell Tom not to leave the light on for us as that was the worst stay I have ever had.

I really like the location, cause, it is very closed to Texas A&M University which it is my destination. This time I was sad because the room was not to clean as I expected and I think that Motel 6 has to be a better maintenance because it is a good option for lots of parents that we want to be there for the weekend. Also will be good to get some promotions like the others hotels have in the area. I love Motel 6 and I have great expectations!

Well, the front desk clerk was very accommodating. I had reserved two rooms and my wife and I went to our room first and the smell of pet urine hit us in the face as soon as we entered the room. I called the front desk and explained what happened and the clerk located room on the ground floor that was perfect. She turned a terrible stay into a very good one just by willingly accepting responsibility and assigning us a new room. I certainly hope that someone looks into room 220 to get rid of that smell. It was disappointing that someone actually inspected that room and allowed it to get rented out. Shame on that person.

Clean rooms. And the staff is awesome. And that are pet friendly.

Bang for the buck. Room was clean, bed comfortable, TV had good channel selection. Location is very good close to everything. Unfortunate that lots of guests are very noisy and like to hang out outside their rooms.

Front desk personnel were very cordial and helpful. Unfortunately, the AC/Heating Unit was not operational. I did not need either one and upon checkout I informed the front desk so that it could be inspected. Towels were available, however could have used additional soap for washing hands. Only had one bar of soap for the sink and the shower. There were two adults in the room. It had double beds. Additionally, would be nice to have tissues available.

NO HOT WATER! I do not need much but I consider a hot shower to be one of the minimal basics. The location is great. The staff was good. Supposedly one of the boilers failed so no hot water first night. The staff at the front desk said it would be fixed the next day. We did have hot water during the next day, but that evening again no hot water. Not good at all!

Not too bad for a last minute selection. It was affordable and the room was clean overall. Was some what disappointed that Wi-Fi was not complimentary. You had a choice between $2.99 per day for basic service or $4.99 per day for premium service. I paid for the WiFI premium service simply because I need to get work done. Also know that if you do pay for the Wi-Fi, you are limited to only one device.

Great location. All your shopping needs just around the corner. Cheap price, Clean rooms. Great service. Can't go wrong with motel 6.

Very nice and clean hotel. Right in the middle of town close to everything. Very convenient and the nicest staff. Most quiet, peaceful hotel I've ever stayed in. Highly recommend it.

The location is fine. Close to the college campus and restaurants. The Wi-Fi wasn't free. Had to pay $3.99 for a 1 night code. Didn't really like that. Lock on the door was kind of messed up. Hard to open and close the door. Person at the front desk wasn't friendly at all. But it was cheap.

People at the desk were great, room was very clean and pretty quiet. Knocked off one star for the bed…

The room was clean but worn. There were cigarette burn marks on the bed spread in a non-smoking room. The location was good for our purpose.

I really enjoyed my stay in College Station while visiting relatives. My room was extremely clean and all of the things that I needed were available. This was my second stay at this Motel 6 and your employee, Linda, at the front desk, was always ready to answer and help with any of my concerns. I will continue to stay at this location every time I'm in town.

Nice updated rooms. Bed spreads still need work. I wash sheets before sleeping in bed.

The room smelled heavily of smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. ALl my clothes smelled of smoke, even after checking out. The room was clean however. THe card reader did not work and took three different key resets to get it open.

We have stayed here before with no problems, this time was different. We checked in no problem, dropped our luggage off and left. When we returned later we notice things about the room. The bathroom sink had hair on it around the faucet (looked like hair from shaving) faucet was dirty, hair in the tub, trash in the trash can by sink and the same looking hair on the bed. By time we noticed this it was too late to notify housekeeping. I should have called the front desk and had them re-clean the room. The card left in the room from housekeeping was dated 9/12, apparently the last time it was cleaned. We feel like the room had been used and not re-cleaned. The thermostat was set on 67. I told the guy at the front desk about it when we checked out but he was clueless. So my answers are based on this visit.

I absolutely love the staff! From the time I check in to check out, everyone is extremely friendly. They treat my dogs like family, and I'll continue to visit in the future. The room is very clean and I enjoy the quantity of towels offered in the room! Thank you! ps. The pillows are better than I have at home.

Stayed here one night while Hurricane Harvey was ravishing Houston. Needed a place to stay while waiting for the water to recede in the Houston area. Super nice folks at the front desk that totally understood the situation that I was dealing with. Comfortable room, nice bed, hot shower. Close to lots of different restaurants to grab something to eat. My only complaint was that I didn't know how to pay for the Wi-Fi to use, but I could have went to the front desk and inquired but I was just too tired! Thanks for keeping me safe and giving me shelter for the night!

The motel had a very nice service at the front desk, which could offer me a room without booking in advance. The room was in perfect clean condition, only the first room had a faulty smoke detector, which gave a loud signal tone every minute, which meant I had to change my room, therefore only 4 points. Otherwise, the service was perfect.

The motel is actually not bad, it's definitely livable. I stayed here for 2 weeks and a day. I would have stayed longer but the manager took a reservation for a much higher day rate than I was paying. He was very rude, not just on the occasion of telling me I couldn't keep the room, but also when I renewed for week 2. He spoke as if customers are a bother to him and not as intelligent. Also, he told me that because I was paying weekly that my room would only be cleaned once a week. He did me a favor though, I went 1 block away and for the same price got a much nicer room with pleasant atmosphere. Also I paid extra for the Microsoft and refrigerator and it didn't work. 4 days later got one that worked — and no apology nor rebate.

Disgusting room filled with smoke, stains on the beds, and cigarettes on the window sills. Absolutely dishonest management that overcharged us. Booked non-smoking room but was placed into smoking room. Management refused to move us to a non-smoking room. Asked if the room could be cleaned but was told there was no housekeeping on duty at 6pm. Stayed one of the three nights originally booked out of necessity because all other hotels were full. Management said they would refund me for the two night we did not stay after checking out after the first night, but instead was charged for all three nights. Beds were covered in cigarette burns and stains, room reeked of smoking odor, and cigarette butts were on the floor an window sill. Even after showing management the photos we took of the filthy room, she insisted it was a non-smoking room in her system. Not labeled as a non-smoking room as the other non-smoking rooms were. More than two weeks later and I'm still trying to be refunded for being overcharged.

Lots of roaches and other bugs. We had the room booked for 1 week and they failed to mention that it would be 3 days before any housework would be done. Including our trash taken out or any clean towels. It was not a comfortable stay, and we ended up leaving after 2 nights. It could be do-able for one night (if you're short on cash. )

Bathroom was locked when we got the room and they gave us a paperclip to open in before they sent someone to actually get it open. It would have been more professional to just let us know it would be a while before maintenence could fix it.

Wi-Fi signal was quite weak, but when I finally connected I was prompted with a pay per day requirement. Never would have expected to pay extra for Wi-Fi in a lower branded property. The beds are basically sheets of plywood on springs. On the bright side the room was clean and the staff was nice. I would definitely look for a different property next time I have to stay in college station.

Arrived later last night. Checked in. Went to my room & just laid on the bed catching up on messages on my phone was there for maybe 20-25 mins when I notice something movinh on the bed, I took a closer look & it was a bug. A small roach shaped bug. I jumped up & was going to squash it and I did. But then I notice another and another. So, I pulled down the covers and flip my pillow over and there were more. I started swiping them off onto the floor. I went to squash the one on my pillow case; bad idea because it popped & left little splatters of blood on the pillow case. Roaches don't pop blood. I packed up my phone & belongings & went to the front desk to inform them. She was really nice, and I explained what happened & showed her pics I took with my phone. She apoligized and offered to put me in another room. I was reluctant but it was late & I didnt want to hunt down another place to stay. So she moved me from 205. I get into the new room & examined the bed and there was another bug on the side of the bed & I squished it with my boot. I didn't find any more & it didn't look like the same kind of bug. I was tired & decided to stay but I slept on top of the covers & not very well. Other than that the rooms they give out to travelers seem pretty clean. But I think they have residents; also, not a good sign. The lady said she would give me a room with fridge & microwave (which I wouldnt use) for no additional cost.

Motel MOSTLY clean. Internet said had Wi-Fi and Pics showed fridge and microwave. Wi-Fi was down. There was no fridge or microwave. I believe that this hotel does not meet hotel 6 claims or standards.

Was clean. Mattresses were OK, blankets were OK. The only thing that I wish they would have would be free Wi-Fi and toiletries. It's ok, it's Motel 6.

I was very surprised at how really nice and clean my room was and the staff where very friendly and helpful. The bed was so very comfortable and the AC worked great. I will Book here again. Thanks for the great night stay.

The location is great, the rooms are clean, and the service is exceptional. We stay there 5-6 times a year and we always have a great experience.

They charge $3 per day per device to use the Wi-Fi. Need me say more.

It's a two star motel, but it's clean, the a/c is cold, and the staff tries hard to make the place clean and comfortable. Modern rooms with bamboo floors.

This place has a lot of color to it since it was recently renovated. I had a nice stay overall. The staff is very friendly and you can't beat the low prices.

Room appeared to be clean. Had an issue with toilet but was quickly fixed. Shower was dirty. We spotted quite a few roaches in the room. Property is in a good location. I wouldn't stay here again.
