It was decent for the price. I felt safe as a woman traveling alone. Never heard anyone running the halls. Heck, it was so quiet it gave me the impression I was the only one lodging there for the night. Young lady at front desk next morning was not polite. She didn't even greet me after I turned in my room key. Overall the experience was pleasant for the price. All I came to do was to shower, relax and get sleep. The room served it's purpose.

It's a nice place to stay and gets the job done at a non luxurious, and affordable cost. Pool isn't the largest but is suitable for swimming and having a fun time. Bedrooms are tidy and cozy as well as hospitable for a night's stay. Definitely recommend this motel for anyone looking forward to going to the heart of Texas on a lower budget. Overall it's quite a nice experience.

Very bad place to stay at. The room was filthy when they gave it to me. The bed sheets where all full of hair and lipstick. The backboard was full of fingerprints and footprints also. The side stands where all dirty of God knows what. Room is supposed to be non-smoking and stinks like cigarettes. I found small roaches on both rooms and I have pics to proof it. The only reason I gave it two stars is because they did change me to a cleaner room but white sheets are all stained. Regret staying here.

The room had a very modern look. It was comfortable and clean which is all we needed as we were just passing through. I had to wait in a tiny room for about 20 minutes until a worker finally came by to check us in at the night check-in desk but besides that our stay was just as expected for the rate we paid.

Good place to stay of emergency.

I've stayed at the Motel 6 San Antonio downtown Alamo Dome at least 10 times within the past 6 months because I frequently visit the city. Nearly everytime I check-in there's an elderly man with dentures that appears to be about 60-65 that is very impersonal towards me when he checks me in although he has seen me before he never greets me by referring to me by my name or even just stating "good to see again, welcome back to motel 6. He always instructs me in an authoritative tone to return the luggage cart to the front lobby as though I will steal it. I've always returned the luggage cart to the front lobby each time I've used it and I don't appreciate being badgered like a high school student late for class or roaming the halls without a hall pass. The bed foundation didn't have a box spring and the mattress sat on top of a wooden box on a carpet-less floor which slid when I sat my back on the headboard. The mattress slid nearly off the bed foundation to the floor as I tried to sit upright to surf the web on my laptop and watch TV. The room smelled of cigarette smoke although cigarette smoking is prohibited inside the entire motel. The bathroom faucet water pressure was extremely low, I had to use bottle water to wash my hands and brush my teeth.

The room was a non smoking but you could barely breath since the cigarette smell was so strong. The toilet had not be cleaned. The sheets were stained. The floor had not been swept. It was hard to sleep with all the noise in the hallway from other guests.

When we checked in with my in-laws Sunday night the man at the desk was beyond rude to where we felt unwelcome. Other than that enjoyed our stay, outr room was neat and clean no complaints there. When we checked out we gave our concerns to the sweet girl at the front desk. She was very apologetic and because of that we will return in may. The night clerk should not be working there.

First off front desk clerk was sarcastic and rude. His attitude presumed as if I couldn't afford the room. Once I got into the room problems seem to stand out automatically outlet didn't want to seem to work, vent in the restroom was dusty and sounded as if it's been there 30+years, burn marks in one of the blankets, shower was a bit dirty as if hadn't been really cleaned in a good while not to mention the shower head is bad. Air vents to a. C were dirty and dusty. T. V's seem to be a problem on its own. The gap under your door is extremely big. I had a non-smoking room and you can smell cigarettes in the room and hallways. People roaming the halls at night. My kids didn't feel safe and had trouble sleeping. I spent well over what they had to offer and what was offered wasn't anything close to a fair experience. Don't waste time nor money here.

We got moved to another room because the TV had red and black lines. Could not see any picture. When I called, he said he would in 15-20 minutes. He finally went an hour afterwards because I called again. He moved us to another room. My white socks were off black because the floor was dirty. They need to sweep the floors. When I was taking a shower, I found long black hairs, which were not mine. Other than that, I've always enjoyed staying there.

I'm a pretty cheap guy and have stayed at some BAD motels. This one is by far the WORST! Drug addicts come here to have parties in the rooms. Screaming and yelling in the hallways well past midnight. Drugs are being done out in the hallways. I don't know how this place has more than a one star rating. I almost had to call 911! This is NO JOKE! STAY AWAY FROM this place if you actually want to get some sleep and quiet. As far as hotels go this place is as bad as it gets!

Close enough to the city of San Antonio, so convenient for sightseeing.

Great location with an IHOP right across the street. Double win! Rooms were very clean and smelled very clean. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Upon arrival and entering the lobby, it wreaked of cigarette smoke throughout the halls. Had to double check if the rooms were non-smoking. Our room walls had the scent of cigarettes as well. We left a "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door, so housecleaning skipped to the next room, but banged into the walls as they were vacuuming at 7:30/8:00 in the morning when our checkout time was not until 11am; we did want to "sleep in" at least until 9am. The room walls and doors are so thin that we could hear all the commotion going on since very early in the morning. We crossed the street to your establishment from another motel because of price difference; had we known that our experience was going to be like this, we would have paid the extra buck. Highly doubt that we'll be back or recommending y'all.

Never Again! The walls were super then you could hear everything outside of your room. People staying across my room we’re having a party to all hours of the night. Not only that it was a non smoking room but they were smoking and you could smell it in the hall way. The room never seemed to stay cool. We saw a few roaches and the bathroom was a little dirty. I found a hair on one of the pillows. The room was cheap but I’d rather pay extra to be comfortable and feel safe.

This hotel is great of you need a place to rest your head. Nothing amazing aboit this lodging are besides a place to sleep. Room rates are $49.99 a night, and I do believe they do have weekly rate. There is a Ihop directly across the street if you aren't up for traveling to far for food.

Staff is great including the owner. Can't stand the roaches. They were toys for my pet so one of us enjoyed them. Stayed anyway because of the staff, didnt know where else to go. New friend says to try InnTown suites in the Leon Valley. Stayed also due to my dad did exterminating so I just kept a can of raid. Would I use the hotel again, not sure.

Went in with my inlaws this past week and they let me know about their last stay, that was not so nice, but with the location they came back, and to their surprise. We were very pleased. From the moment we checked in, the lady at the front desk, vanessa, as she introduced herself was extremely courteous and professional. She not only did the minimum check in she held a very cordial conversation. Our room was clean and the atmosphere was very quiet which was important since we had been on the road. I would recommend this establishment to anyone. Housekeeping is great and front desk is awesome.

I informed the front desk I was leaving for awhile. I had a small dog and was told if it barked I would be called. I was called and told my dog was barking. I arrived to my room within 25 minutes. At 9pm I left again and took my dog. I returned at 2am and found a note regarding my dog barking and being left alone. That night I heard another dog barking across the hall from my room. The next morning I informed the front desk employee of the above. I told her to tell the owner to review security cameras to see that I had taken Snowball. I have rented Motel 6 rooms for years; Austin, Corpus Christi, Houston and San Antonio and I've never had a problem. I will never stay at this particular site. The room had small roaches and a white powder behind night stand. I informed them I was going to eat and was leaving Snowball alone for awhile. I returned and took her with me, yet I found a note saying I left my dog alone and it was barking. Even though I informed them I heard another dog barking, they didn't believe me. I will continue using Motel 6 but not if the owners are Indians.

Everything was great in price and cleanliness but one problem there was an overally huge spider in our room other than that it was great.

There was a was of hair on the shower wall. The light shades and top of door jambs we're very dusty. The room was hot, they didn't even bother to turn the A/C on on a hundred degree day and it took several hours to cool off. They didn't have any extra pillows, 2 per bed is all we had and would not give us any more. They had no shampoo or Kleenex in the room. No directory saying how to contact the front desk.

I love Motel 6, I really do. I usually get a fairly nice room at a good price. Not here, though. The room was dirty when I arrived — but not obviously so. The bed had the sheets pulled up to a semblance of having been made, but on pulling back the blankets there was dirt and particulate matter all over the linens. I would've reported it to the front desk clerk, but he had already brushed me off when I checked in. I was also greeted in the room by 3 very active German roaches. So that was nice — at least I had company. The bedside lamp didn't work, though, so I wasn't able to see them in the night. Which was a shame, as I really would've liked to know where they were and if they brought friends. The room also stank. Like a locker room. It was gross. I couldn't really go anywhere else, though. I was stuck. Oh, and there was the issue of price. Quoted 72 a night, ended up paying 78. Didn't realize that until I did the math on the digital receipt as I DIDN'T RECEIVE ONE FROM THE CLERK. Sorry for the caps, but that seems important in light of the fact that he later told me he had to bring his own printer to work when I went looking for a business center (I realize not all hotels have this amenity, so that's not a knock) and a pair of scissors (which I was also informed the hotel did not have, which is way more surprising than the lack of a business center).

This motel 6 is horrible!. Lobby was trashy, guy at the front desk was rude and not caring, didn't have change $$, room was very dirty, the floor wasn't swept by maid, leftover food crumbs on the table and chairs, stains on walls-sheets-curtains, mold everywhere, restroom was extremely bad, beds were messy. Plus we were able to hear people watching TV or horse playing around if you know what I mean though the walls. Long story short it was horrible, never staying here again. My family and I didn't feel safe. Definitely staying some place else next time. Don't waste your money here. That's what we get for trying to save $. What this place needs is a remodel…

Stayed here as part of a road trip across the country, and wow — did not expect a Motel 6 to be this nice. We chose the hotel because it's near I-10 and it's dog-friendly, but all elements of the room (cleanliness, safety, friendliness of staff) really exceeded expectations. Would definitely stay here again!

Your check in clerk was very nice and courteous. She made a point of pointing out to park in areas away from the roofing construction. I was very satisfied with the cleanliness of my room. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The receptionist seemed rude. He almost refused to give 2 key cards instead of just one. The hallways are very hot! Roof Construction going around 7am woke me up and wasn't really able to go back to sleep! Motel seemed very dirty. Bed sheets stained! Bed was uncomfortable! Never again will I stay at a Motel 6.

It had bedbugs but they only big my baby.

The night staff was very rude, we waited outside thirty minutes to get a room. Then they would not accept my vCard. Had to go find atm. Room was like, a prison cell no decor no soap shampoo etc and mattress was a cheap wire mattress. Never in my life have I experienced such a place. At least it was clean.

It was great, there was ac and it kept me cool the sheets were clean and overall it was an enjoyable stay if obly they could upgrade there tvs then ut would be way better off.

The walls were paper thin. The people in the room next to us talked loudly on the phone well past midnight. Other than that, it was OK.

Motel charged me $105 for a recent stay even though I canceled. No worries I have staff infection and have put it in every room.

Bad service, dirty rooms, the lady for the front desk was very rude, NEVER return to this hotel, NEVER recommend it to anyone, I really angry for speed my money on this hotel THANKS FOR YOUR BAD SERVICE!

Crappy service and staff is very unprofessional. Since check in, the man had a very rude and unfriendly attitude. The hotel rooms have cheap and uncomfortable beds with cigarette burn sheets on them. We checked out 2 rooms and all four beds had the same issues. They don't provide the basics of shampoo, conditioner or lotion in their rooms. Not to mention the attitude we received for getting ice. Apparently they are too cheap that they allow only one small bucket of ice and even though we had two rooms, the woman at the front felt the need to be very unprofessional and make a scene about it. Not realizing the facts. In all my past stays of hotels/ motels I've never experienced such terrible service. Be ware for those who like to sleep in, this is definitely not the place! House keeping goes around at 9 am knocking on EVERY door to start cleaning. Would highly recommend any other hotel except this one for sure!

Rooms were very clean… it helped that the aircondition was on when we got our room… the water pressure was awesome had a mini-massage on a shoulder that was bothering me. Was not expecting that… a+ for that… the bed was a little hard for me but did not hear any complains from the kiddos… the staff very nice and professional… thanks for a good stay could of been great except the parking at night was not all that great not very well lit…

If I could give no stars and still write the review thats what I'd do. Buckle up, this is going to be harsh one. Arrive on Friday night for late check-in, get into room and it reeks of cigarettes (advertisers non smoking. ) Ask the receptionist for a change and she laughs at us. House keeping is also a joke, bugs running around the floor, and we will probably wake up with scabies. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to stay because if you don't, you're likely to leave this abortion of a place with an infection. Be careful driving in the parking lot also, potholes are likely to damage your vehicles and the used needles could give you a flat tire.

Won't stay there & refuse to pay my hard earned money to share a room with cockroaches! Yuck! Totally gross! Not afraid of them … just think they're disgusting & don't choose to bring them home to Phoenix, Az with me! Sorry, but you can leave the light on for someone else! Better still… you can leave the light on for the roaches… I remember fm my shipboard days during my 20yrs in the U. S. Navy,, roaches hide well when the lights are turned on! ; — (

This place is a joke. The maids are crack heads including the manager. Not a friendly atmosphere. Although the rooms are remodeled still full of cockroaches.

Very pleased with the accommodations, room was clean, the beds and pillows were very soft.

It is good enough for rest and also the enjoy the San Antonio attractions the hotel is near to the downtime by car and also was on right size a IHOP restaurant that you can go walking.

Three words. What a dump. I got a room at the red roof for $5 more a night. Clean. 2 hbo stations and the TV had a guide so you could find the stations.
