Review of Mokara Hotel & Spa 4*

Absolutely gorgeous hotel and spa with superb service and a tranquil setting. If you're looking for an immaculately clean, sleekly decorated hotel room with an awesome view from your private balcony, and a stunning marble bathroom with whirlpool bath and separate shower, this it the only hotel to stay at! There were thoughtful touches such as turn-down service, complimentary slippers and a sleeping mask left in the room, and fresh fruit delivered to our room. The service was impeccable. Every single employee I encountered in the hallway, elevator, lobby, spa or restaurant looked directly at me, smiled, asked how my day was and offered in some way to help (holding a door, with directions, offering water on a particularity hot day, etc). Our bellman noticed I had a small cooler that was leaking and quickly offered to bring in a mini-fridge to put my items in which arrived minutes later; very much appreciated. I had ordered something from the restaurant to be sent to the rooftop pool. Jorge actually came up personally to explain why it couldn't be delivered at that time, but quickly offered to comp the drinks when we were ready to receive them, very nice. The spa was bar-none the best I've ever been to. The staff was professional and courteous. You just have to see this place to believe it, breathtaking! A key to a locker and slippers are assigned to guests upon arrival. In the locker is a super comfy robe. Relax in the sauna, steam room or large whirlpool, then shower in a gorgeous shower room under the best shower head ever! It's like hard rain all over you (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner provided, plush washrags and towels placed in the shower area). Next, all the toiletries are in the "primping" room (I called it! ) sunscreen, facial wash, body and facial lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, razor, brush, Q-Tips, cotton swabs, blow dryers, deodorant, hairspray, curling and flat iron. They thought of everything a woman needs to get ready! Then, there's the relaxation room… ahhhhh. Comfy chaise lounges, soft, tranquil music, soft lighting, infused water, blends of teas, nuts and raisins are provided. If you choose the Mokara Hotel and Spa on the Riverwalk, you will leave feeling, relaxed, comfortable, rested and not being able to wait to come back to the hotel for more pampering! FIVE STARS SERVICE, GORGEOUS PROPERTY!
