I wasn't scared because my bf was with me. This place has long term guests. They charged us $104 a room for our pets (2 small dogs). Poor quality rooms. The long term guests should be on one side of the property away from people traveling through. Looked online later and saw rates were $40 a night. We had 2 rooms. We got our money back for the overcharging.

We are vendors that travel around West Tennessee. We've stayed here several times. Staff is great, location and accessibility is great, room comfort and cleanliness is great. We have several more shows coming this year, in the area, we will be staying here!

Room pictures online look better than what's provided. Standard rooms, no frills that's foe sure. Cleanliness is an issue there was dust caked on the vent in the bathroom and mold and discolored panels in the tub. Floors didn't feel clean and I didn't want to walk bare footed if I didn't have too. I wish I had taken my business somewhere else. They advertise a pool however it's only open seasonally at certain times. The only secure door leading out has a swinging lock and the screws are all loose! I'm not impressed and I would urge you to spend a few dollars more a night for better accomodations!

The room just ok. It could have used a little vacuuming. Large hole in wall in bathroom. Microwave knob was greasy. They served coffee for the morning time, but had no cups to put the coffee in. I was in a room for smokers, but no ashtrays were provided. The people behind the desk were very polite. The price was reasonable.

Dirty room. Rude manager. Hotel needs an update. Towels were dirty with stains and front desk won't give clean towels. *Reply *No you are not sorry. You been doing this for years. If you truly cared you would do right by your guest and employees.

Hotel is very unorganized, rooms are dirty and there are no towels ever, staff are rude, housekeeping doesn't clean well at all. There are bed bugs too. Gross.

Great overall stay allthough having to climb the stairs due to elevator being down.

An absolute delight for a budget hotel. It was spotless & seemed to be newly renovated. Due to some unexpected events, I ended up staying for almost 3 weeks, housekeeping was polite and courteous. Front desk staff was knowledgeable and always helpful. It couldn't be in any more perfect location with restaurants within walking distance. This hotel made a great impression on me and I can't say enough good things about it. I highly recommend a stay at this Econo Lodge.

Terrible service. Hotel is old and needs a whole renovation. Did not feel safe.

STOP LOOKING AND GO STRAIGHT TO THIS MOTEL! Especially if your on a budget and have had past experiences with small hotels like I have. The staff here are great! The rooms are clean, modern, and downright cozy. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Every aspect of our stay here was more than satisfactory! When we realized our stay was being prolonged a week, we were beside ourselves to learn they were giving us a weekly rate that literally cut our cost in half. Bravo! To the delightful staff and thank you for making our experience there a great memory. We Will Be Back.

I was not completely satisfied… the towels had a foul smell to them. Beer and other items were left in room, the microwave was dirty and the iron had been taken from the room obviously from the last guest. The next morning at breakfast they had no milk, yogurt, fruit, the bread was not fresh, no water, etc.

I've stayed here many times over the last several years. Accommodations are pretty basic, but that's what you'd expect for the price. Rooms are clean and spacious enough (I don't go to Memphis to hang out in my motel room, anyway). MAJOR DRAWBACK: the elevators! On a good day, only one (of the two) is working. When/if it works, it's very slow arriving, and it doesn't always stop at your floor when you press the button. I give the place 2.5 stars; if the elevators were reliable, I'd give it 3.5, maybe even 4 on a good day. It ain't the Ritz, but it's close to everything and it's very affordable. (P. S. To whoever said the staff was "ghetto" — — no, they're primarily African — American. Don't like it? Don't come to Memphis. )

The best weekly rates in the area. Very surprisingly nice rooms. Very convenient location if you're visiting Memphis. The internet is up to par with online gaming, at least for me. The most surprising part is how low the reviews are. This is an absolute steal for the area.

10/27/2017 We had reservations to stay there for 2 nights. We get there the computer was down but since we had reservations it was on paper also. I asked for a extra pillow and 1 — 2 extra towels. She goes in laundry room and comes back and says I have a pillow but no pillow case. I said that's om we will manage with what we have. Then she said there is no clean towels. Ok we will deal with what we have in room. Get to room there is NO TOWELS AT ALL. Needless to say I got my refund back and started searching for a new place. Never Again.

The elevator failure all the time, the bathroom very dirty, TV control very bad place. Not recommended.

The staff was fantastic and the location is convenient to all the festivities. The exterior of the hotel could use a much needed makeover and the elevator is downright scary but overall it was a good stay.

A bit shabby on the outside, clean and nice on the inside except for rust spots on the tub and one of the light fixtures. Staff is nice and helpful. The Mexican restaurant next door is top notch! All in all, a decent value.

This place is run down and has seen it's better day. The first night of my stay on this trip I am in town working btw I could not even get into my room because the door handle was broke. The woman in the office was also unsuccessful so thirty minutes later I was finally given another room but not before I was told that they didn't have anymore available. My room had been booked two weeks prior by my employer and paid for which did not seem to matter. The rooms are dingy at best the bath tub and microwave are both rusty, inside the fridge was dirty and the air conditioner is not great and very dirty. The grounds around the area stink of over filled trash cans and in general it looks that just enough is done to maintain and that is it. It is an ok place I guess if you are say a construction worker staying here short term but I definitely would not ever bring my family here to stay.

Pros: Near Beale Street Hookers on our floor Workers were very polite. Cons: Stained carpet. Muggy and smoke smelling rooms. Small TV. Same "breakfast" every day. Lumpy and sagging begs. Peeling paint. Mold in bathrooms Nasty ass parking garage which costs $

Clean, if not outdated decor. A good buy considering the price. Only issue was that only a single elevator was working during our stay and it was very slow. Walking distance to Beale Street.

Room was ok. Elevator was scary and can't get it to open from the top floor of the parking garage. Additional fee for parking as well. People were courteous I had to call to get room for the morning breakfast opened up.

We were escaping the hirricanehere in Florida. I called ahead of time to find out if they had availibility. The lady on the phone told me they did. I asked to reserve a room she told me no that I didnt need to. They had "plenty" available rooms. We arrived hours later just as I had explained to her that we would. We were told that they didn't have any avail me rooms. We were exhausted. The lady checking us in gave us the only room they had. I was offered a lower rate because it only had 1 bed when we needed 2. So they reduced the cost. We got into the room and the light switch plate was missing the light switch had fully exposed wires. Our fire alarm had been removed and the exposed wires left dangling there. The bed had cigarette burns on the co ers it had an odd brown again on the comforter. The shower curtain was covered in mold spots and dirt splatters. The walls of the showers were broken and cracked and bulging. The whole room smelled horrible. We stayed because we had no where else to go.

I just want cups for coffee… that's all I've ever wanted.

The front desk receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The bed and linens were comfortable, although the room itself was dated and dirty. This appears to be a hotel that many people "live" in. Pool was OK, but closed to early. There was a nice picnic area overlooking the pool. We reserved the room in advance, and to pay upon arrival. As we arrived and pulled up the motel on our phone, we saw that the price of rooms was 25.00 cheaper, though they were not able to give us this price. Breakfast is included, and it was good. Had a waffle maker, and a nice hot waffle was great to start the day.

My fiance and I needed a room for the evening thanks to a fire that had happened in our house. After she had called them and they told her there was a room available for what we were looking for once we arrived we were told that it looked like they were booked up. After a few minutes on the computer the front desk woman said they had a couple of rooms and asked if we wanted ground floor or upper. After selecting the ground floor and being charged for the room we walk in to find that there was black mold on the walls, in the shower, and all over the hanger rack. There was absolutely no hot water what so ever in the room as well. After going to talk to the front desk in the morning we having been to exhausted to fight we were more or less j ist waved off and our concerns were met with little more than dismissal. I once again state that there is visible black mold in this room and would not recommend this location.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This is the NASTIEST "hotel" I have ever been in. Completely ran down. Elevators are junk. The hallways are not air conditioned. The entire place smells and is SO humid. Not only did our room have mold but it was FILTHY. I can't even put in to words how bad this place is. It should be shut down!

I was hesitant to stay here because of all the bad reviews that I had read. I was sure that they had to be wrong because I have stayed at many Choice Hotels and have never had a bad experience. My overall experience was good. Don't pay attention to some of the reviews. I think some people just want attention or a free room. We checked in then went to go to our rooms and had some problems with the elevators not working properly. Mostly because too many people try to get on at one time. This is an older hotel so you need to give the elevator time and not put on too much weight. Our room was nice and clean, had all of the amenities that we needed. I wanted to check out the pool while I was there but did not have time. But it looked really nice from my room. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Had a good stay. Will definitely book a room again Oh yeah, the best surprise there was the little Blues Club that was attached to the hotel and garage. Had a live band and the drinks was not watered down. Absolutely amazing definitely have to check it out. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

The location is perfect, 3 blocks from Beale, short walk to other attractions and awesome restaurants. The hotel was in a state of slight disrepair, the elevater was scary in that the buttons did not always work, you did not know if you were on your way to the desired floor. The room did not have enough end tables, we also did see a cockroach in our room, only 1 though. There was a strong aroma of Marijuana in the hallway where our room was. All in all we got what we paid for, we went for the cheaper hotel in downtown Memphis, It did the job, decent place.

Decent service. They have extended stay rooms with kitchenette. Have mentioned the fridge it Is out for almost a week now and nothing has been done about it or I'd say it's a 4 star.

It was dirty it smelled and the elevator didn't work. I was with my mother who has health issues can't be in the heat and it was stuffy in the building and was barely air conditioned. We didn't even stay the night there we demanded a refund and went to the Super 8. Half the price and better service. Plus we just didn't feel like we were in a safe environment.

The air conditioner didn't work. I had to change my own sheets. The blankets were torn. There was no phone in the room. It looked to have blood all over the bathroom. I had to change out light bulbs to have light. They could not change me out of that room my first night. They did put me in a better room the next night. They did not give me any sort of discount for the nightmare I walked into.

If there is a — 5 star this location would get the MINUS 5 star from me. DONT STAY HERE I went to Memphis for 3 days and stayed here as soon as I went in my room it was warm even with the air at 60 only in the room maybe an hour and they were having to move me to a different room, second day I was there I had to call for the same problem they sent there maintenance man up who took the filter out of the petac unit and washed it didn't reset it or anything and told me that's about all he could do later on that evening I woke up to my room being so hot I had to go sit in my car just to cool down. They ended up having to move me again at 1 in the morning. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel, my aunt also stayed there and had the same problems. I will be finding somewhere outside of downtown this week and will happily drive because that is just crazy in 2 days I was moved 3 times. They didn't offer any kind of refund nothing I will be calling the manager and anyone else I need to.

It was clean and nice the location was goodgood.

Old and run down. Even the carbon copy check in forms scream antiquated. The housekeeping service seems to have given up. They didn't even completely make my bed lol. At least everything functions and if you're on a tight budget it's an affordable bed. Just don't expect much more.

The hotel was old. The bathtub was cracked and stained. Sheets were also strained.

I will never stay at this hotel again. First off the elevator is a serious safety concern. It took 5 minutes for it to start moving and when it stopped it felt like it dropped 5 feet. The door had to forced open and we found out it was stuck between floors. Deciding to take the stairs wasn't much better. They were poorly lit, very dirty and smelled like urine. There were no towels or pillow cases in the room and we had to ask numerous times to get them. The bathrooms were clean but there were stains on the chairs, bed coverings and everything else was dusty. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else.

I will start by saying that at the very least the room was clean. It goes downhill quickly after that. The cable television did not work. The window in the room looked like something from Shawshank prison. The toilet ran constantly. The corridors were around 90 degrees. One elevator did not appear to be in service, the other seemed to take forever. The continental breakfast was horrible. Cold sausage gravy, rock hard bagels and the worst coffee ever. Choice hotels usually have some value in their rates, this place has location and not much else. Would NOT stay again!

I didn't get to have an experience at this hotel because of weather. They still charged my card even though I cancelled due to weather. I cannot get in touch with anyone and when I did the woman was very rude and refused to help me! This hotel is not somewhere I would recommend! Poorly ran establishment!

The room was nice and clean, had a fridge and microwave. The towels were a little dingy.

The room itself was the best part of the stay since it was clean. There were 5 people in our room and we had to continuously ask for more towels, sitting around the room waiting. They never answered the phone at the front desk. We stayed on the 9th floor, there was one elevator working and it never worked the way it should. We constantly got stuck on different floors and it would take us up instead of down and vice versa. The stairs smelled like pee and it's hard to take the stairs everday to the 9th floor. I would not stay here again.

When we arrived at our room the door was wide open and the room had not been turned over. There was trash from the prior guests and when we Informed a housekeeper in the hallway she walked away and then mumbled something and we waited for 40 minutes but no one ever came. We called the front desk twice with no answer and then decided to go down ourselves. The elevators took forever and occasionally didn't work which has was inconvenient as we were on the 10th floor. The front desk was friendly and assigned us a new room so we didn't have to wait for housekeeping any longer. The room was satisfactory but not at all considered night.

Good hotel for the money. Parking is 10$ extra. Bed was clean and room was too except a few stains on the carpet but that's no big deal. Complimentary toiletries were not great. So bring your own shampoo, soap, etc. They also do not provide a hair dryer so as a woman that was kind of a thumbs down. Over all it's worth a hundred bucks and in a good location downtown. I'd stay here again it was quiet and cleaner than most.

We stay at this hotel for track weekends. Rooms are good for the money.

Great location! Convenient, well-lit parking. Clean, comfortable room. Every staff member I encountered was courteous and extremely helpful.

Not bad for one of the cheapest hotels in downtown Memphis. If I remember correctly there were 14 floors and the elevators take FOREVER. The desk staff are unprofessional and when we arrived to our room in 32 degree weather the heat wasn't on, but those are fairly small things I could deal with. The location is just a few blocks from Beale Street and the FedExForum, so I can't complain!

This is a very old hotel, not recommended, even though it was close to where we needed to be it was not a very clean or updated hotel. I could have paid the same price at a nicer hotel and been more comfortable. The sheets were not clean had to get another set due to mine had black stuff on them. I booked a suite for $99 dollars and I was basically in a standard king room, this is compared to other places I have stayed. When I checked out I was charged several taxes and a parking fee that you are not told about when making reservations, my bill came to a $130 for a $50 dollar value. The breakfast was not good, and the noise out side due to construction was awful. I would not stay here ever again. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER! way over priced for the hotel.

Hated it. The staff and house keepers are extremely rude. Most look like crack heads off the streets. I did not want to leave anything valuable in the room. You can't get an extra towel in this place. How do you half ass clean a room and not leave towels? I will never stay in this dump again.

For the price, this is a good hotel. It's not the Plaza Hotel by any means, but the showers were clean, the fridge was cold, and the TV got a few channels. The Wi-Fi wasn't very good, but I didn't expect it to be since it was a very inexpensive hotel.

This was the worse hotel I have ever stayed at. The elevators on the 9th and the 10th floor were broken. The stairway smelled like pee. The restroom The shower was dirty looking. The toilet paper holder was broken. There was blue mold in the shower. The cable did not work. I was offered Wi-Fi but never received it. The parking was terrible. when I got to the vote.

Recently stayed at this hotel for 5 days The service from the staff was excellent any problem was immediately fixed The room was large with all the facilities you require JUST FANTASTIC We walked about 10 min to the restraunts for dinner and beale street It renewed my faith after our new York experience Great experience would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Do not, I repeat do not stay at this dump. This place has the worse customer service. First of all my sister booked rms in advance for a family reunion in the area scheduled for 1 wk or so July 17 — July 24 2014. The price seemed really gd $250/wk (should've known something was wrong then), anyways we drove all the way from Boston, Ma and when we were in Virginia got a call from the front desk person saying they had given our reserved rms away, stating that they try to chg the credit card and it declined. But since when do you get charged before you chk in or chk out of a hotel, we could've called to cancel or anything! You do not give up someone's confirmed rm for ANY REASON unless THEY call to cancel!. So know every 1 in the van were boiling mad, then she perceeded to laugh at us abt the situation, we were adamant that once we arrive in millington we were getting a rm. Come to the find out the local police were familiar with this hotel doing this kind of thing, which led us to believe their in cahoots with each other, so it wasn't worth the time trying to fight with them after traveling abt 24hrs. Luckily we found the Comfort Inn that had wonderful service nearby and I will be writing a review on their website of all the great staff there. Also we actually saw the hotel (Quality Inn) during our stay, my gosh we were soooo happy we didn't stay there.

My husband and I stayed a week until our house was ready for moving in. We paid 259.00 for a room that had a small kitchenette. The kitchen was not cleaned at all because when we brought a few groceries in we placed the bags on the counter and they were sticking to it. The sink was absolutely filthy and I had to clean it. The toilet ran after every flush and we had to lift the top up and put the floater back down every time. Above the door there was a ball of dead bugs etc wrapped in cobwebs. The tub was dirty with stains in it as if it had not been cleaned so I bleached it down. The telephone had all types of dirt on the earpiece and buttons and I had to clean that as well. The beds were ok but they were really small and the bathroom was so small you had to scoot on the side of the toilet to be able to close it. This hotel was not the best in the world and I will never recommend anyone to stay here. We will never come back to stay here either.
