If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Disgusting! Dirty sheets, loud long-term residents that look like drug addicts. Sign says breakfast from 6-9… what a joke! It starts at 8, if it starts at all. Rude woman at the desk wouldn't honor Expedia reservation then price-gouged us. Plus she charged an extra $25 for a second person even though that was part of the reservation. We had an event in town. She told us to pay it or find another place, which would have been difficult because of the event. Avoid this place!

This place was disgusting! There were stains all over the carpet, walls, and sheets. The floor was sticky. The staff was rude and inattentive.

DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY! BLood stains on the furniture. Dirty beds. Nasty floors. Smells like wet dog. We walked in and right back out and got our money back! I won’t be surprised if this place gets shut down soon! STAY AWAY.

Horrible rooms, the smell of mold is overwhelming. Beds feel 20 years old pillows are paper thin. AC barley works. Went to front desk to check out doors were locked so no breakfast even though they will tell you free breakfast when you check in. Avoid this hotel!

Terrible. I don’t know where the pictures of the lobby came from but it’s not this hotel. Most of the staff is incredibly rude. At the desk she almost didn’t give me my change. We get to the room and the first thing we see are SLIPPERS AND RECEIPTS on the floor under the chair. We asked for new sheets right then, stayed for 3 nights and never got them. There was BLOOD on one of the beds. Asked for new towels because there were 2 of us and she literally sighed “i guess” and handed them to us with a major attitude! the towels she handed us were stained and nasty. We walked out of the room to smoke (non smoking room) and another worker ran up to us going “WHAT ROOM ARE YOU IN? WHAT ROOM? ” When I checked in I asked about what time the breakfast started. She told me 6-9 so we got up to eat and there was never a breakfast all 3 days. This was a last result thing. We wouldn’t have stayed here any other way. Absolutely terrible. Can’t believe I paid $255 for 3 nights in a place like this. They need to be shut down. Pathetic.

Do not stay at this hotel. After booking a room here through Priceline, I was called by a rude lady that barely spoke English and told that my room would not be held unless I arrived before 9pm. Explained that my arrival was not possible before 9pm. She again said she couldn't hold my room after 9pm then hung up on me. So I made other arrangements. I will never stay at or recommend this hotel to anyone. Worst experience with a hotel I ever had… and I never even got to their front door. What a disgrace of a hotel… and customer service.

This is overall the worst motel not hotel that I have stayed at ever. I was moving to Nashville area and needed to stay somewhere overnight all other hotels close to my new home was sold out so this was last resort. I must say this was awful. Cigarette burned bed linen that also had blood stains and old semen stains on them and when my fellow guest asked for clean new sheets they stated the sheets on the bed were clean and they were not the front desk women gave major attitude as if we did something wrong. Im thankful we had money to go out and purchase our own clean cheap sheets for the the night and that I also had my own personal air mattress. The overall status of this motel is that it needs to be shutdown and rebuilt you clearly get what you are paying for and all these pictures are misleading. Just overall rude cumstomer service from the front desk.

I called earlier in the night to ask for availability and pricing. I had already looked up the price online which stated $59. When I called, she quoted me $69.99. I told her that the price online was $59, that's when she presided to feed me a line of bs and dropped the price to $64.99. When I arrived tonight, they were closed (when I called earlier I stated that I would be there after closing) and I was not met with any type of customer service or hospitality. I reserved a 1 bed room, I was given a 2 bed room. My bill was $79.35, so I gave her $80 and she didn't even offer me my change which is wrong on every level. Just to get it clear, I don't care about 0.65 but it's the principal of not even offering it. When I asked how to get to the room, she was rude. The remote doesn't work for the tv, there are water stains on the ceiling from roof leaks. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Luckily I used to do pest control and I searched the room for bedbugs and it was clear. That's the only positive thing I have to say about this place.

Horrible customer service. I payed for a non-smoking room but got a room with cigarette burns all over the bed sheets, towels and chairs. I regret ever booking this hotel.

Horrible hotel. Not wheelchair accessible! Service was horrible and not accommodating. They charged extra for teens. Please save your money and do not stay here. It looks like a ghost town.

My friend and I with our 4 young Children paid 130 for 2 double beds to stay there for a night. On our way to do. We arrived at 1 am and were rudely told we need to pay $25 extra for another adult. When we tried to explain that was not in the description she gave us our id’s back and told us there are no more rooms available. Then refused to refund any money. This Indian woman running the place is a horrible person and should not be aloud to do business.

Would give zero stars if possible… rude staff, nasty rooms, old lumpy beds, they don't offer what is advertised such as cable, King beds, and in room Wi-Fi.

Absolutely awful hotel. Not only does it not look anything like the pictures online, but the staff is also terrible. There’s a no refund policy and if you ask for one they’ll tell you you aren’t allowed in the office because you “scared her mother” who hangs out there. Also, there’s no cable. They told us to use the buttons on the side of the TV because they canceled their service provider so they only have like 5 Tv channels. The room was nothing like expected. As people who never complain, my husband and I made it a point to write this review. Absolutely awful. We left 10 minutes after checking in and just took the loss on our money. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

Don't ever stay at this hotel. I've had numerous experiences with it through my job. Bugs everywhere and I've seen several of the beds have dried blood on them. Then if you request a new room the staff kicks you out and refuses to give you a refund. Stay anywhere else!

This is probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. We got here, the beds were filthy. The lady fought with me about getting new linens. Our TV and Wi-Fi didn't work the entirety of our stay. Breakfast was supposed to be served between 6-9 yet no breakfast was to be found because the manager said, and I quote, " I need to get some sleep". There's a light that's burned out in my room that they refuse to change. I was told that it's not a big enough deal to worry about. Overall, the service is horrible. The rooms are disgusting and this is definitely somewhere I would never stay again. Would give it zero stars if I could.

Would give it zero stars if possible. They were extremely rude and said they didn't receive our reservation for 4 in our room. We reserved a double room and they wanted to charge 15.00 for each person after 2 people. After telling them one of us was handicapped and small like a baby they still wanted to charge for her and said they didn't want our money just go somewhere else.

Meh. Expensive for a week. Better than most extended stay rooms I suppose. Parking was extremely inconvenient! Also, no elevator so climbing flights of stairs wasn't ideal. Rooms were decent. Bed was cleaner than expected… and by that I mean the mattress itself. Sheets and blankets were stained and burned with cigarette holes. Pillows were super gross… Lock on door was broken so that was sketchy. Although we didn't have any issues with loitering or wandering people. Bathroom was absolutely ideal. Super clean with a huge tub! Washer and dryer were very nice, almost brand new. Vending was disappointing as they constantly took money. No breakfast as offered. Fridge leaked and micro shorted all the time. Wi-Fi didn't work more than half the time. Overall I'd stay again if it weren't so ridiculous in price. Not worth the asking amount but it's a decent little area.

There customer service is horrible! We paid for our room. Had some friends over (not too stay) and she told all of use too leave and that she was calling the cops. If they did not leave. Then hung up the phone. Very very bad customer service.

This place was price gouging everyone for the hurricane evacuation. That was illegal! They had no Wi-Fi, no clean room, and the service was terrible. Do not stay in this hotel.

Do not waste your money, this place sucks! I booked this hotel for myself, my wife and daughter and it was not in a great area to begin with. I was a little skeptical but we figured we would check out the rooms first. When the front desk lady showed us the room, we walked back to an area behind the office and there were about 5 or 6 males sitting in the area just staring at us. Did not feel like a safe hotel. After the front desk lady left, we decided to check beds for bed bugs. When we lifted up comforters and mattresses there were blood stains and other types of stains all over the mattresses. One of the mattresses had old blood stains on the side of it. The desk chair and other cushioned arm chair had nasty stains on them too. We decided to call and see about a refund with expedia, and they called the front desk. The middle eastern front desk lady lied to them and said we had been there for hours when we were only there for about 15 minutes. My wife and I went to front desk to tell them we wanted a refund which to no surprise she refused. She was very rude and nasty and called me a liar. I asked her for a print out to show we checked out and said she couldn't do it which was a lie, then said she wouldn't do it. They also were rude when we first checked in and told me to move my car to a different spot just after we checked in. This place is run by rude, greedy, scum with no customer service skills whatsoever. Don't spend your money here.

I wish I could give it zero stars and to be honest. The sheets and pillow cases weren't even clean in both rooms we stayed in and the fridge didn't work. On top of that, the lady gave different prices to me and someone else because she didn't know I was still there and could hear, so for someone to get the same room for $89 and I get it for $109 is absolutely ridiculous. Don't come here. It's not worth it. Vending steals your money, too. Just so you know.

Perfectly fine for sleeping. Overpriced for what you get but fair compared to downtown prices. Beds are stiff but not horrible. Everything was clean and there was no noise from other guests in adjacent rooms.

Room was great, super friendly staff, great rate. My only concern were the people being loud in the court yard.

This was the worst hotel experience that I have ever encountered in my entire life! Do not stay at Magnuson! I repeat… DO NOT STAY HERE! The staff are rude AF! I hope this place burns down with the staff inside! I was rushed to come and check in after making my reservation online. Check in is anytime after 2pm. I get a call at 3:30 asking me what time I'm checking in. I said it's after 2 so I can check in anytime. I've already paid and I cannot give you an exact time of when I'm arriving. I check in around 7:30 and the woman tried to give me a double bed when I reserved a King. The next day my mother came by to visit me and housekeeping stopped by my room and said I would be charged if extra people are staying. I explained to her my mom is not staying she's here to pick me up so I can go see my sick father in the hospital! Then I asked for more clean towels and wash cloths being that I showered the night before and she refused! All because my mom was there to pick me up! They refused to give me clean towels the entire weekend until the day of checkout and the towels we got were DIRTY AND STAINED! One staff member made a comment that people steal their towels. Nobody wants them raggedy ass dingy white towels! I would rather stay at the Bates Motel or a roach infested motel rather than stay here. There was no other hotels available for the weekend due to a football game and other events going on in Nashville. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY! They don't even deserve a star!

I've stayed at worse. Rooms were clean but they are skimpy with the towels and toiletries. When they come clean your room they don't bring more soap or shampoo.

Clean room, quiet halls. Beautiful fountain below my room. Lovely breakfast area that was complementary.

I had a paid reservation that was booked in Feb 2017 for a 2 night stay in Aug 2017. Front desk staff refused to honor my confirmed and paid reservation. I took a seat in lobby to nake a few phone calls and was asked to leave as "the lobby is for customers only". I witness same rude front desk clerk deny several persons reservations unless they agreed to pay an inflated rate (due to the eclipse there was very high demand). Price gauging is illegal! This hotel also looked very run down. I did not stay the night and my travel service was able to find me a different hotel.

This place is not worth $10 a night! The rooms are filthy the mattress have a lot of blood stains on them as if they had bed bugs I checked in and I told them no way me and my girls are staying here they gave me another room it's was nasty! I told them no I won't stay here she asked why I said y'all have bed bugs or had bed bugs because of all the blood stains on the mattress! Please Don't Go Here!

Terrible. If I could give them "0" I would. The short older lady that was there when we got there last night acted like a total you know what and then we got to the room and there weren't even any sheets even on the beds in the room. Yesterday afternoon David was trying to get a clean towel from one of the housekeepers for me. I was already out of the shower by this point, and the lady came to the door and he told her what we needed and she had him walk Three flights down the stairs to the laundromat to get the towel. And we paid $100 to stay here last night. I need to report them to the Better Business Bureau ASAP LOL.

Avoid at all costs. We were charged in full for two rooms that we didn't even use, never even entered or saw, EVEN with the clerk's assertion she would refund us. We made a reservation over the phone, and were a little surprised when the clerk called back and asked for payment in full up front. When she asked us to pre-pay, there was NO statement of non-refundable policy. We pulled up to the hotel to find a group of people drinking in the bed of a pickup truck with their radio at full blast, and several other people partying in the parking lot. We asked the clerk if she planned to ask the party to turn down their radio for the night, and she replied the people were not guests of the hotel, so there was nothing she could do about it. We replied that given the number of non-guests hanging out in the parking lot, we didn't feel safe leaving our car there. She immediately switched her story and said the people WERE guests of the hotel and had been staying there for several weeks and were good people who wouldn't bother our car, but if anyone DID break into the car, it was not her responsibility. We asked if there was any more secure place to leave our car. She said no. I emphasize we were polite and rational, and said we decided not to stay at the hotel as it really didn't seem secure, and we understood it was not her fault, but it just was not suitable.

After reading all the negative reviews, I was concerned about staying at this nice out of the way place. We arrived late as I didn't put the address in the GPS correctly. The young ladies I checked in with could not have been nicer. The room was really nice especially for the price I paid. I honestly think being that the hotel is owned and run by an Asian family, makes people think their experience is going to be negative. I thoroughly was comfortable staying here. If you want to see Nashville, and save money, Manguson is a nice quiet place.

This hotel is pretty decent. It was clean and everything was fine. Breakfast ends a bit early at 9. The bathroom door in both of our rooms scraped the floor making an odd noise. Other than that everything was good. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were fine and clean. We ended up here because Hilton gave our room away. It was a terrible discovery after a long drive at 1:30 a. M. And after 8 other hotels these guys had rooms for us so we are grateful. Nice people running a nice place.

Its off of rivergate parkway in rivergate. The rooms are very nice but a little pricey. But really can't complain. The service was excellent and neighbors where friendly would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Would never go again. Room was decent but staff was rude and housekeeping was pushy. The woman at the front desk offered us a price before knowing that we booked online. When she realized that our online reservation was alot cheaper than what she offered she tried to get us to cancel our online reservation and said she would give us the same price. I asked what was the point of cancelling if she was going to give us the same price? She never gave a reason but kept shaking her head yelling she was trying to help us out. She was very rude and upset that she couldn't get over on us and charge us almost triple what our online price was. I also called for a plumber to come and fix the toilet and after about 20 min we called again and she said she forgot. Once the plumber came he was quick so a 2 min process turned into 35 mins. The front desk attendant also told us there was cable, and ONLY 1 CHANNEL WORKED. Wifi definitely didn't work. Those are just a few incidents. But it was a very bad experience and I wouldn't recommend anyone going there.

Omg this is the absolute worse place I'd ever been. It's one of those places where you pull the linens off the bed and only sleep on a sheet and don't cover up and try not to move. Everything else in the surrounding area was full but I think we'd been better off sleeping in our truck. The rooms were filthy. The vending machine area is same as a washer/dryer area that had dead bugs all over it. You could see a diet film ring around the tub. I'm not sure anything in the room had been cleaned in quite a long time. The price for the place was outrageous cause it wasn't worth $5 a night. On the plus side we moved on to Kentucky the next day and stayed in a place that was a 20 on a 10 scale. I surprised this hotel is still in business and I think even Gordon Ramsey/Hotel Hell would just cringe and walk away.

Biggest mistake I ever made going to that crap hole. Staff were totally incompetent. Rooms were disgusting. Sheets, chairs and pillows were stained in 2 rooms. Don't waste your time or money going here. We didn't feel safe staying in that gosh awful place they call a hotel. They lie about telling you about these no refund policy first over the phone they don't actually tell you until you want it back. They very rude… no customer service there. Not worth the time or the money!

When we first walked in the service was horrible the rooms weren't bad the had a little bit of a musty smell breakfast was horrible.

Wish I would've read the reviews first. They are right on the nail about this place. Its not how they claim it to be and refused to let us see the room after owner took money and before we signed anything. Argued with me and would not give us our money back. Space heater for heat. Dirty everything. Including the staff! I've been all over n travel Us frequently and never ever have I not only had to deal with details of room this poorly.

My babies father was bringing me some diapers and she yelled at him "no visitors I call police. " These people are ridiculous. Nosey as hell. Do not stay here.

This is truly a 1 to 2 Star Motel not a Hotel like it says. Pros : Room was ok not horrible like some others. Cons :1 Booked on Hotwire and Motel front desk lady was trying to be rude and nice at sometime, Argumentative type, attitude with me over wanting to see the room because all these people before me kept implying there rooms were bad. : 2 At about 11:00 PM the front desk lobby area closes down and go home unless the have a room in the motel. (If you need something or got a question your S! %+ out of luck). : 3 No free continental breakfast like it stated. : 4 looks like it was Family run business (not Franchise to meet certain hotel standards) not that I'm against family run hotels but all up and down Florida beach front is some bad experiences. : 5 Non smoking room but cigarette burn holes in both sitting chairs. : 6 From the outside looks like hotel but it's setup like Motel instead. Room door is accessed from outside courtyard in the middle. Theres more but you get the point. Will I stay here again I don't think so better planning next time for me.

The manager thought that we had more people in our room than we told her that we had. So she decided to find any and every way to get in our room. When she did, we caught her and pressed chargers for trespassing.

The rooms are clean I grant them that. But there housekeeper/part owner became mad at me and my husband for not leaving fast enough and picked up my phone and threw it they gave us a portable heater because there heat didn't work and refused to move us.

This is a terrible hotel, the front desk clerk, wouldn't give me a refund even though I hadn't even got keys to the room. I had to call my bank and put a stop payment in my card. If you're looking for a good hotel you won't find it here.

Front desk lady was super nice since we came in in the middle of the night looking for a room. The room was clean and nice. The only thing that bothered me was the tub not draining when I showered, even after toying around with it. But other than that I enjoyed my stay and will definitely keep this place in mind next time I come to nashville.

This is MAGNUSON HOTEL? More like an apartment building with regulars who live there. I will never stay here again. No elevator. We were located on the second floor, not handicap accessible. I'm not handicap but did a real number on my knee making it swell. The manager questioned my car parked in the handicap section. I had a placard hanging on the mirror. I guess he thinks you have to be in a wheelchair to be handicap. The sheets were disgustingly yellow, as were the pillows. The mattress topper was lumpy and the blankets had hairs all through them. There were cigarette burns in a non-smoking room and it smelled musty. There were white "stains" on a chair. Ew! I couldn't understand one word the desk clerk was saying because she's foreign. Outside walls were filthy. Open electrical outlet. Could seriously harm a child. I can hardly even justify one star. This seems to be a hotel where people live. I wish I could include pictures. This hotel definitely needs a huge upgrade because THEIR pictures are very deceiving.

Wonderful service, the rooms were clean and the lady at the front desk was extremely nice, I am looking forward to staying again.

Do NOT stay here! The front desk attendant was upset because I wanted a refund after seeing a room she described over the phone as a suite. She was very rude and was snatching papers out of my hand. She even told me I needed to shut up. I wouldnt EVER suggest this place.

I booked this hotel on a trip across the states and it was the most awful experience I've ever had in any hotel. After walking up the stairs we opened up the door to the 3rd floor hallway to be see unfinished construction and be engulfed by the smell of stale smoke. Knowing that this was booked that day we walked down to our room. That is were the true horror started. The beds were a mess, it looked like house keeping forgot that the rooms should be cleaned. We did have some leftover McDonalds bags and nearly finished soda bottles left in the room. I was unhappy so we walked to the lobby to meet their helpful staff. They offered us another room, with no discount for the unpleasant sight of the first one. I declined their offer because I'm sure anyone should and demanded reimbursement. She told me that was fine but it would be $25 on such short notice. I asked for the manager and was told they didn't have any on hand. She did call her manager to let him know of the state of the room. I can't find one silver lining to this place. I would strongly recommend saving your 25$ as I'm sure that you would be asking to leave too. Included are photos of their room.

Cold breakfast. No eggs, bacon or sausage. Damaged exterior stucco. Bare Wood, metal blocking end of courtyard. Rooms clean. Staff ok.

Great hotel. Very comfortable beds and very clean. No pool or anything but great place to sleep. Close to Mall and places to eat.

Ewww! There was BLOOD on our mattress! I've stayed in tons of hotels. And this one was by far the worst! I'd like to say that this was our 2nd choice, because Best Western was full up. The whole place looks like a sketchy, ghetto apartment complex, which, okay. I can deal with that. We get to the room and it looks decent from afar, but when you look a little closer it sucked. Everything about this placed sucks! Stains on the ceiling, writing on the walls, weird stains on the sheets, the coffee pot was even dirty and so much more. THE BEST PART, was when one of my friends woke up in the morning and the sheet was wrinkled and had came off the bed. THERE WAS BLOOD STAINS IN THE MATTRESS! But yeah, worst $100 dollars I've ever spent! It was disgusting! And the walls are paper thin! If I could sum up our stay in one word, the word would just be: Ewww.
