I checked in for my reservation and walked into a dirty room. The employee working the desk did not know how to change room assignments for online booking, so I had to leave and drive another 1.5hrs up the road to find another Hampton Inn (at 2:30am).

Extremely clean! The bed is very comfortable.

This was a great 1 night stay, rooms were clean and “up to date”. Shower was awesome. Did have an adjoining room with small dogs that woke us. Pretty sure they weren’t service dogs.

Nice hotel. The location is a little awkward meaning not much you can walk too. We had a little trouble finding entrance. But clean with a friendly front desk.

Very disappointed. Will stay in Kingsport next time. Plastic bag over the smoke detector in my room.

Great place to stay. Affordable. Nice rooms and staff.

Service with a southern smile and charm and the rooms are very cozy and location has lots of variety.

Was older but clean easily located hotel. Breakfast buffet was very good. Experienced no problems while staying here.

Not the best Hampton Inn we've stayed at. A/C did not work very well; woke up hot several times during the night. Shower curtain rod was loose & not sturdy. Breakfast left a lot to be desired… eggs were dry, no robust coffee, sugar container was empty.

The Hampton inn is in a very convenient place on Lee hwy Bristol. The downstairs lounge is a very large and beautiful space, the employees are hard working and very hospitable. The rooms very clean neat and beautiful, and large.

The rooms were surprisingly spacious, the bedrooms were even seperate from the main room and it had a walk-in closet. The bathrooms were a letdown, however. The actual room had only a toilet and a shower, so you had to walk out onto the carpet into the main room to use the sink/mirror. Other than that there is a fairly large shopping center on the opposite side of the highway.

Wonderful place. Great breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Giving it a 4 because I would like to have had a heated pool. It was a little chilly. Great place to stay.

Tony was really nice and helpful at check-in. The room was good, although the mattress was a little "off" for me, I couldn't quite tell why. Breakfast was awesome, lots of little things to customize like chocolate chips for the waffle and nuts for the oatmeal. Fresh, healthy choices. Would stay here again.

I never met a more sincere, gracious and accomodating staff. I had damaged my motorcycle, coming in on 81, for the Memorial Day DC Run For the Wall. The bike had to be picked up and then to be returned to Phoenix. Unfortunately, due to holiday weekend there were no closed trailers and it would have to sit at the hotel for about 6 days. Sallie Austin, the manager on duty, did not flinch and allowed the motorcycle to be parked by the front door until the pick up occurred. She is not forgotten by me and my group, and we will always be staying there on our annual Memorial Day Run to the Wall. Leon.

Lobby was nice and staff where friendly. The room was clean in appearance, however it was old and poorly remodeled. There where viable holes in the wall. The sprinkler head above the bed was hanging out of the wall. The room was a non-smoking room in a non smoking hotel, yet smelled like smoke. The air conditioner made the smell way worse. There where signs of visible water damage in the room and I suspect mold due to the fact that my wife and myself woke up sinus issues. Mine turned into a sinus infection.

Very nice staff. Most of the hotel is up to date except the rooms. Our room was a little outdated and dingy. Bed was very comfy. Overall a great stay.

Family members from FL, GA, OH, and TX needed to gather in Bristol. This hotel was chosen primarily for location convenience; I chose wisely. At every step of the way the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We needed three rooms and of course the provided rooms were adjacent to one another but one room was BIG to allow us to gather comfortably. My sister inquired if an item in the room was available for purchase…they gave her one. There were other little things the staff did for us that made our stay “just right”. All rooms were clean and beds comfortable. With military discounts, the price was quite reasonable. Before retiring I did a fair amount of travel around the world, and stayed at some very nice hotels. I would put this little ol’ Hampton Inn near the top when it comes to customer service.

Had to stay here overnight and literally made a reservation checked in within 30 minutes. Very accommodating. Clean friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for more!

Easy check-in and check-out, typical continental breakfast, typical rooms. I didn't use any of the amenities but they were there (pool, gym, etc). Good parking, lots of food in the area (Pinnacle shopping area). Staff was friendly and efficient.

While on a road trip with a friend, who got me up in the wee hours of the morning to get on the road again… I managed to leave my laptop computer on the bed, under the sheets. We were on the road for over two hours with a deadline to our next destination when the front desk called with the upsetting news. I can't tell you how fantastic they were in wrapping and sending my valuable items Fed Ex to my home! I was a nervous wreck, I had important work files that were irreplaceable on my computer and thought I was never going to see it again. All of that anxiety was quickly erased when my package greeted me upon my arrival home. It was such a relief! The maid service, the receptionist and head staff were so kind, accommodating and thoughtful… This kind of service just does not happen anymore! Stay here and feel the warmth!

It's like coming home! Been staying here for over 15 years on my travels. They are familiar with us and they really go out of their way to show you that Southern Hospitality! Rooms are clean, lots of channels to choose on TV, extra towels, lots of pillows, towels, soap, etc. Morning Breakfast is served hot with a variety of foods and drinks to choose from! There is a small workout room, gas fireplace in lobby, hot drinks available all day and night, seasonal outdoor pool, computers are available. There is a new shopping mall with many restaurants located across the Interstate. Very convenient!

We had a loved one that had massive heart attack Nov 10, 2017 and he passed away Nov. 14th. During these four days it was day to day of not knowing our situation. This hotel was the utmost helpful to us. The staff was like family to us so kind and compassionate of our needs. We didn’t have reservations because we didn’t know what or when our situation would end and anytime we called for rooms during this period they made it happen with kindness, politeness, friendly hospitality. The rooms were very clean and well kept. Staff was wonderful of taking care of our needs during this very difficult time. Even when we came back for funeral they were just as wonderful to us. Thanks so much, God Bless each staff member.

Nice clean facility. Great room, doible queen. Would prefer a small refrigerator in the room. I did not care for the breakfast dining area being the entrance way.

Very courteous staff. Room was clean, and the breakfast was presented nicely. Will stay here our next time passing through.

The staff are great. Friendly & quick to help. The breakfast was great too. The only problem I had couldn't be solved because you can't move it away from the interstate to where you can't hear the traffic.

Great place! The guy at the desk "forgot his name but he's thinner with long hair" was extremely nice and helpful! Very happy!

Best & Cleanest hotel I ever stayed at not to mention the best mannered employees I have met! 10 out of 10 as far as a good nights sleep goes this should be the standard as far as all Hampton Inn's go!

We arrived late in the evening and hotel entrance is very confusing. The entrance to the hotel is in front of another hotel and not well marked, making it seem like a different entrance is available. Once we parked and walked inside, the staff member working was not as friendly or as welcoming as other hotels. Our stay was okay, definitely not our top Hampton Inn experience.

Chose a standard 2 queen bed, non-smoking room. 2nd floor room was very clean, front desk lady was extremely friendly and answered all of our questions. Once in our room, we could hear everyone down at the pool and there is the Interstate traffic noise, that seems to be the only down sides.

Excellent, the staff and management was wonderful and very helpful. Very accommodating. The room and view is outstanding and extremely comfortable. The best hotel I ever stayed in. They have that personal touch. Don't stay any where else.

What a great place too be. The service was great and kind and friendly. And very commomdeing we will come back and to tell family and friends. Wow what a well managed place.

The gentleman that greeted us when we first arrived was very kind and eager to help. Breakfast was good. Housekeepers are Friendly. Close to the hospital and the pinnacle.

The dated decor in the room and less than desirable breakfast steals two stars from this review. The breakfast gal seemed to be in such a hurry to get everything filled, there was little engagement with the guests (maybe my expectations are too high? ), Myself included, even when I attempted to engage at the beginning and end of the meal. Serving in hospitality is a tough job, but through it all, take that moment to say Hello with a smile. It will take you light years ahead of the status quo of 3-star hotels.

The staff are very friendly. Whenever, I stay here, I'm given a hearty "Welcome Back". They have su different selections of fresh brewed coffee 24/7 and will accommodate your request for a microwave and refrigerator easily. The Free breakfast in the morning has something suitable for any diet. I highly recommend the Bristol Hampton Inn to any road weary traveler!

We usually stay at Hamptons but this one lacks the usual comfort. Our room did not have drapes all the way over the window so a bright light shone all night. We had trouble to cool the room to a comfortable sleeping temp. Probably will bypass this Hampton another time.

Fantastic service from the front desk agent, Tony. Went beyond the call of duty… the rooms were very clean and updated as well.

I think Hampton Inn's have more comfortable beds than other hotels in the same price range. This is a nice location with friendly staff.

Arrived at the hotel at around 3 a. M. On our way to Washington, DC from Texas. Stayed in Room 323. The room was very clean. Although the AC unit was turning, we couldn't get cold air. Breakfast was from 6 a. M. To 10 a. M. I arrived at 9 a. M. Hoping for a real breakfast. There was plenty of fried potatoe cubes, bread, bananas, apples, grit, waffles and cereals. No scrambled eggs. I asked for eggs at the reception, I was told they don't have any from a lady who was too busy shuffling some papers behind the front desk. I was disappointed.

The Inn was very nice as all Hampton Inns are… however… I was ripped off by a third party somehow taking my reservation. I have made reservations all over the USA… yes been to every state… I had this happen twice on this recent trip… be careful … know who you are talking with. I paid $179.00 for a $119.00 room. The mgr said they had no control over it… I won't let this happen again.

I'm a fireman and the alarm went off! Really nice and friendly knowledgeable staff about the hotel itself!

Visited my family briefly while they were in town staying here. It seemed clean if dated. A smokey smell was present throughout the hotel though.

There was left over fruit in our refrigerator. The towels did not smell clean. There was hair in the bathtub. And the maid was nice enough to leave a sticky note saying we had clean bedding. That made us wonder what was cleaned and not cleaned. It was a terrible experience. We would have been more comfortable sleeping in our truck. Especially v since we was staying for surgery.

Wow this is seriously the absolute worst Hampton I've ever stayed at. Hampton shouldn't even let this establishment use it's name! It's embarrassing! My non-smoking room smelled strongly of smoke, there were several blackened areas of the ceiling which looked questionable, my king size bed had one very profound saggy spot in the very middle, the comforter contained several large lumps of material within it. I woke up cold in certain spots, with a back-ache and smelling like a smoker! For $149 per night, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

I am a diamond elite. So I stay in hotels across the brand. I dont usually post up anything. But seeing the other comments im inclined to offer my 2 cents. The hotel isnt so bad. Price is ok. (depending on the time of year) its the night manager. Rude. Inconsiderate. Not friendly or helpful. Has told me multiple times that the hotel was full. (even when obviously not) even becoming argumentative about reservations. When ive had them for days and the room is already paid. At this point I think Hilton corporate needs to get a phone call.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Very Clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. The price is a little experience, but I would rather pay that and have a clean, neat place to stay.

Some of the staff was nice, the first room was terrible and smelled really bad, the AC didn't work and the desk staff offered no fix. The second room, the next night was better but still smelled bad. The manager never returned my calls and the 100% sanctification policy was ignored. For what it was, it was over priced and a bad stay.

For the cost p, the room was small compared to other similar hotels. The staff was friendly and the facility clean. Breakfast was great and plentiful. The biggest issue with this hotel is the poorly lit and marked entrance. In the dark almost impossible to see the driveway from the roadway, we drove by it twice.

Driving cross country as an active duty military family and diamond preferred members, we were greeted by a rude front desk manager who told us that the hotel had only two rooms left, when the parking lot was 80% empty. He also stated that a "Military rate" would increase our rate for a room. Turns out, the government rate was $100 more than the commercial price off the street. Very poor customer service.
